I love the design of your game and I like your idea to have the Sphere as an unstable object. The Music is relaxing and fits perfectly to the speed of the game. For my taste it is a bit to easy and the levels are way to short. With some more challenging levels it would be a bit better. But thats just my opinion. Keep up the good work!
very fun game!
@xschaumix thank you for playing. You're totally right, we would like to add more levels with more difficulty.
The title isn't lying,
that was indeed oddly satisfying!

This game is amazing! I love the idea of it and the graphics are so aesthetically pleasing. I did find that on the playback the block movements were slightly delayed as compared to what happened in the recording phase but other than that great work!
The game seemed to have a good idea behind it, but it was just too easy. The entire time I was playing, I was thinking "Man, the later levels must be really difficult for them to have tutorial levels." I think that, given more time to make levels, this would have been even more awesome!

I really liked the concept when the game started, but I agree with XSchaumiX that it would have been great if it was explored a bit more. Now you could often just completely prepare the path of the ball before making the recording. The levels were you had to change the blocks while the ball was rolling were the best. As a suggestion, maybe some levels were the ball is propelled through the air would have been cool. Or puzzles where you have to put something in the way of a moving block such that it cannot get in the way of the ball
The game looked beautiful and had a truely amazing, relaxing atmosphere to it. The music and lighting all played into this perfectly. The controls were also smooth (although at first I thought I had to drag the blocks out of the way, but apparently just clicking is enough) and the transitions nice and gradual. The game feels extremely polished, which is quite an achievement for a gamejam game! Amazing job!

AMAZING graphics and sound design, I love the Monument Valley-esque vibe the game gives off.
Like the others said, if you made a few harder levels that would be great. I suggest you could do that post-jam, and release it as a puzzle game, similar to Monument Valley.

This really was (oddly) satisfying! I love the soundscape and the aesthetics. Would love to see this expanded into a full length game with a bit more variation in the puzzles. :sparkles:

Oddly satisfying indeed.
Graphics and audio were on point, good job!
As others mentioned, I would like to see some challenging levels in this game, so far everything felt more like a tutorial.

I liked the game, the levels were pretty easy (understandable because of the game jam) but I could play a longer version!
This was a relaxing game to play, and I love the high definition visuals behind it. Is the recording loop feature desktop only? Would have been cool to see what the gifs looked like.
@r3l0ad1 Thanks for your feedback, you're right, we still have some issues with loop feature but though that was enough for the jam, I mean not an urgent bug that stop players progression
@classicdillster Yes that's true: we didn't have the time to make all levels that we wanted, create harder level was also harder for us and longer, so we decided to polish easier level. Thanks for playing!
@wuppos Thank you so much for comment! Really interesting ideas, I like the idea that the ball could be in the air. We also thought about big map where you can't see all obstacles. You're right it would be great to have all the features and levels that we planned, but you know, jam are really short. Really happy that you enjoyed the game atmosphere! We spent so much time to polish it, thank you
@escapade Thanks for your feedback! Yes Momnument Valley was the prefect reference for us
@lauranto Thank you! We would have loved to have more content too
@mvasko2 Thank you! Yes, maybe " would like to see some challenging levels in this game" would be a better name than "an oddly satisfying game
@wamien Thank you for playing. You're right, jams are too short.
@gamepopper Thank you. In fact, there is no gif recorded, the game just replay player's actions in real-time (the physics do the rest of the job ). Agree, a gif export could be a nice feature.
Thank you so much people for all your comments, for us, when you said that you would have loved more challenging levels, it's the best compliment that we can have, because that means you enjoyed the game and the concept! Thanks for supporting us
Super polished game. Love the lighting and graphics. Audio was soothing and calm. Overall amazing game

After making stuff oddly satisfying:
Pros:
- Clever use of simple graphics taken into visually pleasing image - Great soundscape! - Dead-easy mechanics - A bit of variety in the levels, partially introducing into more 'advanced' concepts - Some say it was too easy. I say it was proof-of-concept!
Cons (or rather a very personal opinion):
- Okay, I'm gonna be very straight and something I immediately though out loud while reading the description. This game does not sound 'unstable' to me at all. It would fit perfectly in a 'stuck in a loop' Theme of Ludum Dare 47. Here, I am not sure.
Gratz to entry and good job!
Doesn't exactly fit the theme, but I love the graphics and sounds. It's slightly buggy with its physics, but it's not terrible.
The mood was awesome and it was oddly satisfying :)
I had trouble with the the connexion to the theme though.

The game wasnt much challenging, but thats not a problem. The music fits well and with the art it create peaceful atmosphere. :)
Really liked the minimalist design and game idea, good job for the polished game =)
Esthetics of the game is really good, however I feel that perfect loop should be result of puzzle solving. Currently, you can arrange everything before making a recording. But looks like a really polished and chill game
I'm not sure I see the theme, and I do wish you had managed to make a few more involved puzzles, but I'm a fan of what you've got going on with this! Quite smooth!

The game doesnt have a challenge. The Atmospher is good and relaxing, graphics are fine. Doesnt stick to the Theme Though

Main menu is broken. (Pressing space, the ball rolls to the right off screen, nothing happens except a repeating "tick" noise playing indefinetly) I'll try to come back to this hoping for a patch because it looks promising
Edit: have found the issue. Pressing space in the main menu is always broken, clicking on the ball always works.

