LD22 — Alone

Leave my Lettuce Alone :( by NeiloGD 2012-01-09T13:44:00

Fantastically innovative!

Barriers by scottwashi 2011-12-19T15:02:00

Is there a way to win?

Challenge Accepted! by fatality674 2011-12-21T09:58:00

Yeah not giving my email address out to random sites.

Also looks to have way too many crap meme images in it for me.

The Travel Section by khakionion 2011-12-21T18:55:00

How do I run this?

Le Looping Castaway by Atridas 2011-12-19T15:14:00

First download didn't work, but the alternate did.

Alone in the Dungeon by guzzungo 2011-12-19T15:27:00

Reminds me of an old game called Castle of the Winds.

Zomrilla Tactics by Pixel House toast 2011-12-19T12:23:00

Very trippy graphics

Dino Pilot and The Lonely Skies by benthepoet 2011-12-19T12:54:00

Kept hitting a bug in firefox where my ship would get removed from the game somehow. Still had health, game continued to play by itself, just without the player O.o

StarDrive by Thief 2011-12-28T18:11:00

No, it isn't the example game from XNA, it's all my own work ( I haven't actually seen that example, is it new? )

There's supposed to be a "good" ending, but I didn't get round to putting it in... Try getting one of the wave guns! They're the ones with the very high rate of fire...

I agree on the accel / decel thing. Ditto for damage / health indicators of some kind. The little things matter...

Little blue box by bms 2011-12-19T12:48:00

Fantastic little game, but the breakable blocks do seem to break too fast for me. Finishing some of the levels by fluke rather than skill!

Phil: A Search for a Friend by Bullseye8841 2011-12-21T10:06:00

That was actually pretty good, but it needs an end to it...

Separation Anxiety by TaintedFork 2011-12-19T13:50:00

I love this game

Calculon's Revenge by whaddon 2011-12-21T09:56:00

Best get that windows version up soon...

Relativity by crypticsea 2011-12-21T10:23:00

There seems to be no point to speeding light up.

No explanation as to how this fits the theme.

LD23 — Tiny World

When Worlds Collide by AlwaysGeeky 2012-04-28T21:47:00

I got a score of 3,163,870. Time bonus of 23 seconds. My strategy was to click on the planet's core repeatedly and use vaporize to get rid of everything else.

It's fun, but I didn't find out about firing meteors at the planet by clicking on it until after several plays!

When Worlds Collide by AlwaysGeeky 2012-04-28T21:53:00

There seems to be some kind of bug there actually...
Sometimes I get left with pieces of core I can't hit with meteors at all, and sometimes the game ends as soon as I vaporize the rock (at 23 seconds left).

Oh Boy, Oh Boy by Digitalis 2012-05-10T12:04:00

Pity there's no way to win, but it's pretty good.

T in Y World by Tom 7 2012-05-10T11:18:00

It's not loading for me, I only get a black screen. Any ideas?
I have google chrome and the latest flash player...

T in Y World by Tom 7 2012-05-10T12:06:00

Oh it just took ages and ages to load. Played it now, it's interesting ...

Atom Planet by NMcCoy 2012-05-10T11:45:00

Very nice game. Is getting the victory diamond the end or can you do something with it?
(I managed to plant a tree, collect water and make clouds on my own, but read the guide for the rest)

SimHamlet by Thief 2012-04-30T14:08:00

PsySal: Did you install .net 4 and XNA 4 like the instructions say?

Gulliver by DDRKirby(ISQ) 2012-04-23T21:43:00

I only get a white window. Sorry.

Gulliver by DDRKirby(ISQ) 2012-05-10T12:29:00

Fantastic little game!

Core Buster by Maato 2012-05-08T12:57:00

The planet's gravity should really decrease as you destroy it. I completely wiped out one planet, but its gravity was still there!

LD33 — You are the Monster

Mobs, Inc. by Pietro Ferrantelli 2015-09-15T09:31:00

This is fantastic fun, you should consider doing a paid release!

The Peasants Are Revolting! by Volumes of Fun 2015-08-25T16:36:00

High score of 236 :D

The Empty by fdslk 2015-08-25T09:13:00

If you rename TheEmpty\TheEmpty\Binaries\Win32\TheEmpty-Win32-Shipping.exe to TheEmpty.exe it runs.

