Amazingly awesome!
Reminds me of some of the games on the app/play store. Great job!
Nice Game.
Love this game. Makes the play think outside the box and create weird polygonal shapes. Love it.
Pretty cool game. Got confused in some areas, but I managed to figure it out. Nice work!
This is pretty damn awesome. I was a bit skeptical when I saw the screenshots, but my god, it is awesome. The graphical style gits with the theme nicely.
I found the jumping was a bit...difficult.
Very great game. Its fits the theme very well and looks amazing.
Fun and challenging. Enjoyed this game. Great work!
That is a pretty awesome way of controlling a ship. Can get quite difficult though sometimes when maneuvering through tight spots.
Thanks for the feedback guys. Three things I would improve on if I could do it again would be:
- Improve level order so it doesn't go from an insanely difficult level to an really easy level.
- Modify the movement sound. It can become really annoying.
- Add a way to move multiple pixels in the same direction without repeatedly pressing the button.
Wow, thanks for playing plash. I appreciate the comments.
So, I am doing a post compo re-make of Pix, which will be named Pix+ (I know, amazing name....). Anyway, here is a brief list of what will be added/changed:
- Level curve will be altered and more levels will be added
- More gameplay mechanics. For example, ice tiles that when you move on them, they force you to continue in that direction until you are off an ice tile.
- Massive changes to sound. The beep...that infamous beep.
- Fancy movement and tile placing animations. FANCY!
Nice game. Great job making 8 in 1. Must have been a challenge.
Wow, that was pretty awesome. Haven't seen a text game that actually made me play multiple times like this.
Nice little game. Could have done with a few more types of upgrades. Great job.
Very fun and challenging. Love the way the blocks do something different.
Simple game. Fits the theme. A bit more time could have been spent on the graphics. Great job!
A nice little game. Can be challenging at time when trying to get out of a tight spot. Nice work!
Nice game. The different colors and shapes make this game stand out. The only thing that annoys me is how the shapes have to be pretty much pixel perfect.
Great game. I played to the end. Got quite challenging and found it quite hard to find the right spot. Nice work.
Heh, nice concept. Pulled it off pretty well. Really challenging to get a high score. Great job!
Fun and simple. Could be a bit longer though. Great job.
Fun. Challenging. Awesome. Great job!
Difficult, but fun. Took a while to get the hang of it, but it was great fun. Nice work!
Nice little game you have made. The graphics are phenominal and I am struggling to believe this was made in just 48hrs.
The controls were simple to use. Amazing game :D
Very nice and simple. Gotta be fast to make sure those shards don't go off screen.
Absolutely hilarious. Such a simple and original idea. I love it.
The jumping is a bit...wierd.
Hah, loving the art style in this game. Also, the way the levels are designed are great. Gets very difficult when you are racing against the clock.
Amazing concept. A game like this really stands out. Great job!
Wow, very unique idea. Never seen a game like this before. Its looks and sound pleasant.
I do struggle to learn the controls at the beginning though.
Very nice idea. Matches the theme very well. I did however run into a bug where the enemies kept getting stuck and my towers couldn't reach them.
Nice work for 48 hrs.
As far as games fitting themes go, this is very minimalstic :D I love sokoban one way of another, so i found it quite easy.
A win condition may have been nice.
An interesting little game. Very simple and I love the way the colors in the background influence how you shoot and move.
Could be improved by having more enemies on screen.
This platformer is pretty damn awesome. The darkness gives it a level of difficulty that makes me want to keep playing.
Nice simple game. Pretty damn hard though. Got to be pixel perfect in some areas. :D
Wow, that was so immersive. Loved every second of it. Great job!
Very fun and a great twist on the classic.
I have never seen a game like this. Its hard to rate since everyone who has tried it before me have influenced my experience.
Its an alright game. Simple platformer, very minimalistic. Great job.
Bit confused to start with, bit I figured it out and found it pretty interesting. Great idea.
Nice platformer. Interesting mechanics. Great job.
Amazing game. Incredibly simple but very difficult. I love the way it looks and sounds.
Such an awesome idea.
Nice game. Pretty damn fun. Catapults are always the way to go.
Very great game. Pong is as minimal as you can get really :D
Great game. Gets quite challenging after the first 'world'. Great work.
