* AchooBoxes * (OSX) by anthonyl 2010-12-20T02:41:00
right now there are 6 levels, I didn't get support for large level sizes in until the last hour of the compo so only levels 5-6 are of decent size...

thanks, I just figured out how to fix it too.. sorry that last bit was pretty rushed,
I'm going to do a Jam version that's got some improvements
I put a updated version here: http://www.player2.mobi/LD19_PLATFORM_FIXED.zip
with a nice flashlight effect
source is uploading to my server now
and linked
I replacted the _FIXED jam version with, it supports both 32 and 64bit intel now..
merlin:MacOS anthonyl$ file ./LD19_PLATFORM
./LD19_PLATFORM: Mach-O fat file with 3 architectures
merlin:MacOS anthonyl$
i've build is universal, I should have a new binary up shortly I'm making some small changes to the JAM version before it ends
fixed and updated, enjoy.. I really wish i had more time to work on levels at the moment they need a lot of touching up and adding sound effects... but that's just the nature of the compo/jam
increpare, be sure to try the new version it contains many fixes.. thanks :)
Just finished the windows build and uploaded it.
Whoops on the unit auto naming.. you can if you wish rename units with the rename command
as for the epic damage you can use a scout (which can evade enemy damage) and a defender class to tank and hit before sending in units with a low defense bonus..
this is the first game I've written like this so theres a bit of tweaking that still needs to be done
also I'd like to say thanks for playing my game =D
pierrec, oh lame! sorry about that this is actually my first game-ish web-based project so some bugs were unavoidable .. learning how to structure javascript and esp. prototypes ..etc also ate up a lot of time and forced me to cut down on the scope as well sadly by the time I had my scene management and event handing system fully figured out there wasn't much time left to complete the traveling/harvesting systems or add some much needed style and art :/
but rest assured I'm building on this initial concept to make something really fun and engaging that you will get to try out
<3 !
Whoops i screwed submitting, should be ok now
Ya i'm not sure why it's not displaying .. added links here

thesunnyk, I def agree on the additional constraints
also I was only allowing color switching after you jump onto a block rather then just touching it from the side
> like don't put a block on top of a block until the "level" below is full. The concept is a neat idea though.
could be really cool .. i think i'll throw it in .. i've also been playing by making the grid much less wide which makes it a bit cooler as well
one note, the jam version of this game dose have a bug with the matching code
since I'm using this project to learn up sdl2.0 i'll be throwing it up on github in the next week or so and add some audio and such .. i'll throw up a link here once that happens
I really like your art style!
Nope, it's build in release mode sadly you need to the visual c++ 2013 runtime
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=40784
I'll see if i can rebuild and statically link them once i get home from work

yup i totally agree on the strafing .. I managed to get a mouse/keyboard scheme going in this right after the jam deadline and couldn't submit it .. a duel stick controller would totally be best .. maybe next time!!! :)
also you game looks cool i'm going to try it out
nicejob pretty fun
fun and kind of wacky, i like it a lot
the wall is way overpowered
