LD23 — Tiny World (13)

Gum Crisis In Pipe City by jason.bakker 2012-04-29T07:38:00

The concept is great, unique but easy to understand
Nice touch of having their 'voices' increase in pitch
Unfortunately, I must admit I gave up on jumping those tiny brown platforms with the tiny red worm ha ha

The Last Rainbow by Vandash 2012-04-28T09:14:00

Great little game.
Having different shaped buildings with different collisions made it interesting, as well as the secondary objective to click on stars.
This could be pretty cool on iOS, as you intended.
Looks nice too, good job

gravity by Rémi 2012-04-28T05:59:00

Great sound and interesting gameplay.
Like other people have said, it is a bit too hard. Maybe it could be cool to introduce powerups to assist the player

Tiny Wizard by kebabskal 2012-04-28T05:44:00

Fun, simple yet challenging. The hat switching mechanic was a nice addition. Good job :)

Dude, where's my planet by Zamando 2012-04-28T02:06:00

Gorgeous art style and music!
I really enjoyed the gameplay as well- simple but really challenging with nice progression in difficulty.
The only, only thing that annoyed me was that, for some reason, I thought the pink house in one of the levels was mine, and got frustrated that nothing happened.

This is my favourite entry so far :D

Gnome Alone by Matt Rudder 2012-04-28T01:25:00

The title screen is really nice, it would be great to see more of that style in the game.
The gameplay is simple to understand and enjoyable but it could really benefit from a secondary objective to give it a bit more depth.
Good job

Eye Quest by eigenbom 2012-04-27T11:59:00

Loved the graphics and music, they worked really well with the interactions.
Like other people have mentioned, I spent ages turning the fruit red, then realised they should be green.
A great little unique experience :)

ANT SURF HERO: THE SURFENING by JigxorAndy 2012-04-27T07:08:00

This is great! I really liked the graphics and the story.
Didn't bother shooting many of the bad guys though, because they weren't harming my character. Also, at one point I was all "I don't even need my ant!" and then fell in the water.
Really enjoyed it, the ending was great :D

Burger Defender by Beerman 2012-04-27T03:41:00

mmm... negative burger
This game could really benefit from more obvious visual feedback when a 'fatty' is successfully shot and a visual representation of the the amount of burger remaining.
Has challenge, but is simple to understand. Good job

Space Dozer by desmarkie 2012-04-27T00:18:00

I really enjoyed the loose, fluid controls, simple visual style and the way the bullets fall. But due to the structure of the game, I only ever aimed for the base of the tower. It would be even greater if that could be balanced out :)

Project Peace by ghRibacki 2012-04-26T07:36:00

I liked the pixel art and talking to the tiny people.
Some more gameplay elements would be great, like helping the tiny people, or trying not to crush them, however I did enjoy just progressing along to see what the next little man had to say :)

All That Are Lost Will Be Found by R3ason 2012-04-26T07:20:00

Found it pretty frustrating as I kept falling back to the start, maybe if the light burst was much brighter to reveal more of the level it would be a bit more forgiving. Nice interpretation of the theme though.
Being injured by the bad guys looked great.

Wulcan by leafo 2012-04-26T06:38:00

Fun game, the mechanic worked well. The increase in pace coupled with the tension from the enclosing walls is effective. More variety in enemies would help, as the weapons quickly become very powerful.
Like the pixels too.