Some of these levels are so difficult, yet so fun. Amazing game.
Great interpretation of the theme. Pretty simple and challenging. Great job.
Hah, great idea mixing two great ideas into one. The ! that increased the speed of the @ was the one to finally end my streak :D
Way, this is a really interesting way to navigate through the levels. Great work!
Nice game. Never seen anything like this before. Can get quite difficult later on.
Wow, this is great. So challenging. Very awesome idea to navigate using sound and thin lines :D
Neat little game. Fits the theme perfectly and the graphics are great. Great Job!
Great game. I love the way it puts you back on the same level that you died on and not restarting the whole thing. Art is great. Controls could do with improving. Great Job!
Fun little game. It was pretty good how in each level, you start off where you finished the last level. Had too much spare time at the end though :D. Good job!
Needs some polish imo.
Y'know, make it look visually appealing. I'll let you interpret that however you want ;)
Fun little game. Came across a few bugs, but overall an enjoyable experience. Good job!
Heh, that was pretty fun to play. Gets quite difficult further down. Great job!
Very enjoyable and satisfying game. Played a few times, only got to 66 kills. I kinda suck at it. Good job!
Pretty fun game. Love the concept and how well you executed it. Great job!
Nice simple game. Pretty intense and suits the theme perfectly.
Wow, that was pretty interesting. Great little game overall!
Fixed some 'typos'.
Pretty fun game. Sometimes can be challenging to take out the enemies. Great game.
Pretty great game. I enjoyed reading the dialogue and seeing what each one had too say. I think I accused correctly first time as-well. Nice job! :D
Interesting game. Wasnt sure how to play it at first. Nice job.
Pretty fun and challenging. Enjoyed it quite a lot.
Nicely done, challenging though, Couldn't complete it myself. It was difficult to figure out how each of the towers worked.

Pretty fun, getting to the boss took a couple of tries and it seems that being aggressive is the way to go. Letting the enemies pile up is a bad thing. Nice work dude :D
I have no idea what is going on, I ended up with 3 dialogue boxes on top of each-other and I couldn't seem to consistently click on anything. The concept is there, I like it, but the execution seems a little clunky. I do find it hilarious how you can push the father character around though!
A very unique resource management game, can be a bit tricky at the beginning but once you get going, it becomes quite clear. Ended up just switching between terrarium and sabatier for the last 5 years of the game though, got a bit repetitive. Overall I enjoyed the experience, good job :D
Stylistically, this game is great. I wasn't sure what to expect to happen so I kept going for a while until everything started changing. It got me intrigued, I loved the style of the locations.
The Mechanics of the gameplay are a little clunky, but I don't mind the concepts behind them.
The text however, doesn't seem to fit in with the style, which is a shame, it detracts from the immersion.
I appreciate all the unique interactions with the visitors, though couldn't tell if my decisions had an impact at all. I assume with the different indicators the game was suppose to be a survival/race. Definitely had fun exploring and anticipating what might come next, just no way to tell if I saw everything or not.

Hah, this is interesting, managed to get a 16k score. Flew so high I think I hit the top. Was difficult to get the hang of. Found that flying low and straight meant I had a good source of wood from the houses. But I guess you only get money bags from going high, nice incentive to fly high.
Pretty fun, nice concept.

Yeah, didn't quite catch onto the one room theme, however, I really did like the aesthetics and the potential for the story. I liked how you could choose different story paths by direction of walking or whether you picked up the items or not. I was starting to get a feel for a story about a father who is trying his best to be around for his daughter and the struggles of making decisions along the way. Great concept, good fun to play. Not sure if its just me but I had some audio glitches whenever the game loaded into a new area. Seemed like a bug but also kind of worked aesthetically if intended.

Super satisfying, great sense of weight with the gun fires. Initially struggled with controls and playing the game, but once I figured it out I was a god and could probably sit and kill things for hours. I played this far longer than I needed too, just so satisfying!
Graphically looks amazing, could probably use a colour change on the spawn animation, blends in just a little too much especially when enemies spawn on top of your character.
Bouncing bullets seem a tad overpowered. able to wreck an entire room with one click if angled right. though, this is super satisfying!
