hhahaha! The concept is really funny! But why shoot me just cause I'm using your wifi man? haha

hhahaha! The concept is really funny! But why shoot me just cause I'm using your wifi man? haha
Simple controls and great mechanic! It's really funny. Loved the art style!
I think my cat will starve! haha I like the idea you had for a fishing mechanic
I thought it will be a completed different kind of game after the initial intro. It was a nice surprise. I liked the antecipation the bag of trash give to you so you can dash in the right moment.
Un-Stable is just a genius way to take the theme! hahaha. Very clever! The art is really nice! Also like the game fell a lot!
"Spontaneous, lively, and flammable, KEPRWs take enormous pleasure in discovering the unknown. But once you’ve discovered the unknown, it becomes the known" This is so me! hahaha Awesome job!
I love math games, but i think it's pretty hard to make them look like a "not educational game" and make them really fun. You have achieved it. Your game is really cool to play. Good work
Really fun to play. It would be awesome that we have different kind of attack that would need to use depending on the enemy. Good job
@kassanu, just to let you know, I played several of the games with my 5-year-old son. He loved your game and keeps asking me to come back to play the "harry potter game" (it is how he call your game) :)
You forgot to bring a towel!
I loved how it looks! The game feel is also awesome!!
As you pointed out, the game is really difficult at the moment. Another point, is that as it is supposed that the player die a lot, I would give a more quickly restart. Something almost immediatly
Loved the robot name! haha I'm impressed how you were able to put mini games into it in such a limited time. Good job
The game is quite funny. Never imagined myself playing as a horse tail
Played it on PC and as you said, it will probably be a better experience on a mobile. I think this can be solved by a simple left/right key bind for PC version. I liked the game!
Nice game. The deaths with the enemy been cut n half was quite violent but I like it. haha Nice combination of a hack and slash with a weapon building system. I think I would not put that "slippering" on the movement (when you stop moving, the guy walk a little bit more)
Hi man! I'm a civil engeneer and love this kind of game. I'm actually asking myself right now why I didn't came up with something loke this when the theme unstable was announced. hahaha. I went in a completly different direction. Anyway, nice job! The game is really cute and fun
You've submitted a pretty solid game to someone new to gamedev. The mechanics are simple but it works very well. And it had a cool fit with the theme. Good job
Making an online multiplayer game in a jam deserves all my respect. I really liked playing it
Nice work! hahaha That sexy letters running are really funny!
I really like management games. Developing something in such a small time that gives hours of gampley to the player is quite impressive. I ll need to come back after and play a little more. Good job.
This UI is simply incredible guys! It remembered me Paper Please! Awesome game
Such a clever idea! Nice job!
I liked how the game looks. The weasel animations were really nice even with the texture thing that you did (which was really clever btw)
I really liked how the game looks. The grass animation brings a such cool atmosphere that I actually started to want for more of those. Maybe keeping the grass on the foreground and a tree in the background would be awesome!
I admire developers who don't follow the direction of making a funny game in a jam. It seems to me much more difficult to set the mood of a horror game. But I think you hit it pretty well.
I loved the game! As a Civil Engineer, I love this kind of games!
The art and the sound fit really well! I think it would be awesome if you explore a Little Prince story somehow. I don´t exactly know why, but I got Little Prince feelings playing it
The title say it's all. Nice job achieving that. hahaha
I loved how the game looks. The sound fit very well too. Good job
The artstyle is awesome man! Good job! Also the theme was really well used there! I loved it
Nice adaptation of tetris to fit the theme! Good job
The low resolution dark visual, and the audio combined, achieved what you were probably looking for. I liked the game. Good job
Man! I loved the game!! The diologs, the instability of the ship when you miss the right time for repair, the art style... Good job!
Nice title! haha Man, I would never came up with an idea that uses the mic as input! Very creative!
OMG! I love Inside Out and your game reminded me so much of this movie. I see so much potential there if you want to expand this project. Imagine a parallel window showing the real world in real time, so that what's happening there gives you a anticipation of which emotions will come next
The art is awesome! And so the concept! I had a hard time not breaking objects. haha Great job!
Great job man. The level design was incredible for a such a limited time.
I loved how you used a tangram-like mechanic in a complete unimagined way that fit nice on the theme. The art is incredible for a jam game. Good work guys
I liked the pixels art. The controls were a little bit hard at first, but after a while you get used to it. As a feedback, I would suggest that you can just fell when you are on stairs. And use it just to climb. It will make it more dinamiclly. It felt a little bit odd when I jump expecting to just fall to the lower level, and got stuck on a stair. But I really liked the game. Good job
What a unique art style! The game is super cute and fun!!
