it is very fun, but sometimes my character gets jammed into moving in a particular direction and I lose control over it.

The Tilemap is nice. Thing is, in the import settings from your unity on your tiles, if you select point (no filter) instead of bilinear for the Filter Mode the sprites will look a lot more sharp.
Link does not work
Loved the accidental physics, loved the extra soundtrack, loved the models, loved the idea, I loved the implementation of unstableness into the game, I just loved everything, good job you 3!
The difficulty ramps up really quickly around Cycle 10, and for me I kinda struggled around that, maybe give the player some boost in movement speed because I find catching up to the lines relatively difficult once you reach around that cycle. But yea, otherwise it's a very chill, fun game and the art style with the audio are clean and calming together. Good job!
It's an absolute banger of a game, really fun and enjoyable, I think I've played it for a good amount of time, it's just that immersive. You guys really need to give it a go. I'm a sucker for this genre and I'm glad I've played this among many other tycoon? games.
Really enjoyable game, the physics are interesting enough for the immersion of it, like getting enough velocity to flip around a normally undoable obstacle. The Artstyle compliments it further with the theme of the hamster going into a "volcanic" laboratory filled with "lava" that acts as part of the obstacle. A very well polished game, good job!
Really interesting game made in C for the NES console, really happy this exists because making this is a technical challenge that I doubt I would even dare to step into. Huge kudos for making game like that bug free, and on time! Good job!
I struggled a lot on the corners because I was driving too fast, but otherwise, a very solid game about some angry fedex driver throwing packages around because they had bad day with their truck rolling over all the time and dropping packages by accident. Good job on using UE5 for this!
I love sound effects, the artstyle is superb, all fits into the game with the weapon crafting. My personal favourite was the minigun because you just shoot so much pellets that the enemy just dies the moment you aim at it. Nothing much of improvement from me other than just keep going, maybe more variation of gun patterns, just generally, more of everything! Great job for the game jam!
Really well polished, very fun, very addicting rhythm games, everything fits well together, the animated 2d platform was absolutely wonderful to see, for I haven't seen much of that before, maybe I would've if I played more indie games but alas, kinda my bad on that. But yea, wonderful sound track, amazing beat designs, beautiful beat editor, and honestly, if there's a community on it, I feel like this would be an industry standard game! Well done, great job!
It's an amazing puzzle game that I'm glad I managed to solve in the end, it was absolutely mind-boggling and I had an enjoyable time playing it with the Twitch Chat! Thank you so much for bringing the game to the world. The only thing is that I had a bug that stopped me from interacting with the UIs near chapter 13. I don't know what I did but I think I was constantly readjusting the the path because it didn't work well, I believe it was when I was pressed play without a complete path, stopped it, redid it, stopped it and so on and somehow nothing works again. But yea, excellent game, great job!
Enjoyed the Hand-drawn look, audio was great, the art and the plot that explain why we're playing the game is great. I did have a rage inducing moment at the end because I was stupid but otherwise yea, a very interesting game.
Bugs free! Balanced! Enjoyable, I loved it. It was really immersive, getting to the final purchase was really satisfying. Just that it could use a message, like a basic Text or UI to tell the player they've pretty much won the game when they bought that final thing.
Simple shooter game that also involves you pushing cubes around. I enjoyed the sound effects, the graphics are fine. I really like how you can use some of the cubes to stop the enemies from reaching you, and the fact that the follow enemy design kinda latches onto the one with the gun so it doesn't actually kill you too quickly.
Everything feels polished, the 3 states of charging felt really smooth, the spell system was well designed and fits the theme, with me being able to tell which spell I'm casting just by looking at the colour, which brings in to the graphic, it is well contrasted and I can tell who is enemy and what are bullets, and who is me. Over all a very well done compo that is comparable to many other great games I've seen, well done!
