And still the fire burns by Erkberg 2021-10-05T23:30:42Z
I really liked the music and wildfire ambience sound! I appreciated how it got progressively harder and more challenging, with more complicated fire obstacles to navigate. Great level design!

Polished VR game! The voiceover + script were fantastic, and the rock skipping challenges were fun to master. Had to have quite a few goes at the cruise ship, but it was worth it in the end :) Soundscape was fitting at first, and then humorously ironic
I'm lucky enough to have an Oculus Quest - the throwing feels pretty good in there!
It was a bit surreal for me because our team has made a VR game with a bed (of sorts) floating on an ocean before (not for LD49) https://dreamteamaus.itch.io/dreamboat
Music was beautiful, and the town modelling was absolutely adorable! Would be nice if the camera followed the character a bit better, but overall very pleasant and relaxing game!
The story really kept me engaged, not your average tower defence! Really fun! Now back to playing some more runs to uncover the endings!
You did a stacking game!! I thought the theme would be perfect for one! This game is simple to understand but difficult to master! Very fun. Some nice colour schemes as well, with relaxing music. I can see this being one that I will come back to to try and beat my high score!
Thanks for playing our game on twitch Cam =] @clockmaker I really loved the music, it's a banger! Made repeatedly failing the levels as a n00b so much more enjoyable... The comics panels at the beginning were just adorable <3 Sorry I suck at platformers so couldn't get to the end but the mechanic is perfect for the theme and the game feels great!
I had so much fun playing this. The over the top physics and well balanced level design made this a very enjoyable game. Cute aesthetic as well :)
Fun! Took me a while to get the hang of it, but that's just me xD well balanced game. I would play more levels of this :D
AHHHHHHHHHH I played this in the middle of the night and got to the end. RIP The glitch sound is oddly soothing to listen to... Nice concept, it was very satisfying the 'break' each level
The sound effects were cute and funny :) It was also very satisfying to keep collecting bullets and destroy the ladybugs! I defeated about 6 levels and got up to 63,000-ish points but then it said the game was 20% completed, so there must have been a lot more to go!
This is hilarious!!
Thumping good music - perfect with the feel of the game! I must admit I really struggled with the wall-jumping, but otherwise really polished game! Hilarious amounts of blood :p
Cute game design! Nice work with the sound, captures the mood of the cute animals while conveying a sense of danger when an enemy is near.
Unfortunately I don't know if it's because of your new camera tweak or not, but as the camera follows the penguin very closely, it jumps a lot every time I die and splash back in the water. Otherwise the camerawork is fine, it's really just the respawn point that was an issue.
I enjoyed your take on the theme. Well done!
Really really cool concept and fun to play - I enjoyed playing through several times trying to see if I can get all three endings! I actually found it the most challenging to get to the ending where you're caught!
The music complemented the scenario nicely and really nice UI and graphic design too. Overall very well polished, short and sweet game. One of my favourites so far for originality with the theme
If your team is into visual novels, feel free to check out my team's submission =]
Interesting concept, made me laugh xD
Thanks for playing our game! I cracked up at this: "Maulmart? Accostco? Targeted? Unsafeway? Best Buy?" The music is amazing
Impressive graphics and environment for a 3-day jam, wow! I got stuck at the 6 gunners level, couldn't find any gunners just a bunch of men and women wanting to punch me up.
I want to rate your graphics but seems like you opted out for some reason??
Great music! I really enjoyed the wrong notes the orchestra would play when you screw up, very entertaining! The difficulty scaled nicely and presented a challenge towards the end
Unique idea and fits the theme so well! I enjoyed juggling between the two game tasks. Challenging to master but fun. Thanks!
Really cool puzzle game! would totally download this as a mobile game for my daily puzzles :p
So fun, game looks and feels really good. I love the screen wobble on impact, really brings home the unstable theme
so satisfying to destroy the stacks with the love cannon :p
Is there a button for rotating the shapes? Would love that cos sometimes the slabs fall flat and I want them standing up etc, or even to try stacking them at an angle
I really love the graphics and concept! Don't know if it's just me but I find it hard to know where my character will land once I start jump-dashing between islands. Maybe having the little shadow show on the ocean as well will help? The music is cute and fits the aesthetic of the game, and you've done well with the little details in the game. Congrats!
Damn I really want to read the story but I keep dying at the second run (I'm happy that I got past the first run at least!) This is really cool combination of art, story and the jumping game.
This is really relaxing, perfect in every way :) Thank you for making this!
When you mentioned the SOPHIE concert I felt so sad :'( Lots of relatable references in there hehe :3 Really cool that you're making this kind of game to help spread awareness of different experiences and gender expressions! Dig it, and keep doing what you're doing :)
We made a visual novel as well, completely different genre though :p
