Thank you for your feeback!
There are a lot of things that we know could be done a lot better, that includes level design. Thank you very much for that link, we will have a good read there :)

Thank you for your feedback!
Glad you enjoyed the art work! We are very aware of the "strangeness" of the physics and that is something we are absolutely adressing before LD24.
Its been a long time since I appreciated an old school looking game like this. Movement is fluid, collision is thight, and I felt a strong urge to just complete the level is was on. The per level respawns are a great addition to the game. Kudos for being able to complete such a standard of a game to this contest!
@CherryNukeCola: Particleeffects are indeed on the large scale. interesting concept, nevertheless I would want more incentive for the player to complete the objectives.
Thanks for the comments guys! You CAN restart the game by hitting the "R" key. It says so on the very first hint on level 1, but I guess it is not obvious :)
I could not get past the intro-screen. I tried all the keys on my keyboard and mouse, but it would not let me play.
Good take on the theme. Bit hard game to play. I believe the difficulty ramps up too quickly. Having a more slower introduction to colors and enemies would make the game more enjoyable. I like it though!
Good concept, but I do not see how this fits with the theme.
Good game mechanics, and it seems like there has been done a lot of thinking to design interesting levels.
Good concept. Could not get past 2nd level...
Good graphics, good controls. unfortunately the game crashes for me after the 3rd teleportation. I would like to see more of this game.
The controls were a bit sluggish, and the physics needs some work. It also bugged out at the end, where I simply started on the top of the level and could simply jump down to the missing pixel and win the game.
Unique visual style and game style, actually got me playing quite some time. Nice to have stories in these "short" games! Missing more instructions in-game on how to actually use menus. Some sound and more instructions would have made it even better. Link to the theme is a long stretch ;)
I really liked this one. Very original take on the theme.
Had some trouble playing it. Since it brought up dialog boxes with "Ok", I kept pressing enter which was also interaction. Eventually I got a crash saying:
ERROR in
action number 1
of Step Event
for object obj_dooropen:
Error in code at line 8:
if place_meeting(obj_player.x,obj_player.y,obj_mum)
^
at position 34: Unknown variable x
Nice gfx, gets hard a bit too fast.
Enjoyed the graphics, but it got abit monotonous walking around.
Feels abit slow moving around. Could also use some indicator on where you are while jumping (soaring)