I found it to be really addictive. Nice art style and music. Good works guys
I love playing jenga. This digital version really got the feeling. Good job
I couldn't pass the 2nd level. hahaha But never saw anything like this before. Nice job
The kraken is damn fast. I couldn`t hit one songle shoot. I also had a hard time to aim. Butnoce game. Good job
"Try not to rage in this puzzle platformer where all you're progress can disappear". This is impossible! haha I thought the game quite punitive. But I liked it! Great job
It is a fun game! As a feedback I want to point up that I was able to rush to the end without fighting. I don't know if it was the idea. Good work!
Hi there, it was also my first LD. Nice feeling for submmiting it, right? haha I liked the aproach to the theme. And the mechanic works really well. Good job
Your pixel art rocks! The red lights below the plataforms cause by lava, show how careful you made the game! Good job!
O whatched Julie streaming it. Really liked it. The atmosphere and story are awesome! Good work guys
I really liked! For the jam I think you would loose precious time puting a tutorial into the game. But I think it is mandatory if you try to keep it's development. But as soon as the player understand how to play, it is a really fun game. Good job
Nice story and art. Really good experience playing it
It is really funny. The audio is the best! haha Good job
Cool aproach to the theme. I got really pissed off when my own tower started to attack another one. haha
I loved this "drawing" art style like. I also liked playing the game. And developing a User Content feature for a jam was tottaly awesome!
I really liked the ambience! I think you just need to try to make things a little bit more intuitive or self explained. But besides that, it was really fun to play
Wonderful artstyle!! I loved the mechanic off moving both legs of the house independently! One feedback is that I find pointless to stable the house with the old lady. I got in a situation that I couldn't go back. But the house didn`t fall, so I didn`t see a point to keep trying it.
I really liked the way you mixed chess mechanic into your game. Good job. It was really fun to play
Thanks @delightfullymad @r3l0ad1 @lex ! Justed rated your games as well!
Yes @lex. I'm BR! Needed Google Translator help at last minute. haha 🇧🇷!
I'm actually considering bringing this game to Steam. If you want to follow along, follow my developer page on steam and get notified when the game is released: https://store.steampowered.com/developer/mandingagamestudio
Hi guys! Awesome feedbacks! Thanks a lot! I will rate all your games in a moment as well.
@slimmerburger , I wrote the begining of the text. When it says "I'm going to start creating some random texts so you can focus on the task", I used text generators like this one: https://shortlyai.com/
It uses something that you wrote and automatically generate more text using AI :D
I hate to do UI. So I really aprecciate who does it so right. Really nice game.
I liked the game feel and the vsf with the particles and everything. I tried to dash sometimes to avoid the attacks. SO I think is something that many players will try as well. Maybe is a good feature to implement.
I like your aproach for the theme. This old book grimore had a perfect fit for the mood also. Good job guys!
Very nice and quite intuitive mechanic. Even though I started to accidentally solving the first ones, they kind of start to clarify to the player what is happening. I don't know if it was my impression, but as the puzzles are automatically generated, sometimes there were 2 edges on top of each other. Maybe you need to adjust the puzzle generator to avoid this.
Nice art style! I thought it was really difficult for me (I'm not good at plataform). One thing that might help is make it possible to jump a little bit after the plataform. I liked the game. Great job
I think a lot of intros on LD take the "funny" direction cause is actually easier to deliver something in a really limited time. With that said, I think you achieved something quite hard to do in this horror game! Great job man!
Danced for 132s!! Really enjoyed it. The music work very good for the game as well
The title of your game rocks! The game has attracted me since the title. The mechanics are simple but effective in making the game fun, while fitting into the theme
I am impressed with what you were able to achieve in such a short time of study. Although I didn't go that route, I think participating in game jams is a great way to improve as a developer. Pretty cool game by the way
I really enjoyed the difficulty progression you introduced. Level 1 with eagles, level 2 adds the sniper, level 3 adds the anvil... Each element was introduced in isolation very smoothly. The art is also pretty cool! And I really liked the theme of the drunk pigeon haha
Nice one using paralax in a top down pixel art game! The dogs adds an extra layer of dificulty besides the timer. The art is awesome!
Hi! Unfortunately I can't download the windows version. And as you said, the webgl version is quite compromised. But I could have a brief test of the experience and I enjoyed it. The setting is very well done, with the sound effects and so on. The quest system was also a huge feat for the short amount of time. Congratulations!
