Disregard All Humans by Fireblend 2012-04-23T05:17:00

Yeah, the dinosaur could have been animated better, but I really am no designer, and that's what I managed to come up with that looked remotely like a dinosaur :P I agree it might look that way with the planet getting smaller, but technically even if you grew 10 times your size I don't think you'd see the objects in the sky as if they were any bigger :P Thanks for your thoughts! :D

Disregard All Humans by Fireblend 2012-04-23T05:22:00

Yeah, I worried if I scaled them as well they'd look too small by the time the dinosaur was double or triple his original size, not to mention the humans would also have to be shrinked. I wonder how that would've looked ;) thanks for your thoughts!

Disregard All Humans by Fireblend 2012-04-23T16:23:00

Thanks for the report Raptor85; I hadn't had a chance to test it on 64bit Linux yet, and as you explained on the IRC chat there seems to be an issue with getting that working... I added a notice to the game description.

Disregard All Humans by Fireblend 2012-04-23T21:50:00

Claro, soy de Costa Rica :)

The Good Ship Higgs Boson by Jezzamon 2012-04-27T03:38:00

Awesome entry! Great mood with the dialogue, controls are fantastic and the gravity-modifying mechanic is impressive. Thanks for making this!

The Tourist by FunkyDelPueblo 2012-04-25T14:09:00

Slow beginning (although I'm not sure if it was my browser's fault, time seemed to go by slowly), but I really like the concept and I think it was a really good interpretation of the theme.

Save the tiny world! by davidllanos22 2012-04-24T04:22:00

Fun little game, nicely done!

Le Petit by Pixelulsar 2012-04-23T06:40:00

It's as frustrating as it's good-looking, it's a good thing it has checkpoints, but some of the jumps are maddeningly hard, I'm not sure if I even made it half way through before quitting in frustration! :)

9Lives by TheGamingProject 2012-04-26T00:03:00

Haha, that was fun. Nice music, mood, and the action moving around the screen for different scenes with different gameplay was really cool and clever. I really enjoyed this!

Petri by Tomalla 2012-05-01T01:25:00

Really enjoyable! Loved the controls and how much of a story you managed to cram in there. Nice!

Asylum by Orni 2012-04-25T15:21:00

Fantastic. A shame it didn't have music or sound, but nonetheless I think this is easily among my favorites. You nailed the theme, and the mood was simply amazing. I really liked how you had to move the camera to catch some of the dialogue lines, and the character movement responded to the controls so well I almost keep wishing I had a bigger space to move around in. I'm a sucker for pixel art as well, and this is one extremely beautiful game. Thanks for making this!

The First Frontier by Nickardson 2012-04-23T05:07:00

This is fun, although I kept trying to use the arrow keys instead of s and d, and it wasn't very clear to me how I got past the first level at first (although maybe that was my fault :P)

Flight of the Ladybug by robcozzens 2012-05-01T17:27:00

Fun, neat and very simple! I guess some mechanics could be added to make it a little more complex such as obstacles, but the consistency of what you got made make up for that. Good job!

Miniature Worlds by Markavian 2012-04-25T20:51:00

Pretty good! Played it on my Nexus S and it worked flawlessly. It looks good, and if I only had a better understanding of what it is I want and how to make it happen I think that'd make this game much better; for now it looks like a toy because I spend my time trying to force one of the biomes to change in appearance without really understanding what each of my actions does.

The Big Run by Saymon Fake 2012-04-26T03:40:00

Made it to 586 :D quick fun, and simple/neat graphics! I thought the music was a nice touch; the only complaint from me is that the death sound was too abrupt, almost jumped out of my chair! :P

Empty by Tim Bumpus 2012-04-23T20:44:00

Controls are definitely a bit awkward, but hey, I made it about half way through the puzzle!

Nanobot Rescue Team by Hegemege 2012-04-25T01:41:00

Really great! The music was a bit repetitive and the sounds maybe a bit annoying, but the controls were really tight, and the animation and general gameplay fluid as hell. Good job!!!

Tiny Shards by Gabriel 2012-04-25T03:52:00

Wow!! Really blown away by this! I don't think I've rated a game so well in all areas - fun (controls were just right), innovation (the passage of time and recycling the stages was brilliant!), the shards thing really fit with the theme, the graphics and audio were enjoyable, and wow at the amount of significance and story you were able to pack into the game in such a short amount of time. This could very well be my favorite so far. Outstanding work!

Hungry Ants by Dew 2012-05-01T01:56:00

Out of all ant-related games in the compo, this one might be my favorite :D I wasn't too sure of how to feed the queen, however; my food counter never seemed to go past 0. Playing with the design of your nest was pretty cool though, and the graphics are superb. Nicely done.

Nineties Holywood Hacker by Casino Jack 2012-05-01T01:08:00

Had lots of fun with this entry. Some thoughts:

> Recharging your health should be cheaper, if not free
> Making sure enemies don't spawn too near the exits would be good so I don't get killed as soon as I enter a room
> Some pieces looked like they would fit on the puzzle but the game wouldn't let me put them there... I'm not sure if I was missing some rule.

Either way, amazing job!

Tinysasters by Volute 2012-04-23T04:46:00

Very enjoyable, although I was a bit overwhelmed at first :P great job!

Skydef by FrederickK 2012-04-26T03:47:00

I really liked the music, reminds me of a Kirby game! The design of the game is consistent and cute, although yeah, it does seem nonsensical without the context that the post-compo version provides. Also liked character movement in general, good job :)

Tiny Crash Landing by Ranoka 2012-05-05T22:48:00

Hey there, I was curious about the source, but it turns out it's only the swf wrapped in a .zip. Where's the actual source code for the game?

Tiny Island Adventure by AdventureIslands 2012-05-01T02:37:00

Very nicely done; loved the polished graphics!

Copulous by keely 2012-04-26T01:41:00

Hahahaha, hilarious! Even the music fits perfectly. And the damn controls! Nicely done :D

Tiny Timmy and Big Bill by OmarShehata 2012-05-01T17:08:00

Wow, brilliant! The controls were a bit difficult to get right, but after I managed to rewire my brain for it, I had lots of fun. Great!

Fusion Time! by NeiloGD 2012-04-25T01:44:00

Great concept! The graphics were nice, and I could see this working a lot better if the influence of the strong force were a bit more... strong :P great job!

The Traveler by Thotor 2012-04-25T14:04:00

Great concept! I found the shaking mechanic to be very original, and the whole game to be incredibly entertaining! My only gripe was the jumping, it could have been a little more "floaty" to make it feel better, but that really doesn't matter when the bulk of the game is in the shaking mechanic. Nicely done!

Tiny Contamination, well almost by demogia 2012-04-26T03:53:00

This is actually pretty fun! Nice and clean visuals, straightforward and yet responsive controls, good selection of music, a title and game over screen, good sound feedback, and I liked the heal mechanic and animation. Good job! :)

Walker by Catman 2012-04-25T04:21:00

Music was a bit repetitive and controls were a bit clunky, but the idea of having all those signs come to life (and so many of them!) more than made up for that. Great job!

Snow Globe by Syawra 2012-04-25T14:29:00

Heh, this is the second game I see today whose interpretation of the topic has something to do with snowglobes. I wasn't sure how to get the meteors destroyed though, and being able to move in both directions would have made it much better!

1625 by voidah 2012-04-25T05:08:00

That got really hard, really fast! It was fun, and it got me scrambling for extra "students" really quick :P good job!

