Love the cartoonish art style! And loved the tiny people running off. Overall really solid game! Congratulations!

Love the cartoonish art style! And loved the tiny people running off. Overall really solid game! Congratulations!
Needs more work, it's a shame, since it looks like a good concept. Keep up improving! :)
Visually stunning to say the least, reminds me of those old isometric Game Boy games somehow! I liked it!
Collisions were weird sometimes, but overall I liked it! Really good! The graphics reminded me a little of "Z", that old strategy game...
You sir are right, this is a good first Ludum Dare for you, and for me too. Death Star <3
Music was great! Worked fine on my computer (Intel i5), no noticeable FPS loss. I actually liked the slow paced feel. Good job.
Visuals were really good! And enjoyed the gameplay. I don't think the music matched the action of the falling spheres, tough. Mouse control like and FPS would've been good too! Keep up the good work!
I did not find the enemies attractive and I would like to see a more badass gnome design (but that's just me). But being a gnome was fun! Nice graphics. Specially liked the "Max Payne Style" life bar and menu screen!
Oooh! Fun game. Reminded me of other entry, with the same Pong premise, but with a musical twist. Yours has more "replay" value :) Good job!
OOOH, reached wave 10! I see that other users have gone far than that, so I'm going to have to play some more ;) Good game.
Loved it.
haha, I think I just killed everybody. Fun game, but the visuals confuse me a little.
It's no lie! We did utilize a lot of graphics over and over. But with slight details, so they look kind of different. Also we made a lot of "templates" to speed up our work, like the ones on the game overs, events and endingS ;)
Your comment makes us totally glad! Thanks so much!
@tequibo Thank you! Too bad you couldn't experience the sounds. We have known about the Chrome "loading time" issue from a couple of users. Only happens in Chrome :( Guess it's not the fastest browser around :P
@daredevildave Thank you Dave! Yeah, game needs more balance. We had to think of a fast way of getting the player to BUILD things, and that those things you build make sense and be useful.
@Gabriel Thanks! We will continue this work, we falled in love with it! ¡Abrazos!
@derrickdool LOL thanks Derrick, we have to say that, that was pretty much pure luck, I don't think we even thought about that. Glad you feel it that way! ^__^
Thanks to everyone for the great comments and feedback! Glad to see that so many of you liked it.
We are already working in a serious update with all the noted issues. The lack of time made us unaware of many silly mistakes (The "No space" limitation, the mid-air transition to levels, debugging for Chrome -were most of the bugs and slowdowns happen-). And of course, tune and improve the turn based combat, a lot (and overall gameplay too).
It will be a BIG game, at least, that's our idea and ambition. So I hope that you can check "ONLY US" on Facebook to follow the further development https://www.facebook.com/OnlyUsApp :)
The overall idea it's better explained at our postmortem post: Crater doors, which would act like a dungeon zone with a more platform/action oriented gameplay. More enemies, puzzles, exploring the WHOLE moon (probably include teleporters or detours, as "ilo" remarks), a story that actually develops further and makes more sense. Things you can emote and befriend with (probably enemies that won’t attack you and you can even pet?) Somehow fix the ship and conquer the universe in a multiplayer massive online pixelarted mayhem!?
Anyway, we falled in love with the project so it's our priority right now :) Thanks so much to everyone so far, this means a LOT to us. Like, really A LOT.
Thanks so much free_napalm! Really glad and happy you felted it that way!
It's a hell of a compliment that it reminded you to the Fallout series! ^___^
Yes, the respawning enemies are really a pain in the butt after a while. The idea is to keep development, so in a future update, when you "conquer" an area with a checkpoint, the enemies no longer appear.
We'll be sure to play your submission later on! We played a couple of games that kind of had the same idea or concept of loneliness/space/depressing mood. It IS pretty curious, right?
Nice little game! Graphics are good and it's very polished! Good work!
Graphics maybe need a little more work for my taste, but it's fun anyway! Good job!
Really polished game, and fun too. Congratulations!
I move real slooow, haha. But it's a fun idea, I would like to see how it plays with a few improvements. Keep up the good work!
Difficult game! But really good, and the "retro" feel, was really well made. One of the few games I had (but this time, actually wanted) to view in fullscreen. The only thing that really annoyed me was that when you were against a wall, and keep pressing left or right, when you jump it would do it just straight. So, grabbing the knife at the beginning was harder than grabbing the key. Nevertheless overall, really good!
Visually stunning! Really like the concept too, good work!
Whoa, this one turned out to be quite difficult, but somehow that's good! Keep up improving the good work!
