Nice compo ! I am a little bit confused with the controls (I think it's just the arrow keys). Maybe add a controls pale to show them. Or add them to your itch.io description.

A very nice game. I died trying to go too deep so the Theme is 100/100 respected. The sound is good but I think it miss a musical or ambient background to avoid emptyness when you try to go deeper. Very good Job !
I love the gameplay. The concept is so cool (it must have been a nigthmare to build). The sound is a bit harsh (maybe add softer sound for growing and shrinking because we use them a lot).

Nothing to say except I'm impressed. The gameplay is simple and the informations are well displayed. The graphics give the effect of deep. I won't be surprised if you are in the top 10 of several categories.
I absolute love this game. I really had the feeling of playing an actual solo card game. I beat it (I didn't want to rate before finishing it). Very good gameplay.
If I had something to change, it would be the lack of music. I would had a calm and relaxing music.
@havok06 Making music is the hardest. I cheated by using Kalimba (every sound you make on this instrument sound like music :smile: )

I loved the otter and the concept of your game (it fits perfectly the theme). I agree with the feedback of the photo shoot (a sound is the easiest way). You should add a screen explaining that you have to go above the surface to get new equipments.

This game is really awesome. I played it a while without looking at the clock. The music, the graphics and the difficulty are on point. The only thing I would add is a Tutorial (or a explaining screen).

I had some hard time one the last chunk but I managed to finish. The difficulty curves is on point. I loved the fact that you go in the same chunks of level with a bigger sword, changing the way to pass it :smile:

Nice little puzzle game. With a better way to show progress (maybe a more arcady game) and a bigger pool of puzzle, it can be very interesting. I think about Wario ware party, which has the same idea of mini games that you have to do quick. Good work :clap:

This game is very good. It might be too difficult (but the old NES game was hard to have a longer life). The skecthbook aestethic is a great idea. It's like the first drawing of your game began to move and you decided to put it in a webpage :smile: Very good job !
Great idea and a good game. I like the clunky controls that leave me a real impression of maneuvring a big piece of metal. The only thing that prevent me from playing far more time is the speed of the submarine. :clap:
What a game! I meditate from time to time this game is a really nice way to show how to. The sound design is perfect and the colors are well picked. The tutorial is nicely done (maybe too long knowing the duration a the breath).

Good Job, I liked playing this game a lot ! I feel like it just miss a visual infomation about what you can eat or not.
The concept is fun. It lacks of polishing and it has too much randomness to be played consitently.

Very nice game. I love the humor of the concept (your Quarterback have a strong arm to say the less). You may want to make the game a bit easier on the first yards to let the player be confortable with the controls
Good game, it fits perfectly with the theme. My feedbacks are : * Add some juice in your game (satisfying sound when you pick up ores) * Add visual impact of the improvments on your car * Add more challenge with malus if you go in a petrol cave or if you mine lava (for example)

Very nice game. Q*Bert is a nice inspiration. I played a while so the gameplay and the difficulty are on point (challenging and not frustrating). The only thing I would change is that the ennemies and the bonus look very alike.

I read the other comments and I see why it's not a bug, but the game could benefits of an input lag to discourage it.
I love the feeling of this game. It may lacks of game over, I could hit all of the asteroids without having any problems.

Good job! I loved the MOOd of this game. The concept is simple and you added simple mechanics on it.
I think you can push the game further by adding some challenging mechanics : * The price of the path is also defined by the size of it * The price of a cow increases when you buy one * Add some random mechanics wich take away some cows (maybe a flying saucer)

Ce jeu m'a fait rire. L'histoire est fun et les QTE sont une bonne manière de laisser le joueur interagir. Ça m'a fait penser à Cyanide and Happiness (avec les bonhommes batons et le générique de fin).

Your game is beatiful. The UI is neat and well used (the lock for the forbidden area are very nice). The death are little unfair with the other fishes trying to bounce you to death. The controls are challenging (in a good way) but for the quest of the waypoint, the ring is not counted sometimes (and I don't know why).

Good game ! In liked the mood and the messages you send. The combat feature is a bit complicated because we can't attack too quickly on melee (because all the attacks come from the little circle). Good Job !
First things first, the choice of doing an android app is perfect for the gameplay. Having a 16:9 ratio would have been so tidious. Controls are responsive and the game loop is clean (dive, die, buy, repeat). I think a quick win is to give some juice to the game (particles, sound) and a death message.

My plan was far bigger and I had to cut off some features. There is no end, it's more like a Highscore endless arcade mode. The next step is to work on some level design and the difficulty curve but I didn't have time in 48h.

I'm so glad to see so many nice comments about my first LD game :). Sound design was a very funy part to do and I had a lot of fun dubbing the dogs. I really take notes of the feedbacks concerning the difficulty and the level design (100% agree with you).

@studio-gomp In the first draft of the game, I imagined different level of difficulty. I cut this part off in order to finish in time but it's on the todo list and I want to continue developping this game.

@binroot: the plan was to have a small battle system with the ghost but I didn't have enough time. The controls stayed. But it will definitely be in a future update !
@silkypantsdan : I will! If you want to silence the ambulance, you can press `O` on it (it's a small hitbox). Glad you liked the sound effect (I had a lot of fun doing them)
@rawbits: In this game you help Ron sleep "Deeper and Deeper". I had the idea to add a higher difficulty if he sleeps to deep (with bigger bad dreams or monster under the bed) but I had to be reasonable :smiley:. I think I will work on this on a V2 of the game.
@villanelle: Yes, I add too much randomness to the inconvience spawning. So yes it can happen (sorry :pray:).

The game seems to have some bugs. My dino keeps coming back on top when I go to far bottom. The depth continue to increase.

Great animations (the death by ghost is my favourite). Sometimes it plays twice (surely a bug). The gameplay is cool and the levels present it nicely. The whisperings are a nice touch!
Very nice entry for this ludum dare. The game feels finished and it's exceptionnal for a compo game. The music was cool and I like that there is two different instrumental parts for when you are in the game or in the menus. The retry button should appear a lot quicket in my mind (it can be frustrating to wait 2 or 3 sec when you screwed up).

@barrier : Yes, I make a pencil drawing and redraw it several times with a ink pen. 3 times seem to do the trick.

Nice idea. The idea of stability is perfect with this battery gameplay. With more juice and visual feedback, it can be a nice little phone game.