Polarity by nornagon 2012-04-30T00:48:00

Wow, seriously fun! I think this game probably has the most imaginative mechanic I've seen in any compo entry that just works and doesn't need anything added or removed; great job! Had lots of fun and played through the whole thing. I'll be passing this around :D

Run, Unicorn, Run! by fprawn 2012-05-01T16:05:00

The windows port didn't work for me (the world seems to be spinning out of control or something) :( too bad, I wanted to try it.

Joe The Alien by coolo 2012-04-25T02:51:00

Great one! I loved the 2.5d perspective, and although it was short, there was enough variation with the spikes, the enemy ladybugs and the spring-mushrooms to keep me playing. Good job! A platformer by-the-book, but nicely executed. Keep it up!

Cage by epicSpeedTurtle 2012-04-26T04:10:00

Haha, that was sweet and fun. I did look at the comments beforehand so I knew what to do, but I thought it was pretty well implemented, and it fits the theme really well. Good job!

Bugs by schizofunky 2012-05-01T17:01:00

Nice game! I wish there was some way other than memory to know how much every "detector" moves (maybe a rail on the roof from which they move or something) so I could do a little more planning on where to stand. Other than that, great job!

Recluse by chambers 2012-04-27T03:32:00

Really clever mechanic you've got going there! Impressive, to say the least. Good job! :D

Crash Effect by koredozo 2012-04-25T05:03:00

Quick and simple fun! The music and the graphics were entertaining, and although it was simple, the main mechanic worked well and controls weren't terrible (although if speed went past some threshold it got really hard to maneuver my ship). Good job!

Lost Oxide by SidetrackGames 2012-04-24T13:04:00

Nice! I loved the splash screen where your mouse was used as a light source :) the graphics are great, and the controls are incredibly tight! Walljumping was pretty sweet :D

Rob this tiny world! by neocrey 2012-04-26T04:23:00

Great game! I like the concept, and the controls and general handling of the character is pretty solid :) the music is nice as well, and it can get really hard! It probably would have been much better with more than only one stage though, and just variations in placement of the money. Good job!

There is a Picture by MortisGhost 2012-04-23T13:05:00

This is great! The music and mood seriously reminds me of the Mother games.

Microscopia by azurenimbus 2012-05-13T23:57:00

It got pretty difficult really fast, but it's nonetheless a brilliant game and a pretty well executed concept, even with the very simplistic graphics. Unlike other comments, I wouldn't say its repetitiveness is a bad thing; the difficulty curve might be steep, but that's part of its appeal. Great job!

Lililput by Incredible Ape 2012-04-28T03:19:00

Hah, this turned out to be way more frustrating than I thought it would be. Haha, good job!

Planet Grab by zzzev 2012-04-28T03:34:00

Its strength lies in its simplicity, and I think it can be significantly expanded without sacrificing that; for example an "accelerate" button would have made it better so that accurate shots could be taken at close proximity, but then there would have to be some threat so that using it poses a risk. Good job!

Conquer Pico Worlds by Zaxuhe 2012-04-28T03:12:00

It's fun and a good idea, but the website's background made my eyes hurt and I think I quit because of it rather than the game. Still, good job!

Claustrophobia by emongev 2012-04-24T04:44:00

Loved the narrative aspect! The ending was a bit unexpected, but then again I guess it allows for expanding upon it later, so it was probably a good call leaving it like that and not going for an abrupt nonsensical ending just for the sake of having one. Good job! I love the pixelated graphics and the consistent look of the game. Controls could've been a bit tighter, specially in the second level (got a bit frustrated there), but it was a generally good experience overall :D

Particle Drop by lordmatthoffman 2012-04-26T03:01:00

Nicely done! The graphics were simple, but I really liked them! The concept is pretty simple as well, but it's evident that gave you lots of time to focus on polishing the look and feel of the game. The lack of music is also pretty noticeable, but that only means I don't have to turn down the volume on my music player :P Good job!

Serendipity with Cubes by halogenica 2012-04-26T03:14:00

Really fun and enjoyable! There aren't enough 3D puzzle games in the world, and this is a great step in the right direction :D I also had issues understanding how the game worked, but after figuring it out it was pretty fun. My only other gripe is the fact that the "cube selection" sound was too annoying; specially if I'm supposed to click many cubes to create a path, it felt like a punishment more than something I should want to do. Really clean and appealing visuals, and a very nice control scheme. Great job!

a little place. by startling 2012-04-24T05:43:00

That was fun! Although I'm not sure if I reached the end or my game got stuck midway through it. Good job! I like the simplified strategy game approach :D

Full Metal Planetoid by pom 2012-05-01T16:41:00

Fun to play with, but I would call it more a toy than a game. Great job with making destroying planets so satisfactory though!

microchip by DiscoFish 2012-04-26T04:02:00

Really nice graphics and style (even fitting music!), good job with this game, I thoroughly enjoyed it, and there honestly isn't much to criticize :)

Tiny Card World by Pisti 2012-04-29T00:51:00

Pretty cool to see a card game being submitted! I liked the game itself, mainly because it's pretty simple and yet allows for a great deal of strategy. Good job :)

Space Dozer by desmarkie 2012-04-25T14:54:00

Nicely done! A complete and quite fun experience, all in all. It's one of the games I can see myself coming back to! Bookmarked for further playing later :)

To What a Mountain? by cageinabird 2012-05-01T17:15:00

Haha, this was like a not-so-arcadeish and more rude version of my game. Really enjoyed it, great job!

Gale Axile by free_napalm 2012-04-25T02:17:00

Nicely done! The music was a bit repetitive, but it matched the minimalist look and feel of the game so I guess that was ok. It's got a rather steep learning curve though, and although some help was provided through the manual I kept wanting to have the tutorial text somewhere to read instead of having to go through the whole introduction phase which could get a little boring I felt. Once you get into it its fun though, and I like the survival aspect. Really interesting!

Motherboard City by westm 2012-04-26T03:36:00

The jumping was really difficult, due to not being able to discern between the edges of the platforms very well. Plus, the sound used for the jumping got annoying after a while of listening to it all the time. I think the best part is the game's graphics, as they look pretty clean and consistent.

Little World Adventure by firstrowgames 2012-04-24T05:57:00

Cute little toy! I couldn't figure out what to do with the robot-like thing, though! The main character thing is cute, too! Good job :P

Matrix Creatrix by piman 2012-04-25T13:24:00

Steep learning curve (although I think this could be easily fixed with a tutorial of some sort). Nice idea and concept, and there's a lot of room to expand upon! Good job :)

Tinybacterus by Vertigo 2012-04-28T03:15:00

Good, although I would imagine that an antibacteria module wouldn't have a combustion motor for propulsion :P

Pixel MMO by daniel 2012-04-23T06:45:00

Loved it! Played only a bit (could only see two other players), but it was lots of fun. The controls could've been better, and I could see some sort of teams-based gameplay with lots of people online working really well. Good job! :)

Tronster Tiny World by tronster 2012-04-26T04:18:00

Really enjoyed this one! Great concept and mechanics, nice presentation and a good interpretation of the theme. A solid puzzle with a mechanic I'd never seen before. Good job :)

In The Beginning by BenW 2012-04-25T04:38:00

Really liked the concept! Even though it might be a toy right now, I could see it evolving into a pretty fun game. I liked the simplicity of it, and the music was indeed pretty relaxing. Good job!

Predicament by orangepascal 2012-04-23T14:57:00

Short and sweet really is a perfect description for this one :D

Planet Trot by Logan 2012-04-23T04:59:00

Love the way this game looks, controls are a bit weird and collisions (specially with the purple stuff) tend to make the character shake a lot, but damn, I do love moving around in that sphere.