AMAZING GAME!
Loved the idea and graphics! It's also really fun. Good job!
Graphics are good, but I wish this was more finished, so I could rate it properly!
LOL it feels like a mini tiny Minecraft. Good work! Somehow I had issues with Opera on the main menu, but switched to Firefox and it was all good. And I wish the screen size was larger, but overall good job!
It's... complex strategy, so I like that. I like the many options of units and buildings. It's a shame that this was a very confusing experience, though. But actually, really impressive for so little development time!
Lovely graphics! And I really dig the idea! Entertaining result overall :)
At first I got confused, but then I was all over it. By the way, your art style is simply AWESOME.
Has a couple of bugs! :( But the idea is really original, reminds me a little bit to "Rampage". You should keep up the good work!
Wow! Awesome game, stunning pixelart! A solid, complete, good and entertaining game. A tutorial at first, or progressive learning about the different elements would've been perfect, since at first glance they look like a lot of information all of the sudden :)
The graphics are beeeautiful! And the game is fun! Really good entry, congratulations!
Graphics are really nice! The audio is well chosen too, love the music. Although it is kind of repetitive after a while, it was a fun experience! Keep up the good work! ^__^
Nice game, wish it was more completed! Music really added personality. But I really wanted to shoot at something! LOL Keep up the good work!
Really diggin' the visuals! Good work!
Beautiful little game! Seems like it has a lot more work than 48 hs. The cave with the water was great. Congratulations!
Along with the details that were already mentioned, you can keep in mind the contrast (how the background is almost as brighter as the ground/platforms), which is why text is also difficult to read (besides what you've been told already :P). But I still wanted to keep playing which is THE most important feature on a videogame! And you got that. Also, LOVED how many animations the character has. Swimming, falling, looking up...
Also, If I can make a suggestion: I don't know if this was on purpose or not, but I liked that when you pressed down, the character kind of "climbed down" wherever platform he was in. On the tree, doing that felt good, even when I got stuck.
Overall, looks really finished for a 48 hs. game! But it's really really short and, at least to me, presented no challenge at all. That being said, the intro was great. BUT the "room" with the big giant heart was straight AWESOME.
Nice art! I won't repeat what edbadiux said about the physics, but... yeah, THAT :P I would like to see more of this. Had no issues running it on Windows 7 X64.
THIS is incredibly creative. Fun, clever... Truly, congratulations!
Aaaw, I would like to see this more completed to be able to rate it properly, but looks fun!
It's fun and simple.
I could not stop playing until you complete the objective! Great game is really fun! The only annoying are the enemies, stick to the player more than in KungFu Master.
Looks BEAUTIFUL! And the concept is gret too! As other said, I would like to see the rotating feature.
Great game! Disappointing lack of ending :(
Gameplay is really cool. I would like to use WASD keys too! Music is kind of repetitive after a while. Keep up the good work!
It's fun! But kind of made me wish it wasn't so meme based!
LOVE the art style! The whole world you managed to create, it's truly amazing. Worked slow on Opera, but tried it on Chrome and it was good. And the character was attractive to play with! Grabbing to the walls, running (I remember seeing your postmortem post and the little sketch animation keyframes were lovely) Overall, stunning work, congratulations!
Drove me completely crazy, hahaha! It's really innovative AND fun. Love the mood too.
You don't have an idea how fun and hard this is when your natural language is not english. I'm sure some parts of my brain melted. Good game!
Good game, it does tuns out a little repetitive after a while, but I enjoyed it.
Short but fun! The clouds were lovely. But maybe I didn't feel the idea of the theme "Tiny World". Keep up the good work!
My PC (¡Intel i5!) slowed down a lot! But only when the "middle/center" island was shown, the one just below where you begin (I'm using Opera). Otherwise, AWESOME graphics and mood. Absolutely loved the glitches and made me want to keep going to see what would happen when I ated all of the bad boxes. Good job!
THE most humorous game so far. The graphics helped and are really good AND funny (the tiny people waving their little arms). Stops at the right moment, when gameplay maaaybe starts getting repetitive, but I actually wanted to see more dialogs :) Pleaaaase make a big massive version of this.
At first I wasn't all over the gameplay or idea, but when I got to the Round 2 (and got more than 10 ants or so), the idea of an Army of Ants seemed really awesome. Good job!
Cutest art style ever! Lovely idea, you should continue it after the Ludum. Our game is space/astronaut based too! Check it out if you have some time!
Simple and nice game. I love night transition.
