This is my favourite game I've played so far this Ludum Dare. Felt like playing a classic run and gun and was loads of fun. Its late but I've saved this to my desktop. This will be getting played again in the morning when im... supposed to be working... Don't tell them anything :D
2021-10-04 22:16
Game silently crashes and procmon gives a lot of physX dll errors.
like S:\games-itch.io\HONK-III\Engine\Binaries\ThirdParty\PhysX3\Win64\VS2015\APEX_Clothing_x64.dll not found
cool game, wasn't really sure about what made it fit the theme, though.

Keep traditions)
This was really fun. I knew I was going to like it based on the logo alone. Nice work!
The game itself is a doom remake but works pretty well and is fun to play. Can't see the theme
*HONK*
Fun run and gun. Well with my potato of a laptop it turned out to be more bullet time than fast paced. Going to keep a copy of this for when I finally build my PC.
It did give me a nostalgic feeling of the original Doom and Quake... but with an option to honk while jumping over an exploding barrel.
@adamjn thank you for playing!
@findoff I'm sorry for that, unfortunetly I can't help you with that. Frankly, I can't test the build myself, because of my videocard.
@dominic-graziano thank you for playing!
@e-m this is the honk!
@chainsawmcd thank you.
@julien-darras much appreciate.
@uboretsky HONK
@jammygunns than you for kind words and determination.

@tricky-fat-cat as i can see, you re-upload build with engine folder and now it's work great...
@findoff yeah, I accidentally uploaded the wrong archive.

Very dynamic shooter, cool soundtrack, reminiscent of Doom, Quake in collaboration with Serious Sam
Kept saying out loud "how did they do this?" while I was playing. A whole damn FPS with multiple enemy types, multiple large levels, a bunch of weapons, and a dedicated honk button over a weekend? As others have mentioned, I don't really see the theme, and obviously the gameplay relies on tried-and-true old school FPS design tropes, but I still had a lot of fun and I'm still incredibly impressed. Honk.
Very niceee love the chunky pixels. Satisfying shooting too!!
Great game, Feels very complete, great fun. As others have said not 100% on the theme but hey the theme is optional right? HONK

Q Q Q Q Q Q MOTHERf# Nice game!
@zvyaga thank you for playing.
@polymathld much appreciate. The secret is that I have a small prototyping plugin with the most basic stuff like menus, hud, and some basic classes to implement the most basic stuff. However, the most important ingridient is the team.
@peterfiftyfour thank you for playing.
@fear-games the theme is HONK
@senso thank you.
I. LOVE. IT.
Really great entry. Very well composed! I really like the explosion effect :smile: Best game so far, despite the fact that i don't know why it fits the theme :wink: Sometimes enemies were moving a little awkward or they can't open doors (which is sometimes a good thing). I experienced some trouble shooting through doors, but despite that i couldn't see any issues. Very very great! I think i am gonna finish the game later :cool:

Performance was quite horrible for me.
Game was really slow (framerate dependent... everything?) making it very painful to play.
So i couldnt really play more than the first room without getting nauseous.
A shame, the concept is just honking great
Amazing game!
YES!!! HONK 3!!!! played on stream and i was so immersed that i barely said something, amazing game with great Quake vibes, as i said if i have to really nitpick the only thing lacking is a damage animation on the monsters, this is really a masterpiece and makes the whole honk series a classic for ludum dare, congratulations!

Hey guys, thanks for submitting the game to the stream, it was a good time! Here's the vod if you'd like to rewatch; https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1167974254
Sheeesh, honk III is very intense, congratulations on this one. First of the honk series i've played. Sound is incredible, level design is very good too, just two major things i notice is a glitch when im shooting but its probably my mouse, and the other is in phase 3 where is a room a bit too dark. Very good game friend!
HONK HONK! Good Game Thanks! Doom feeling
Looks cool. Will there be a day when we non-windows peeps can play it?

@tomorrowtoday if you're talking about Linux, we've just uploaded a Linux build on Itich.io page.

