Nice game! A little bit hard to coordinate, but I guess that's part of the game's charm, right? Graphics are smooth and the audio factor really adds to the gameplay.
Congratulations on your first LD! =)
(sorry for not posting my high score, I'm ashamed of it)
Bad accuracy on the controller, gave up on level 6 (too hard!!). The dialogs are funny and reminds me (for obvious reasons) of Portal. Good work nonetheless. =)
Nice game! Very simple, but funny and doesn't need a lot of thinking (which is very good sometimes). I just wished you had time to put on some power ups or something. Anyway, good work! =)
Damn it, I really tried! But I couldn't get to the end of the game. Got bored/annoyed too soon, mechanics are fuzzy and controls and sound are annoying. The world seems never ending though it was supposed to be a tiny world, right?
Passed that, I loved the graphics and the story at the beginning is lovely! The idea of using the scarf as a grappling hook is awesome too!
I say good work! More polishing on gameplay would've been nice though. =)
Took me a while to get the hang of things, but then it was all love! Won at easy and tried the hard, but ran out of water and lost my only water workplace... I wonder if there is any way to get past that in game or I should start all over.
Good work! Amongst my LD favorites already. =)
Nice game! I didn't like two things though: couldn't figure out how to beat the boss and the number of hearts is too small! Maybe with 3 extra hearts I could figure out how to beat the boss... Aside from that, everything is awesome! =)
Final score: 123256.
I guess I destroyed 89% of the planet.
Good game, but lacks replay factor!
Good work. =)
P.S.: I needed to manually select my NVIDIA driver to run the game, the integrated Intel board wouldn't play it (gave the assert error).
I loved the concept, but it's too hard!
Right click on Windows was annoying, kept opening the context menu...
I was kind of overwhelmed by the rules on the beginning, I guess it would be easier if they appeared progressively during the game.
Overall, very good! Congratulations on your first LD. =)
Nice game! Shame it doesn't have any sound. I would love to see it taken further with levels and different landscapes. Different enemy types would be great too!
Please, port it to Java 6 so I can play!
Adorable game! Very simple. The graphics and sound make the perfect mood for a space game. One of the most fun LD23 games I played so far! Thanks for such a nice game. =)
I love the mood! I could sure use some 2 or 3 more levels. It left me wanting more. It was challenging too. Good work! =)
The graphics are very simple but fit well with the gameplay. The audio is very pleasant and add a lot to the mood. Gets very hard at some point, but it has the right amount of levels Great game! =)
Nice graphics and audio! Funny and moody game. I ran for 47 hours before hitting the first building. =)
A piece of piano music with it would go great! I love the graphics! =)
Took me a while to get the vine but the ending was totally worth it! Good work, man, awesome mini game! =)
I really missed sounds and some more gameplay, but it is very good for your first game! I hope it is the first of many. Good work. =)
How do you play? What is the goal?
Requires installation... I gave up on playing on that point. Did not rate. Sorry!
I think you are an awesome artist! Sum that up with good game designing and you will be at the top of the world! I also acknowledge the hard work you must have been through to learn how to use those C++ libraries (I wouldn't have the same persistence). Excellent job. =)
Awesome concept! Too bad my Cthulhu stopped growing after sometime... I really wish he was able to fill all the screen with his foot!
Good work. =)
Nice idea, awesome graphics, too bad there is no sound.
Want to try out the updated version later! =)
Nice game! The guitar really adds to the mood of the game and the graphics are awesome. Good work! =)
It is fun and intriguing, but I can't get anything other than Axe, Jump Boots, Ice Shield and the first artifact... I liked the visual style a lot! =)
Wow! I wasn't expecting that! Nice story! =D
Nice puzzle! I wish it had more levels! I'm keeping the Android build to try it on an Android, once I put my hands on one! Good work. =)
P.S.: It worked just fine on a 64-bits Windows 7!
