The character movement is weird, but it kind of fit the game. yeah, care to the right click with webplayer ;)
Too bad it is buggy, else the concept is interesting.

JaymeeMak, currently, the controls are displayed only in the Pause Menu (Escape or Start). But were are currently adding popups at start to show how to play.
The upgrade I just talked about are now online in post-jam versions.
Cute game, graphics are amazing. We enjoyed sound too !
There is however a lack of feedback, we didn't understand what we had to do, and didn't seen the "hot potato" mechanic. Maybe a lack of time, too bad, the overall is still nice.

Nice concept, great entry ! We were 2 playing it and it's quite fun. We had troubles to know which character is our and there is too much spawn kill possible with the multiplayer map. But we had a lot of fun anyway ! Nice job.

I have to tell everybody that we are french, and we had to translate the whole text. We have a bilingual version. We tried to translate the best, but it was sure that we would have errors.
As for the choices with the bowls, we had a basic idea which was much more difficult and "fun" and also had a lot of gameplay and gave the score a sense (especially how you can feel to do better). But we had a lack of time. This is Game Jam !!! ^^
The concept is original! Like the music beneath the surface. Good work on the development and game design ;)
I like the concept but don't feel it suits very well to the theme. It can be really fun anyway. It can't scroll with my laptop.
Nice game ! I love the concept and how it fits to the theme. The sound is good. The graphics needs to be perhaps less cheap (especially the light) as when it is really sunny, we can't read or see very well the ground.

Great concept fits to the Jam. I'm not a big fan of the music, it is to cheap for my tastes, but I really love how you made it to fit the theme. We were in the same mood about this theme. I believe that it is a bit to hardcore for me, but the gameplay is really fun !. Well done !

I don't know if you forgot or lacked time, but you maybe should add some feedbacks showing your character's state, and a circle around the torches, even when lighted, to know when they are going to disappear.
The collision box seems a bit big too, no?

I think there are bugs on controls: once you jumped, if you keep moving you have to release inputs before to be able to jump again.
I mean you can't run and jump while holding right arrow.

I tried to interact with the guy who wants to date with the accountant, hoping to see a hot talk by the window but it didn't. So i told her to suicide :D :p

Nice concept :) Too bad the tempo is that fast, I finished spamming my space bar, randomly trying to throw a note.
Maybe it could have been slowed done, and punished on error (cooldown?) because I didn't feel the need to get in rythm, or to fit with the tempo.
But you manage to make a lot of things, and the overall game is really nice :) Well done!
I think you should have added a time pressure to motivate player to click as fast as he can. Else we don't feel any challenge.
I didn't see any difference between the several objects. Maybe a paper rock scissor mechanic would have been great. "Use coffee vs red things, shoes vs green things, etc..."

I didn't understand what are the green and blue things. I tried to put them one on the other to create like a chain, but some machines couldn't plug..? Really nice UI though

I like your idea of buying him a flat or sending him to college. We hade so much more ideas we wanted to put in the game but it took a long time to develop all you can see in the game!
We always say at start "ok, a small but polished game this time"... and end doing a bigger game each time :D

Nice and solid game, as always. But it's a little bit too slow I think, and of course, it would need more building types to add variety to the experience. Maybe the Gods could put tree into fire and create a little bit more chaos, to create variety?

I agree that the sacrifice mechanic is not very obvious. Maybe only a matter of size. If the boat would have been smaller, you would have needed to take choices and sacrifice some objets. Size vs price?
What stopped me from playing was that I don't understand why I can't move the object only forward or backward. That's really a pain in the a** to be forced to turn around the object all the time. Too bad because the overall realisation is good.
I of course took the dog :) Maybe it lacks a little be more challenge and game system to make the player feel that he takes tactical choices and does not simply spam left and right click.

Everything is good but as I can't stop myself from saying what is not as good as the overall game: maybe the cam shake is too heavy, and too bad that the hover effect on the track is not more integrated and clean.
But damn it's good anyway :)
What are the challenges? I think there is a lack of thinking for the game system. I only have to click on the right area and wait for them to go there.. Even if there is a small micro management to avoid the predators.
And I don't believe that Ludum Dare shall be a place for marketing your marketplace assets..

Only one little tiny problem: I sacrificed the dog and a text said "with the dog".. but damn I don't care since I really enjoyed playing.
@ironygames arf, sorry for your bad experience with it :/ No we don't replace mesh faces we use a point cache generated by Unity (maybe only HDRP) and then use it inside a VFX graph (new HDRP particles). You can have as much points as you want: it's not related to the vertex count (but be carefull the points coordinates are stored in a txt-ish file so a lot of point = a lof of RAM needed to play). Actually, we had to reduce the amount of points during the jam to make it playable. But still, you couldn't play it :(
I couldn't find how to start at the beginning x) PRESS R (maybe highlight this). And then I didn't understand why I couldn't start digging. PRESS 1 (maybe highlight this :p). Great job with the blocks falling and all... Nicely done, and juicy :) My best score is 243. I thought it was bad but after several playthrough im quite proud ^^ Do the yellow blocks cost less to dig than the brown ones?

Good job here :) I like the music and the idea and it's fun to dive and get those coins to ship to upgrade. Simple like good old kingregate games :) I was locked because I spent all my coins with 02 and then I couldn't buy a flashlight. Maybe the coins should glow a bit to be seen (but the player doesn't know how to get to them because he only see the coin, not the path) or maybe split 02 upgrades in two packs, and the second pack of 02 ugrade would be unlocked after buying flashlight. OR WE DONT CARE AND THE PLAYER RESTARTS AND STOP WHINING x)

Amazing! The emotions vehiculated through gameplay, facial expressions/art, and text make a whole. As a Game Designer I really liked the ANGER phase. The gameplay is really interesting. THis is REALLY GOOD! I felt something :) 5 star on all

Nice game. We thought about a game like that. You did it well, it's clean. Maybe the jump is a little bit too much slow but it had to be like that because of the gameplay. My only regret is the slow pace of the game.

@slovnoslomo I like your analysis. I agree that the game has some balancing issues. You don't lose enough Fuel and so you have too much stars to build tiles. Speaking of intentions, the racing challenge should be "driving as fast as possible to earn more stars". As the number of tiles built increases, and (so) the obstacles accumulate, your challenge of racing through the "forest" of previous obstacles increases too. So the balance is kept. But since (1) you don't feel enough the evolution of star earned per second according to your speed and (2) you have too much of these stars, you don't (feel the) need to drive that fast.
We didn't aim to make the player stop and backtrack. We actually are thinking about something that is running after you (maybe the tile lights up like a bomb fuse) to add pressure to the racing part.
Anyway, again, I like your analysis, and btw, you beat everyone in the team with your high score :) (sorry my english is so french)
Greatly made but we really need to know what the turrets do, on hover or on long press. It reduces so much the stakes of the game.
Great idea for two incompatible genres. It's a little bit hard but it works well. (I think the level with lava + guards comes to early) But why guys can't I collect those shiny coins ? :p