@kubulambula thank you!
@marin0104 Thank you for your kind words and playing.
@mrchip I'm sorry for that, I wish to found out how to optimize games for LD in UE4.
@falawiska thank you.
@andreadbx thank you for your stream, it was great.
@justcamh much appreciate your feedback during the stream.
@lucas-viana you always can play previous installments on my itch. By the way, the second game was made with Godot.
@erikengineengineer thank you for playing and sharing your experience on stream!
@merri thanks, we tried our best.
@kyrylo-kalienich indeed
I've been waiting a whole year for this.
This was incredible, it feels so good, looks amazing and yeah... I really don't know what else to say... Is there more than 3 levels? I could not press the switch in the 3rd level, so that's how far I got! unknown.png Seriously so good, I don't think I have ever seen a more complete and more ambitious game in all of the LDs I have participated...
@federico-giorgi thank you for such a dedication;
@andidebob unfortunately, there is a bug. Funnily, we had a similar bug with HONK II, you couldn't finish the last level. Thank you for playing.
10/10 would honk three times again. A few times when playing this I thought, "I need to learn how to do that in a game."

So cool!!
whaaaaat that's so cool! Can't believe it was done in 3 days! Thank you for linux version! Speaking of some actual feedback, second level is running way more smoothly on my low end pc, not sure why, probably because of light sources amount. Also. a blaster that fires blue pellets stops working after the first two shots
It doesn't really matter, I'm amazed

Amazing! There is a lot going on on so much little time! Love the doom-like game, that you can acctually honk, graphics and everything! you even have different levels to play! Great job!

2021-10-06 10:11
Wow, guys, this is masterpiece, I love that. It remind me old school quake games, more precicsly Quake II, which is awesome because you in three days manage it so much. Sounds is also brutal, and that soundtrack. Yep this probably winner in some category :)
But there is some cons - No settings, so sensitivy was to high for me, and FOV can be bigger because it is too much zoomed in - Melee weapon, because I was out of ammo and cannot find any, and there was still a lot of enemies, so I just panicly running around and died. - I can not find what is unstable, or how it fits into theme
Once agane, a greate game!
Although enemy ai is a bit janky, which makes closing doors the strongest weapon against demons. And I don't really think pixelating shader works that great, because it's really hard to tell enemies apart when they are too far.

The game is great! It obviously feels very oldschool, with the pixelated 3D graphics it brings back memories of a previous era. I love the stylized graphics, doom-like icons and models of enemies/weapons. Gameplay is kinda straightforward, but very, very fun :smile: Especially the parts with shooting while flying across the map on jumping pads, it was really enjoyable! Music is obviously honking great.
The only few things that weren't perfect for me was the lack of any indicator of getting hit by something - maybe some hit sound or a red screen flash? The other one was the dark level - lack of light made it really hard to navigate and I think that's a kind of obstacle that I wouldn't expect from an arcade shooter like this. Also, I'm not sure if the game has any connection to the jam's theme :sweat_smile:
Overall, it's a really well made game, I can tell how much work has been put into creating this honking masterpiece :smile:
I love the doom-like game. This is a very fun game where you are very fast and can jump quite high, feeling like a speedrunner. Good job.
Great game ! I love it !
Great game, really well polished in all regards.

This game is generally very good. The graphics, sounds, general consistency - all are very good. However! I have no idea how this game is related to the theme. I wonder if you really started making this game after the jam theme was announced. That said, another unrelated question - is it HONK like in Untitled Goose Game or like in Space Station 13?
@steve7411 thank you for playing!
@adrian-guevara There is no theme, only HONK!
@feyola Thank you for playing, but we decided that we don't want to follow the theme to finish this exclusive LDjam series. Talking of HONK, it's like Untitled Goose Game.
Very cool dynamic game! The graphics make you feel nostalgic for the old shooters! Not sure how the instability theme is revealed, but thank you very much for this gaming experience!
As an old Doomslayer, I'm so excited to play this game!! Very neat level design and gameplay, and such a great completion of the game! GJ

yeeah boiii ducking finally! B)
Having played and loved HONK II before, seeing the natural progression to the source material finally come to its climax was a blast :D Except maybe differentiating between pickups, everything felt better than HONK II, yet very familiar!
What a time to be alive! Fantastic job!
How many Honk games are you going to make? :-) Sadly, the game ran at very low tps for me, so the entire game was in slow-mo and I didn't get to enjoy it as much (I gave up after level 1). I can see the effort you put into the visuals, feedback, and of course the bhopping, it's just Unreal games destroy my lame laptop.
HONK!
I'll fork your project, thank you)
Holy hell what a game, It legitimately reminded me of Doom Eternal at some points. I really liked the large combat sections and the labrynth-like keycard based levels.