Tiny Worlds by Lidfrid 2012-04-24T04:54:00

Really minimalistic and consistent look, and clever mechanics. A winner in my book :D

The Spaceman by malec2b 2012-04-27T03:50:00

The game didn't crash for me (nor did I get stuck anywhere) but it sure was hard! Good job :) loved the retro look of the game.

Kumiho by Christina Antoinette Neofotistou 2012-04-27T03:14:00

Absolutely *adored* this game. I'm a huge bullet hell shooters fan, and Ikaruga is among my favorites. This is like a beautifully written love letter to that kind of games. Brilliant from start to finish; too bad there's no death animation, that's honestly the only flaw I found. I'm not sure how this fits with the theme, but nicely done.

The Two of Us by ekunkeo 2012-04-28T03:52:00

Incredible art! Really well done, and the music's a perfect fit as well! Loved it, really reminiscing of Cave Story for some reason :)

Planet Life by Sos 2012-04-23T06:12:00

Just brilliant. Definitely among my favorites :D

Circuit by moltanem2000 2012-04-23T04:50:00

Died arbitrarily on my ~third try, but eventually got to the end. Fun little thing!

My Little Planet by NateNaterson 2012-04-23T05:43:00

Great looking game! The controls were a bit awkward (the character "slides" too much, which can lead to frustration), but it looks so good I just want to keep playing. Good job!

Robot in the Garden by Gaeel 2012-04-29T01:04:00

Doesn't feel like much more than a toy, but it's a very beautiful toy for sure! Also, high five for using Love too :D

Hero of Rain by the31 2012-04-23T15:11:00

Loved how simple and yet original the concept/story were; and the controls were just right! Nicely done :D

Spaceman Biff vs The Red Robots by ChainedLupine 2012-04-25T04:52:00

Nicely done! I really really liked going from planet to planet on the spaceship; killing the robots wasn't nearly as fun; but space navigation definitely made up for it :D

Colours in the Void by Benn 2012-04-27T03:04:00

Really fun! And incredibly difficult. I like the nice visuals, and the music feels like a perfect match. Also, loved the level selection screen although for a second I thought it was a loading screen :P

Worlds in Cards by summaky 2012-04-26T04:55:00

Played the game on my Nexus S - really great! I loved the concept and the clean art style, and I concur in that its uniqueness could make it a pretty popular game on the market if eventually polished, expanded upon and published - the card concept could allow for some nifty gameplay mechanics as well, and the blend between puzzle and platformer is very welcome :) Good job!

Cracked by TimBeaudet 2012-04-28T02:52:00

Pretty cool! The music didn't fit the other parts of the game too well though, but it's a pretty fun game :)

Nook by PoV 2012-04-24T05:32:00

Wow, so good looking! Awesome concept with the shrinking as well! The controls were a bit "floaty" though, I felt they could have been much tighter.

doggone by hazzen 2012-04-25T04:57:00

Nice simple aesthetics, and the controls were actually alright :) poor dog though! :(

T in Y World by Tom 7 2012-05-01T01:30:00

Woah, this is insane. Incredible that you could come up with such complexity in such a short amount of time. Congrats!

Haxe Planets by jfroco 2012-05-01T01:48:00

Got a bit frustrating when you had no choice but to either fall back in the level, or crash against an enemy due to not being able to at least stop.

Housefly by dacap 2012-04-27T03:27:00

Really good! I can't seem to find anything to complain about here :P simply brilliant! Good interpretation of the theme, clever solutions, not too long or difficult, and fitting graphics. Audio was maybe a bit too repetitive, but eh, that's being nitpicky. Good job!!

Memento XII by deepnight 2012-04-27T03:23:00

Really nice and definitely one of the most polished games I've seen here! Really good job!

Cube World by FireSlash 2012-04-24T05:37:00

As some people mentioned, the rotation mechanic is very reminiscing of And Yet It Moves. Here it's executed also really well though, and I enjoyed the music!

Brevity by thristhart 2012-04-25T16:25:00

I like the idea! There seems to be lots of room for expanding upon the concept, and I think it's quite original :)

Hamster Bowling by tfendall 2012-05-01T02:09:00

Wow. Just wow. That was uhh... yeah. Good job.

ANT SURF HERO: THE SURFENING by JigxorAndy 2012-04-23T15:24:00

Tight controls, good concept, and although jumping felt a bit floaty, an awesome experience overall in a tight package. Nicely done!

dLeIaFtEh by Cell 2012-04-24T04:09:00

Weird and quirky, I like it!

Scape by intmain 2012-05-01T16:57:00

Simple, clever and really great looking! Thanks for making this! :)

My Little Planetoid by matthias_zarzecki 2012-05-01T17:23:00

Really nice! Loved the concept and the whole atmosphere strung together by the pace and music of the game. Nicely done :D

Audio Land by triplefox 2012-04-26T05:24:00

A little far from the "Tiny World" theme, or being a game, for that matter.. but as a toy/sound generation app it's a pretty cool concept I don't think I've ever seen before. I could see it catching on even as complex as it is, given the right set of tutorials :P good job!

White Cell 2.0 by kamn 2012-04-25T14:19:00

That was fun! And nice looks! I liked having to manage the trade-off between being healed, healing the red cells, destroying the bacteria, etc.. I thought that was a really cool way of adding some complexity and depth to an otherwise simple game. The controls could've been better though, I think acceleration was too high. Also, it could've been nice to see the whole playing field instead of having to constantly patrol through it. Fun nonetheless!

Stellar Nurse by Bleck 2012-04-28T03:08:00

Pretty good! It took me a while to realize what I had to do, even after the explanation (maybe I was a bit sleepy :P) but once I figured it out I had lots of fun. Interesting meld of gameplay mechanics, I really like it! Good job!

Stellar Nurse by Bleck 2012-05-03T02:51:00

You know, now that I was replaying it, it occurred to me that there should be some way to create even bigger planets. Clearing more than the ~10 tiles you usually clear per planet could be very satisfactory, on some sort of time-attack mode.

I'm thinking of some mechanism so that when the 9-tiles-rule is satisfied, the blocks don't disappear right away but allow you to keep on adding pieces for a short period of time that gets renewed which each new piece added to the "planet" (although then I see nothing that could prevent you from just keep pressing space to get all the pieces as the game is now, but I guess that's a matter of being more strict on what qualifies as a planet, or adding more rules for what can be attached to what - maybe based on the color of the tiles or something...)

Anyway, just sharing my thoughts, I hope it says something about how good this game is that I keep coming back to it! ;)

tinyConquest by Galaxy613 2012-04-25T02:26:00

Wow! I honestly didn't expect such a satisfactory experience! Like others have said, the UI confused me during the first few seconds, but soon I figured out what was what I had to do and I think this is easily one of the few games I could see myself playing regularly, and I did kept playing for a pretty good while (actually, the time I had to wait for the next wave to come started being a little bit too long, I think). Definitely one of my favorites, and I can even think of friends I'd recommend this game to (and I will!). Brilliant job!

The Moth and The Menace by vandriver 2012-04-26T02:23:00

Haha, great entry! The graphics were amazing, and I would have probably taken all 48 hours to do the intro alone. Great job on the metroidvania-style gameplay, I think you really nailed that, and I'm amazed you were even able to create bosses for the game, not to mention not doing a straightforward/generic platformer. As VDZ and others said, the lack of music and sound feedback hurts the game, but I think the rest of it more than makes up for such omissions. Really enjoyed it, great job!

Drop of Life by MrTwister 2012-04-28T02:45:00

This is brilliant. A lot of people might not "get" this game, but for people familiar with CA and TGoL this is absolutely brilliant. I'd love a more fleshed out battle system because right now it's pretty random in appearance, but the idea is there, and it's fascinating. Great job!

