There was an issue in my play through with a character image not appearing... it's something about a bloody person.
Don't want to give anything away.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD33 → St. George's Academy for Monster-Slaying Lasses

Terin, I think I know what bug that is: I thought I fixed all occurrences of it. I'll comment again when I've updated this.
Alright. It was what I thought it was: the bug is now fixed. Thanks for pointing it out!
This game is pure awesome!
Okay, Ren'Py, awesome!
Great work on getting your own art, story and music together. Keep it going!
Tip: draw your sprites a bit longer, so that their waist is above the text displayd on the screen.
Keep on writing!
Nice game! I don't know that I've ever seen a visual novel with battle mechanics in it.
Dig the mood and style of game here. I love dialog and choices.
The dialog itself was a bit heavy-handed in relation to the theme. Just needed a subtle approach so it feels more natural.
Overall, cool approach, and I like the multiple endings.
Very nice, interesting idea and like the style. It works very well in how you have implemented it.
Good effort.
Love it! :D (the plot twist shocked me O:)
Nice, i almost never play these types of games, but i enjoyed this. Wasn't quite sure how to kill the dragon though.
In general, this is a solid entry. Lots of good stuff happening, especially including hand-drawn characters in an LD game.
I wish there were a few choices I could make to change up the combat aspect; maybe I could find a better sword or armor and have to choose between them? As it is, the combat seems kinda arbitrary.
I'd love to see this expanded with a bit more polish and a lot more content. Good job!
Excellent game. Best visual novel I've ever played in a LD game. Really interesting writing and great graphics/audio.
A weird mix of date sim and RPG. Graphic style is unique, the story is kinda interesting, but the gameplay is average.
Great writing, funny implementation of your art ! Catchy music as well :)
Lovely little game. Perfect music, put a big grin on my face when it started. I like the theme too!
cool, i liked the concept and the story was interesting and very tied to the theme.
What i didn't like was the music on the background at the begining, it was very anonying, and also was the fight. no matter what i lost every time i fight with the dragon or i missed something. aside from that i liked it
Your welcome! :D
I played through a couple of extremes and got two bad endings.
I'm not usually that big on VNs but a short one is fun to play.
This game is super nice. I think it's the only compo entry I've ever seen that has a save system, haha. I love the art style, the story and the music. Well done!
Quite a well made entry, I like how much content you've put in! I felt that the music didn't really fit all that well but the hand-drawn style was unique and quite nice. The battle system seemed hastily added and something of an afterthought, but it's nice to mesh other genres into VNs like that from time to time. Keep it up!
nice entry.
i especially like the hand drawn art and think it does a good job with the theme.
It is hard work creating all the graphics and music. It's a short text adventure game.
had fun playing this
This game is captivating.
I like the hand-drawn graphics, and the story was interesting. The music wasn't bad, but didn't fit the mood I don't think. Not always a fan of RenPy games, but the subject matter and art style kept me interested in this one. Nice work.
Nice animations and cool retro-rainbow font ^^
Very nice project guys, i really love it, please check our game too and if you liked it give us a vote. Look for Road to hell and enjoy.
In Compo ruleset, I thought the graphics had to be made from scratch, no? Either way, thought that the narrative was OK. Certainly reminded me of middle-school. That said, it does rely on some well-trodden tropes that makes it a bit predictable.
