Got to 93.600 points. Amazed that the ship was a one hit point away from dying (my bonuses! :( ). The basics are good and I liked the idea but the beginning felt way too slow. The first 3-4 levels were really slow, but then the pacing got well, specially with the gift boxes. I really loved that the bonus were permanents and that my ship was getting stronger. I'd add some BG graphics and maybe some FX. You should look for the video Juice it or lose it. Graphics were pretty good, audio was nice. Keep up the good work! Solid entry!

Thank you @ardorugus! No specific reason actually, I was looking for bugs in pixel art and the "easyest" one was a lady bug, so that's what I've went with it. lol

Nice game! I like the art, and shredding through enemies with tons of bullets is very satisfying. One complaint is that the movement feels a bit slippery and fast, and it's hard to position in front of the ladybugs. Great game though!

fun shmup, got to 160k score and I loved the sound effects! I would say though that it felt a little tedious at times because of the incredibly low fire rate at the beginning and the huge health pools of the enemies at the end. Overall had a good time shooting down some bugs.

Fun game! The movement was a little slippery but overall a nice little game, with a creative interpretation of a game's bugs. Great work!

The sound effects were cute and funny :) It was also very satisfying to keep collecting bullets and destroy the ladybugs! I defeated about 6 levels and got up to 63,000-ish points but then it said the game was 20% completed, so there must have been a lot more to go!

Those voice made SFX literally killed me XD i was so not expecting that. Nice entry, it would have been interesting if those bugs had some AI to move or something that would have propel the game to a next level. thanks for your entry!

Resetting was a bit annoying as the start is quite slow but as my gun got upgraded it was quite a bit more fun!

Hey I played it! Interesting take on unstable software. I made it to about %20, it could use some different enemy movements and weapons etc to make it more fun

The idea is clever (especially that game over screen that almost made me had a heart attack) and the sounds were really fun (ta dam!).

The only downside i see in the game is the start that are a bit slow. I was thinking in complain about the enemies standing still but oh boy, when they pack up the thing turn into a bullethell!

Nice art, fun audio, and I enjoyed the ever increasing powerups - though I would have liked it to get even more crazy later on instead of just increasing spread - add some homing bullets or rockets or lasers or something to make it feel more 'buggy/unbalanced' ;)

As others have said the start was a tiny bit slow. Also I didn't realize you could fly up and down for a while - it's my mistake, but maybe some little clue you can do it like a couple of sideways attacking enemies that force you to move vertically would be nice.

I enjoyed this game! at the beginning it felt painfully slow, maybe have a faster shooting rate, as there is not much challenge in the enemies. I really liked the presentation and menus, including the game over blue screen. Great entry!

its a nice game just the bullets could shoot a bit faster so it didn't drag out for too long but good game over all well done.

I saw you post, soo here I am :) You have already received good feedback, I will add that after a while, powerups don't add anything anymore and you lose your motivation to continue fighting. Developing the speed and the amount of ammunition makes you want to play on and have even faster and more powerful weapons, but at some point it stops. I see that this is your third jam and the others also did not come out of the ranking :( It's good that you don't give up, the game has potential for development. It has good pixel art, cool original sounds & geek humor. Next time think about the web version of your game- some people just don't want to download games. Also make a cover of your game, this is important to get attention! Good luck! & and stay motivated!

hey cool submission, i enjoy shooter games like this, the beginning of the game is a bit slow, but cool. Maybe next time to get people to play throw some flair into the submission page to garner interest! Cool submission tho!

A classic shootem up game with a bug theme. It does start a bit slow and having only 1hp makes it pretty annoying when you die after having a bunch of upgrades. The game over screen is scary :D

Pretty interesting shmup! I think it just need a background and some epic music to make it more pleasant. However I already enjoys the bonuses and it was fun to avoid the bugs. Well done!

so after like 40 tries I finally made it sound and art were pretty cool, start levels were really slow but then it got really fast overall good one :v:
