I really liked the "arcade" minigame flavor. An entertaining game :)

I really liked the "arcade" minigame flavor. An entertaining game :)
Really good game, (one of the few I have bookmarked) really creative gameplay :D
An original twist to the classic jump scrolling game, the theme and graphics are nice, maybe I would have liked to see more ideas on the mechanics :)
Very nice mechanics, I like that it is hard but I wouldn't punish the players by restarting the level, I'd rather have less stars for finishing the level if I take damage and if I don't get all the leaves, but at least get farther in the levels to try all the features! :D I hope I gave a useful feedback, overall it is a very funny game
Adorable aesthetics, nice music, really creative idea for the gameplay. Maybe I found it a bit hard to stack the cubes
I like it, but it is a bit too bugged, I think you are allowed to fix the bugs and reupload it because some are gamebreaking :)
There is nothing to say. It is an innovative idea, great concept, really fun. I bookmarked it and hope you will expand it :D
This game is really fun and creative! Loving platformers it is a very refreshing one, great job!
Cool graphics, I had fun! Not really much to say, maybe only that the character's feet are under the ground, but overall great job!
Amazing feel, I liked the music a lot, the short starting story was cool. The only "useful" critical feedback I can give is that its a bit too hard not to bump everywhere with the fact you have to rotate the direction, but great game nonetheless, thank you!
Challenging, nice music. Gave me a bit of a throwback to the grind sections in ratchet and clank, I had fun overall :D
I enjoyed it! I hope you expand on it post-jam, I'd like to see what you would add to this core, the premise is solid and interesting. :) Also congratulations for your first time making handmade graphics (it was my first time as well in this jam) and for the music!
Nice concept! Maybe it could have done with more polish :)
The game boy vibes were nice, the gameplay is a bit hard but fits my taste, the only thing I didn't enjoy were the movement controls that change the facing direction with a strange policy... It wasn't so comfortable combined with the shooting. Overall a good game!
Simple and very fun mechanics, I really like the fact you have to click to gather your ingredients on the other screen, really nice spin on the concept, thank you!
Thank you for releasing your game :) I had fun overall, it lacked a bit of progression but it gave me some nice Flappy Bird vibes!
I loved it, I bookmarked it, please continue it post-jam, we need to hatch MORE dragons! 8D
The game mechanics is really fun, I hope you expand on it and make more levels post-jam! I bookmarked it, I'll stick around, great job :)
The concept is interesting, I find the graphics of the match3 elements too similar to each other in shape/colour so it stresses a bit the eyes and it is hard to grasp the whole picture. I'd really like to play it again with more distinctive shapes and colours :)
Nice game, it really made me laugh and enjoy myself, it's a shame the progression is not so refined, but it's a game jam. Overall great work, I hope I'll get to play a post-jam refined version :)
Bookmarked it! It really kept me entertained, I liked it a lot :D Sometimes the jumping is exploitable!
I love it. The contrast between the strange positions he gets in, the music, and the reactor made me laugh so much. I had so much fun with a simple but polished gameplay, thank you! :)
Thank you for your feedback! 1. You need to feed the specific food he asks for next to him, our UI is not that great at this time unfortunately.. You cannot feed other food to customers, throwing dishes will only calm them down 2. Thanks, we will work on the palette :D 3. Plates don't fall, they are just unstable, if you swing them with enough force they deflect bullets!
@shores @thorpalsson @pixelydian @yikescloud Thank you! Sadly we didn't manage time well enough to fit the feedback and sounds... it was a mistake, but I feel we are learning a lot from this experience
@darthwaxus Greetings Un :D We were thinking about including a short in-game tutorial
@tayl1r Thanks! What kind of collateral damage were you picturing?
@itzemii I think we can easily extend the controls to support gamepads, thank you!
@evileptic Thanks :) ! Would you like to share some ideas or advice with us?
Thanks to everyone for your feedback, it is our first Jam and we are really glad we attempted it. We are still working on it and wish to publish a post-jam version, if you're interested, stick around :)
Very relaxing music and feelings from this game, nice graphics, the bin mechanic was not clear enough but the rest I found it polished and overall fun!
Loved it. You dealt with the "randomizing a stat" aspect in a creative and elegant way and thanks to your game I've learned it myself. The graphics during the dialogues are unique, the ones in the shooter part are a bit less polished. The game plays a bit hard, but I bookmarked it and I'll master it. I really hope you consider working on it post-jam, I'm curious to see how it can evolve, great job! :D
I really enjoyed it! I like "dark" themes, the gameplay is interesting and funny. I think it is hard to convey a dark theme with a funny gameplay, I hope you'll continue it post-jam and add a few more events ( maybe even some darker or absurd ones ;D )
Great game, really, I cannot say it is "fun", but it made me chuckle and smile like an idiot in front of a screen because of the nice feeling it gave me :D
Simple and fun idea, also very challenging :)
@bmanstudio thank you very much! We tried to face the problem of "you can just shoot randomly", but it is not an easy enemy to defeat!! From an external perspective, do you have any suggestions on how to tackle it?
@iqoribou There are a lot of unexplored design paths we can take, we might indeed redesign a bit the gameplay after the jam. We went the "mayhem" path since a complete redesign would have taken too long.
if it's not too much to ask, during your playtest did you come up with some interesting ways that could rework the gameplay? (even completely!)
@manogugas I personally agree with the readability issue, and it was a mistake on my side to overlook it a bit in the design phase. I apologize if it has compromised the fun of the game D: I hope you still had fun though
@philocode We are sad too that the cats went unfed, we nearly changed the whole winning conditions to a game where you had to feed N cats as fast as you can to win. A time attack game. Maybe it would have been a better choice? Who knows, we might prototype it! Thank you for your love :D
@bezedh Thank you, noted, the audio effect will be equalized or changed with something more subtle (post-jam) I hope you and your mouse stick around for more :)
@misterkeefe @connorgrail Thank you both for your kind words :D Do you have any suggestions?
@thomas-bringer Thanks, it took a lot of caffeine to implement the leaderboard xD We're glad you enjoyed it.
@blueanoli We love cats too. We serve cats. As it should be. (No cat is threatening me while I'm writing this)
@diamyn-v Thanks! We have loads of SFX for this game in our assets, we had to remove some because it was too chaotic xD But we'll try the best of our ability to add more in the future
@dk5000p Thank you very much, we're very happy that you had a good time and we apologize for the leaderboard issue, if restarting the game does not show it you can message me and I will add your score on the server ( this could be your ticket to the first spot xD )
This goblin is a little mastermind of evil xD, and I like it made me feel a bit like the Grinch. It is very original, and I'm curious to know how you came up with the idea!
It's kind of hard to give some useful feedback because the game is pretty solid, I can say that post jam you could make some levels similar to the tutorial where you "have to" deliver a certain number of specific parcels?