I enjoy the music change whenever an event happens like you shooting your guns, and the music itself really adds t o the tension of the heist itself. Unfortunately the unstable aspect didn't quite work its magic due to it only being just wayy to much enemies and helicopters. I went into the helicopter on the gun blazing mode because I was on a silver of health when I reached the building where the helicopter is and I don't really feel like dying after getting 400k worth of money. So yea! Just a bit more polishing on the unstable side of events and it should be great! Oh and I hope there's wall jump up the vents when you're in helicopter mode because you technically can fly in from the top, go down the vent but have no way getting back up the vent to get back to the helicopter. Otherwise, great game! good job!
Lacking some 8 bit music, but a very fun tower defense game. I enjoyed the random events that somehow takes away my resource and that I have to balance it. Unfortunately the first time I played it I couldn't get the doom tower? But yea, awesome game, good job!
It's a wonderful game putting the typing which usually isn't all that fun, and gamified it. It's also includes a special text to speech library that added to the humour of this game. It's a really fun experience, lots of replayability to see how fast you can get, see if you can get the A-Rank like I did!
It's a wonderful kinetic novel, however I feel like the music at the end is a bit loud. I had to turn my volume down to 3% just so I could listen to the good music. Other than that, excellent voice acting, enjoyed most moments within the game.
This is an absolute joy to play, every moment kept my attention and I really enjoyed how the theme is incorporated into the polished game as a drunk person. Good job on the jam!
A well polished 3-D Voxel game with part of the core mechanic having unstable incorporated into it. The only suggestion I have is to make the barrels and chest interactable, the hammer didn't work in the Jam version but I assume you fixed it in the full release. The audio was great, enjoyed the bomb sound effect although it doesn't actually kill the enemy so I was bit disappointed in that. But yea, good job on finishing the jam, hope you come back for ludum 50!
This is a fun game but I'm struggling to fix anything beyond what's offered in the DOC, and in the Setup Error thing for the Anti virus. So yeaaaa. The art is nice, shame there isn't any audio but it is a fun experience. Maybe those with more braincells than me can enjoy this haha.
An addicting enjoyable game where explosion goes Michael Bay and all of a sudden your tower of furniture is ruined. How dare that 1 canister ruin my day. 10/10 would play again. I find it relatively difficult to go higher by just using 1 single pillar of furnitures. Maybe some others with more patience might be able to do it, I certainly can't - still a very fun game though, so yea, great Jam game, well done!
It was a skycatching experience of a bullet hell. It was thoroughly enjoyable, the sound were not too loud, the theme was amazing and it fits, the gameplay fabulous because of how the lightsaber interacts with the bullets themselves. Good job on all of you!
Relatively bug free game that can be resolved just by resetting the level. The theme of this jam is well incorporated into the game. But yea, just more levels, and maybe some way of killing the player. It is an overall a pretty immersive game so good job! Well done on the submission.
It was fascinating to find out a way to get out of a spot where you can get stuck, good job on polishing that to the point where you can actually escape out of most spot that will get you appeared to be stuck. The BGM taunts me every time I go into a spot that was troubling to get out of, so that was an absolute wonder listening while being frustrated. I did manage to finish the game despite I'm kinda bad at it, took me almost 20m so that was a really long playtime as well!
The main issue I have with the game is how it's really difficult to pinpoint which leg you're spinning with which control. I think you've already mentioned updating leg visuals so kudos on that.
p.s. Why is the table already assembled when you escape the box
According to someone in my twitch chat Steve told me I spent 45m on this game somehow. So yea, wonderful job on making this immersive and deceptively fun. The physics are so janky that idk, I just want to keep going back to make more vehicles! good job!
It was scary, the atmosphere was there, it's just a shame sometimes I can't run and most of the time I can't outrun the moving stone. Still a good game though with some improvements.
Just a tiny bug at the end that you can't win the third stage, but overall a very polished, and refined game. Good job!
p.s. honk
Overall a very well rounded game inspired by Cupheads, really enjoyable graphics, the game incorporated the theme of unstable as a core mechanic so kudos to that, really love how if you stack too much pizza, the mass will actually make the pile fall down so you really have to find the balance between stacking them and knowing when to throw it. The win and death scene was a nice addition to finish off, so yea! Well done and good job on the game!