Wulcan by leafo 2012-04-24T06:23:00

This game looks absolutely beautiful, and it's quite enjoyable as well. Is there some way of escaping the walls closing in on you? Really good job!

Forever Alone by ra4king 2012-05-05T22:01:00

A pretty relaxing game, mainly due to the music and the fact there isn't much action or any time-dependent elements to be worried about. The controls were pretty good, considering some other games I've played suffer from really floaty/accelerated controls and that usually hurts the experience, not so here. The mood achieved by the fullscreen and the music was also pretty enjoyable, and I got into it for quite a bit :)

I think the gameplay mechanics itself could be greatly improved upon; there was no real tradeoff between stealing and attacking beyond the fact that the first steal was a "freebie", and I guess that took away some of the experience (knowing it came down to just attacking planets/healing when necessary/traveling back home for storage/upgrades); at the end it did seem a bit like a chore.

Anyway, pretty enjoyable game overall; I wouldn't advice to mess with the mood by adding enemies or something, but some more strategy and planning elements would be very welcome. Great job!

Angle Isle by Rusty Moyher 2012-04-25T14:49:00

Damn, loved the minimalistic and consistent graphics! The game is quite charming, and the controls aren't half bad, I like the flying mechanic, I definitely see it working on a mobile phone :) good job!

Mini-Worlds and Monocles by Zed 2012-05-01T17:34:00

Fun and good-looking. Not a gameplay breakthrough by any means, but the tight controls and the funny dialogues made me keep playing. Good job!

OWWW by moonmagic 2012-04-26T05:05:00

This. is. insane. Just wish it was longer! If it consisted on a bunch (3-5) of levels/minigames like the first one, I think it'd do great. I honestly love the weird art style and mood!

Superpixel by lectvs 2012-04-25T13:52:00

Wow, totally getting a Super Meat Boy vibe from this, and the controls are really nice!! Probably the best I've played in terms of the character doing exactly what I want it to. Really enjoyable :D

Cloud Realm by Hempuli 2012-04-24T04:14:00

Seriously well done. Great job!

Little Mischief Makers by netguy204 2012-04-25T03:26:00

Nicely done! I liked the graphics and although the controls were a bit clunky and sluggish. The concept made up for it though, with the digging and minecraft-like building mechanics. I enjoyed it :D

Exposed by 01101101 2012-04-26T04:45:00

Really polished, although also a little short; as it stands I see it more as a toy, although an incredibly shiny and entertaining one; the visuals keep me going. Good job!

Short Life in a Box by tequibo 2012-05-01T02:19:00

Interesting stylistic choice; the sounds got a bit repetitive and made me turn the volume down, honestly. Nonetheless I enjoyed it and made it to the end :D

River Runner by omaha 2012-04-25T03:03:00

Wow, really good! The narrow sections are really hard, but it's nothing that some tweaking on the collision side of things couldn't fix. I absolutely love how it looks, and it does seem to have a lot of room for adding cool stuff such as obstacles on the wide section or ramps for the leaf to jump from :D nicely done! I definitely can see it work as a mobile app.

Fancy Seeing You Here by sstrandberg 2012-04-26T03:21:00

Great game! I like the clean graphics, the neat control scheme, the animations when using the tools (although in some cases I had to click around the object I wanted to apply a tool to for it to work), the dialogues in general and the whole weird mood of it (although I think a fitting music track would have helped a lot). Nice job!

Ancestor's Sword by JaJ 2012-05-01T21:29:00

Eh, the controls weren't as bad as some people say they were; at least they didn't distract too much from the actual game, which was pure brilliance! Really good job :)

An Imperative Journey by RichMakeGame 2012-04-23T04:47:00

Nicely done! Other than a bit of movement-wonkyness, this is great!

Untitled, So Far by angrygeometry 2012-04-24T04:39:00

Not familiar with the Yume Nikki franchise, but this was fun and really weird, I liked it!

Inside My Radio by TurboDindon 2012-04-24T05:00:00

Wow, so good. If I didn't knew any better I'd thought this belongs more on the Steam catalog rather than here. The graphics are probably the best I've seen so far, and I'm a huge sucker for rhythm games. Thanks for this :D

Ant Slayer by Kharza 2012-04-25T04:44:00

Haha, that was fun! Really enjoyed it and I liked the over-the-top ending. Neat music as well! Just wish I could see whether a bullet hit or not :P

The life in a box by Bognet Team 2012-04-25T14:42:00

Well, this gets some points for humor, since it's pretty nonsensical and you still submitted it :P

BigMe by lartens 2012-04-25T14:45:00

Not the first game I've seen with this general concept, which I personally like, but I think the control (character moved waay too fast) really messes with the experience, and the gravity could have been implemented much better.

Mirror Rays by keenblaze 2012-04-23T04:46:00

Pretty clever feature, and I love the art!

Curse Of Grimwood by sorceress 2012-04-23T12:54:00

Fun! Neat graphics, although the controls took a bit getting used to. Good job!

ONLY DUST by kato9 2012-04-27T03:43:00

Very nice! Loved the art direction and I thought every bit of the game was really a good fit with every other part; really cohesive concept. Nicely done!

UpVote by oldtopman 2012-04-25T02:43:00

Uhm, I absolutely loved the epic ending! The gameplay could've used a bit more development, but the foundations were there :) good job!

Nano Ascension by mikelovesrobots3 2012-04-23T13:11:00

Great mood, great graphics, and even though a little repetitive the narration kept me playing. A little graphical weirdness here and there, but amazing nonetheless. Good job!

A Super Mario Summary by johanp 2012-04-25T14:39:00

Wow, really clever and nice looking, not to mention extremely ambitious, I would have never gone with this idea since I wouldn't trust myself enough to get it done in 48 hours. Amazing work! The game itself was pretty fun :D

Lilac.27 by oddgoo 2012-04-28T20:41:00

That's an incredible amount of content you were able to cram in such a limited amount of time! Incredible work! :D

IOTA by OPifexEntertainment 2012-04-24T12:54:00

Interesting toy; I liked the ambient sounds! I couldn't figure out if there was anything more to it than moving around though!

Little Locations by Nolan C 2012-04-23T06:32:00

Loved the idea of falling into other levels, but I eventually quit out of frustration (maybe it would be better if it didn't start at the beginning all the time, but from where you got your last "pebble" from on that level, or something) :P

Super Fun Crushy Time! by Darkfrost 2012-04-24T04:50:00

Really good Katamari-like game! Control issues notwithstanding, I really had fun becoming the biggest thing around, and there's something about moving around in a sphere I absolutely love :D

caveman defending his cave from aliens while monoliths drop down from the sky by bms 2012-04-23T05:26:00

That was fun! Loved the weapon switching, although I think some minor issue related to collision detection made me die arbitrarily a couple of times :P Good job!

Tiny Defenders by Raptor85 2012-04-25T14:13:00

A funny and well executed by-the-book TD, with a nice interpretation of the theme. Nicely done! Some more visual helpers could've been nice, but it's a good game :D

Nano Commander by SmallDeadGuy 2012-04-24T05:05:00

I thought this was pretty good, although I must not be a very good commander, because I didn't get very far if I didn't buff up some unit beforehand :P

Tiny Tim's Race World by pythong 2012-04-25T14:24:00

Unfortunately this took a lot of retries to load for me =/ a quick and simple game, and the users data was good motivation. Nice job!