Great game, love the little story, really adds charm.

Really nice style and concept. The sprites are nice, but they're implementation seems to have a little artefacting. I like the idea, an oldschool platformer based in a child's room. Reminds me of a toystory game I played back on the Genesis!
Because of the slippery controls I found it difficult to complete some of the segments, especially with the unforgiving death system. Using space or something to skip the continue screen would have been nice. Moving to the mouse was tedious. I like the multiple layers of gameplay styles, even though I didn't get around to playing all the way through.
Did a pretty good job for your first game!
-Comment on behalf of MrDinosaur. (http://ludumdare.com/compo/author/mrdinosaur/)
Very fun arcade like game. Felt the tension of trying to protect the PS4 with what little blocks I had left. Those last 10 seconds, scary. Good job dude :D
Movement controls felt odd initially, but didn't take too long to get used to them. I really like the concept for the puzzles really got some great potential.
The environments were a little lacklustre but I loved the dinosaur!
First experience with the red buttons and I managed to launch myself, seems to happen when you push up against a wall / corner, though might make a pretty cool mechanic, just difficult to control the movement, especially with the looming threat of death, though nice that it doesn't fully reset the room, I think the puzzles could have benefited from not being able to fall off/die. Would also help enforce the one room theme. Climbing the inside of a tower rather than floating in space. Overall, pretty cool!

Saw your comment on my artists timelapse video, so decided I would check out your entry. Cute little shooty game. The enemies projectiles move very fast and are quite difficult to dodge. I like how they can actually shoot each other XD. Nice job on your first LD entry!
I like how the gameplay is pretty self explanatory. Gets quite difficult when the screen starts filling up. Only lasted like 20 seconds on my first run. Great job dude :D
Maybe not the most original idea, but you pulled it off pretty well considering the time limit. Good luck on continuing development. Good work :D
The way that you control the vine is pretty interesting, and the puzzles are challenging enough that you have to think about which direction to go when changing directions. Overall good job :D
Cheers dude. Your feedback is really appreciated. All of the graphics were made from scratch by my talented friend George (@123gas321 on twitter).
We do plan on adding VO for the narrator for the full release. Thanks for the feedback guys!
Yeah, I did put some sound effects in the build, but for some reason they never made it in the release build. I am going to have to check why they never worked.
Calming, Adorable and so go damn pretty! I love it!
The puzzle mechanics are unique and you've integrated them into the theme so well!
The simple animation of the characters and objects works so nicely. Especially the particles and UI elements, really have weight and satisfying feedback. Especially the little pulse on the clicking.
I might have to ask you some questions regarding the visual effects! I've only recently picked up Unity.
-Comment on behalf of MrDinosaur. (http://ludumdare.com/compo/author/mrdinosaur/)
Well that was a little trippy. Enjoyed walking around the weird areas. Unique concept. I like it. Nice work :D
Damn, that is genius. Pretty unique idea you have here, also very difficult. Good stuff :D
This game is awesome. I love it!
The audio seemed a little glaring at first launching up, but once it started changing pitch through the rooms, I came to like it, really helps with the immersion!
Though graphically its not amazing, the choice of colours are nice, just enough to hint towards theme of the game. I also really like the subtlety in the backgrounds when you enter the rooms, being able to see the previous room out the windows. Was that created using a sky-box image generated from the previous room or a scaled up version of the room?
A lot of fun to be had with this concept, transitioning between the rooms felt a little clunky and after a while the rooms did feel quite repetitive, but overall great mechanics.
Nice tutorials for the mechanics, though the puzzles didn't seem to encourage much exploration, may be due to the small room space not sure. The puzzles also felt fairly linear. Barely had to think about the numbers because often times I got given exactly what I needed when I needed it. I like the nested puzzles though. I imagine it being quite easy to get lost as there's no real indication as to what room you're in and they all look the same, something to encourage the player to look around may help with bearings.
Overall, loved playing this, reminds me a little of the game we made for LD.

Cool Concept, Didn't quite feel like one room being in the elevator, but the premise is there. Using each of the floors to affect one another was great, but I did sometimes feel a little lost going up and down clicking on all my items. Didn't encounter any game breaking bugs, besides being able to use the lamp multiple times on one floor and activating some of the floors while the elevator was moving past them.
