Why do I hear sounds from Super Mario World here?
That was fun
I'll be back! hahahahaha. I loved that movie. Awesome concept. Plays quite well. Hire a graphics guy and you could have a really solid game in your hands. Great submission
The second level (suddenly topdown) messed with my brain :) otherwise: great effort!
cool
for a first game, it's just great!
i love the graphics and the background themes!
keep up and good luck!
Great job on your first game!! I found the second level where you move around from the top down view to be very difficult due to how the movement works.
Outside of that great job, keep on making games!!
A cute little game with a cute idea! The platforming stages are pretty fun and the graphics are great for "first experiences"; really solid first game! The top down stages were kind of frustrating since the controls on moving pillows and trains are kind of wonky, but the final boss was surprisingly cool (multiple moves are pretty impressive).
For a first game, this is pretty good!
Good try, overall is a fun game. I like the idea having a check point revive after death. But I think should have add for life for beginner player
Yay! Cool first game! I liked the lava childhood theme. The platforming controls were nice but the top down parts had a very slow acceleration which made them feel unresponsive. The Super Mario sound effects are too known to reuse them in a game, it sounds weird in another context xD. Very fun and complete with even a boss fight. Good game!
The assets having different resolutions is a little strange and I had trouble finding out how I could (not at all?) interact with the bats. Also it would be nice to know which platforms will disappear, before you step on them and lose life.
Simple but solid platformer. Really good work for the first time.
@hugofock We will think, thanks
good game for fun, i can't complete
third level - too hard)))!
Good game. Please add more gameplay features and improved graphics.
I liked your take on frogger
Nice work on your first game!
For the first game is very wonderful. Transition levels with pillows not very. The presence of the boss is good.
A little anoying at times but overall kind of cool.
The game overall felt kinda clunky.
The art was pretty cool, but couldn't find a clear correlation to the theme.
Not sure if it's related to Jam topics, but as a standalone a
arcanoid pretty damn good.
Haha, it looks and feels like a shareware Windows 95 game, and I mean that in the best way possible. I dig the random music and effects.
Platforming was more fun than the overhead stuff though, the overhead was kind of annoying to restart when you died.
First level was fun but bit too short. I have to admit top down level controls were bit too wacky for me. Great effort for your first game!
Fun game, the 2nd level is kinda hard.
Oh I'm not the only one with construct 2!
Great concept! The floor is lava idea is amazing! well done!
Fun. It has a groovy retro vibe! I like the sounds, and I want to shoot more of those creepy clowns.
@Ygogo It is a childroom thus one room.
so hard TAT
The second level was a bit hard :D
Nice :)
Nice top down chicken on the second stage.
@team_disposable it isn't a chicken... it is a unicorn hat :)
Nice job on finishing your first LDJAM game! :)
I like the art direction, the "big items sprites" in the background is a nice add. The music suits well the style of your game.
It would be nice to be able to mute the music / sounds, or at least decrease / increase the volume, though.
The gameplay is easy to get, you can restart a game quickly if you die, it's dynamic and fun.
The second level felt a bit awkward, I couldn't explain why, maybe the movements or the tight timing.
I was killed by the first bat, thinking I could jump on its back to kill it or at least bounce on it.^^
Натаха - молодец!
Игру прошел! Босса убил! Пятюну поставил!
Lovely art style, good job
Pretty good game. Everything felt a bit scattered and a bit confusing when playing, but congrats on successfully completing this! I like the take on the theme
Some funny stuff! Good effort.
Not bad for a first game! Next time try innovating a bit with the mechanics and try making all the assets (sound, FONTS, sprites, music, UI...) fit in one theme or style.
Nice entry for a first time! Keep going! ;) But next time, do not use asset under licence (like mario sound effects), it may cuase you troubles :s
Really nice style and concept. The sprites are nice, but they're implementation seems to have a little artefacting. I like the idea, an oldschool platformer based in a child's room. Reminds me of a toystory game I played back on the Genesis!
Because of the slippery controls I found it difficult to complete some of the segments, especially with the unforgiving death system. Using space or something to skip the continue screen would have been nice. Moving to the mouse was tedious. I like the multiple layers of gameplay styles, even though I didn't get around to playing all the way through.
Did a pretty good job for your first game!

Nice, game and take on the theme. The art being different resolutions was a bit odd though
Very interesting and it have a lot of fun. But I think that we need a bit a story, or a goal for what all this we do.
The lava level was surprisingly hard as nails but other than that it's an ok entry and congrats on finishing your first game (Also like the others I can't exactly rate you on Audio since it appears that you've taken sounds from Super Mario World/Yoshi's Island).
For a first entry, that's really decent.
You 've got a lot of content and I like all the gameplay variations from one level to another.
Keep up the good work!