Buggy, Tank and Missile Launcher!!! by Vic 2012-04-25T01:36:00

Really enjoyed this one! Great job with the graphics and the whole strategy factor :)

Rocket Boat by RHY3756547 2012-05-01T17:19:00

Great physics which account for 90% of the fun of the game, but it's way too hard! Couldn't make it past level 1 :P

Don't Mess with the Gnomes! by ziomorti 2012-04-25T02:37:00

Took me a while to figure out I was supposed to click on the platforms to get them moving :P It was really fun overall, although the jumping and general movement were a bit clunky. Good job with the graphics!

Spaceship Planet Merge by codeapparat 2012-05-01T16:11:00

Cool concept! Although it needs lots of coordination and I think it's too easy to lose by blowing up the wrong part of the planet. A tutorial might have come in handy :P

Epic Scale Warfare by devwil 2012-04-25T16:01:00

Yeah, it was difficult to figure out, and even then I wasn't sure if I completely got it. I like the consistent graphics though, very retro :)

Backyard Pirates by bompo 2012-04-26T02:30:00

Really cool! My only complaint other than the obvious lack of sound and music is that the ships move way too slowly (it even took me a little while to figure out which was my sheep on the first round), and there's little confirmation when shooting of whether the cannon balls did any damage or not, but I can see how an "accelerated" version of this could be lots of fun, and the graphics and whole visual style is really appealing. Great job!

Stargazer by tSwitch 2012-04-26T02:12:00

Wow, except for the lack of music, I'd call this a perfect entry. Really enjoyable controls, looks and gameplay. Seriously well done, I hope this ends up around the top of the rating!

Tiny Conflict by Redream 2012-04-26T00:13:00

Gotta admit it took me a while to figure out how to play (specially that you had to click on yourself to start actually doing something) but once it got going I enjoyed it a lot. Good job!

subAtomic by MurrayL 2012-05-14T00:16:00

Wow, the humor is top notch, it's an incredibly lengthy and polished game, and the execution is brilliant. Great job! Glad I had the chance to rate this one before time ran out :D

Dwindling Worlds by NiallM 2012-05-01T01:19:00

So, the strong points of this game seem to be visuals and audio for me, but every stage ended up turning into me moving my mouse frantically, trying to figure out how to get to the next one... good job!

Prince of Leaves by evilseanbot 2012-04-28T03:43:00

Wow, this game is pretty charming! Absolutely love the incredibly coherent style. I wish there was some way to recover lost life, but then again it's an easy game so that'd probably remove all sense of danger :P Also, I had to leave the window open so I could keep listening to the song; amazing job!

The world of Marceline by Pitoum 2012-05-01T02:44:00

So, not sure how to rate this, but whatever it was you made, you did a very fine job.

Pixels World by Zerod 2012-05-01T01:43:00

Haha, I had to play through the whole thing because of the whole teased secret, and I was not disappointed in the least. Great job! It's not very innovative in terms of gameplay, but it sure was fun to play :D

The Pioneer by Moth 2012-04-25T13:17:00

Really cool! The brief voiceovers were a cool addition, and the controls were actually really tight. Also liked the graphic style, and there was a decent variety of music. Good job!

Small Things by kalle_h 2012-04-25T06:21:00

Good looking! As some people said, either the gravity controls dont have much of an effect or the slopes arent pronounced enough. Played on my Kindle Fire =)

Only Walls by BlennosoftGames 2012-04-26T03:28:00

An interesting concept! I liked how most of the game could be played with only ~5 buttons, even though I felt I could do so much and there were so many possible interactions. The lack of sound and music made it a bit boring though, and I was never too sure of what it was I had to do so it wasn't much of a game and more of a toy. The graphics are interesting, and contribute to the whole weirdness factor of the game. An interesting one!

Combat Cubes by bigbadwofl 2012-04-24T06:05:00

It was fun, but for some reason I got stuck on the second screen and couldn't move. It looks pretty cool and oldschool so I liked the general feel of it (including the music), but why is it called Combat Cubes?

Burning Platform by recursive frog 2012-04-24T05:21:00

Pretty neat! I love the strategies one begins coming up with after a few rounds. The line drawing mechanic is a nice idea, although sometimes my lines either do nothing, or have the opposite effect on the moving thingies. Impressive work getting this done from scratch on an Android tablet!

Dragons of Pluto by Lusmu 2012-04-28T03:59:00

Weird controls, but pretty neat game nonetheless! I love all these games with a full sphere to explore, for some reason. I liked the visuals, although music/more sound effects could've helped as well!

Tiny Civilization by Suese 2012-04-25T02:10:00

Wow, I was blown away by this. It's got a somewhat steep learning curve, but I could see this becoming some sort of cult classic a la dwarf fortress if expanded upon further. A bit slow, but I think it adds to the whole feel of the game. Good job! I'd say this is among my favorites just for the look and the immersive experience alone.

Core Buster by Maato 2012-05-01T01:17:00

Too bad about the game-breaking bugs (got stuck in a grain of sand) but this is lots of fun! The gravity is maybe too strong or the controls are a little wonky, but the "weapons" have got a great satisfying feel to them. Good job!

Pixel Progression by pighead10 2012-05-10T15:14:00

Pretty unique idea! The execution might have been a bit lacking in that gameplay could be a little more balanced in order to avoid some frustration with movement, but I think you're on the right path on how to fix those issues with the post-compo version. Good job though! I did find the game pretty entertaining :)

70 seconds left by emveyh 2012-04-25T02:45:00

Wow, I didn't think I'd be able to fulfill my life-long dream of being Cthulhu destroying a city, although in my dreams it lasts longer than 70 seconds ;) great job! Better than a stress ball.

Tiny Quest by lorancou 2012-04-30T02:27:00

Ahaha, that ending!

Quarky by sythe 2012-04-26T02:01:00

Enjoyed the game once I figured out I could use bombs to destroy blocks and kill enemies. After that the game became too easy though! I could use my infinite stock of bombs to kill all enemies off, and the element of strategy got lost a bit. Maybe limiting the amount of bombs per level could have helped. Pretty good!

Sprace by Niavlys 2012-04-29T00:58:00

Fun, although I had some trouble getting it to work at first. A few refreshes later it was working just fine though! I liked the concept, although I think it could've used a bit more of variety throughout the game. Good job!

Flyspeck by amodo 2012-05-03T00:56:00

Absolutely brilliant! It could have been a pretty simple and forgettable game, having such a small amount of assets and all, but the great mood, the adequate dosage of humor, the science and philosophy allusions, and the way you put them all together into a cohesive and entertaining story easily turned this into one of my favorite LD games so far. I'd also like to state right now that Kitteh is by far the best character in any LD entry I've played so far. Thanks for this!

Pivotation by KingKay 2012-04-25T03:18:00

Really enjoyed the music, graphics and level design, so there's very little room for complaints! I think having checkpoints more often throughout the level (maybe whenever you got some "artifact") would have made it a bit less frustrating, but really, I think this was a really good interpretation of the theme (similar to mine, actually) and I really can't complain. Good job!

Rockland by Jeroenimoo0 2012-04-24T12:48:00

This was fun! It ran without any issue at all on my Windows PC :) love the graphics, and the whole "being in a tiny floating island with a phonebooth" thing was pretty funny.

LD25 — You are the Villain

Lunar Frenzy by Fireblend 2012-12-16T16:25:00

Thanks! I'm glad I had time to add those mechanics, or it would've been an awfully generic game. I'm not extremely happy with the execution, but I think makes it a little bit more original and justifies the "frenzy" part of the title when you've got 5 mines stuck to you :P

Villain Glance by Evilion 2012-12-19T13:55:00

Nicely done! It took me a while to figure it out, but after that it was lots of fun. Pretty original concept, it seems stealth-like games are popular this time around. Great job!

Dance Man by MrEvilGuy 2012-12-17T05:37:00

What. What. This is, uh, yeah.