Nice job! is a good game... I loved to find a shop at the South Pole
Suberb graphics. Just as they are, they could be an MTV advertising or the "visuals" of a DJ set. Really nice. For some reason, I just kept thinking in Wipeout while playing. Not a bad thing, I love Wipeout.
Audio = Great. Period.
Wished it had another controls/keyboard option. Mouse didn't feel so good for some reason (to me, at least). I can totally see this game at the XBOX or PSN Network! I would like to see it complete, had troubles with the first obstacles. And needed a visual aid to know what killed me, the fade didn't help. Keep up the great work! n_n
CUTE game!
Really fun game! As said by others, more sound variety would've been great. I thought that the realistic water didn't match the fishes, but it didn't bothered me when playing.
Good job! Like how the character could make a Double Jump! Change weapons too. That was really neat. The audio was repetitive, adding music would have been great (I know time probably didn't let you!) I could see this as a whole game that develops inside the human body or something like that, overall seems really really solid and complete.
Kudos for the music! Game is fun too :) Congratulations!
I was about to complain about not working on Opera, but I saw that you already knew that :) Nevemind, I switched to Firefox just to play your game and it was really worth it! Congratz! Love the graphics!
Feels very Zelda like! But with a notable ZOOM OUT :P I really enjoyed it! Can you imagine an MMORPG like this? LOL!
Extra HARD, lol. But it's really challenging that way, and fun. I thought of this as an old school Indiana Jones/Uncharted/Pitfall series. I didn't get past level 3, but it's a nice work!
Ok. Not my cup of tea.
I liked it! Our entry it's kind of artsy too. I feel like this one probably needs a more clear objective. Good soundtrack!
LOL fun. But took a while to load! Loved the sounds, have you thought of making some kind of musical pinball? I wanted to keep playing more!
I just had to finish this one, it's great. I was about to give up, but that "Okay, last one", made it :P I didn't find too much of "Tiny World" in it, but who cares? Congratulations!
I just saw your "Postmortem" post, caught my attention the bits about animation... the art you managed to create it's awesome, I think it's pretty unique. Needs some polishing, and touches maybe, but it's great.
Why you had to make a game so addictive? I mean, I probably saw some other games before of this kind of puzzle genre. But this one, I just had to finish it. Looks great and "cool", the sounds just work accordingly. As someone mentioned, they were some collision bugs, but luckily the restart key was close. Good job!
Graphics are stunning but at first it was REALLY confusing! But nevermind, overall is great. Concept, GUI, audio... Congratulations!
A few bugs, but looks great. Love the rotating world, nothing to envy to a Super Mario Galaxy! Could be improved (character design, but in 48 hs. it's obviously understandable!) It's super cute and loved the effects (the sunshine, blurry focus on the objects, etc.)
Loooove how you handled the concept and the graphics. Our entry has the same "Tiny World" idea of "relationships" and stuff like that. And we are from Argentina, so it's fun to see how in France there's also this "Oh, it's a small world idea"... Anyway congratulations!
I really like the concept and the art style! It's great! Nice job!
Cool graphics, good music and lovely action buttons
Impressive graphics! BEWARE OF THE GIANT SNAIL!
The screen had too much height for me, so I had to scroll up and down a little bit. The idea is good, although it did confused me! So much to read :P Music was retro but relaxing AND the main theme it's the greatest thing I've ever heard so far.
Just great! Lovely NES tribute too! But really t
Just great! Lovely NES tribute too! But really tiny!
Overall is nice, but needs improving! Actually I wanted to keep going, too bad it didn't had an ending! Personally I didn't like the word "SUN" there. Was that supposed to be that way or you ran out of time? Either way, it's not bad. Keep up the good work!
Truly fun game! Sometimes I got a little bit confused, but I loved the size of the screen and graphics too. Maybe the explosions didn't match the overall style, but it's a minor detail.
I did not find this fun enough to play it again and listen how the lyrics change, and did not exactly knew if I was winning, losing or the stage was ending. But I did really dig the minimalistic graphic style! And well, the audio it's unbeatable awesomentastical. I had to create a word to express myself, since it's really that good. +1 for the idea!
Needs audio, but the animations are great!
Music was really good, and I really like how it seemed like you created so much world in so little time, characters, tilesets, etc. Good work!
Oooh, shame it crashes on that red door, but the idea seems good. Keep working on it! Maybe upload a fixed version?
Beautiful color palette and good sound effects. Destroy the ground is a great detail.
Truly nice! Really surprised at level 6 and on, with the little twists/variants of the puzzles. Loved the graphics. Overall looks really solid and polished.