(TheEmpty\TheEmpty.exe still doesn't work, but running the TheEmpty\TheEmpty\Binaries\Win32\TheEmpty.exe does)

LD54 — Limited Space

Space Panic by bog13 2023-10-03T13:18:39Z

Made it!

Clear2.png

I had a bug where I died right after the tutorial door near the start after triggering the flashing red light and it reset me to before the door but the flashing light was still on.

Sadly most of the enemies could just be run past and didn't have to be fought - same for the doors. The section with four enemies that could shoot down at you while you parkour'd across the gaps about half way through? You can just run on the enemies' own platform and go past them, only needing to make one jump at the end.

Also, you used Godot and hosted on itch.io so you could have easily exported a web version and uploaded that to itch.io. You'll get more plays if you have a web version than if people have to download an exe.

Fit by mahalis 2023-10-08T18:55:11Z

Unfortunately I could not play as I got an error saying my laptop didn't support D3D12, and using the -d3d11 commandline option gave the error that your game has not got d3d11 enabled

My Limited Cell by RicardoBusta 2023-10-12T20:42:24Z

Not bad, I laughed at the ending sign, it was so short

Locked Together by kr4ft3r 2023-10-14T10:14:28Z

Kind of crazy, but not really much of a game. Needs some kind of built in goal...

Bubble Space by Thief 2023-10-03T06:18:15Z

What browser? It works fine on Edge and Chrome. I'll add that to the description.

Edit: Apparently it's a [known bug in Safari](https://docs.godotengine.org/en/stable/tutorials/export/exporting_for_web.html#:~:text=Godot%204%27s%20HTML5%20exports%20currently%20cannot%20run%20on%20macOS%20and%20iOS%20due%20to%20upstream%20bugs%20with%20SharedArrayBuffer%20and%20WebGL%202.0). I'll try and make a Mac export today as it recommends.

Edit2: [making a mac export is apparently a bit of a chore](https://docs.godotengine.org/en/stable/tutorials/export/running_on_macos.html), unlike the Windows and HTML5 exports. Sorry Mac people.

Bubble Space by Thief 2023-10-03T15:04:08Z

I really wanted to do a bloom/glow effect, but it's not supported on the web compat renderer, and I couldn't do it in the sprites because... half of it isn't sprites! The playfield, enemies, and player are just Godot poly shapes!

Bubble Space by Thief 2023-10-04T09:11:20Z

Yeah I agree, it needs a banging soundtrack. But I don't know a good way to create that quickly within the rules of the compo (the rules state music must be created yourself for the 48-hour compo, no public free music)

Bubble Space by Thief 2023-10-15T07:00:07Z

@flaterectomy

Yeah there's a limit of IIRC 3 shots and +3 levels of rapid fire. Extra ones collected give bonus points instead. So does a duplicate shield pickup, or too many lives pickups.

With more time I'd have added some UI to indicate this.

An early version did have infinite extra shots, but it made the game far too easy quite quickly - you could end up firing a complete circle!

Perhaps a temporary powerup for that would be good too. A lot of shooters have a temporary "you have everything+1 for 10 seconds" powerup.

Nice score btw.

Cubicular Discerner by Foursay 2023-10-04T22:14:38Z

I got stuck after finding the side room. Interesting game though!

Corridor Duels by nyxkn 2023-10-03T13:04:19Z

Nice little cooridor battler :)

Clear.png

I did have the controls glitch with Chrome on Windows, but clicking out and back in the HTML5 frame fixed it.

Corridor Duels by nyxkn 2023-10-03T22:50:57Z

@nyxkn how did you fix it? My game is also in Godot...

Light up the Room by rubatotree 2023-10-08T20:24:51Z

I definitely enjoyed playing this, and it's quite impressive that you managed to make a random level generator inside the weekend!

My only comment is that it could do with some sound effects.

Compact Factory by BrokenBridge 2023-10-08T19:01:03Z

Not bad, but gameplay seemed a bit bare, and it could have done with some factory sounds to bring it to life

Saturated Installation by GlitchyDust 2023-10-08T20:38:43Z

Interesting concept but far too easy if you can click fast. Hitting the multiply upgrade a few times to get past the initial stages and the rest I beat by a mile.

Oh and I broke the size counter haha:Broke.png

(I went over 100,000 Ko)

DeskStop-30 by Turner Austin 2023-10-14T10:05:44Z

Very inventive!

Was there any sound? I played the web version and didn't hear anything.