We Meet Again, Mr. Mond! by Luis Anton 2012-12-19T15:26:00

Simple, but you absolutely nailed the theme and the art is pretty charming. Nicely done.

YOU ASTRROID by Tanner 2012-12-17T06:09:00

This is fun! And I like how it looks. It seems to me like either the distance bonus isn't getting counted of it's too small to make much of a difference. Also, it would've been good for there to always be reachable cubes, so that the player will feel like starting over from the top is his/her fault.

Abrupt Salvation by NostraDamon 2012-12-18T20:05:00

Hahaha, this game is amazing. Lots of fun! The visuals and effects are absolutely top notch and the music even though it wasn't made by you it fits the whole thing perfectly. Great job, thoroughly enjoyed this.

Cure 48 by SonnyBone 2012-12-18T19:12:00

Awesome! Loved the music and the graphics, and I thought that the "TV filter" made it look pretty great. Amazing work!

Villain OS 8 by tommycreo 2012-12-18T19:45:00

I think it was actually a good thing the game had no music. Great graphics, really enjoyable even though it's short, and it's incredibly charming. Great job!

Makarun by timtipgames 2012-12-17T15:09:00

Pretty good! I love stealth games and this one nails it! Unfortunately I had some trouble with the detection; sometimes I'd be hidden and not covered by light and still be detected. Still, awesome game! A checkpoint at least at the middle of the game would have been appreciated too :P

None Shall Pass by cardboard 2012-12-17T06:00:00

Awesome style! It seems if I walk to the far left and keep the space key pressed, I can pretty easily beat every knight that attempts to come through though. There doesn't seem to be any cooldown period between clashing swords and starting an attack again like you described (maybe because I'm holding the space key?). Either way, great entry!

G.O.A.T. by ChainedLupine 2012-12-17T05:45:00

Well, it's the most appropriate use of the theme I've seen so far, and it's strangely addicting, like it makes me realize how much I've hated goats my entire life and only now I know it. Or something. Great game!

Silent night by krutech 2012-12-18T19:01:00

Awesome entry! I love that it's christmas themed, and I seriously like stealth games. Pretty polished as well.

Alien Rampage by ahnt 2012-12-19T14:06:00

I loved the concept. It did seem like it's a little too difficult, since the tractor beam will target buildings instead too easily due to the navigation tilt, but I still had fun. Great job!

Speedrun by jmk 2012-12-17T06:58:00

Survived for 36 glorious seconds! I think this might be seriously among my favorites. Spot on sound effects, excellent visuals, addicting gameplay, the controls feel responsive enough to know it's my fault when I lose, yet frustrating enough to add to the difficulty, and it's really addicting. Great job!

Superhero Slaugther by joyboxed 2012-12-17T06:34:00

The introduction dialogue is a bit tedious like FireSlash said, but I definitely like both the style and the concept! A little bit hard, too! Nice entry :D

Dr. Die by Space_man 2012-12-18T19:26:00

This is pretty difficult! I didn't last long even though I tried spamming the cheap defenses.

Mr. Sweets... DESTROYER OF WORLDS by sbesant 2012-12-17T06:46:00

Good concept. The music got pretty annoying after a while though (I actually liked the fact it didn't loop). The menus got a little complicated, like there were way more options that was necessary.

Blood Money by Typedeaf 2012-12-18T19:34:00

Hah, I loved all the blood going around. Great entry! Someone mentioned you having to improve the graphics but I actually like them this way. Nice job :)

Sealed Evil by Neonlare 2012-12-17T15:43:00

It's a shame that people won't get far into this game just because of the first level. You should have had more victims there, because getting 1-2 victims per level is pretty discouraging when you know you need 20 and people will give up on that quickly. The mall is full of them, and once you reach it the fun really begins. Too bad people will most probably miss it. Great game, great music, great style. Probably one of my favorites. My best rated game so far.

Satan's Little Helper by Frolacosta 2012-12-17T15:01:00

Nice consistent style and music. The game itself was pretty simplistic, but executed well enough for me to play a couple of times and try to beat my own score. Great job!

Black Knight Blockade by Smaxx 2012-12-18T20:09:00

Simple and small, yet lots of fun. Played a couple of rounds :) I love that it looks like a GBC game.

Scary Chicken by Joncom 2012-12-19T14:02:00

Pretty good! It took me like 15 attempts to get through the whole thing, but it was short enough to make me want to try again. Good job!

Lab's Lab by HeXoT 2012-12-19T13:49:00

Well this is pretty ingenious and I love the web capabilities. Nicely done :D

Land of the Weebums by vrav 2012-12-17T06:28:00

I worry that there are so many games here that rely on my ability to inflict pain upon cute creatures, and that they're the ones I enjoy the most. Great fun!

Cruel Cruel Dastard by alect 2012-12-17T06:16:00

Pretty spot on with the theme. Great puzzle game.

Hopesington by Norgg 2012-12-17T14:51:00

Ah, I remembered this one from an early build you'd linked to in the IRC room. Much more difficult than that one, which is a good thing! Love how much you were able to cram into the game. Pretty fun!

Soulless Robot Rampage by Falkreon 2012-12-17T07:29:00

Nice music, awesome graphic style, loved the kitty. I loved the philosophical introspection into the mind of the robot at the end :P and the quick leveling system was neat, it was good that you didn't attempt to stretch the game out by making the upgrades really hard to get or something. Great submission!

We Drive Unto The Fortress by SmallDeadGuy 2012-12-17T14:46:00

Great game! It did took me a while to figure out that holding the space key would make it aim; I was wondering why I could only shoot like 2 spaces ahead :P but after that I enjoyed it much more (obviously!), good fun :)

Spare Pieces by sauronz 2012-12-18T19:07:00

Pretty great! This game reminds me of an Inspector Gadget game I used to play on PS1. Great fun, and I love the style.

To Kill a Mocking Witch by soy_yuma 2012-12-18T20:13:00

The Windows version that's linked to in this page is 404'ing me! The link on the webpage seems fine though. Fun game! Loved the look :)

Unhappy Holidays! by GeorgeBroussard 2012-12-18T19:40:00

Well, that's about as fun as it gets! Really enjoyed this one, had to play it to the end :D

LD27 — 10 Seconds

Puzzle Dash! by Fireblend 2013-08-26T13:03:00

Thanks for your comments! I find it fun how some people think it's easier on PC and some others think the exact opposite. For me, the Android version is definitely the superior experience; I agree that the mouse controls for navigating are kinda awkward. I actually wonder if there could have been a better replacement for the 2-finger scrolling mechanics on PC, but I guess the way it is now is good enough :) I'm just glad to have more people playing it!

Puzzle Dash! by Fireblend 2013-08-26T13:52:00

Thanks Ithildin for the thorough comment! Yeah, I had some trouble getting the menu items to behave nicely on all screen sizes, so there might still be some of that in the finished version.

And I have given plenty of thought to the difficulty curve too. I already have some ideas for post-compo updates looking to remove some of the frustration from the game while still making it difficult. This is a game that benefits from short play sessions after all, I think :)

Puzzle Dash! by Fireblend 2013-08-26T16:15:00

I'll release an updated PC version with a wider game area soon :)

Puzzle Dash! by Fireblend 2013-08-27T03:41:00

Thanks for all the feedback, people! Really appreciate it :)

10 Seconds to Self Destruct by gritfish 2013-08-27T00:10:00

Pretty good! Shame about the lack of sound/music, and the controls could be much more tighter. Did I discover a bug/secret btw? At some point I walked back through the entrance and it took me to what I assume was the next stage? I couldn't reproduce it after that. Great job!

