This is a pretty great job for your first game jam! It seems like drop kicking was a bit overpowered though, steamrolled through the whole game with it :P

Cool concept (:
Kind of silly and fun. Doesn't appear to be more than 3 levels, where the third level is an endless hallway of enemies (I think, I haven't reached the end and I don't think there is one). Graphics are good, audio is good and funny (old Minecraft hit sound I think, and the "bang" is funny too), controls works as expected, but had to look at the Jam game's entry page to see the controls. Any long hallway is dangerous because the guards with guns pick you off once they notice you pretty quickly until you can reach them (unless you have extra arms to throw). Good game.
its oddly disturbing (in a good way)..
the gameplay is a bit off (in reasons that might be obvious, i imagine its because of the time constraint) but the entire thing has an odd disturbing feel to it, which i dig a lot.
i think both the idea and the graphics contribute a lot to that.
overall was pretty interesting!
@epicruins195 Haha yeah I agree. I had originally made it cost a leg, but then I never used it instead of the arm throw.
@burnedkirby To be clear, is the danger of hallways a negative?
@toast-toaster Its just something I noticed about the game mechanics. Since melee attacks have no penalty, but ranged attacks makes you lose health, fighting enemies that are further away will cause the player to lose health in that situation, especially if the enemy has a ranged attack.
@burnedkirby The loss of life and limb (haha) during ranged combat was intended, so that the gameplay would match this year's theme. I'm honestly only making this comment so that I could make the life and limb pun.

This is pretty cool. I don't think you necessarily need to add any features. As much as, just have a complete overhaul in polish. All of the mechanics are cool. Just in need of some flash. Same goes for the sound. If you worked on making the mechanics feel like they have weight to them and add a few particle effects. And give us the ability to throw an arm or leg at the police or bomber. I think that changes things

so funny! i liked how you got arms and legs by killing enemies, and it also served as your health bar. really clever mechanic!
@jdelaay025johnd1788 Thanks for your compliments! btw, you can throw arms at the enemies, I just didn't have time at the end to implement button prompts on the first level :(
Pretty cool game, quite unique. My only criticism is that I would like a little bit more feeling of power when killing enemies such as particle effects, sounds, or bodies
This is pretty cool! The art could be improved but the gameplay is quite original and fun, reminded me of gunpoint by Tom Francis. As @sadzanenyama said, some more visual and audible feedback for when you kill an enemy could greatly improve the game. Good job!
The moves were amazing but honestly the dropkick is next level hahaha, loved it. I'd say fix the issues with the stairs and it would be wayyyy better :D
The guy looks so weird with so many arms :D Funny idea of sacrifying legs for arms. The bang and reload sounds are great. But it took me some time to get down the stairs.
It's so cool, the sound effects are so funny. At the end I was like drop kicking only, because it's faster than walking :D
Drop kick OP. Seriously, I really liked this game. The art style and level design reminds me of early Gunpoint prototypes. Is there an end beyond the starry sky area? I just got mobbed by cops and died. The protagonist with his borrowed limbs is super creepy and interesting.

The sound effects are top-notch, and the throw-body mechanic is really great as well. However, I did get kind of confused as to what controls did what, so I think it would have been nice to have a control guide. Other than that, great job on the game!

I actually had a good time with this one. The sounds are comical especially the first time I heard "Bang". Interesting mechanic, but one I was out of arms, I had a hard time. The dropkick is pretty powerful though.