One very glaring bug with the white noise within the Jam version - however, there was a fix for it afterwards. The graphics weren't too much to look at - however, it feels Russian in its own way because of that so that simplicity managed to convey the state of the country. On top of that, the theme was implemented as a flavour story added to the censoring game which was really smart actually. The whole game was so immersive I almost forgot to look at the chat! Good job!
The story is the big pillar of this game, thoroughly enjoyed every part of it, I did require a bit of a hint to start with but in the end I made it. Everything blends in together well, really immersive, nothing was overpowering each other. The only thing it could be better is maybe a menu so you can go back and maybe redo the game (which you can kinda do on the browser by refreshing). But yea, overall a wonderful, slightly interactive walking simulator with a great backstory. Great job!
Very well polished game, I don't think I saw any bugs at all that's amazing for a jam game. The audio was perfect as it has a sound effect for every single action or reaction on an object or event. The theme was well incorporated into the game as kind of a background story and worked as a stage change so well done on that. I did have slight troubles controlling the character but it's a minor issue because all it did was made me die more. My personal feeling about this is this feels a bit close to a Mario Clone I saw the implementation of the bullet bill mechanic, where it travels in a straight line and destroy blocks, I saw the movement of goomba but a lot faster, I do have to say the underwater enemy felt pretty nice. But yea, congratulation on finishing the Jam!
Interesting Game, however there isn't really much of a goal I believe other than just going as high as you can before you screw up. Shame that it is relatively easy to not do so by balancing the ingredients.
The recipe book is a nice touch, but I wish I could bring the book back up because whenever I finished wit hthe first row, the second and the third row never shows up to help me brew my potion, so that's kinda unfortunate.
I enjoyed piling up and then have my dream crushed by an explosion and a you died screen afterwards. 10/10
The platformer aspect was pretty stable, however there were some bugs with where you can die, sometimes you enter a death loop - but otherwise, all the other aspect is good! Art was excellent, really enjoyed it, sound accompanying the game was amazing, I really felt like I was in space. So good job! just gotta nail down the bugs.
The water physics are a great entry to the unstable theme of this jam. Overall I had a very smooth experience playing it, really liked the trap placement in that it is actually challenging to use the water physic so I can guide the boat away from the traps! Good job.
An amazing compo that incorporates the element of sound effects into the music itself making the entire experience very enjoyable. There are a bug, but it can be overlooked because you can actually reselect the stage. You can also cancel midway through your launch by shooting in the opposite direction and if you shoot fast enough, you can kinda generate a beat that's almost unique to your own playstyle.
I can see how the concept works, however, the player troop's spawn rate was kinda too high to the point where the beginning stage it's almost a guarentee to win. But yea! A decent submission with an aspect of the theme incorporated into the game! well done!
An amazing snake replica with the twist of it being ran with different windows, and the fact that it's played on the screen as opposed to being in the window. For compo, it's a really polished game! Good job!
The voicelines were excellent even if it was a bit weird for the grandma, really enjoyed the physics behind the platforms, which actually also fills out the theme of unstable! I just wish for more levels so I could play more because yeeting the grammar propelling her like a catapult was really enjoyable and I want to do that more often! The final level design took me some thinking but it has just the right amount of difficulty for me to solve and progress. But yea, overall a very well rounded game, good job on making it through this jam!
https://ctrlv.link/IhDt Good job on making to the end of the jam! There are simple building mechanics with the theme incorporated nicely into it, which makes this a proper jam submission because many others simply placed the theme as the background theme as opposed to being a game mechanic which means that while they do end up doing the theme, the mechanic is all vanilla. So good job on making that happen.
Improvements could be something like making your own sound effect with bfxr, maybe look for some royalty free background music to improve the mood even further, and if you had the time, maybe draw your own art as well!
Very nice tale of a future of the world being told in a western point of view. It is quite funny to see how you burn everything and then somehow everything blew up in a short time. I really also like how the world order UI break.