The only thing that made me kind of indifferent, is the "SCAPE" logo since is kind of lacking the whole "happy mood" that the game has (colorful and cute). But it's just a little suggestion, don't worry!
I don't think it's my type of game, but other users really seem to enjoy it :) I liked the sounds, the graphics worked good too! I think the tutorial could be presented in a more "playable" and didactic way.
Great sound effects, funnn!
Fun game, although the screen it's a little too tiny! But well, it's supposed to be a TINY world, isn't it? ;)
Some camera problems, but GREAT entry! It does have a "Spore" feel in it, hehe. Congratulations!
Check out game if you have time to spare! :P
Won't gonna lie to you. Graphics could be... better. But sound is good and gameplay is fun, but needs improvements! Keep up the good work!
Really dig the graphics! It's not exactly fun, feels most like an interactive tribute more than a videogame, but that also makes it really special and emotional. Cheers for your son! Wonder how this would be with more work on it :)
LOL at the ending. Cute little game! You should keep doing more levels, right now it's kind of short! I liked how you have to be precise on each jump, that added some challenge. I'm using Opera, works great, but no sound at all.
At first I was like: "Meh!", but then I saw the Godzillas :) Great graphics, but the gameplay can be improved. The font was really hard to read. Keep up the good work!
Fun game! Kind of easy, but just because as not having a visible score, I didn't care too much about getting all the fruits. There was this "jump to jump" platform, in which you have to follow certain rythim to reach it... was challenging, I liked that one! Oh, and the visuals are a unique pixelart variant, really nice.
I want to smash more stuff! Quite fun!
Forget about art style, the wholesome holy glory of this game is the audio. Sir, your audiousiousness (???) it's quite impressive. When you finish a level, and in the "Lava level", the song was a great choice, if you didn't make it yourself. The Sexy Dance bonus, the level select option... I absolutely had NO expectation about this one, LOL. Glad I found a surprise. Keep that witty humour! I would like to see this with better art style: AND BY THAT I MEAN KEEPING IT SILLY, but more refined, as in the lines and borders being of the same anchor, as an example.
Truly fun and addictive! Good work! Glad I stumble upon this one.
Some graphics didn't blend "in" together, like they belong to different styles. But overall, I liked it. Good work!
Maybe the controls have some issues (as other users said, mouse speed, etc.). But despise that, I like the idea! Love "metroidvania" games and yours is good. I hope to see more of it!
My score is 101. It's fun! Weapons are fun too, BUT... the controls suit more a game like Micromachines than a shooter! Overall is really good.
The audio it's good! I like the graphics too. Needs a tutorial (our entry needs one too, we kind of suck at explaining stuff :P), but it's still fun!
Creative idea! Kudos for Carl Sagan, LOL!
Wow, I think it's a pretty unique entry, specially once you leave the house! LOL Good work!
Love the references! The humor too. And the ART it's amazing, congratulations!
In gameplay didn't drive me crazy, but it was good and I feel like it has a lot of potential! Graphics are stunning as they are, I liked them. But I had to install a bunch of stuff to play!
It looks good but gravity does not work well and I could not kill anything, my shots were not effective
The idea es great, the art is very cool (although I'd like the character have more animations). Made me wonder how it will feel with sound. Maybe a visual aid or tutorial on how you can combine or match the mirrors would be great, because there was a point in which I was just randomly jumping and trying luck. But just as it is I can totally see it in the future as an AppStore game or something like that. Overall looks really taken care of, the color palette is really attractive and sets a really nice mood. And the character is simply adorable. Hope to see more of this!
It's pretty and fun! But maybe I've seen TOO many Mario mixes, remixes, alternative and pararell universes games :P
Mood of this game will be incredibly high, haha. It's seriously great and gameplay is good too.
For a 48 HS. game, this is awesome. Needs a little bit of polishing, but I love it. Reminded me of the old DOS game, "Abuse", but with a mix of "Contra". You have to keep working on it after the Ludum!
Each world is awesome! Overall, beautiful game. It's really polished.
Multiplayeeer! Haven't tried it with other players yet, but I'll totally do. It's really fun, congratulations.
Fun and difficult! Love the weapons! I died mostly because of my clumpsyness at jumping sometimes. Art is good too. Good job! Seems fit for a mobile device!
Music is nice. Graphics work, but could be improved. At first is REALLY confusing, even when I won I think I didn't know quite why, lol. Keep working on it! Seems totally cool for a mobile device maybe ;)
Loved the fall surprise "twist"! I liked the risky jumps!
