The game is very moody and looks interesting with this low-resolution textures and I guess some post-processing effects, definitely something that pops, even with the simple idea behind it. Liked it :)
fyi loading main menu after the game over is broken, didn't have the mouse for some reason, so restarting the game if an attempt failed it is
This game gave me a hit of nostalgia. Reminds me of the OG slenderman game!
The game is pretty moody but kinda slow and the floating stone buddha face didn't seem that scary

Very spooky with a kind of classic slenderman style game loop.
I wish there were landmarks to help me kind of have a rough idea of where I'm going and where I've been, and maybe make the sprint bar visible somehow to the player to help me manage my sprint energy.
The mood and sound of the game really sells the mood and I definitely got into the creepy atmosphere, I love the bizarre enemy design, not what I expected to jump out from the darkness but still scary!
Really creepy and the temple guardian dude gave me a jump scare. The sound effects are great and the controls/movement are well done. Nice work!
niiiiiiiicee! spooky spooks. i was thrilled! almost like amnesia scary.. finding switches didn't feel like i was finding them but like i was just stumbling upon them and that kinda took away from the experience. other then that its alll good the visuals are on point. i really like the enemy

I got some slender man vibes here, great mood on this one! Turning to see a giant head managed to be funny and scary at the same time :D
Feels like a very mid 2010's horror game, in a good way. I really liked the models and textures, really well done. Honestly though, I think it should've been darker, that way it would've been even scarier, and you could make the switches light up more. Then make the bad guy make some spoopy sounds, that'll scare my pants off
Good little old school horror game. I'm very bad with horror overall but i wanted to give this a shot, now with some feedback: i think just the head being a bit bigger would already be scarier but not in a cheap jumpscare kind of way, would just be more unsettling and threatening. Also the lack of landmarks makes this really difficult to keep track of where i am, i basically have to keep mental track of where the start is. I did however really enjoyed it, the atmosphere is eerie and the sound design compliments it really well, the old school horror graphics work wonders here, overall it's a very fun and cohesive experience, the timer is also good to keep me from just hiding too much, very cool entry, congratulations!

Nice spooky environment. The floating head really got me haha. Nice touch.
I always like entering a game jam with a personal objective of what I want to achieve (or improve on). Did you have a personal goal?
So in my opinion, the level design was a little too large (or a little complex) for the time limit, especially without any additional aids. Some ways to change that could be: * Breaking the puzzle off from the main room in 4 separate paths, that way it's easier to mentally "check off" an area (maybe you did that, and I couldn't tell because I kept losing track of which direction I started facing) * Maybe giving the player a way to mark where they've been, like a spray paint can or something. You could even limit the amount of paint, for challenge!
Anyway, those are just some ideas that came to mind. Overall, the mood was well done!
Something to think about for the future: maybe you could think of a way to integrate the timer more into the game, like it's the timer on the elevator returning to the surface, so you need to make it back. Some screen shakes when the timer ticked down and the sound played would have sold the effect!
By the way, if you sit on the main menu enough, the ambience track stops. Maybe not playing on a loop?
The maze was suuuuuper hard to navigate - some help would be appreciated. You absolutely nailed the creepy vibes!
I really like the atmosphere of the game. I think some visual feedback on the amount of stamina would help, as well as increasing the amount of stamina there is. I might just be bad at these games but I had a tough time shaking off an enemy when they found me.

I like the idea of using sound to find my way through a maze, and it worked well with headphones. I sort of ignored the other sounds though, which probably led me to walk straight into danger. Well done, made me jump.

The game had a very good mood and I like that additional obstacles were added over time. really increased the stress level. Some landmarks would have been useful, but the current layout was very effective at getting someone lost.
You did a good job using the lighting and audio to hit the creepy mood.
I usually don't go for horror games so my lack of experience didn't help me here. Once the head found me I was kind of worried in that if I slowed down it will get me but also comforted I knew where it was so it won't jump out at me... and while I was thinking that it caught me. I did get 6 of the switches at least.
Very creepy. I appreciated the stone head… felt different from standard horror fare. Seven switches seemed a bit much to me, but that might be because I don’t usually play this sort of game.
A very creepy and nostalgic game... the mood was great, visuals and audio on point, great job!

Что страшнее - ужасная голова или ужасные рычаги? Рычаги явно страшнее - их много, они издают жуткие звуки, и никогда не знаешь, когда они на тебя набросятся...
It was scary, the atmosphere was there, it's just a shame sometimes I can't run and most of the time I can't outrun the moving stone. Still a good game though with some improvements.
What a great little game! I only wish there was a sprint bar so I knew when my energy was gone/refilled but otherwise super solid and spooky! Gave me quite a few jumps!!

aah didn't actually expect something to be there! nice atmosphere!
It was lacking maybe some unique assets so i can know where i am Overall nice job !
The game reminds me of that Slenderman game from a few years ago. The atmosphere is there: it's creepy, claustrophobic and unsettling which is exactly why I would play this kind of game. The low-fi textures also definitely add to it. I wish there was some variety in the environments though, break that visual routine more to keep the player's interest. Navigation wasn't too much of a problem for me as it seemed like I would always find my way back to the elevator, no matter where I would be heading. I'm not sure if it was intentional but if it was, that's great. It's subjective, but for me, the floating buddha head wasn't very scary unfortunately which detracts from the horror element. Last, it would be nice if there was more gameplay than just activating switches, although Slenderman was also just about picking notes up, it makes me want more. Overall, still a good attempt at the genre.

I liked the effects on the textures
7 very stressful and overwhelming minutes, I guess that was what you were looking for hahaha. Very cool setting. good job
The low resolution dark visual, and the audio combined, achieved what you were probably looking for. I liked the game. Good job
very atmospheric game I love it, ambient sounds are well made as well

That is, is it just running through a conventional labyrinth with orientation by sound? Quite peculiar)

'Ha-ha, how "Scary"' - me, after deliberately going towards the floating head. "Oh S^&%#$*!" - Me, losing each time after that, after head came around the corner :)
Either I am easy to spook, or the game is spooky itself - anyway, nice entry, 5/5 Mood :)

You create a very scary environment with very little components. Well done!
The actual gameplay was secondary and that is fine.
I would have loved to see what happens after finding all 7 switches.
Interesting game. I really got kinda anxious seeing if there was anything following me. My only problem is the ending is a little weak.

I like the atmosphere, but I wish it had a bit more gameplay.
I like the eerie mood of the game, and the PS1-esque artstyle is always weird charming. The limited view distance helps give a feeling of being trapped. Ambient sound effects are good at making players very anxious, but the jumpscare was kind of weak, honestly. Anyone who has played Slender knows the kind of gameplay to expect, and it works entirely fine here. I love the subtle headbob-a lot of games tend to overdo it, but it's not too crazy here. Overall, nice work.

This game is very atmospherical. I realy like the PS1 graphics usage here, it's very nostalgical. Of course, a good entry for this LD. Congrats!

I am awful with directions, but even so I was able to get 5/7 of the notes. A few more landmarks would have been nice to keep track of where I've been, and possibly a jarring audio cue whenever the stone head is nearby would be a good addition. Overall I had a good time, for making it!
Very good atmosphere with this one. I liked that the breakers made sounds to make them easier to locate. I think a good edition to the game would be to add traps. As some have mentioned, more landmarks throughout the level would have helped with getting a better sense of where you are - but besides that well done!

This game definitely spooked me more than I expected it to...Maybe someday I'll come back to finally beat this!!