Timespunkers by BNeutral 2013-08-30T00:43:00

Incredible art, great concept and the gimmick kept me from getting bored pretty effectively. Great job! Game is pretty adictive!

Tale of a Lost Soul by eolhing 2013-08-26T13:16:00

I managed to play it. Nice graphics! I'm a fan of games with an isometric point of view :) definitely kinda challenging and I also agree with whoever said it needs mellower music. Nicely done!

Amulet in Ten by mtrc 2013-08-26T13:59:00

I love how deep this game actually is. Plenty of great ideas and mechanics, all well executed. Lots of room to expand on, if you're planning to release a post-compo version. Specially if you remove the 10 steps limitation. I also quite like how it looks. Great game!

Gas and Air! by tripleVisionGames 2013-08-26T12:09:00

Best looking game I've played so far for sure. And pretty difficult too!

Graveyard Shift by Kortuga 2013-08-27T01:01:00

Nice graphics and sound effects! Neat idea, although once enemies start piling up there's little you can do to prevent dying. Still, really good!

Out Of Time by spliter 2013-08-28T00:32:00

Somewhat short, but at least it didn't overstay its welcome :P decent use of the theme, and with good handling. Good job :)

Clockwork Cat by patrickgh3 2013-08-27T03:00:00

This has got to be among the top 5 interpretations of the theme I've seen. Seriously, great job. Playing this right before going to sleep was the right thing to do :)

LIMIT by Holofire 2013-08-26T13:32:00

Great soundtrack, great graphics, and equally as good execution. I think the tower defense concept is a bit overplayed, but the twist in this one was good enough to keep me playing. Good job!

11 Seconds by TheJackiMonster 2013-08-26T12:58:00

Nice execution of the classic sokoban game. I'm a sucker for these, so of course I enjoyed it. Good job! It seems there are plenty of puzzle games this time around.

The Saddest Landscape by BradleySmith 2013-08-27T00:39:00

More of a toy/art thing than a game, and I'm not quite sure what it has to do with the 10 seconds theme if at all, but hey, it's pretty compelling and polished for what it is. Good job.

10s Paparazzi by Ithildin 2013-08-26T19:50:00

Great looking game, and pretty fun! There totally should be more photography games :D

Eiradirian Timejumpers by blay09 2013-08-26T23:19:00

Damn, this is some pretty hard stuff, not to mention there's tons of content. Good job!

Die very very fucking Hard by pereubu 2013-08-26T19:39:00

Those visuals! It's like LSD-infused care bear puked on my screen.

Nicely done.

Guest House by cardboard 2013-08-28T00:28:00

I absolutely loved most things about this game (if I had to complain about anything it would be its length). Great writing, great atmosphere, incredible visuals and a really fitting tune. I don't know what it had to do with the theme, but I just don't care. Really good, great job!

10 Seconds to Save the World by HacksawUnit 2013-08-26T14:01:00

Nice inclusion of the theme into the music. Solid controls, although they're not enough to beat the game easily, other commenters weren't kidding! Good thing there's only one level :P Good job :)

The Unbelievable Adventures of Kamil the Cat by blackcode 2013-08-27T01:12:00

This game had me grinning like an idiot throughout my entire playtime. Good job!

Usain Bolt Simulator 2013 by danielcmessias 2013-08-28T01:13:00

That crosshair is waaaaay too slow. Anyway, it was fun and pretty funny up to that point. Good job!

Tsuri by jcvsmc 2013-08-26T12:56:00

Wow, this is seriously original and just plain cool. I would call it more of a "toy" than a game per-se, but that doesn't make it any less brilliant. Really nice looking too!

Terminal 10 by alts 2013-08-30T01:21:00

Yep, brilliant humor. The game itself is pretty fun! Great job.

In The Ocean Blue by Tyu 2013-08-26T12:13:00

As someone else said it seems like there's little to no player feedback to know if I'm doing things right. Still though, nice first entry! I liked the graphics :)

Mission Mars by gre 2013-08-26T19:44:00

I enjoyed it! The controls could use some tightening, but still pretty good and not game-breaking. Good job :)

Shuutshimi by awppy 2013-08-30T00:16:00

Hah! Not only is this a pretty good shmup, it also has one of the coolest gimmicks I've seen so far. Gotta love party vision, my cannon gun and goku hair.

Taen Saeck by Typedeaf 2013-08-27T02:17:00

Seems fun! Although it seems like progression is really, awfully slow. Couldn't get very far, even after 10 minutes of playing or so =/

Get Out! by LordHellMaX 2013-08-28T00:15:00

Very cool! Although I didn't feel threatened at all by the ghosts once I realized the only way it could get me was by having all of my batteries run out. Great graphics and very good sound/music, even if it's a 10 seconds loop. Great job!

Narcoleptic Chicken Kid by Lianne Booton 2013-08-27T00:46:00

Really, really digging this one. The concept is really neat and the execution is brilliant, not to mention it's seriously polished. Really nice game!

Gauntenlet by Waave 2013-08-26T13:36:00

Neat game! Specially considering you didn't have all the time available to you. Good job, i liked the visuals and although the controls could be a little tighter it's not like the game's unplayable or anything. Bugs aside, good game!

Whodunit by Nezzhil 2013-08-30T00:36:00

Incredible work! The visuals are great, and the idea itself is pretty unique. I think it's too hard to try to figure out the mystery with people dropping every 10 seconds :P pretty fun nonetheless tho! I'd love a post compo version with a more relaxed investigation period!

PROBE TEAM by Andrew Shouldice 2013-08-27T01:30:00

Seriously, seriously good game. Amazing visuals, amazing concept, great sound, and just perfect execution. Congrats!

Love Your Pets by DaanVanYperen 2013-08-26T13:40:00

Best looking game I've played so far. Great job! There are definitely some rough edges such as the controls and the way the camera handles, but I don't really think that takes much away from the overall experience. I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for the post-compo version. Great job!

Diesel May Care: Quest For The Ten-Second Car by nintendoeats 2013-08-28T00:39:00

I eventually understood how to play it, however I think I broke it =/ and it ended up in some weird state in which the game basically reset. Good job though, I do like the concept and can appreciate the humor!

Low Memory by wrongcoder 2013-08-27T02:54:00

Seriously challenging, but fun! The sound could get pretty annoying at times.

The Path by Dezzles 2013-08-28T00:55:00

Pretty good! It was really difficult at first (and it only got less difficult from there), but after starting to grasp how much each "unit of movement" meant, I could actually make it look like I knew how to play for a few seconds without realizing I'd gotten the direction wrong again and I'd have to start again. Pretty unique concept! It'd be good to be able to look at the whole map (some sort of minimap?) to plan out moves even more precisely.

10 Second Hero by Diogo Muller 2013-08-26T13:22:00

Pretty fun, and definitely somewhat addictive. Great job! :)

GIMP the Tapedeck-Operated Robot by Zuige 2013-08-26T19:46:00

Good concept, good execution, and pretty unique to boot! Nicely done, congrats!

Ten Second Dungeon by Jimanzium 2013-08-26T12:10:00

Nice idea and good execution. The graphics are a little jarring to, mostly due to the scanlines effect.

Clone Firefight by RedPanda 2013-08-26T13:01:00

You really nailed the old shooter vibe, and the consistent graphics make it look pretty good. A seriously fun game overall! I'd say the ten second rule is enough to make it qualify for the LD :P

"10 seconds left, Mr. Pink Rabbit!" by Lightmare Studio 2013-08-26T23:14:00

Outstanding levels of polish, pretty unique concept, and great execution. Good job!

10 Seconds to Death by DJLad97 2013-08-26T12:25:00

The graphics could use some work, but the fun is there :) good job!