A pretty buggy game but I do see where the concept is. Really cool explosions and ragdoll physics, but other than that, I think I struggled to get into the end of the game. I'm not even sure where the end is. I also have log spams of Hellos near the end. But yea, could definitely use some polishing.
The RNG could use some work but since it's your first game, it is a relatively polished game despite it's flaws. It didn't crash, the platform works, and if the double jump feature was not supposed to happen when you touch the rock, well you've certainly found a way to make that part fun, very innovative. Good job on your first entry!
Gratz on your first entry! I'm not quite sure how the theme of Unstable fits into the game, but it was an enjoyable experience, relatively bug free. The audio added to the immersion so the platformer doesn't really feel boring because of that. But yea, good job!
Is it normal for my Anti Virus to catch the game as a Ransomware? I tried to play the game but then it froze and when I tried to reopen it my anti virus quarantined it.
Very solid, relatively polished game. The music really immersed me into game, the sound effect gave me the feeling of impact in the stage, it makes every bullet and tank destruction felt across the screen. The voiceover is literally a cherry on the top of the game and the fact that it clearly conveys what the game wants you to do makes it probably one of my favourites of this jam. The 2D pixel graphic only adds onto it, the upgrades are balanced enough that even if you're stocked, you can still die by accident, so really good job on the balancing part.
There's only maybe 2 things I could say about this. More variety of tanks like a light tank for example that moves faster than the regular ones, or a slow one with more hitpoints, when the announcer said "I have a bad feeling about this", the platform disappeared which shocked me the first time, but what you can do is make that a random event happening as opposed to just the platform disappearing such as increased health points or speed on the tanks, or you suddenly losing all your upgrades for the duration of the round. Those are just among some of the randomness that could add to the "unstable" theme of this game. But yea, other than that, very good job on the jam!
The game itself has an interesting concept, although it could use some power ups for the player so for example, like featherfeet that wouldn't trigger the blocks for a certain amount of time, or maybe you become invulnerable for a hit, or repair all the platform once. It's just there's a lot of potential in that game, but good job on making it bug free! Kudos to that, well done!
Good job finishing it on time as a 1 person job. The Timer doesn't show up in the end, maybe because it was a layering issue with your Canvas. The audio is nice, maybe a boulder hitting the building sound effect would've made the audio even better. I would try and add some randomness to how the building tilts to start with to improve the replayability of the game.
It's a fun little game with the player rolling around, feels really fragile for a "little moon" that breaks when you hit the floor too hard. Really love to boing sound effect, I originally thought the lack of BGM in the sky made the stage felt a bit empty, but soon as I descended to the later levels I started hearing more Ambient sound so that's pretty cool. Overall a very solid game for your first time, good job!
implementation of Unstable as a core mechanic is really cool, good job on that, as well as all the assets created within the 48 hour time frame. Really good job on the first jam entry.
Could use a bit of sound effects to make the game even further more immersive - the balance could use a bit more polishing because you die wayyyy too quickly the moment just 1 of your mushroom gets harvested around the edge in the shadow, or one of them grew too big compared to the others and tipped the platform way too quickly.
It's a relaxing game about as the description says, clicking random button, doing meaningless tasks, and well, maybe if you go broke something will happen. What is it? Well it's up to you guys to find out. Other than that, maybe add some random events based on your success in the forecast, and maybe add a skip day button so instead of you sleeping through it, which takes a lot of time, you could just simply skip the daywhile you're sleeping. On top of that, the cursor's really difficult to see at night, I had to fiddle around to find where my cursor.
A wonderful immersive game, just that maybe implement a chance for a protester dying inside a big building like the actual dome for example because that's where the cops are reinforced. But yea, wonderful AI, one thing you could do is making a "deserter" AI for the protesters where if they are soloed out from the group, and they see a blue cop, they could desert the group instead and join them. Or vice versa where the police joins the protesters while being singled out. Overall, a very good job, well done on making it for this jam!
I really enjoyed the game, reminds me a bit of happy wheels, the pixel art and all the sound blends in together into this wonderful work. I genuinely can't think of any improvements other than just making more levels, maybe think about an endless mode! But yea, good job on the jam, well done!