2021-10-08 02:18
Ah, the good ol' Quake nostalgia... I only wish there were a shotgun. Combat felt very fluid. I wish there were more feedback when you hit enemies / picked up things, but I suppose that made it feel even more like Quake. Not sure how the theme fits in here but I enjoyed this none the less.

The game looks very unusual! I liked playing, but I could not pass level 3 because the lever is simply not active
@artemy-zen thank you for stream!
@dgspitzer thank you for playing the game.
@trexxak much appreciate your kind words.
@robonaut121 Only III, maybe HONK Eternal in the far future. I'm sorry that the game doesn't run smoothly on your laptop. By the way, we released a post-jam version, you should try it, as we tried to optimize the game.
@nikiprotiv HONK
@alex-chertilin thank you for playing. But be aware, the game were made using C++.
@real-flamingicecubegames thank you for such a kind words.
@mharring much appreciate your kind words. There is no theme, only HONK.
@xpoho главный герой и есть гусь!
@ninjacatz thank you for playing. Actually, you beat the game, in the third level the lever is broken. We fixed it in the post-jam version.
Titled Goose Team had a top-down HONK, a 3d HONK, so the only thing left to do now is a VR HONK!
Very fun game! The gameplay is fast and fun, enemies look interesting and diverse, all of the rooms are distinct enough, so you don't get lost easily, and the soundtrack sets the mood for some honking action. The only gripe I have is the last level - some of the rooms are too dark and my eyes got very tired quite fast. Everything else looked cool. Great job!
Really fun, loved the graphics and the fast pace but I don't see how it fits the theme. Great job!!
Don't see the theme implemented, but the gameplay is solid and fun. Had some issues with door hitboxes, but everything seemed pretty good

Nice funny joke with cool music. The graphics are very cool too. I don't know if it's a shader or pixel textures, but it looks cool, bright and juicy. Pleased with the variety of enemies and surroundings. This is clearly a lot of work.

Looks and plays good, buy... was it necessary to lower the resolution?
Great classic shooter game feel. Probably the best first-person honker I've played.
It's kinda funny to play without shooting the mobs.

you straight up saw the theme and thought "duck it im making doom"
Fun doomlike! Would have liked the enemies to have chased you a bit more aggressively, or be wandering around a bit. I actually really like the speed they come at you.

Alright, honkduckers
Pros:
- Honk goes 3D - And it's hongry - Has a honk of guns - And honk of enemies - Honk 64 graphics - With honk-on music
Cons:
- 6/9 not enough honk / RGB
Honestly though. An old-school visuals and good music. A bit too much in what's going on, but hey. It's a doom-like, right? It is supposed to take your attention!
A very good entry for the series finale. We can now honk peacefully. Great job guys!

Absolutely amazing game, I love this. The traversal and weapons felt spot on and the level design was solid. I honestly thought the game was over after the first level because it clearly had so much time put into the design but the game just kept going! I've paid money for much worse doom-likes. Great work. Incredible achievement for a 72 hours. HONK.
I give this 3 honks.
Did y'all have one person solely working on the explosion effect all day or what?? (It was way more elaborate and resource-intensive than anything else)
Unfortunately motion-sickness kicked in midway through level 2 and I had to stop playing, but this was a good trip down memory lane in the meantime.
Impressive amount of work for a jam, especially the level design ! too bad that I lost myself in the second level though... But overall graphics are really neat (what an explosion !) and musics too (although the music stops playing in the middle of the 2nd level) ! I think what could have improved navigation in the map is objectives indicator even if it's straightforward objectives (pushing buttons) but I reached a point where I just got stuck in a dead end beacause of closed door, and I just wouldn't tell where the buttons where to open it. It would also have been nice to add a special shader when you point your cursor towards interactive objects. Another little cons I found when playing : - No indicator when you're losing health - Not a lot of features that are motion sickness-friendly like a little bobbing effects on camera, or a swinging on your weapon - This last one is really rambling, but I found the "grip effect" of your character when you're starting moving (what makes it have an little acceleration) is kind of awkward, I would've make it run at constant speed from the start for a fast-paced game like this. - And yeah, as a lot said there's no clear link to the theme but I know game jams can just be an excuse to make a game.
Anyway, all of these comments are not very important because I know it's a jam, you really did a good job on this one !

