I mouse with left hand, so my thumb is *not* on Space. And I *still* loved the game, which goes to prove it's good! Oh, and great game name!

Nice! An obvious expansion would be to have multiple gauges to keep stable, and buttons and levers to affect each. Prevent a power plant meltdown!
Verlet rocks! World of Goo may have made them well known, but so much more can be done with it. Like this highly focused building game! I used the level wall as support, dunno if that's an intended solution, I felt like a less accomplished builder for doing so. ':)
Love it! Super impressive that you managed to make an online leaderboard as well. :O Maybe one could also orbit by dragging on the table?
FUN! That's what matters. As a bonus it looks gorgeous.
Simply beautiful! What if the "recording loop" was part of the gameplay? Your moves are recorded on the first ball, then more balls are sent out, and you win if your recorded moves allow them all through.
QWOP *squared*! Love games that challenge what a platformer is.
I feel like a master pilot now, had to crash just to stop and write this. ;) Very cool multi-tasking mechanic! But it breaks because I can't throttle and steer at the same time. Maybe an analogue joystick / arrow keys where up/down controls throttle and left/right controls ailerons? Smart art as well, where it's first-person *and* third-person at the same time!
(Yes, I had to google "ailerons", maybe not a pro pilot after all )
Clever combination of memorization and skill! I think the game would really shine if the movement mechanic itself was more skill-based. Right now it's much like shopping IRL, people always in the way. What if the movement was a slide-until-stop puzzle, or a tumble-a-2x1-block puzzle? It'd turn those games from an IQ-test into an arcade game where you have to be fast but also a bit smart!
Thanks y'all! It's funny how the maximally simple controls (press any key to turn left) can be so complex to explain (yes, right arrow key as well). I made some final edits today to make the first levels simple and clear(er).
Thanks @dioinecail! :D You didn't happen to have any concrete ideas for stuff people would actually like to buy, did you? ':) I actually thought about adding coin pickups! (And players might buy a coin doubler?) But I'm not sure what Snek upgrades one would actually spend those coins on.
Thanks, great feedback @tjm!! What key(s) did you try for restarting? (Enter works, but was clearly not the expected one!)
So smart! Never seen anything like this jump mechanic. The red color shows where the action is, but I wonder if it's possible to make it even more obvious, given that it'll be important for players to figure that out. Very very lovely art as well!
What a great little platformer! Who doesn't love to tear stuff down? (Cats *love* to push stuff off ledges. And the internet loves cats. Hmm... maybe there's a post jam idea in there for you?) It's a bit frustrating when you deadlock because you pushed the crates into an unbudgeable position. I dunno, maybe they're so unstable that they explode a short time after you touch them? This type of situation happens in plenty of games, and often very hard to fix. Anyhow, super cute construction worker, and amazing paper cutout sprite turning animation! :D
I *finally* beat Level 1! Only took me 37 tries. Reason I continued is because the game is fun! There's something about the physics that needs tweaking, but not sure what it is. I hope there'll be a post jam version where I can continue on Level 2.
Love the whole concept! I always try to stay away from 3D precision jumping, because it's so difficult to judge where your jump is gonna land. Maybe it's possible to have the cool 3D look while the gameplay is actually 2D?
Very cool charging mechanic! It's like piloting a bottle rocket. :D I didn't quite grasp what makes you just bounce, and what makes you die. But the checkpoints are a literal life saver.
