Great idea! But I don´t get why there are those moving stones underground tho... I understand that they are suppose to be obstacles. Apart from that, really fun :)

i like the details in the story that you included, like the meteors falling, the Sky Miner Inc. building. the game feels close to complete! as for the gameplay it's very straightforward and easy to get into. however it all feels a bit pointless. i think your introduction of new gems/mineables the deeper the player goes helps a bit in this aspect. i can see this game being expanded to fit shops, a storyline, enemies, etc -- anything that alludes to there being an endgame. maybe something related to the falling meteors? anyway, this was kind of a critical review, but i think you did great job!!
Great, but the graphic style is a little bit mismatched + no menu.
A funny one. First I didn't see that I must by upgrades, because later on I cannot. With upgrades I managed to see some new materials, but I could not figure out if it's a good idea to first go right and fall off more deep to get those materials first or just dig and dig. Good job!
Really nice controls! I love it when game controls are snappy and responsive, this driller didn't disappoint.
It would appear that trying to upgrade my driller didn't do anything, I'll have to see if it fixes itself on my 1080p monitor instead of my slightly-bigger-than-720p PC screen.

reminds me of motherload. upgrading to be able to dig deeper and quicker was satisfying. great job! Played until I got my PhD. Wish there was some more story though
Nice vibe on the engine sound but I couldn't get the damn thing to fill. I end up on the surface a lot but didn't get why I still got my loot. The coins kept increasing. Solid game. Good job.
Nice game, the sounds are great and I like the 2d game with 3d tiles

Playing this game was fun! Well made, and well polished! :)
The phd joke was pretty funny actually ! And it was a nice way to end the game ! I liked the different ores, the game felt balanced and upgrading felt good, even if the "speed" one isn't that useful. Maybe add a background underground, so it feels more like I am underground. The fact that I could drill rocks once I was powerful enough was really cool !
Nice game! I enjoyed the upgrading, and relatively simple game loop. Not so sure about the choice of music. All in all, a good entry though!
Good game, it fits perfectly with the theme. My feedbacks are : * Add some juice in your game (satisfying sound when you pick up ores) * Add visual impact of the improvments on your car * Add more challenge with malus if you go in a petrol cave or if you mine lava (for example)

I got my PhD yay!
Also got a PhD. Unusual but funny way to end the game. Overall a fun little digger. My laptop runs at 1600x900 but fullscreen still cuts off the edges.3f5a0.png
I got planty of PhD and made to -214m! Liked the style and the variety of matherial to gather. After a while was hard to control while drilling down... I missed some PhD because sometimes was hard to stop to the right depth. Overall a nice entry for a compo, with a cute graphic and nice sounds (lot of games lacks sounds). Well done (o, se sei Italiano, ottimo lavoro!)
I didn't understand the game very well... I'm always running out of fuel. Is that supposed to happen? :P
@gnevesdev yes :sweat_smile: You go down until you run out of fuel, then you are magically teleported up again (sorry, I did not find time for adding a visual feedback for this), you upgrade and restart digging, trying to get whatever is at the bottom of this floating island :slight_smile:
There is no real way to lose, it's a chill game