Blackout by X-0r 2013-08-26T13:46:00

Controls are definitely awkward, and I'm actually not sure if this was intended but it's a pretty frustrating thing :P the music is very fitting.

10 Seconds Before the World Ends by Lustdante 2013-08-26T12:08:00

Great execution of the concept!

Game of Throttles by Moosefly 2013-08-27T02:11:00

Loved the intro and narration! Unfortunately, my car deccelerated pretty often and I couldn't for the life of me figure out why it was happening =/ ended up being last in the first race.

Walking Thingie by deniska 2013-08-26T19:48:00

Puzzles seem to be pretty popular for this LD, which I love. Great job on this one!

Game of Throws by ViPeOuT 2013-08-26T23:55:00

Great concept, I had some awful lag when there were like 6 of us so I had to quit. Great game overall, although the music got on my nerves at times.

Canvas10 by Naked_Samurai 2013-08-26T13:24:00

Yeah, definitely feels much more like an experiment or a "toy" than a game, but I still really liked the concept and the execution is pretty consistent, and it's quite pretty. Nicely done :)

Kitty Force 10 by Raiyumi 2013-08-27T00:05:00

I would love to play this without the time limit, not sure how well the game integrates with the 10 seconds limit. Still, seriously polished visuals and audio. Outstanding job!

Lepton Epoch by Jacob123 2013-08-28T02:46:00

Loved the context you provided for the game. It's long enough to be enjoyed and short enough to not overstay its welcome. Pretty challenging as well, although hardly to the point of it being unbeatable, quite the contrary I thought difficulty progression was quite good. Great job!

YorkTime by Steve | tacospice 2013-08-28T02:24:00

Pretty cool concept! I think the theme feels rather forced on the game though, and it'd be way better if the time-per-turn limitation wasn't there. Still, really great looking, really unique and well executed. Congrats!

Time Ghost by Sephiroth87 2013-08-26T12:16:00

Really great! I vaguely remember a flash game with a similar concept. Great execution!

SUPER NUKE ROMAN EMPIRE by brogrammers 2013-08-27T02:06:00

Pretty clever! I liked the game, but it didn't really hook me enough to see if I could get a better ending. Still pretty fun, how many branching paths are there?

Dwarf Wars by Falcon 2013-08-26T13:19:00

The graphic and sound work on this are astonishing. Great job! I do agree that the theme feels a little forced upon the game, and that it is somewhat slow-paced and that damages replayability and how likely I am to play through it - just an observation for the next time you participate. Really well done nonetheless! It's plain to see that you made a great job :)

Unacrystal by EggPlant <3 2013-08-28T02:02:00

Good job! Kinda addicting, although it took me a while to figure it out.

Korn Land by GigaBass 2013-08-27T13:37:00

Admittedly the mechanics seem incomplete and need some balancing, but in the end I enjoyed it anyways. It's easy to notice you took your time with the graphics, and I'd be interested to see this in a more polished state if you're planning to improve it. Good job!

Injured Eternity by Lissar 2013-08-30T00:54:00

Pretty good! I specially love the graphics, and since I'm a fan of adventure games, the gameplay itself. Really nicely done, congrats!

Save the Stars! by anmorales 2013-08-26T12:59:00

Pretty cool game. It's a very straightforward game, but it's well executed and the difficulty ramps up quickly enough so that the game doesn't drag for too long.

Decem Libros by Hitonagashi 2013-08-26T23:24:00

How is this related to the theme? Anyway, it took me while to understand what I was supposed to at first, but I eventually got it. It's a neat concept, but I'm not sure using seals for everything (such as moving) was a great idea.

Hungry Knight by wilbo_teamcherry 2013-08-30T00:26:00

Such a polished entry. Gameplay wise it's not terribly deep or fancy, but the animation makes both attacking and dashing so satisfying, this is still lots of fun. Brilliant job!

Hell Pizza by h_double 2013-08-27T01:08:00

I uh. What? Huh.

BLAM BLAM PLANET by ratking 2013-08-27T02:00:00

Pretty fun! It was pretty difficult to use many of the guns, but there were a couple I had fun with. Great job!

Doomed for Eternity by Knighty 2013-08-26T23:33:00

Charming visuals, nice concept, and brutally hard. Gosh do I suck at this one :P great job!

Every Ten Seconds A Kitten Drowns by matthias_zarzecki 2013-08-27T01:06:00

Pretty funny, gotta love the randomly generated kitten names :P

Yin: A Game About Happiness by Sanguine 2013-08-28T00:03:00

Yeah, I'd love to see this expanded into a more complex "toy", so that things happen more often and there's more stuff to do in general. Very pretty though, good job!

Coin Collecter by nitrocrime 2013-08-26T12:15:00

Very addictive! The concept is pretty straightforward, but the execution really makes it memorable. Good job!

10 Sec Hero by StabAlarash 2013-08-27T01:56:00

Pretty neat! Also very frustrating :P

Life of a Photon by netguy204 2013-08-28T02:55:00

Fun, very good looking and just the right amount of difficulty. Well done!

Thorvald by FunByJohn 2013-08-28T01:20:00

Really great! Good concept, very polished visuals and audio, and even though the game is rather short at least it doesn't overstay its welcome. Nicely done! I'd definitely play an expanded post-compo version.

Hungry People With Swords That Are Too Big by Norgg 2013-08-27T23:38:00

Manipulating the sword seems pretty hard, and I guess I didn't have much fun because there was no one on the server at the time I played it? Still, it was alright.

The Thief by N0_Named_Guy 2013-08-27T13:33:00

Pretty difficult game! The small touches you've added such as the shaking camera and the guards' behavior are definitely my favorite part about the game and make it seem really polished despite the simple graphics. The audio is pretty adequate, and all in all it's a really fun game to play; and somewhat addictive too! The mechanics are somewhat simple, but they're executed well enough to make it very worth playing. Great job :)

i hate the dark by angrygeometry 2013-08-27T23:57:00

Yeah, I really really tried to get past the phone, but it was seriously cryptic and I couldn't figure it out. The atmosphere, music, and even visuals are really coherent and I was having lots of fun with it tho. Can't wait to have the solution!

KunoNoOni's Magical Star Saga by KunoNoOni 2013-08-27T02:25:00

Hah, I was stuck at that second jump for a while, but finally figured it out. Probably should have mentioned you could jump while falling in-game :P anyway, great work! It's still pretty hard, but the controls are pretty tight. I do feel like the theme was a bit tacked into the game though.

Card Smack by qualia 2013-08-28T02:20:00

I'd love to play a more complete version of this, I love card games and the visuals are actually pretty good!

I'll Give You A Head Start by Tifu 2013-08-26T23:40:00

Cool concept! I love how you establish the atmosphere right away through a few cues and the visuals. Great job!

Beth & Maggie by kebabskal 2013-08-28T01:53:00

The narration got annoying after having to repeat the same levels several time. I'd definitely only play the narration everytime a level is first reached. Other than that though, really good job! The visuals are pretty polished, mechanics are introduced at a good pace, and it's pretty fun overall.

Space Demolition by Suese by Suese 2013-08-26T23:10:00

It definitely took me a while to understand what it was I had to do, but once it did I found it pretty satisfying. The controls are somewhat hard to grasp, but I guess they're not game breaking or anything. Some serious amounts of polish too, both with the graphics and audio. Great job!

Decim Dungeons by pighead10 2013-08-26T19:52:00

Pretty unique concept and good execution. I do think it has lots of room for expanding upon it, considering most levels are pretty easy.

Time Flies Straight by mrspeaker 2013-08-27T02:47:00

My brain is all sorts of messed up right now.