Needs more work I think, but seems good! Keep working on it!
At first I didn't see what I was, I thought I was the planet (¿?) and when I finally realize it and killed both ships with 2 seconds left, I died! Anyway it's way too polished for a 72 hs. game, graphics are awesome. Congratulations!
Some issues with the controls, like the idea and music.
A bit hard, nice though.
My eeeeyes, haha. Unbeatable concept of Tiny World! This is the second time I play, first time I didn't realize anything happening on the tab. When I did, I just read the stuff, but didn't pay attention to the favicon. Luckily I read the comments. Perhaps you could change the background of the favicon to black! It would also make sense, since the browser remains black too ;) Cheers!
I loved it! The graphics are awesome!
Graphics are really cute and dialogs are good AND interesting, which is key with such an amount as this!
Rally beautiful visuals you got here! Overall, fun and well made. Good job!
Really addictive mini game! At first glance I was confused about what I had to do, or if I had to use the keys. Even if it was a Pacman labyrinth style. But don't worry, turned out more enjoyable than all that :)
Love the music too! Good job!
I died a hundred times. I like the concept but felt a little lost retrying all.
At first glance, confusing, but after that, a gameplay with the same characteristics as the graphics: AWESOME. I still have to play it with some friend, to truly test it! ;)
Hard, fun and short
Doesnt open on windows 8 x64 :(
Ooow, I don't have an Android phone to test this one. Looks good anyway :)
Really nice idea, love the whistling bit and the overall happy mood (it's Tiny Tim people, impossible not to be joyful and happy). Kind of repetitive, but I didn't mind :)
This game doesn't work :(
Pixelart Chtulhu is always a win.
Really funny game! I'dont know if it was only on my PC (using latest Opera browser), but when I charged the attack, just before releasing it, it would freeze 1 second or 2. This happened randomly.
Unbeatable dialogs, this is great. I would like to see more of this! With some more "point & click" old school action, of course. To spice things up! :P Good work either way!
The theme and art are really good! Liked it. Using Windows 7, so no problems here.
A little lonely when I tried it. It is VERY difficult to control but looks good!
I was stuck in the sand world. Cute game, it's a shame there's no animations.
AMAZING work. Your time management is impressive.
It looks beautiful and is fun to play. I found no connection with the theme and attack seems to be totally useless, I could not kill anything.
It's super short but really enjoyed them. I love the humor.
Cute game, I would have to hire more staff. The quit button ruined game several times.
I could not find the killer, it seems really impossible to do it in 20 seconds
I liked it, but left me wondering if weather or nature can count as a weapon or not :P
Quite fun, keep up the good work!
We liked it, but... how did you come up with such title?? hahha!
Fun game! :) Super difficult last seconds!
@Pickens Inc. @bigbuggames @axoona @Mase @reiknight @Pierrec @cbstegman: THANKS! ^_^
Actually, the game mechanics were never really meant to be a puzzle. The idea is that the game would look "alive". The lever is the tool used to make the characters die as many times as possible, because doing so, somehow satisfies the monster that controls the server.
I saw a lot of times the Game Over screen, the friction of platforms and instant death by falling of them makes the game too difficult. Beyond that is a beautiful, polished and fun game!
Attack animation is amazing. Great entry, polished and fun!
I really want more of this. Cuteness overload.
Good art, good music, great entry. Congratulations!
Incredible amount of work done in 48 hours. Well done!
It's probably the game where more wood and skulls flying through the air :D
I liked the idea, and the graphics were nice!
Superb atmosphere. Great entry!
Very fun game!
Small, beautiful, depressing. I loved it.
Was kinda hard to understand the objective at first, but then I catched on! I liked the graphics :)
I liked the atmosphere, the gameplay is somewhat repetitive but kept me hooked
hahah pretty sick, but fun for a while :)
GREAT PICO8-micro-GTA-style game!
This is the most destructive game I played so far in Ludum Dare 33: P
Great intro and graphics! I would like to see more variety of enemies. :)
590 was my maximum score!
Love the music, but it has no relation at all with the "one room" theme LOL!
I can really see this game in a mobile device. Altough it felt slow, I enjoyed the feedback. I liked it!
(Why can't I vote for the Audio?? :( )
Good thing that Chrome loaded this! I dig the style and the progression. BUT mid playthrough, Chrome crashed :( Anyway, congratulations! Fun game!
Awesome job, loved it!
It was not THAT engaging, I'm afraid, but nice game overall!