It's a polished game but it feels a bit short, there is 3 modes but it would be nice to have some kind of goal to work towards, each difficulty having longer goals? Like maybe try lasting 20s, 50s, 100s etc. The other thing is, the blast radius from the player should be decreased the lower your difficulty because I find that I can't really jump far enough even after using the first enemy to make some distance. btw my record is about 30s on the random structure.
A really enjoyable experience epic twists that actually managed to spook me. The music distortion was really well fitting in making the game immersive. It was one hell of an experience, you should keep developing the door idea into a proper game because maybe it'll blow up, I genuinely think it's viable game to keep developing to keep screwing with someone's mind. Amazing job!
Loving the theme, the lack of UI sound and transition didn't affect any of the gameplay and I had lots of fun playing it - One thing you could definitely do is to add a UI or some kind of text to showcase how you can control the time because I didn't use that time option on the top left until like second or third stage. But other than that, great game!
Just need more variance in level design, more enemies, and this is a perfect game. I had fun playing it and discovering that there are more levels after the goal and the goal seemed awfully short for something you can absolutely jump over. Great game, had lots of fun, good job!
Could use some QoL improvements like skipping directly to wave, also more ways to spend cash, as well as more zombie variants (ranged for example). More ways to spend cash during the zombie hoard would be nice. But great game for a compo!
simple yet intriguing game that took me half an entire play time to get used the actual mechanic - placing sand in the pot so things don't sink under. I actually don't have much suggestion other than more levels and more floor pattern designs, so good job!
also I got 29650 score
sadge.png
0.06%, actually sad it refuses to die. I thought I had it, except it's always I thought I had it until I died. 10/10 game, would be great to have some BGM inside the game, a time stamp would be great as well for death time (how long you survived). Oh and a Master Sound Effect slider!
I have 54 in Score and I think I did pretty well, really good game, the fact that you were able to ru nthis on a gameboy is really impressive. While the theme definitely felt simpler just like the general entries of this ludum dare, the rest of the game definitely made that not as noticeable - especially not when the game can also be educational in its own right.
Interesting Idea, unfortunately slightly repetitive - also the SFX is too loud that I have to my browser audio to a very low just make it playable. But other than that, nice RTS game in 72 hours. I do find the game very easy once you have some troop stationed because the zombies doesn't enter the buildings at all. Maybe add a new zombie variant that can break down door and can occupy a house. This probably would only spawn when half the civilians are evacuated, and this should give you more priority on stationing troops on the exterior to protect the inner civilians that are stil safe while you're ferrying the troops across.
Beautiful graphic, wonderful ambient, funny memes. 10/10 would submit deez nut jokes over again. Jokes aside, it's a really relaxing, chill game where you submit a message throw out, then read others messages. You might find a sob story, you might find gold, you might find memes (as if memes aren't gold). But it's an incredible experience to play a bunch of ludum games, get your thoughts out by playing this, and then go back to rating others!
Thank you for the early comment! Really appreciate it!
@boxedmeatrevolution The game is scaled by how high the score is, it's just that it's very miniscule and I wasn't able to balance the formula enough in 72 hours - I was expecting people to reach around 200-300 score by then you would've noticed the effect but it is indeed a fair bit of time. I specifically balanced it so it's still playable by 500 score if someone did get that far but the early game is relatively tame.
@wendel-scardua This is what I get for scaling the entire Canvas into the Main Camera and the child that have scales to fit into the canva of which, THEIR childs multiply and end up distorted af. It's incredibly painful to have them scale properly in multiple resolutions :/ Never doing it again
5/10 would fail my daily quota again, fun game, very fast and hectic but gets more and more difficult as time goes on, until you wake up one day and you're actually working for a certain company that everyone relies on.
I have about 10000 score but one thing I have issue which might be a me problem - it's the fact that I have a bad sense of direction and I kept forgetting where everything is every now and then, plus I spent a lot of energy for barely any increase in altitude (which might just be me spamming Q and E way too fast) But other than that, it's a decent game.
