This is amazing, honestly. I love relaxing/meditative games like this. Also literally started laughing when my guy started hiccuping and sneezing and stuff lol. He sneezes so much - must have allergies or something.

I noticed that if you don't move the mouse long enough, the camera starts vibrating. Unsure if this simulates shaking hands, or is just wonky math. :P

I loved this! I was waiting for the "unstable" part of this to come in and when it did it really made me giggle! hee hee! I guess the one thing I would say is the white font on top of the light tree leaves for the current score was pretty hard to read. But thanks for making this wholesome game, I was worried the games for the theme "unstable" would be bummers.

Brilliant. Very funny, for such a simple gain. Loved how the coughing and sneezing, became your enemies, rather then anything in the world. It was only towards the end of my film, did I realise I was meant to be taking decent, 'green' shots. :) Really good.

@corbeng Thank you very much for your feedback! I shortened the game right before the submission deadline and I agree with you. I think it's a lot better to have less film and to play twice than to have one long session. :)

@holyblackcat It was supposed to simulate shaking hands/instability BUT my randomizing math sometimes does have some wonky results lol. Good job on your score! Very neat little game, it was indeed relaxing and a nice break from all the unstable games. Controls were fun, graphics and animations were beautiful, topped with a great sound track (and sfx). Felt like a non-violent shooting game xD

This is really well done! The pixel art is absolutely gorgeous, and the hiccups and sneezes were a nice touch. The quality of the sounds is also really good. If I had to nitpick about anything (and I'm reallllly nitpicking here), I'd like to have more of a sense of what the score means rather than it just being an arbitrary number. But again, this is a super tiny nitpick. This was a really fun and unique take on the theme.
To myself: stop sneezing or coughing please! I feel so good, just like taking a relaxing vacation with your fantastic audio and art.

This was great! Such an interesting and unique take on the theme, and it is a really nice and relaxing game after all these other unstable things :P The hickups were a really cool idea to implement the unstableness in the game, but to be honest they never bothered me that much. They usually did not appear when I was taking pictures of animals
I was really hoping to have a collection of all the pictures I took at the end, but I guess this was too much work for limited time :P I really loved the art a lot! I am always a fan of pixel art in general, but here I think you truly captured the forest very well. The animals were all amazing as well. Together with the calming music and sound effects this was a really immersive experience! Great job! I loved this :D

That was a fun experience. The art is remarkable and the take on theme is really creative. I also really enjoyed the chill ambience.
But I felt like the instability of your camera wasn't really a huge problem but rather that animals sometimes move too fast too take a good picture (and I still feel like I have to photograph them even though I could just wait for a slower one). I would have loved to look at the pictures that I took but that's probably just because the art is so good, so this isn't really a complaint :D

That was pretty fun, I enjoyed it. I was really hoping to see all the pictures I took displayed at the end. Also it would have been nice to be able to take a picture of the same animal multiple times. Interesting take on the theme though. I thought the sneezing and hiccups was funny and they were unexpected.

I liked how my tendency to rush things was really punished with this game. Patience is really rewarded and its trickier to get a nice picture than imagined, which was aided a lot due to all the random factors you coded in. The game had great polish, peaceful atmosphere and music, and stuck to the theme really well. (PS I got professional and felt great about it :P)

Very cute and atmospheric game. I liked the hiccup idea, very unusual. The game is very meditative, but even so, I would complicate it a little and increase the purity of the camera shake. Very beautiful music and nice pixel graphics.

@pixelydian I played the web version on Firefox and did not hear any audio. I just replayed it on Opera GX and it works. I see what you mean (hiccups/cough/sneeze and this moves the camera), I updated the rating.

Wow this is an incredible entry, I really loved the art, and the piano is so relaxing. The theme of this jam is also applied in such an original way, using hiccups and sneezes as the source of instability is a brilliant idea. One very small thing that I would suggest is to lower the shaking of the camera when you're standing still, I feel it's a bit too jittery especially if the aim is to reward patient players. Other than that, excellent job!

Wow, this game was really relaxing. Actually had a great time playing this. I've been wanting to start doing nature journaling and drawing too so this is pretty cool to play.

Great game, really, I cannot say it is "fun", but it made me chuckle and smile like an idiot in front of a screen because of the nice feeling it gave me :D
A relaxing experience, apart from the quite bodily sound effects which were nicely done! The animals are cute and in my two sessions seeing a bear just once made me think if there's more rare animals yet to be discovered. Sometimes the animals take a while to appear and the scene is completely empty. In these moments I wished for some animation in the background to make the forest itself seem alive. I hoped to find the titular tripod in the end!

People have already highlighted a lot of great points, like the wonderful art and music, and the humorous ramp up of the different hiccups, coughs, and so on; those were a great touch beyond just the shakiness. Like others have said as well, I would have loved to see my pictures at the end, but we were limited on time after all.
Last additional point I'll add that I have not really seen so far scrolling through the comments is that I really liked the detail of those different noises, such as the sneezes and so on, causing the animals to react and run away faster! Really nice touch. Excellent submission :thumbsup:

Smooth (haha) camera with well made events like coughing, hiccups or sneezing. Even though the camera movement is unstable, it feels super smooth and satisfying. And I love that the sneezing scares the animals — I almost died laughing!

This was a really nice game. I love the description - it's true, this jam is full of horror games, this was a great break from those :) So relaxing. I love the addition of coughs and hiccups - gave me just enough anxiety so that it wasn't a complete snooze fest. I love that I get to see my rating at the end - I'm a Hobbyist, that checks out! :)
I really loved this, thanks for the relaxing take on this theme. My only wish was to get to keep the pixel photographs at the end! My best photo subject was a black bear that went running by.

Very relaxing expierience. Music and art here is outstanding! Also the concept is pretty unique, haven't seen any other game approaching the topic this way. Maybe some indicator for player that sneeze is coming would make a game little more fair ;)

Almost relaxing if it wasn't for constant hicups, sneezes and coughs! :D Great art and music, getting green shots wasn't that hard since there doesn't seem to be any time pressure. But that's ok, not every game needs to be super tense and hard.
Hicup is a mecanic that more games need.

Really loved the idea. Oh my, i really need a tripod. The hiccup, the mouse that didn't move fast enough, God. It was like relaxing but getting nervous at the same time.

This is so beautiful! I would love to be able to review the photos I made at the end, and I'd also love some noticeable feedback right after each shot to clearly see how well I did (maybe the value of the shot in corresponding color flying up slowly + a sound, that sort of thing). But overall this is a solid core idea that can be expanded with new fun mechanics pretty easily, I enjoyed it thoroughly!
Oh, and the art is just \*chef's kiss\*