Little bit hard, but lots of fun! Awesome art (graphics and sound). :)
It reminds me of my own entry! I liked it, but it seems to have the same flaws: needed more gameplay and some challange. It has way better graphics though, especially the sun and the moon! Good work. =)
God! I was really enjoying the game until the physics went nuts and animals were pushed to all sides! Really chaotic and hard to hand the controls. But nice concept! I felt actually bad for not being able to play it properly (really liked the idea).
I loved the story and its simplicity. I haven't enjoyed a point-and-click adventure for a long time! The ending was totally worth it! Graphics are great and the sound is just what it needed to be: not less, not more.
Good job! =)
Really nice concepts! I enjoyed developing the nation on this tiny world from farms to moon bases! Graphics are awesome and the music really adds to the spacey mood. Good work! =)
Funny game! The curvature is sweet and the pixelated graphics are awesome. Good work! =)
Nice idea! Bit difficult to keep an eye on those two, but it's fun. Loved the visual style!
Nice game, but took me a while to understand that I needed to get the fruits so I could keep going on to the next group of island... The idea of diagonals on everything is interesting and the music is nice. Cute bird!
Good work! =)
Nice game! Only thing I didn't like too much was the walls' textures, it's very easy to get lost because they're all the same. Good work nonetheless! =)
Wow! I loved the graphics, audio and mood! So simple yet innovative, the mix of genres is genius. Good work! =)
I loved the visual style, but the controls are imprecise and frustrating making the player lose lots of time trying to move to a place or jumping on mushrooms. I couldn't find the milk but it was nice to navigate through the tunnels. =)
Nice game! Unfortunately I only read the description after playing it and now I lost my score... But I colonized 37 planets before the time ran out! I loved the intro story! Really funny. =)
What the... at the end I blew up some ants and loads more appeared! Hell! Chaos! At least I killed them all! Funny ants.
More feedback on shots and more ammo would be better, but overall a very nice game! Good work! =)
This is perfect! Too bad I don't have the time now to go through all the levels and get all the coins and top the poles... Thankfully it saves my progress! Yay! Bonus points! =D
The sound effects are the best! I love puzzles like this one, would love to see more of it!
Nice music and dialogs! Really funny. Text and some other stuff could be better aligned though. Fitted perfectly the theme. The ending is ok. =P
Very good game! Loved the graphics and the audio. Funny lyrics and sfx! The only things I didn't like were the character speed (could be a little faster) and I got an exception at the end (after the credits, I believe):
org.newdawn.slick.SlickException: Game.update() failure - check the game code.

at org.newdawn.slick.AppletGameContainer$ContainerPanel.start(AppletGameContainer.java:218)
at org.newdawn.slick.AppletGameContainer$1.run(AppletGameContainer.java:92)
I played the web version on a Windows 7.
Good work, guys! =)
This is one of the funniest entries I've played! The graphics are simple yet effective, the sound effects are good and the music makes an awesome mood. I loved the idea of being a mouse avoiding people's feet! =)
Too bad there aren't binaries for Mac and Linux. =/
(thankfully I use Windows)
I start at tool level 0, which means I can't perform any action, I guess. Maybe I'm missing something? As said before, the UI is like a wall. I try to perform actions and I get no feedback, like, I tried to dig, but I couldn't... or could I? How do I get materials??? Where are the ROUS?
I loved the idea, but I couldn't figure out what to do. =(
Haha! So much fun! Very challenging too. Awesome game. :)
At first I thought it was not quite a game, but then I realized what the real challenge was! I smell innovation. =)
Funny game! Very simple and straight.
Limiting it to the Android platform wasn't really smart, as I don't think too many people will try it out. I did and I actually liked the game, but the control is hard and sometimes the screen turns black and the gray NPCs are back. I didn't know if it had an ending so I gave up.
I like the visual style though a little confusing, took me little time to figure walls, doors and trees out. =)
Next time try to get a larger audience!
