It would be nice if there was more progression or if the win condition was more telegraphed.

It would be nice if there was more progression or if the win condition was more telegraphed.
Like the space hulk style gameplay. More polish would have made it really cool.
More HUD stuff would be nice. A fast forward button would also be nice. Ants are cute.
Good interpretation of the theme. The graphics seemed a bit inconsistent; the fire was detailed and in-focus and the trees and character were blurred out. Some animation might have given this more weight.
The controls were difficult, especially with a ring of fire around everything. It was very rigid.
No win or lose condition really took away from the feeling of it being a game. It would have been better if it auto reset after death (since you die a lot), if the next button didn't work regardless of win or lose, and if there was some sort of end.
Fun game, very fast but it's entertaining. Might be worth noting that ladders seem to make you fly! Really nice soundtrack and cute sense of humour.
Had fun at first, but that jump makes you feel like you're out of control. Good soundtrack, but the piston sound is too loud for how often it is played.
Jumping over the beetle was too temperamental to be fun, though.
Fun game. Never figured out how to upgrade the town or show that I killed the shark. Ended up going into the endless depths to be alone :).
Nice complete little game. Wasn't immediately apparent I had to click on the hearts, music notes, and flowers generated onscreen to get more points. I originally thought I could mix the three states for more happiness, but gameplay proved that was wrong. Really upbeat music track! Looked super professional. Once I figured out the gameplay I think I could have played forever, so maybe you could work on balance a bit, or have an end-state after a certain amount of time that reads, "you have control over your depression!" or something.
It doesn't feel like it's a affirmative, life giving, experiential game. It was frantic and stressful. The graphics are amazing.
I assume the audio is bugged and the static isn't intentional. The water level goes up too fast and the main action of the game isn't fun.
Those green fish were too hard. Enemies could have used shading and more than one frame of animation. Some music would have benefited the mood a lot. Some kind of health pickup would have been good and would have offset the war of attrition I had with the green fish.
Overall, the game is fun and the pixel art style is cool. The writing was very good. A lot of content for a 48 entry.
Interesting. Shark fighting game is a cool concept; the controls were a bit frustrating and it was hard to damage the other player. We died from the mines and getting both stuck in a corner.
The narrative was a bit weird and meandered a lot before getting to the actual game. More gameplay, less self-indulgence.
Like the attempt at atmosphere; the music was good. The controls were way too floaty and non-responsive, the game was too difficult and the graphics had resolution issues.
Generally, the graphics definitely could have used a second pass with unifying in mind. Liked the rope effect.
"you died."
But nice dynamic lighting.
Well polished game, but all the fast arrow pressing let me kinda cold. Maybe with a limited amount of moves?
Sculpting was a good theme. Matching the picture was a nice play idea, but there was some UI issues (overlapping the play area), textures were a bit boring.
Interesting puzzle game. Strong mechanic. A bit too random at times; rate of gain for the different parts was difficult to glean.
Music was good... and then became annoying over time. Something more background-y and less do DO do DO do DO might have been nicer. But very impressive piece of music nonetheless.
Moving debris/star field was distracting. Also, pacing of the game felt too fast.
Overall, the game was good and seemed tres polished.
Beautiful!
Good music, funny story, gameplay needs a bit of work. No Trump hair.
An attempt at an old-school adventure game, while a good beginning, the commands were a little bit inconsistent and confusing at times.
A few of the rooms where you simply die/lose as soon as you enter, is a bit discouraging. Could also use descriptive text when entering an area with more directions and hints with which commands might be applicable.
Typing help was a shortcut to valid action, which eliminates some of the old school discovery.
It was a good idea, but so hard to control. He kept changing shape by himself as soon as he collided with walls.
Looks great, super polished. Plays well. Music and sounds and menus are good.
Would be more fun without 1 hit kills. Did not make it far.
Good tutorial. Very colourful. Cool music. It would have been more fun if I could have ever tracked down the element I was supposed to kill before I could shape change. My high score was 2 :P
Fun geo wars clone. Looks great.
Super fun coloring game! So pretty.
Good animation, super on theme, fun to turn demons into rats and squish them!
Some of the platforming was a bit masocore.
Great music!
The level of polish of the overall game was quite high. The fact that there was a menu and a consistent end screen was really nice.
The fact that collecting was on-beat was super!
The screen pulsing was distracting and caused a bit of motion sickness.
Funny voice clips. Had fun playing it.
Great entry! Enjoyed the hyper-kinetic twin shooter feeling.
Pretty simple game. Nice music! Had fun shaking the mouse to die a lot to make it into a music video experience.
Really pretty. Nice style.
Pretty solid entry. Hard in the adventure puzzle way.
Cool game. A bit hard >_<. Very polished graphics. Great take on theme.
nice music