Super polished and developed game (almost questionable considering the amount of time that was available 🤔😆) Honestly it is a great doomlike and it feels like it has a great potential. Though, not to be direspectful, it feels like this game was made during LD49 as a pretext more than it was made FOR LD49. (I wasn't there for Honk I and Honk II, so I'll give them a try ;) ) That being said, great game ! Honk !
@annie-owl thank you for playing. We tried to fix lightning in a post-jam version.
@blurdeblah thank you. There is no theme, only HONK!
@xeke-death thanks. We fixed doors in the post-jam vernion.
@forik thank you!
@muros thank you for your kind words.
@bak thank you!
@baturinsky thank you for playing. It's not a lower resolution, it's a postprocess shader. And it helps to conceal some visual problems with our assets.
@subcreation thank you.
@yaroslav-kravtsov thanks for playing. It's an important part of classic Doom games, that you can beat the game almost without killing enemies.
@rextgun thank you. However, we take a decision to make a third game year ago, right after HONK II was released.
@salohcin894 thank you. Indeed, the enemies are not that aggressive how I expected.
@mikoziq much appreciate!
@aevek thank you for your kind words.
@ddrkirbyisq thank you for playing. I'm sorry for a motion sickness. Talking of explosion. This effect we took from a free asset pack.
@pierre-morreel much appreciate such a detailed feedback. We tried to improve our UX in a post-jam version. But not that much, unfortunately, I faced the UE4 bug which prevented me to implement damage indication quickly.
@enad96 thank you for playing. I created a special plugin for rapid prototyping. This plugin contains some basic staff like menus, barebones interactive actors and pickups. Basic health system. It's really helpful as I shouldn't write again a lot of basic things and focus on gameplay mechanics. Also, our team is big.
@sherwood actually, you are right to some degree. It was made during LD49 for LD49. Thank you for playing.^_^

I can't say no to a boomer shooter. Tha game is good, I got a little sick of the pixelization (like literally it messed with my head although I love old and retro games), and I felt the sound for taking damage got mixed with the background, so sometimes I didn't realize how much damage I was taking. Maybe it needed a good quack. And the last thing is I don't see this as unstable? Maybe there is some meaning I'm loosing. It was good though, the levels were good and the weapons somewhat satisfying.
oillen
2021-10-09 23:21
(-) this game realy needs blood & gore or at least an option to it
(+) retro grafics, I almost think I am playing prodeus
(+) fitting and awesome soundtrack
(+) there are different tracks when you restart
(+) multiple levels
(-) weapons collected in a level, aren't brought to the next
(-) it can happen, that the soundtrack does not go on or get to the next track
(o) the lag during explosions gives them some additional gravitas
(+) there is quite a variety of foes
(+) enemies look menacing
(o) hostiles are sometimes a bit bulletspongy
(-) enemies are sometimes unresponsive and/or behave unintelligent
(-) collision boxes of doors, have partly "ghost walls" when opened, absorbing projectiles or blocking the player character
(+) deep level-design from the begining, with many secret passages
(+) weaponry: machinegun, assaultrifle, shotgun, plasmagun, missilelauncher ... woah great!
(o) weapon selection also by number keys would be neat
(+) shotgun has a good bargain of damage, projectile spread & range, so it is also effective on "midlle" distances, doom3 did you listen? ... did love their shotgun anyways
(-) shotgun's look and sound is a bit weak
Simply incredible. Everything that could be said has already been said, but as a fellow composer I want to send my admiration to Sava and Syntheslav for the OST. Amazing work!
OST, Sound Effects and Graphics are TOP Notch!
But may I ask, what was your idea in how it fits with the theme? Or in this case do the team just takes the opportunity of Ludum Dare to make games together - in spite of the theme (no problem with that, the work is very nice)?
Just WOW. For a 3-day jam this game is beatiful, very polished, big levels and with a good pacing. I only found assets too blurry at a certain distance, and they make me sick, but explosions are the best part of this game. Perfect audio and visual feedback, it's a joy killing those spider-like enemies!