Very nice and innovative, but gets kind of boring after some time. I really liked the graphics, the sound and the idea but I failed to understand exactly what was going on (I guess a little more feedback on hitting the enemies could have been useful).
Aside from that, I was very amused by the whole idea. =)
Very nice mood, the music really adds to it. Though I was very frustrate after some solid 15 minutes of playing it thinking my strategy was ok and then I open the door with no gems left. =(
Will try again later, really liked the game! =)
As a good fan of survival games I really liked this one. I really felt like evolving through the game. But the part where ships start to shoot at you was really hard!
Music is nice and fits the mood, but the introductory text was too long and had many typos. I'd advise on being more careful next time.
Overall good, congratulations. =)
Didn't understand exactly what I was doing until the game ended, it was kind of confusing. Maybe some more feedback and slower speed could improve the experience, was really hard to move.
Really nice idea, though. Congratulations. =)
I really liked the idea of having allies while fighting waves of enemies! I'm all love for the graphics style (couldn't like them more) and the sounds fit nice creating a good mood. Really enjoyed it! =D
But where is the evolution? .-.
Damn, I really enjoyed your description and was excited to try it out, but I've got the same bug. Windows 7 64-bits here. I hope you guys can fix it so I can play and rate. :)
Oh, and service pack 1.
Good point! I was waiting to see if there was some hidden message on the last level if I was persistent enough, but I guess I wasn't. =P
Congratulations on your first LD! =)
Also, my score: 2417.
Really beautiful graphics. I was really sad to find out it was so short, though. Some sound would be great too, but I totally understand your lack of time to work on it.
I like the puzzle idea, but the water is so slow! Also, some levels are really harsh on the player making he/she move a lot in the same direction just to be able to fall on the plants. Maybe a narrow screen would be better so there isn't a lot of horizontal movement.
Talking about the screen, the resolution didn't fit well on mine and I couldn't see the score and the timer (I use 1366 x 768).
The music loop was kind of annoying, it was cut in what seemed the middle of the tune and restarted.
I'm sorry if I'm being hard on you, but I always try to be honest. The idea is very nice and I hope you can improve it in the future. =)
I like the idea of mutations dna-like on the game. Those double paddles are really challenging! A very nice game, fitted perfectly with the theme but I missed some chirp sounds.
Very confusing at the beginning and it froze a lot here, maybe because of the Blender engine, but not sure. Eventually the game froze and after a while asked if I wanted to continue or not. Couldn't select neither of them...
The idea is very nice, though, I wish you had more time to work on it. Congratulations on your first LD! I hope you'll participate on December and have more time to work on it! =D
Very nice, the idea is very original and creative (at least I have never played anything like this before). It's just a bit hard, but I guess it fits with the category of awesome games that are frustrating. =)
I really like the graphics and the idea of combining colors to defeat the enemies are really nice. Though, I think there is lack of feedback (score or something similar) so the player knows how he/she is doing.
Nice game, very intuitive. The theme is very obvious on this one and game play is very present. Gets crazy pretty fast, like a bullet hell. Congratulations! =D
Nice game! I really like these games in which each level has a different deep meaning and the overall message is a good one. It was short, though, and I got sad for the short life the cat had, but then the game told me he had a long life and I was happy again! =D
Congratulations for your entry. =)
Very pretty and polished game! I was kind of confused at first but then I guess I got it. I got 1 on each gene at the end, still don't know if I could get more.
Overall pretty good, congratulations. =D
First game from LD24 that I play that uses this approach on evolution (through AI). Really nice! The evolution is kind of subtle at first, but then I realized that I wasn't being hit for a time and they became smart and beat me easily.
Congratulations. =D
Whoa! This is definetely my favorite entry so far!!
Simply awesome. The Skirmish mode was my favorite, though I lost the code I got from the Evolution mode when copying yours over to make them fight. I think it doesn't matter anyway, since mine lost. =P
Really liked the graphics, couldn't fit more the theme and it was really fun and challenging. VERY innovative.