Music sounded just a little too creepy for the style of game. It seemed like a horror at the beginning with the 2 dark rooms and the music.
Overall Pretty nice.
-Comment on behalf of MrDinosaur. (http://ludumdare.com/compo/author/mrdinosaur/)
Such a punishing game, cant take out an enemy with them getting in a hit or two. My strategy was just to ignore them and keep going straight through the doors, hoping it wouldn't screw me over and put me in front of an enemy. Pretty fun, nice job :D
One of the more unique puzzle games I've played so far. Quite enjoyable and challenging when it ramps up and theres like 15 enemies on screen. Killing multiple at the same time also feels quite satisfying. Good stuff :D
Interesting take on the theme. Was fun just going to each room and seeing what was in there. Interaction was a little bare bones, but I found the game enjoyable. Nice work :D
Interesting little game. The different choices were a nice mix of humorous and serious, I liked it. The payoff was a little 'meh' but atleast I was told I made the world a better place. Nice work :D
Very basic concept executed pretty well. Simplistic visual style works nicely. It left me wanting more after completing all the levels.
Had the needle in the final house I check, never lucky. Interesting little hide and seek kind of game. Nice work :D
Good fun, though I struggled to find health potions! The limited inventory space is nice, but might be good to have separate slots for the consumables.
Does the game scale infinitely?
-Comment on behalf of MrDinosaur. (http://ludumdare.com/compo/author/mrdinosaur/)
Quite a nice little puzzle game. Graphics are a bit basic, but do the job. Nice difficulty ramping and level variety. Good job.
This game sure is difficult, took me a while to figure out how to play too (because I didn't read the description, oops). I like the concept, its interesting. perhaps not the best game-play choice to convey the theme you were going for.
-Comment on behalf of MrDinosaur. (http://ludumdare.com/compo/author/mrdinosaur/)
Not sure if the controls being janky is a bug or a feature, but I think it adds a real challenge to this game which I love. Great design, nice job :D
Haha, loved it. Took a few tried until I got the hang of it. Goo stuff :D
Really enjoyed playing this game. The speed up time option was a very good idea, feels quite slow without it. R.I.P Neil and Buzz. Nice work :D
Wow, that was intense. Lots of button mashing and mouse clicking. Really enjoyed it. Completed it on my second time with seconds to spare :D. Nice one.
As an artist, I absolutely love this game, its hilarious!
Such a simple, yet effective concept.
I would have liked to have seen some other variations thrown in, but i guess that would take away from the theme of the game.
The dialogue boxes seemed a little quick at times, especially the accidentally skipping them from clicking fast. I do like how each of the characters is unique.
-Comment on behalf of MrDinosaur. (http://ludumdare.com/compo/author/mrdinosaur/)
Haha, this is quite funny. At first I was confused it didn't tell me what to draw so I drew a happy face and he told me it was bad. Then I noticed I had to draw the faint background. Pretty cool, got them all right after that! I like the animation where it spirals into his hand, quite funny! Vampires such a chill guy!
-Comment on behalf of MrDinosaur. (http://ludumdare.com/compo/author/mrdinosaur/)
The rotation controls are a bit tricky to get used to at first, but the overall experience was enjoyable, even running on my toaster of a laptop :D. Nice work.
Love the animation and the feel of the game.
Mechanically, felt a little clunky, not jumping sometimes.
With the view being at a 45 degree angle its really hard to use WASD to go diagonally, perhaps offset the controls by 45 degrees too.
Not sure if the game is based around the fast precise movement, but it felt a little slippery. Probably due to the speed and having to work with a time limit, sort of.
Interesting little game. Seemed a bit too easy, even with the traction set to tracks and the passenger bay set to small, it seems that you can complete the level with quite a bit of power left over. Anyway, good job :D
@Rytannic Fixed it now, I stupidly forgot to make the itch.io page public. Derp.
@Rytannic Aha cheers for playing! Yeah the difficulty is ramps up pretty quickly, I've only managed to beat it without cheating once. I really appreciate the comment :)
@Mathiouza Yeah the balancing is the main thing I'd tweak if I had more time, it gets really difficult at the end. 120m is pretty good though, the highest Ive seen anyone get. Thanks for playing!
