Is there a way to win?
Yeah not giving my email address out to random sites.
Also looks to have way too many crap meme images in it for me.
How do I run this?
First download didn't work, but the alternate did.
Reminds me of an old game called Castle of the Winds.
Very trippy graphics
Kept hitting a bug in firefox where my ship would get removed from the game somehow. Still had health, game continued to play by itself, just without the player O.o
No, it isn't the example game from XNA, it's all my own work ( I haven't actually seen that example, is it new? )
There's supposed to be a "good" ending, but I didn't get round to putting it in... Try getting one of the wave guns! They're the ones with the very high rate of fire...
I agree on the accel / decel thing. Ditto for damage / health indicators of some kind. The little things matter...
Fantastic little game, but the breakable blocks do seem to break too fast for me. Finishing some of the levels by fluke rather than skill!
That was actually pretty good, but it needs an end to it...
I love this game
Best get that windows version up soon...
There seems to be no point to speeding light up.
No explanation as to how this fits the theme.
I got a score of 3,163,870. Time bonus of 23 seconds. My strategy was to click on the planet's core repeatedly and use vaporize to get rid of everything else.
It's fun, but I didn't find out about firing meteors at the planet by clicking on it until after several plays!
There seems to be some kind of bug there actually...
Sometimes I get left with pieces of core I can't hit with meteors at all, and sometimes the game ends as soon as I vaporize the rock (at 23 seconds left).
Pity there's no way to win, but it's pretty good.
It's not loading for me, I only get a black screen. Any ideas?
I have google chrome and the latest flash player...
Oh it just took ages and ages to load. Played it now, it's interesting ...
Very nice game. Is getting the victory diamond the end or can you do something with it?
(I managed to plant a tree, collect water and make clouds on my own, but read the guide for the rest)
I only get a white window. Sorry.
Fantastic little game!
The planet's gravity should really decrease as you destroy it. I completely wiped out one planet, but its gravity was still there!
This is fantastic fun, you should consider doing a paid release!
High score of 236 :D
Made it!

I had a bug where I died right after the tutorial door near the start after triggering the flashing red light and it reset me to before the door but the flashing light was still on.
Sadly most of the enemies could just be run past and didn't have to be fought - same for the doors. The section with four enemies that could shoot down at you while you parkour'd across the gaps about half way through? You can just run on the enemies' own platform and go past them, only needing to make one jump at the end.
Also, you used Godot and hosted on itch.io so you could have easily exported a web version and uploaded that to itch.io. You'll get more plays if you have a web version than if people have to download an exe.
Not bad, I laughed at the ending sign, it was so short
Kind of crazy, but not really much of a game. Needs some kind of built in goal...
What browser? It works fine on Edge and Chrome. I'll add that to the description.
Edit: Apparently it's a [known bug in Safari](https://docs.godotengine.org/en/stable/tutorials/export/exporting_for_web.html#:~:text=Godot%204%27s%20HTML5%20exports%20currently%20cannot%20run%20on%20macOS%20and%20iOS%20due%20to%20upstream%20bugs%20with%20SharedArrayBuffer%20and%20WebGL%202.0). I'll try and make a Mac export today as it recommends.
Edit2: [making a mac export is apparently a bit of a chore](https://docs.godotengine.org/en/stable/tutorials/export/running_on_macos.html), unlike the Windows and HTML5 exports. Sorry Mac people.
I really wanted to do a bloom/glow effect, but it's not supported on the web compat renderer, and I couldn't do it in the sprites because... half of it isn't sprites! The playfield, enemies, and player are just Godot poly shapes!
Yeah I agree, it needs a banging soundtrack. But I don't know a good way to create that quickly within the rules of the compo (the rules state music must be created yourself for the 48-hour compo, no public free music)
@flaterectomy
Yeah there's a limit of IIRC 3 shots and +3 levels of rapid fire. Extra ones collected give bonus points instead. So does a duplicate shield pickup, or too many lives pickups.
With more time I'd have added some UI to indicate this.
An early version did have infinite extra shots, but it made the game far too easy quite quickly - you could end up firing a complete circle!
Perhaps a temporary powerup for that would be good too. A lot of shooters have a temporary "you have everything+1 for 10 seconds" powerup.
Nice score btw.
I got stuck after finding the side room. Interesting game though!
Nice little cooridor battler :)

I did have the controls glitch with Chrome on Windows, but clicking out and back in the HTML5 frame fixed it.
@nyxkn how did you fix it? My game is also in Godot...
I definitely enjoyed playing this, and it's quite impressive that you managed to make a random level generator inside the weekend!
My only comment is that it could do with some sound effects.
Not bad, but gameplay seemed a bit bare, and it could have done with some factory sounds to bring it to life
Interesting concept but far too easy if you can click fast. Hitting the multiply upgrade a few times to get past the initial stages and the rest I beat by a mile.
Oh and I broke the size counter haha:Broke.png
(I went over 100,000 Ko)
Very inventive!
Was there any sound? I played the web version and didn't hear anything.