It is a solid entry. The combat fells really nice. I liked that I'm actually against the delivery! haha
From what I understand it's better to always save money and put the cat. As his attack is guided, it ends up being worth putting him alone. The fish almost always seemed useless to me haha It was a pleasant experience to play. The essence of tower defense is there!
Nice submission! I had fun climbing the trees! Sometimes it got hard to pass some parts, but liked the mechanics. Best luck
Nice entry!! I liked a lot the experience. I think it would help to know where the fishs are (all the time). I would prefer to throw the fish instead of push the penguins (but it can be just me). Good job!
I think you built a solid mechanic here! I really liked! A minimap showing the towers would help a lot. An arrow point to the main base would also help. I played only using AWSD and only after I noticed you can use QE. I'm not sure, but I think you should stick with one of both (use QWE and drive it like a car, or use AWSD and drive it as a drone). Having both options may confuse players. But again! I really liked what you came up with!
Yes DaniilLenin. You are right. My main concern is how many players will make it through the first step of understanding the basic mechanics and how to make player decision-making easier.
Hi @3mpty! Thanks for this. Do you think that if the player can place cities as cells that never die, it would increase the strategy factor and solve part of this unpredictable feeling? A city can be placed if a living cell stays live for 500 years, for example. Or maybe let the player place it for lots of prosperity points.
Thanks @nobiy and @elysiagriffin
Hi @nuin and @raffe , I left the tutorial for the last minute and it is terrible. You need to place the humans on the green area on the left bottom side. Try to use the patterns showed on the tutorial. Specifically, try to shoot a spaceship to the right and then shot à spaceship or glider to get into the fauna.
Thanks guys!
@qin-bugong I couldn't finish them on time for submission. I'm working on them right now.
Hi @furtive-pygmy! Thanks a lot for the feedbacks! I’m really glad you liked. The game seems to please only a small niche. It’s seems that it is not for everyone. I’m happy you bring the idea of cities! I was in doubt if it wold be a good way to give more control and strategy factor to the player. I was thinking about it as a B3/S123456789 cell. It can bring others possibilities, like the possibility of placing “guns” that shoots gliders (simpler than those from B3/S23 rules). Do you think cities should be something the player places for a huge amount of prosperity points or a live cell becomes a city if it stays live for 1000 years, for example? I didn’t implemented the elves and orcs level yet 😔. I couldn’t finish them in time for jam. Thanks
@furtive-pygmy @floralvikings @qin-bugong You guys seems to be target audience for this game. I just decided I ll experiment develop this game longer. If it is possible (and if you guys are interested), it would be awesome for me if you guys keep an eye on the next updates on the following weeks on itch io. It would be great to have your feedbacks and suggestions on the forum there. Thanks a lot.
It's so amazing to read feedback like this! Thank you very much @teddyreid!
I am now implementing exactly those shapes that you suggested :) I'll keep developing it until I see if I can come up with a way to greatly improve its accessibility. If I succeed, I may develop a complete comercial game on top of it. If you can, follow the development of the game on itchio. It would be really cool to receive feedback from people who took the project from the beginning and will be able to give their opinion on the evolution of the game :)
Thanks @digital-bacon ! Please, keep an eye on itchio. I ll definitely need lots of feedback to make it work!
Thanks for the feedbacks @potkirland and @massena ! Sorry. I didn’t finish orc and elves yet. But I ll make an update soon with them! @massena thanks for let me knowing about this. I ll study about color blind friendly colors as soon as possible. I ll let you know when I have a version considering this.
I loved the art style!! And the mechanics a pretty solid! Congratulations! I got trouble handling the plane. For some reason my brain always think in inversed controls.
Nice puzzle game! The systems you build together can interact with each other and bring several combinations and possibilities. I can imagine a player finding a solution that was not the one you planned in the game design. And I think this is awesome! Some of the levels seems to "complete" even though I didn't find the solution.
What I mean is that I passed to the next level even when I failured
I found the controls really cool to fly the drone. The mechanics are very solid. I found myself replaying the level several times to try to beat my own record. It seems to me that there is a luck factor as well. As apparently the delivery points can be anywhere on the map, it can be near or far, without giving you any benefit or harm related to distance.
The funniest game I tried!! You got it so right! hahha. I wish I could start with my previous setup. Also, sometimes my setup started with some parts missing. Besides this, it was a really nice experience playing it
I'm impressed this was your first game! The mechanics are really well implemented. I actually don't know how you did the implementation of the fances. Which engine did you use? Really liked your game!