@iMer Aha yep the difficult ramps up quickly, got to have those fast reactions. Thanks for playing!
@Narudgi I struggle to keep my energy up aswell, definitely have to keep an eye on it. If I had time I would have balanced it a bit better to make sure energy was in enough supply. Thanks for playing!
@Mau I haven't even mastered it myself, managed to beat it once before I submitted it. Thanks for playing!
@MathijsVissers Cheers for the comment, I really appreciate your kind words
@Killnaprimer Thank you, I am glad you enjoyed playing because I certainly enjoyed making it!
@badpaul34 Man the jump physics almost caused me to tear my hair out. I had to jump leave it in the end because I was spending too much time on it. If I had more time I would have balanced it a bit better and changed the overall pacing. Thanks for playing!
Just published a fix to clean up the audio and added a toggle so you can now disable the music and sound effects! Thanks everyone for playing, I'll make sure to play each of your games aswell!
@MoffKalast Thanks for playing! I almost removed the deck itself during development as I thought it might be too difficult to understand with the pace of the game. If I had the time I would definitely rework how the deck works and possibly remove it.
@pndaa & @SaberOfSong Thank you for playing guys, I really appreciate the kind words you both have said
@Rocktavious Oh you've just made me realise something about the slide card I overlooked. Since i had to redo it last minute I cheated a bit and just made it so the players hitbox and gravity were temporarily disabled. Forgot that it would cause the player to float  And yeah, the controls thing I might add today at some point. Thanks for playing
@ragnta I am currently working on a fix for that. Im assuming you have a slightly older PC meaning the game has a lower framerate which causes a problem with how the game calculates jumping. Should have a fix out within a few hours.
@ragnta I have just put a new web build up that should hopefully make it so jumping still works at lower framerates. Let me know how it goes if you try it
@ragnta Awesome, thanks for playing!
@Connell Thank you for playing!
@Sammy6 Thanks for the kind words
@arzi Thanks so much for the kind words! I put quite a bit of time into the polish, i'm glad it shows. Thanks for playing
@tweedle Cheers, thanks for playing
@mr-chocolatesalmon Thank you for playing!
The theme combination of this game is amazing, love it. Really enjoyed completing it. Gets very difficult to keep up with the rhythm at the end but fun nonetheless. Nice work!
Incredibly well put together game, very fun to play. I appreciate the fact you put in controller support, it works really well. Visually and mechanically stunning, amazing work!
Fun little game, ended up bobbing my head along with the beat  Love the derpy ragdoll movement. Great work!
This game is brilliant. I found myself replaying it multiple times just to get on the highscores. Managed to get up to 6th place which I'm happy with. Great use of the theme and amazing visual design, very flavoursome  Amazing job!
Very fun and satisfying to play. Managed to unlock all the 'skins'. The core mechanic is simple enough to learn quickly but enjoyable enough to keep you hooked. Very well done!
Fun little concept here, i enjoyed trying to figure out the best angle to deflect the balls. With a little refinement, it could be a really smooth mobile game. Nice work!
Wow, I really enjoyed playing this game. I actually beat it on my third attempt, my second attempt ended when i died from one of the laser things around chungholio. Controls were very difficult to get used to but managed to get the hang of it. Great job
Fun little game. I enjoyed the simplicity of it. Difficulty ramped it very quickly with the oncoming enemies becoming tougher and more of them. Good job
Really enjoyed playing this game, although i was pretty terrible . Managed to get to level 8 on my best attempt but got overwhelmed and couldn't get enough attacks. Good job, graphics are really great aswell!
I quite enjoyed playing this game. Staying in the positive was difficult sometimes, although I did manage to find most of the cards. Awesome stuff!
I quite enjoyed playing this, replayed it a couple times but just couldnt get to first place, had to settle with second  Awesome job!
Aha the pitch changing on the voice over made me laugh  Neat little game. I shed a tear whenever one of my little blue guys died. Great job!
Really enjoyed the game. Just like others have said, typing the same letter really fast over and over again allows you to move/jump infinitely. Awesome work!
Nice little arcade-like game you've made. As others have said, maybe increasing the speed of the squares or the amount that appears as time goes one would make it more challenging. Awesome work though!