Using score as an ammunition would be a greater idea to emphasize on the theme of delay the inevitable, could use a simple math formula to change the movement of enemies up a bit, more variation of gun types would be cool. Also a simple background sound would definitely improve the mood a lot more for a simple 2d shooter game with arrow controls. But other than that, good job on making it bug free!
I don't have enough braincell to solve one level but the rest is fire, I enjoyed playing through all the stage because it genuinely stimulated my non-existent braincell. It's a great game based on the theme of death being inevitable presented in a physical form with a story told through filling the board with chess.
No matter what I do I still couldn't find the right combination of building to start with that lets me survive long enough before zombies reaching into my sphere to destroy it. Definitely need some rebalancing because the end of the game while can be long, it isn't all that much fun. I definitely sunk a lot of time into it, but I don't see a clear strategy to overcome the horde without running out of food or having enough material to build enough barracks, because some maps are actually impossible to play with even with a barrack protecting them, mainly because the Barrack troops just don't react strong enough against the zombies which led to zombies running over a building (killing it in the process) despite the guard barrack being literally 10-20 tiles away, and therefore less resource, eventually lead to death.
It simply needs to improve on Early game, and you pretty much got a solid foundation for a great survival genre game!
Great game! 10/10 would go madge for the last level again. Just need a death counter, a timer, and a BGM and you probably would have a polished steam greenlight game! The physics are perfectly balanced, the inputs are clear and defined, the collectibles/power ups/obstacles are also well defined that no matter how bad your eye sight is you can still make it out.
Great music, great gameplay, great madge on stream 10/10 when can I go on the leaderboard y dis game hard. Jokes aside, make the moon chase you faster because it's not very apparent that it chasing you ending the game is delaying the inevitable. Although technically the level theme and design reflects that of the next day is always inevitable going from the morning to dusk and to daybreak (hint, new stage name instead of sunrise that sounded boring lmao).
A simple gameplay loop with a cute parallax background to distract you from you being bad at the game because you can't seems to get good at jumping on those bubbles - Still a good game, would recommend trying it - my highest score is 43 but some people said they went as high as 200 and even over 1000s so I'm curious to see how people did it.
Cool idea, nice title insertion as you blow up. What's really great about this game is the arcade style that it derives from. The font, the art style, the playstyle, it all fits in as if it's a game made in the 80s. Just need more bomb variations, maybe big bomb destroys more tile, small bomb destroys less, all dependent on timer. And that's it! Good jam entry, hope to see you in the next one.
Tells a very deep story about someone's personality at the end of the life. Many different meaning can be extracted from this game depending on your POV. One thing that stood out is the slight depressing tone throughout as you walk past the cabins. It's a great experience for sure.
It's an immersive game with the right diffculty balanced for all types of players. The resource you get definitely feel right for the duration you play on the game. However, Hard mode could definitely be harder - by increasing the amount of Uranium you need for warp drive. It has simple approach - gather uranium in preparation for the mothership, gather resource to upgrade and repair, and if the mothership comes, you just have warp away. So fairly indepth game loop, I enjoyed it, good job!
Spedrun the game in like idk 13-15minutes! Great level design, absolutely nailed the music and soundtrack because I don't think any object or enemy in the game is missing any sound except the timer (caught you). I haven't ran into any bugs whatsoever so that's polished game in a ludum 72 hour jam, kudos! Lots of great humour thrown around in the dialogues, especially to do with modern zoomer cultures. The best thing about this game is that bugs can be a "feature" to help you speed run a game! But great work for a 72 hour jam, looking forward to the next one.
I thought I was ready for the boss - I wasn't. The boss had a fair bit of stat that I didn't expect, which is often a good thing, really surprised me that I do not have enough defense to even tank it. That said, unfortunately I wasn't able to fight the boss because you can spam enter which is what I like to do with my rpg in general and behold, bug. It basically softlocked me from being able to play the game because the dialogue just doesn't progress anymore. Still very good game for a jrpg fan like me who enjoys grinding the life away, good job on making the compo despite the bugs!