Congratulations! =D
Nice mood and really funny game, though I missed some more challenge. Fitted fine with theme and the graphics are lovely! Overall good. Congratulations. =)
The timer at the beginning of the levels were kind of annoying since I died a lot. I liked the way that the ship evolve, though. Nice game! =D
Nice concepts but a little hard to play, at least for me. Got my ass beaten up three times in a row. xD
I also didn't understand how the first screen says I'm the lizard but I'm a turtle if a choose the turtle or a lizard if I choose the fish. Couldn't choose the lizard for some reason (wow, that was really confusing).
I looked up when I was falling for the first time! =P
Made it close to the end of the 3rd level (48/50 points). Gets hard pretty fast but feels like the right thing to do on this game. You learn the mechanics pretty fast and then it's a challenge. The collision box for the repair nodes could be less cruel, though, it is smaller than the other nodes' since it's easier to fall than to get the repair node, but I guess it makes part of the challenge.
Graphics are awesome and the music is good. Very nice mood. =)
I like the graphics style and the music fits very well with the horror-like theme (at least that's what I got!). Liked the sound effects too. The game is fun but the control was kind of tough for me, sometimes when attacking the character would move too, turning his back to the enemy I was trying to attack.
Overall good. =)
Nice game! I loved the idea of buying cells so I level up specific characteristics of my entity(?). The music and the parallax background are both very pleasant and I had a great time playing it. Couldn't fit more with the theme!
Congratulations, mate. =)
Really loved it! Very fun and pretty. Loved the Donald The Duck frame on the principal's room and the Meat truck. :P A little hard, though, had to play 4 or 5 times until I reached the clouds level and then died pretty quickly (couldn't figure out if I could/should shoot or not). Gonna play more later so try and finish it, but I wanted to rate it already. :)
Now I'm a man! High score: 37.000. Nice game, I appreciated the Rainbow Road reference. =P
Controls are though though (lol), one thing I noticed is kind of recurring with Unity made games... Missed some precision there.
Some music would be awesome too, but this is already very good. =)
Thanks for the congrats and for reviewing my game! There was no sound, which left me very disappointed since I planned to add awesome music from the start but didn't have time. I'll definitively do a post-compo version later, but unfortunately it will have to wait a while.
Thanks again! =)
I love cellular automata and I really liked your idea. The game is kind of complicated, though, maybe it would work better with levels where each level would add a new instruction or something. The graphics are very charming, even if simplistic. =D
Nice game! I just wish it was more fast paced. Took me a whole lot to get my first characteristic (those green paws..?) and then I played for a lot more and got nothing else.
Fits perfectly the theme and it was fun and innovative. More remarkable and gameplay-influential characteristics would be fun.
I'm sorry to hear some of you are having problems with the game. Maybe it has something to do with the OpenGL version used (1.1 and 2.0). I don't have time to look too much into it and I don't have ways to test it (it works ok on my computer), so if you guys could tell me which OS and Java version you're using, maybe I can do something. If you can figure out if there is some exception happening (on the Java console) it would help a lot too.
I'm sorry for the bugs. =(
I loved the concept but missed some polish. No intuitive feedback on the buttons when you click, sometimes it doesn't work and I have to click again, and wait a while to see if it triggered something.
I'm still giving you guys a good rate because the graphics are very pretty and the overall is good. I'm sure more time would be enough for you to polish the game.
Congratulations. =)
Very well polished and fun! Always a pleasure to see Oryx's graphics (though some new sprites based on them would be even more sweet). I liked the music a lot, very inspiring and action-oriented.
The goals were very well defined and the game looks balanced, even though I couldn't beat the boss at the end. =(
Overall, good game! =D
This game reminds me a lot of Super Meat Boy, which is a good thing! Some levels are very challenging, but that's what makes this kind of game appealing to me!
