Awesome! I love the sounds and music. I was frustrated at first but once I figured things out I had a great time.
This is my favorite LD49 game so far. I haven't played them all obviously but none of them took hold of me like this. Nice job!

This game gave me a hit of nostalgia. Reminds me of the OG slenderman game!
Liked this one a lot! More chill than I expected. I really enjoyed the SFX actually. A little bit hard to aim the pickaxe but I had a good time.

Wrangling physics was a challenge for me as I'd never even tried to use Gamemaker's physics engine before. I think I'd like to have made a more "deterministic" system that made the game feel a little more fair but I'm happy with what we got for our first game jam.

@mithoskuu Yeah… I’m not sure what happened with that. It was compiling fine for me through the entire jam but in the last couple of hours started giving me trouble with windows defender. I had to disable it to build and upload to itch. I’m not sure exactly what the issue is here or how to troubleshoot it. Sorry for the scare ðŸ˜
@kitkii I honestly loved implementing that skid. I'm so happy someone noticed, lol.

I really liked the audio in this game (the clicking of the lamp, the muffled footsteps, the shadowy whispers). I had fun playing through this. I feel like you can really build off this concept in the future if you want and make something where you're juggling more tasks.
