Cool idea, and pretty satisfying once you start upgrading. Hard sometimes to tell which direction next island is. The marker is very helpful. Would be cool with more island variations, maybe something to climb to get to a higher island with more coins. Overall a great game.

Great entry with a lot of polish and great graphics! Just controls was a bit difficult to handle at first but it might be because I was playing on computer haha. Well done again

Nice game but hard for me!

Great game! Like the concept and the art, though the camera is a bit too fast for me so I can't keep up  , you could probably have the camera showing around two or three islands and have the cam tween slightly decreased, that way the player can see where the next island is and the cam doesn't change every time (at least wouldn't be noticed). Overall, good job!

Can't continue loading when it loads to the end, can't open the game? Why?

Satisfying game, and actually quite addicting lol, I got a score of 24 PB.

Awesome entry! Graphics are so cute. Everything looks so polished. Well done!

beautiful graphics and nice concept. my only problem is that it's really hard to guess where the next island will appear. overall nice game.

randomphantom 2021-10-06 11:02

Not sure how to jump. sometimes the next island doesn't spawn. Looks like a cool beginning of a cool mobile game though!

martin-magni 2021-10-06 18:39

Love the whole concept! I always try to stay away from 3D precision jumping, because it's so difficult to judge where your jump is gonna land. Maybe it's possible to have the cool 3D look while the gameplay is actually 2D?

This plays really well on mobile! The piano music is really beautiful, in my opinion something heavier with more bpm would have fit the the intensity of the dining islands better (love the shaking! Generally love the artstyle ☺️).

Thanks guys! My first time using a mobile game engine for a game jam! Interesting tbh, at least the engine is nice for making quick games!

Nice-looking and feels polished. I found it a bit easy - I think it could've done with something to spice up the gameplay a bit. Overall, though, good work :)

I really love the graphics and concept! Don't know if it's just me but I find it hard to know where my character will land once I start jump-dashing between islands. Maybe having the little shadow show on the ocean as well will help? The music is cute and fits the aesthetic of the game, and you've done well with the little details in the game. Congrats!

gm637official 2021-10-14 04:56

@jane-wei the sea is a passthru and i use a raycast to mark the shadow.... so yh instead of showing on top of the sea it shows at a plane right below the sea...

Art/Grapgics is really nice with simple gameplay, great job really like it.

pratik-g 2021-10-17 10:10

Simple but Complex, Easy but Hard, Nice Art & sound, Great Concept! Overall Loved it!

emparans 2021-10-17 11:56

Good game. Very easy to learn, but challenging! I've had a great time playing.

kekkodude 2021-10-17 21:41

Solid one! pretty enjoyable. As people have mentioned, it's a bit hard to judge precisely where you are going to land, especially when using the Dash, but i felt to be a part of the challenge. Got nothing to comment really on this one. Just a tiny graphical glitch on the browser version.

Whenever i used the movement keys the "moving rectile", or whatever the proper term for it is (the thingy that indicates what direction you are moving / the controller for movement for mobile users), kept hopping along with the axis i tried moving. Other than that, everything works, solid graphics, music was neat, tip top thumbs up to This one!
