Haha, these sound effects are top-notch. The weapon crafting mechanic is cool, but I feel like certain mechanics need more player feedback.

Fantastic game, audio design is hilarious. Weapon combo is great addition. Had fun :)
Create a blaster, this very cool idea)
Fun game. I like everything.
I was confused about what to do first, but once I figured out the weapon crafting system it was smooth sailing... It was fun to play and I love the sound effects you made! Good job!
@cornflowerblue Glad you enjoyed the sound effects. What mechanics would you say we could improve on the most?
It took me a while to figure out how to build a weapon but once I got the hang of it, I had a great time. A nice little Binding-of-Isaac-esque dungeon crawler with a good sense of humour. Very impressive that you wrote this in Vanilla JS in just a couple of days! Well done!
Nice game. The deaths with the enemy been cut n half was quite violent but I like it. haha Nice combination of a hack and slash with a weapon building system. I think I would not put that "slippering" on the movement (when you stop moving, the guy walk a little bit more)
An entertaining take on the visuals and sounds! Experimenting with the weapon crafting was fun, too! The controls could maybe handle a bit tighter or more precisely, but overall a fun little game!
Cool game concept, I liked the art style a lot and the voice clips were funny! I liked that there was even some extra lines if you lingered in the boss room. I think my only suggestion would be maybe to put weapon crafting on the same screen as the gameplay, or like a quick craft option since that would help to maintain the flow if your weapon breaks during combat.
Liked the graphs,gj!
It was very moist in there  The setup is great.
I really liked the voice-over and sfx. "Pew, pew" sound is just perfect. The gameplay itself is fun, and it feels rewarding to build end discover different kinds of guns. A minimap was also welcome and really helped in getting everything explored.
What I didn't like was the backgrounds. They are too busy in places and too dull in others ;). The only bug I noticed is that sometimes the game gets stuck on loading and stays forever in 62/71 or 55/71 loaded.
Anyway, it's a very nice jam job. Made me laugh and I enjoyed playing it.
Cool game, and very funny SFX.
nice
I gave you my feedback during my stream earlier, but I just wanted to tell you this is the only game I've given a 5 for audio.
Watched it played on stream - very innovative and interesting! The art was stylistic (if not a little rough on the eyes haha!) so it had a bunch of charm. The fact that it's in javascript is next level! Your SFX are phenomenal.
Really cool game, SFX are hilarious and it feels like a lot of work has gone in to the whole thing. The weapon creation and different enemy types worked well and then even a cool boss room!! Nice job peeps.
i loved all the sounds. it was amazing fun. only thing was some of the jokes were getting missed under the music. i wanted to hear them all.. i like you work i wanna see more ! good job
I love sound effects, the artstyle is superb, all fits into the game with the weapon crafting. My personal favourite was the minigun because you just shoot so much pellets that the enemy just dies the moment you aim at it. Nothing much of improvement from me other than just keep going, maybe more variation of gun patterns, just generally, more of everything! Great job for the game jam!
You had me sold from the start with that description haha Gameplay is great, I love the variety of weapons and the fact that you show the recipe combinations you have already used so its easy to try out different combinations/weapons
the sounds are really silly, but it fits the aesthetic and overall wackiness of your game. Well done!
haha its quite charming, creating weapons took a bit of getting used to but the audio and art are very endearing