Great core game but I fail to see how the theme fits in. Could have used some mouse sensitivity adjustment on my end but otherwise it works. Menus worked but bugged visually for me. Graphics are really good but I personally don't like the "fake" pixelated look, makes some enemy hard to see in the distance etc.
Great entry.
Fun little bang bang shooty shooty game! While I ultimately enjoyed myself, there were several small issues that added together to make this game hard to play:
- Mouse sensitivity was too low and could not be changed. I tried to change my DPI but it didn't feel right while I was playing. This made it hard to aim at enemies at times but I managed to cope with it.
- It's hard to know where you need to go at times, but this might be a limitation of the way the levels were made.
- A lack of feedback when you get hit, or when you hit others. I think a sound effect plays when you get hit, but that can be drowned out by other sounds easily. A bit of red flash and a camera shake/tilt would really help.
- I got lost on the third level. After I cleared the multi-floor room I just couldn't figure out where I had to go. This was probably my fault cause I was already a bit mentally burned out before playing, but I decided to stop there. Sorry ;-;
- The plasma gun stops working if I use it once or twice. It isn't until I go to a new level that it becomes functional again. Really strange, might be a platform issue?
Otherwise you guys did a fantastic job! Music was good and it was fun to just romp around and blow stuff up for a while. Good luck with the rest of the compo!

A wholesome murdering shoot-em-up. It make me happy to kill bad guy. Oo oo ah ah. I fuckin love shoot em ups. Great entry, absolutely impressive.
Excellent entry! Congrats I loved it. It's a game I would come back to play. Kudos!
download.jpg I like imagining a goose running around with a shogun, murdering demons
Not much to add to the dozens of comments. Very good game feel, graphics and audio, like in the good old days. I got the fact that you didn't relate the game to the theme, which is totally fine for me. But I just have a question regarding what you made during this ludum: considering this is the third opus, what did you reuse and what actually comes from these 3 days of development? I mean, it seems so rich and polished...it feels almost unfair for the other groups that started from nothing (but I also notice that you are a pretty big team :) ) Anyway, congrats for this great entry!
Very nice one ! it gave me a lot of 'Dusk' vibes, which i like a lot ! I think however the controller could be a little bit improve, as you get faster while going in diagonal and there is not enough inertia to my taste ! Overall i really liked it, it felt really polished and dense ! Congrats :)

Very fun!! Super impressive for such a short jam and obviously quite a bit more polished than expected. Agree with other comments it doesn't seem related to the theme.

Honk 3 huh? I liked it! Not very innovative or theme consistent but neither is my entry :) Insane levels of polish, execution, content, game feel, and graphical fidelity for a jam! You had me trying over and over and over to speedrun level 1 (I got 33 seconds after ~15 minutes, but I suck at FPS games, what did other people get?) Either way it was addicting enough to get me to speedrun.
@fedegelo Thank you for playing. Talking of the theme, we honked at it.
@oillen much appreciate such a detailed feedback, thank you.
@dingledorf thank you.
@splitpainter thank you for playing. We just decided in advance, that we wanted to make a classic shooter during the LD49 about our beloved Gooseguy. Because, LD is a good opportunity to make a game you really want to develop.
@michelangelo thank you for kind words.
@emkani thank you for playing.
@phobos001 much appreciate your playthrough. We fixed the majority of bugs and problems in our post-jam version. It would be great, if you check it!
@piper-thompson with a tremendous effort.
@alexej thank you for playing. And there is no theme, only HONK.
@jpgfg thank you for playing.
@brandondev thanks.
@shea-kelly and it's for the third time!
@gaming-night thank you. Talking of some preperation. I have a plugin for rapid prototyping, it contains some basic things, which I can find in majority of games. For instance, interaction logic, basic gameloop, main menu, hud, pause menu, game over screen, interactive actors (e.g. doors, buttons), basic pickup logic. This plugin doesn't provide our team with a game, but it provides us with some stuff which isn't funny to recreate every game jam or prototype. However, I change some parts of it during the jam for HONK.
@llaumegui thank you for playing.
@mhm32167 thank you.
@elysiagriffin much appreciate your streams!
@wakka2 thank you.