How this game into the theme I dont see that ? Sorry. I like atmosphere of this game. Average fun game, but maybe next time you will polish the gameplay and it will be better. I like that audio, very good. Good looking game for me, good work.
One last note: I always write down honest review, because everybody need that, not just nice craps with some bullshit, but sometime I will aperceite very good games. So if this review insult you, but use it well :) Anyway every game is counting so :)
This was an oddly satisfying game I gotta say :D Great job! the graphics were really pretty!

An interesting game with a reflective atmosphere. It is sad that there are so few levels and there is no challenge in them. But it's great.
Fixed camera and clearly communicated visuals give the game a nice feel. Nice game overall.
@mikoziq Thank you so much for this comment, really clear and useful for us! You and @turtle-games @verygenuinecraze @mathemagician and anonymous person are right about the theme. Totally agreed, it's hard to find the link between our game and the theme. Our point was, we didn't want to create a game where everything is unstable. Because for us, instability comes from stability. So we thought about something else... What if everything is stable, everything is perfect? Every mistake, weird thing would be unstable or really frustrating? Our references are satisfying video and also this video about unsatisfying stuff : https://vimeo.com/189919038
This video is an example of: how the perfection is unstable. Following this idea, we thought about the loop feature, to create satisfying stuff but we think we forgot the theme, and now, the game looks like a game for ludum dare 47 (stuck in loop as you said). Unstable was the starting point of our reflexion, sorry if it was not clear, we will pay more attention with this next time!
@supergamersgames Yes true, some bugs are still there, thanks for the feedback!
@kukurammus @mostel yes that's right: we wanted to make more puzzle where you have to click on ball to progress in puzzle with timing, but as you see, we didn't have enough time to it, thanks for playing!
@mrchip Thanks for reporting this issue, we will post a hotfix soon!
Thanks for your honesty people and for supporting us, it helps so much! We're really happy that you enjoy the atmosphere of the game even if it would be better with more puzzles, thanks
Nice clean and simple graphics. The game appears a lot polished and can be extended with more complex puzzles as the idea is really engaging. Keep coding!

Шарик внезапно осознал, что он может двигаться самостоятельно. И придал этому большое значение. Однако и кубики это осознали. И осознали себя. Философская игра.
This was amazing! Loved the physics based approach to the theme and I think you implemented the recording loop system really well. It was satisfying to play and overall I reckon its a brilliant submission.
Nice look and feel. But too easy, imho. I think it would be better to make red blocks moving (by itself) in some order, and to give some moments to run the ball successfully.
Nice game! Not sure if I understood the underlying concept, but it definitely looked satisfying 🙂 Especially the music

Lovely minimalist look, the easing on the block animations felt really nice. Really liked the ascending and descending tones the blocks gave off as you moved them up or down, and the music fit the mood perfectly - simple but hypnotic. The progression was good at gradually ramping up the complexity and I'd be interested to see some more levels added in the future.

Really satisfying, both in regards to the gameplay but also visuals and audio! I did have some problems getting it to run in firefox, but it might just be something on my end. Worked well in chrome though! Overall really nice :D
Visuals and audio were nice but I didn't really think there was much gameplay. Every level was just a case of clicking each block and then you were good to go, didn't have to think about what you were doing. More of a focus on level/puzzle design I think would've been good. Overall, it largely lives up to its name, it did feel rather satisfying.

I liked how the game is basically about making loop animations. I don't know what was the intention of the game, but the levels that involved a puzzle were more fun. would be cool to have more levels with moving parts that you have to move in the right time. Nice work with the game.

Very chill and cool puzzle game. I just wish it was longer. The music that comes in later is also amazing!
Simply beautiful! What if the "recording loop" was part of the gameplay? Your moves are recorded on the first ball, then more balls are sent out, and you win if your recorded moves allow them all through.
The atmosphere of the game, especially the sound design and music were perfect. Simple, effective, and well done. :)

More more more! Everything you've done so far is wonderful. The sounds, the smooth animations, it's all great. I think there were 2 level where we *had* to move an obstacle while the ball was rolling. The rest felt like "prep the course by clicking on stuff until it's flat".
I watched more of your GIFs after and realized the satisfying part was supposed to come from clicking blocks into the right spot just in time for the ball to keep course. I guess it depends if you want to lean into the puzzliness or not.
I'm curious what you guys tried with graphics. It's obvious that the ball has a much more refined appearance than the rest of the stage. I wonder if applying shiny reflective materials to the environment would help the aesthetic? Or maybe it's so good right now because of that difference.

Short but sweet; very pleasant to interact with, with a great visual flair.
I'm afraid I don't really see the connection to the theme, though....

For me the game is best played when you have to play and think less. The more the ball just satisfyingly rolls with a gentle ease the better and I would to see this expended.
For the people bashing the game about not following theme. The goal of a gamejam is to start creating a game, and the theme is but a mere excuse to get started. Personally I loved the choice to not continue the theme as this game clearly does better without it. Would love to see more of this kind of playstyle.

Quite an enjoyable experience! [1v1 lol unblocked](https://1v1lolunblocked.onl) is a tactical and competitive shooting game. Join the arena and put up a good fight. It will be easier to fight weapons and destroy enemies if you use available and construct strong walls.