The simplistic graphics always please me, I'm yet to make a pack of mini-games using only colored squares! =D
Very cool puzzle game! I like how even with the extra time to work out the solution, it still very challenging. Got stuck at level 7, will try again later. =)
Awesome graphics! A little confusing at first, but I manage to win! \o/
A little bit hard to click on the green, I had to click like crazy in all directions.
The concept is very nice, maybe you can make a new game on top of this? =D
Wow! I love your art! Did you wrote the music as well?
Is there only one level? I want the post-jam version now! =D
Very creative game! I liked how you implemented the seek and shift modes. =)
Sound is a little annoying over time, but it was funny.
I couldn't go over the 5th level. =(
Good game! =D
Chrome warned from downloading the file, I unzipped it anyway, then Avast told me to open it on a sandbox and Chrome crashed in the background. Also the game crashed after I chose inputs. =(
Lovely graphics! I wish the game was a little bit harder or longer, though. I managed to beat it in the first try and it seemed kind of abrupt.
Cool game, nonetheless! =D
Frustrating game, yay! =D
I'll definitely have nightmares of green balloons now!
(for the record, I manage to beat them =p)
The lo-fi graphics are very well and creatively done.
The countdown in music form is very clever!
Wish it had more levels. =)
The characters are funny, I like the graphics.
Gameplay reminds of me Castle Crashers' "All you can eat" game mode.
One thing you could've done was to make you fight the different characters on 1P mode (one after another) like a tournment.
Pretty game! =)
Funny game! The audio is a little annoying but helps building up a tense mood, which I thought was nice!
I couldn't beat it, though, like you said it's very hard! =P
I love metroidvanias, so I am suspect on this one!
The game suffers from lack of sound, though. It could improve the mood and atmosphere a lot.
I liked it a lot nonetheless!
The music is kind of annoying because I kept glitching on the teleporters. =( Movement was a little bit frustrating because sometimes the character would stop and I had to let go of the key and press it again...
On the other hand, I really liked the graphics and the mechanics. =D
Wow, hard to play it alone! Very creepy and dark!
Despite the confuse third and fourth nights (which were basically random walking along the walls to find the exits) I liked this game a lot!
Colors/graphics and sound were VERY effective in creating the perfect mood and the ending was VERY good (in a sense that I was very happy to see it and it wouldn't give me nightmares as the rest of the game xD).
Thanks for the opportunity to play such a good piece! =)
Cool music and graphics!
A little bit too hard, though. Managed to go as far as level 18, but game play became very frustrating, it was too hard to keep the baby inside the screen AND avoid the spikes AND collect the stars. =(
Story was funny, sounded like a psychedelic surreal dream. A little creepy. xD
Good work! =D
I gotta say the theme interpretation and the ending were precious!
Cool music, right mood and fun mechanics. It ended exactly where it should before game play started to feel repetitive. That room with the chained books was kind of hard!
I'm giving 5 stars to Theme and Humor for original theme interpretation and funny story line. =D
I like the mood and the graphics a lot! The puzzles are very simple and the game is very short, but I enjoyed playing it nonetheless.
I couldn't relate it too much to the theme, though. I ended up using all my energy mid-game and had to beat the rest without the invisibility power... which kind of made it useless to me. =(
Interesting experience, overall. =D
I really enjoy the graphics! They are very pleasant and cute!
Like you said, the physics aren't great, but they are passable.
Sound is simple but nice!
Good work! =D
Awesome graphics and audio! Very well polished!
Hard! (I like hard and frustrating games =p)
I like how you made the game up using only Java buttons with images on them! Rules are a bit confusing, but I manage to beat it twice! =D
I really liked the cat and how Doctor Drown holds him every now and then!! =D The overall art is very interesting, including the sketch-like introduction. =)
This game is very innovative, at least I have never played something similar! Those agents remind me of some Nickelodeon characters, haha.
I manage to beat the agents in my first try, but I had to play two more to see the other endings! =)
I also like how you guys used many cameras, I didn't know it was possible without a huge overload!
