There is something here, the concept is good but I don't think you executed it well enough. For the feedback that the player gets, it would have been better to simply click on the roots, instead of having to drag the spheres.
Alternativelly, you could make it so that the player has to drag the sphere along the trunk in order to deliver the water, and decrease the speed with which the water over-flows. That way you have a clearer agency.
They way you did it makes it feel as though you are doing more work that it's worth.

Very nice graphics. I get a lot of scratch noise, don't know if it is on purpose.
I was hoping nice flowers or fruits on my tree as final gift ^^
It doesn't feel like it's a affirmative, life giving, experiential game. It was frantic and stressful. The graphics are amazing.
I assume the audio is bugged and the static isn't intentional. The water level goes up too fast and the main action of the game isn't fun.
The art was really nice, though the gameplay itself got a little repetitive for me after a while. It'd be neat to see it expanded a bit, maybe with where you place the collected water affecting the tree's growth or water collection in some way.

I love the concept and the art. The controls are a bit annoying. I think clicking the spheres would have been better. Also there is a very annoying noise ever 3 seconds...

Great idea, but I think the gameplay should have had some kind of more mechanic.. Also the sound was quite annoying :)
