Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD22 → Dino Pilot and The Lonely Skies

It's a nice game, but the difficulty curve is a bit too steep.
Unfortunately I didn't have time to fix the disappearing bug, which seems to be intermittent. I think it has to do with multiple bullets (e.g. the twin gun) being removed more than once (and thus it accidentally removes the player or some other element).
I know sounds in LD22 are a certain way because of bfxr/sfxr but I feel like the game would have benefited greatly from deeper tone sounds than this particular sound. More of a thud then a zeap.
The difficulty curved from silly easy to quite challenging!
Never had any issues with bugs in Chrome.
Polish more!
This is a pretty cool game, it would have been nicer if the ship was a little faster, then I would have felt like the hits were less my fault. Also, the big meteor at the end killed me in about 2 seconds, which was more annoying than anything else.
Say captain Ben, she beauty is not loading in ma chrome for some reason.
Works great in my Chrome... Played to the end. Nice little game!
had no problem on the first run, and you wrote 'playIng'. Kudos for using javascript. the animation of the last meteor was nice too. But a bit more depth yould have been better
I definitely wanted to add more things to it, but I had to focus on cleaning up graphics and code the last day. I'm currently working on optimizing it, then hopefully getting it out onto Kongregate and probably porting it to Windows Phone.
You didn't bring anything new to the table and your graphics could have had more animation or effects, but the gameplay was solid enough to not get annoyed and the theme was conveyed pretty much exactly, if simply. I found that I was avoiding the asteroids/meteors/rocks more than destroying them, and I did want to get to the end to see what happened. I only played once and died from the boss. A good job overall but nothing quite unique in my book.
Looks neat. But just a heads up, I would suggest hosting it on something that uses port 80, because some people can't access http on other ports sometimes (such as me at work). Will try to remember to try this when I get home though. :)