Also, I missed a restart button after each ending (it's good to have one, especially in a game that the player will like to play again to see the other endings ^^).
Very cool game! =D
The aesthetics are very cool and the dialogs are funny. In a general form, I liked it! Too bad you guys couldn't implement a score mechanic as right now it feels like the game has no goal (I tried shifting completely to both sides to see what would happen, haha).
The music was interesting at the beginning, but as I walked forward and kept playing balanced a long time, it got kind of repetitive and annoying. The same goes for the dialogs - if the purpose is to keep playing as long as you can, I think it would be cool to have a huge database of phrases and possible responses, but with the time constraints I perfectly understand why there is just a limited set of them.
Another idea would be to shift the music accordingly with the current balance, like it happens with the lighting!
It was an overall interesting experience! =D
Very cool atmosphere! The suggested sound track fits very well, too bad you couldn't make your own music to put into the game.
I like the controls a lot! I don't think I have seen this type of control in a game before.
Graphics are amazing and the sound effects are ok.
Good game! =D
Very cool concept! Beautiful well-polished game!
I think this game was the one that I played/rated so far that had more heart and mind put into it! So sincere!
I can't stress enough how amazing this game is.
Sincerely one of the best I've played. =)
Looks like a very interesting and funny game! Too bad for the screen size... I couldn't play it. =(
Cool concepts! I found the blue neurons a little confusing (couldn't kill them..?) and the control was kind of hard.
Good work! =)
Cool game! Simplistic graphics always please me, and the small characters are really charming! Sound effects are very well placed, but music could be less repetitive.
I had a lot of fun and manage 330 kills before dying by the hands of an enemy. =(
The rooms are infinite??
Good work! =D
Same as Croze! :(
At first I was kind of confused as to what my friends were, so I was just wandering away trying to find the source of the music.. haha! The light/dark switch thing every 10 seconds is amazing and the slowdown effect while being touched by the critters is very annoying (which is the point I think, so it's a good thing (not for my completionist nervs, though)!).
Amazing game! =D
The game kept me tense for the most part! The atmosphere is just amazing and even though you say you have no talent for music you know how to build up a piece to put the player in the mood of the game!
I killed myself and Dave in my first try and manage to get out on the second, but I had to leave Dave. =( Is Dave's oxygen the only one supposed to recover? (it makes sense because you can breath precisely for 10 seconds when you're not with Dave? =p)
Congratulations on your first entry! The game is just awesome and I can't wait to check your next one in December. =D
Very well polished and funny! Too bad it's multiplayer only and I had no one to play with. =(
I like the graphics and sound effects a lot! =D
Haha! That little spider man is funny. The controls are kind of messed up, is hard to stay on top of the meteors. I manage to win, so I'm happy! =D
Judging by the simplistic game, I believe you just started making games. I just wanted to say don't give up. =)
I love the mood! It reminds me a lot of vvvvvv in a very good way! The visual style is very simple but very effective. Along with the music it creates a very good mood!
This game will definitely work as inspiration for my next one! =)
I was very tense at first, but when I found out the simple rules I relaxed and enjoyed it a little. I couldn't beat it, though, because most times that I click, even with two overlapping germs, they won't mix and another one spawns... A little frustrating!
Very cool piece, nonetheless! =)
I really like the visual style!
Controls are not as tight as it could be and can be frustrating sometimes, but it doesn't stop the game from being good! =)
Very simple and funny games! My favorite one is the 10 Second Solutions, though I went better on the 10 Second Button Masher.
Come on, man! Up to level 18 was OK, but 19 is just devilish!
I liked this game a lot! I like how music switches on certain levels and how some sound effects are changed when using certain power ups. =)
Wow! Haha! Very funny game! I wasn't able to get other three players but I can tell it would be fun!
I was a little bit confused about the items at first, but it's just a matter of experimenting.
