Absolutely hilarious - the audio is stuck in a loop though. Great mechanics on this game, I love this idea!
Omg this game was so funny. The game mechanic was also super cool and fit the game's theme very well! Overall, I thought the game was very good! The constant talking audio was a bit much though haha.
@grimmpaperman - Ya I noticed that as well, I apologize you didn't get to play!
@john-luke-lusty Thank you!
@karsinis Thank you very much. Good point to keep in mind.
Echoing @grimmpaperman, I also didn't get to enjoy the game but I just LOVE the premise. IF you do an itch.io page/submission, could you ping this thread??
@teenythanos Sure maybe we can give that a try tomorrow! Thanks for the suggestion.
The voiceover is the greatest part of this game. The time mechanic was inspired, and made for some pretty good puzzles. I do wish after the initial voice over, the game just switched to a music loop because I don't think I would enjoy my boss saying the same speech over and over again while I'm trying to package my boxes.
@kwiper Thanks for the kind words. We will be sure to tell upper management your concerns and maybe they will stop talking so much!
@teenythanos & @grimmpaperman - We have resubmitted the game under itch.io! Let me know if this works better for you.
The mechanic is really cool and original, but yeah the voiceover did get stuck in a loop. Well done though, this was a great submission!
Fun little puzzle game! The voiceover being in a loop was a little much but otherwise a very enjoyable! Well done!
Hi, this is your boss, Beef Jezos!
Interesting concept, it got really interesting when another portal got introduced. Unfortunately I also ran into the voiceover loop issue, which was slightly annoying. (Nothing show-stopping of course!) Thanks for a fun entry
Nice one guys! Really inspired puzzles and I just love Beff Jezos using time manipulation to improve efficiency of his employees, I really love intelligent satire and you definetely nailed it! Big Up!!
Edit: I think the voiceover constantly repeating you what to do, well simbolizes the annoying boss exploiting you, so in the end it might be seen as an enrichment of the experience rather than an audio bug
Really cool! From the beginning the name makes me laugh a lot
The puzzles are well done and are interesting to solve. Not to difficult, not to hard: the "Ah-Ah!" effect is always there. The mechanics, the graphics and the audio are all cleverly wrapped togheter.
God Job Guys!
Good game! I wasted some time! the chief beef jezos is a stroke of genius. The puzzles are very beautiful. Very interesting game. The beef voice repeats itself a little too much Good job!
@unbansheee Thank you. I have updated to where it should no longer loop at all. Even when restarting levels.
@flatgub Thank you! =)
@cppchriscpp Wow the boss himself! Audio should now be fixed. Thank you.
@donatello That was kind of our excuse for the loop to be left but it got so annoying and the people have spoken! It should be fixed now. Thank you!
@g5-leonardo We appreciate those kind words! Grazie!
@raffaello Always good to hear we created something that wasted someone's time in a good way ;) Thank you. Voice should be fixed now.
Amazing work on the puzzles! Voiceover is super funny, but came in a bit unexpectedly and got mixed with the music, making it a bit confusing what he was saying. The idea and concept are very well thought out.
Beside the voice looping, you can try to insert subtitles or to raise the voice volume (or lower the music volume). I had a hard time to figure out what Jezos was saying, so I just learned mechanics by myself.
Beside this problem, puzzles are innovative and well built. They have a good difficulty progression (once I undestand mechanics), never simple but players can say for sure that they can find the solution.
I definitely would play this game after some improvement (and a better structured tutorial, with more levels to really understand mechanics).
Really cool puzzle game!
It wasn't obvious to me that spacebar reset the level - I agree that a structured tutorial like @michelangelo suggested would go a long way to add some polish.
Cool game! Really fun puzzle mechanics and I liked how they got more complex as the game went on. They were a good difficulty (I could complete them but had to try multiple times). I would definitely recommend adding that the space key resets the level to your description, because I spent a good while having to restart the whole game if I made a mistake. Overall, really funny and well executed idea. Great job!
A fun puzzle game, would love to see this expanded with more levels and mechanics!
Great job! I really enjoyed your core game loop and found your puzzles provided the right amount of complexity.
Really liked it! The concept was fun, although I must admit it took me a while to figure out what was happening and how to play properly, once I understood it, I appreciated it even more! The art was effective, and the sounds were on point (And I loved the voice clips, btw). So, apart from that, pretty nice game!
The game mechanics is really fun, I hope you expand on it and make more levels post-jam! I bookmarked it, I'll stick around, great job :)
Figuring out the dynamic of the last stage was a cool moment. There's some nice depth with the gameplay here!
very good game, i really like your concept
A nice short and sweet game! I loved the goofy narration at the start, though it took me a while to wrap my head around the concept and to start progressing! I would love to see more levels - it feels like it ended just as I was getting a grasp on things!
Fun puzzle, and the last level was a good amount of difficulty. The music was too loud at the beginning to hear hear the instructions, but at least the music is good.
