Maybe the default box fall speed could be a tad faster, but once you start chaining multiple jumps together, it feels really good. The Slow-mo effect helps a bunch.

A good exploration the theme! To give the player the choice to end the game is a good mechanic in theme and narrative design.
Highscore: 19
Love it! Good visual feedback when jumping and the slow motion effect is brilliant!
The game is a lot of fun. I was a little bit confused at the start and soon later I was kicking other boxes with the current box
The music was really good!! And it was easy to get used to the controls. Plus, the slow motion effect helps a lot, as has been said. Congratulations!
The kicking mechanic is fun, but the wait in the beginning of the game is a bit boring, and reduces the drive to try one more time.
The jumping and bouncing feels really nice. The boxes falling off the tilting ship was kind of frustrating for me because its super hard to aim precisely. Very fun game overall!
So nice. Well done.
very nice graphics and game is fun to play.I like the slow-motion effect, nice job
I'm crazy about this game!
It took a little while to figure out, but once I did it was really fun! I didn't get very high scores though because I was too greedy. It's very tricky to aim the boxes onto the right spot on the ship to keep it from getting off balance (maybe if you could choose direction you shoot the box with mouse/thumbstick instead of by angle with player?)
Fun little game! The main character is handsome, the slow motion of kicking boxes is so cool and gives the player plenty of reaction time
Really nice entry, simple but a bit hard to master ^^ mechanics are well found, slow-motion to help pushing box in right direction is one of the best idea ! The sound is a bit too loud(compare to level of my other open application ^^)
i loved this! the air control, air dashing with jump on boxes, chaining, the retro sound. All of it! Nice one!
Took a hot minute to get the hang of the movement controls, but once I did it felt pretty sweet to sail around through the air kicking crates back to the boat. I would've maybe liked to see some more recovery options to stop my uncoordinated butt from flying into the abyss below the ship quite so often, but that's a pretty minor gripe. Loving the time dilation when you're near a crate too. Overall, a pretty solid entry all around.
It is very pleasing to play after getting the hang of the movement! Shooting boxes into each other and getting 2-3 boxes onto the boat at once feels pretty cool. Congrats!
Lovely art, cool mechanic and nice addition letting the player end whenever he wants. Regarding the music, it seemed unfit for the game but it might be only me.
The chained jump-kicking is fun, but man is it a drag waiting until that's worth doing.
Very nice! Really cool game mechanic, loved the fluidity of the controls. Very impressive jam entry, would love to play a post-jam version with some more progression added in the future :)
Super fun! My only complaint would be it feels too zoomed out but apart from that I loved it!
Really cool game. I needed some tries to get the hang if it but I enjoyed playing it :)
Really love the art.
This was really cool. I've never played anything like it. Creative and fun. I like how it slows down at the right time so you can aim the shot. Really great entry!
Sick core mechanic, i love it! Maybe some polishing in the slow mo so that can be more controlable to the player will and handling. In overall, great entry!
C'est vraiment très cool. Bien ouej
There is nothing to say. It is an innovative idea, great concept, really fun. I bookmarked it and hope you will expand it :D
Nice mechanics, very fun to play! The slow motion effect was very cool!
Nice game and quite unique! I think that boxes that you did not hit should not count toward final score (maybe boxes that you did not hit should just go through the ship). It would be nice to have some boxes that you should avoid in the air. Anyway. It was fun to play.
Cool game! It's a lot of fun to jump off the boxes, trying to make them land in your ship, keep it balanced, and kick away explosives. I wish I could use up and down keys to help steer my guy in the air just a little bit, I think it would feel a little better. The artwork is AMAZING, great job overall!
This game is so fun. Probably of all games I've played this jam so far (which has been a lot), this game feels like it has the most potential post-jam. I feel like the one thing that this game cries out for is some kind of progression, or even a rogue-like metagame or something over it would add a lot. The second to second gameplay of chaining jumps and pushing your luck feels amazing. Great sound and music choice and really nice art style. Great job!
Wow, that was fun! I expected yet another box stacking game, but the jump-chaining mechanic made it a really dynamic and action-packed game. I loved jumping from one box to another, using boxes to shoot other boxes from the sky and gain multiple points in one shot.
One thing I think could work well here is to give the player a bit more targeting control. Right now, targeting is highly dependent on your movement direction, distance to the center of the box and movement speed. The speed alone makes it difficult to target quickly enough, but the turning rate also changes based on your distance from the center of the box, which sometimes makes it way too difficult. Most of the time I've abandoned even attempting to get a box near my ship, just using it as a bounce-off point to get to the next one.
The exploding boxes were a nice idea. First time I just thought it was a different kind of box, maybe worth more points, so I managed to place it right in the center of a nice pile of 10 basic boxes. When it exploded and I realized what I've done I was both angry and impressed. :P Maybe they could also be used in a different way - if they exploded a couple of seconds after being hit by the player, they could use it to shoot down whole groups of boxes in a vaguely uniform direction.
Overall, it's a really good entry. Good mechanics, nice audio-visual feedback and fun gameplay.