I liked especially the phrases at the end! =D
I really like the visuals of the game! Textures and overall art style is pretty amazing! I also liked a lot the different weapons, especially the black holer. =D
It's kind of hard to aim, though. Bullets have unpredictable trajectory, physics make it hard to hit enemies.
Good game! =)
Very cool game! Upgrading system is always a pleasure to use and I liked the visuals a lot! Too bad some of my kittens had to drawn. =(
Awesome music, funny sound effects and very well polished graphics! I like the mood it all creates together! Also, the introductory narrative was very well done!
But I found the game somewhat hard... I was a little confused all along and sometimes had to rely on luck to beat a level. =( But it might be just me, I don't know.
Anyway, good job! =D
This is actually the first game I play where "10 seconds" is the theme (OK, not exactly "10" but...), not a mechanic (including my own game). That was really nice!
The story is interesting and the music is splendid! Graphics are really cool and detailed, I liked especially the first/last scene!
(also, I couldn't find the problem with the dove collision)
Thanks for this awesome experience! =D
I like the mood that the graphics and the music blend into!
The game is a bit challenging (read "hard"), but pleasant to play overall. =)
Very simple game, controls are a little weird, dagger is kind of hard to find, which makes it a little confusing... When I was with 29HP a "powerup sfx" played and the game froze. I don't understand what that means! Also, the game maps was a little uninteresting and there was no goal other than "survive", which was very frustrating. =(
That said, I really like the circular effect around the player and the sense of "clunkyness" you intentionally put into the game. I believe if you had more time to work on it you could add some cool stuff to it! =)
This is seriously more than I can handle. Is there anyway for you to put a download link for the game? I'd like to hold on to it forever!
Stars aside, the only thing I manage to relate to the theme was the launch countdown. Is that all? Because it's a shame such a well worked game would fail on the basic aspect of the competition. =(
Please, a download link!!! *-*
I loved the intro! The game is kind of hard, though! I wish there was a better indication that you are losing health every time an enemy hits you. Also, my mouse hates you guys! =D
Through trial and error I found out that if I click a lot when he is falling, he will jump higher the next time... I'm still not sure if I did it right, but my mouse is in tears right now! =p
That said, I like the graphics a lot and the theme was well explored in my point of view.
(I won with 3:33 and 26 bounces/jumps)
I liked it a lot since I really enjoy simplistic games (and frustrating ones too)! =D
I wish the restart timer wouldn't take so long, though. There is something about this kind of game making me wait between rounds that displeases me. =(
I like how you have 10 seconds each time you switch rooms, I was actually thinking about doing that on my entry too!
Game is a bit hard, though! Aiming is a little difficult, but manageable. The rooms are huge so it's a little tense when you have to cross it to reach another door, haha.
Cool game! =D
This is the 51th game I'm rating and I can say it is my favorite one by far. The upgrading system is very sweet, sound track is AMAZING, graphics are absolutely beautiful.

I seriously doubt I'll find a game that I like more than Hyper Furball in this Ludum Dare edition!
On the behalf of the team, I'd like to thank all of you who took the time to play/rate/comment our entry! =D
We really appreciated all of the kind comments and suggestions!
Very cool game! I like the graphics a lot.
The mechanics are very interesting too.
Too bad you didn't have time to include sound effects and music, but the results of a 4 hour work is impressive!
Good work! =D
Graphics are cute! Game is kind of frustrating, the gravity is a little weird, but I liked the game nonetheless. =)
Why even bother posting an unplayable game? Is it suppose to be like this?
Nice little game! Fit the theme just right.
As the other people said, more levels would be great, too bad the theme was limiting on this aspect.
It was fun!
I'll be judging the submitted version.
It is very relaxing and the physics are very interesting, but it could be more elaborated on how to build things with the sand.
I was a little confused as to why the flag was almost out of the screen... Maybe it would be nice to have it on the center so you can build stuff around it?
The dialog between the kids is really funny and got me interested! Can't wait to try the post-jam version.
Congratulations on your first submission!