@tricky-fat-cat If there was a shortcut I wasn't aware of it! Although I think I'd have an idea where it might be hidden, that time is just me honing in a dash to the finish line essentially.
@sharks there are four hidden doors in the first level concealed as a wall. To open them, you should press E near them. Like in good old doom. :)

Hi guys. Very nice to see another Honk. Honk III is awesome. Plays well. I love everything about it... HONK's theme is HONK. HONK, HONK, MOTHERDUCKER! We get it. The Ludum Dare theme is UNSTABLE. Hooooonk!
I totally respect that you found the time to gather and make "a" game during Ludum Dare. I wish my crew(s) were more disciplined :P
HONK!

It is a cool shooter, although I don't really see how it is connected to the theme (yes, I know theme is optional), but it is a shame that there isn't any in-game mechanic to make the connection. Beside that awesome job with the game.

As a DOOM lover I can just say that is is amazing. Just one detail: let v-sync enabled by default (maybe with an option to disable, tho I don't think that's necessary), sometimes it's a little bit akward to see such a masterpiece being teared like that haha.

I couldn't get to the second level because the sound was too loud. What about visual style? It’s great, really. But not nearly as good as in Ghost of Tsushima.
Fantastic representation of the theme! I've never before considered taking momentum out of doom movement - it made everything crushingly unstable for sure! 5 stars!!!

Overall I'm just going to echo the other positive comments. So I'll offer 1 suggestion in addition. Especially if you're going to continue this series in more first person shooters, you may want to add a mouse sensitivity slider.

It's a fun game, but I don't know how it fits the theme so far. Kudos for you for making FPS game from scratch in 3 days! Need to say this is pretty impressive. Especially you created 3 huge levels!
I like graphics style! Although I found it hard to recognize enemies, it seems like it's little too dark.
Also mouse sensivity is by default very low and definitely setting for this would be handful.
Music and audio is just flawless.

I love this game and I love duke nukem 3d, it really makes the feel of a 90's game. Awesome.
I'm gonna start with the negatives because I feel obliged to be as critical as possible with a game shooting this high in every regard.
I had a lot of bugs going through this one that dragged the experience down a bit-- guns would stop firing after a few bursts of fire, then the gun would be useless for the remainder of the level. I had this happen on the Plasma Rifle three times and the default gun once. This was the Linux Postjam version.
I also think the first level has some severe design issues-- the early enemies weren't particularly fun because they were usually placed next to doors that would shut the moment you walked away, and I would recommend holding the door open for five seconds before allowing it to close as it would allow you to actually fight enemies from room to room as intended instead of needing to step away and hide behind the door just to get a good shot. As I'll get into, it's mostly contained to this first level.
Now that I'm done bashing it, I get to talk about the game. For a moment here and there, I forgot I was playing an LD game. The 3D models look perfect, the environments are the right blend of retro, and the weapons are fun. It's described as a Doom-like, but it felt closer to me like a faster, tighter Serious Sam-- I would like to see more air control and maybe some Ultrakill-esque mobility options, but otherwise I was absolutely floored with what you accomplished.
I think most of my issues really do stem from E1M1 as beyond that the level design increases in quality dramatically, with way more verticality and more interesting enemy placement. I also love the little Quake 3 jumppads you snuck in there... I'd recognize that sound anywhere. Ignoring the qualms I had, it's amazing what a game you turned out, and with a sizeable amount of content as well. Multiple enemy types, multiple levels, extreme visual polish, multiple weapons with entirely different functions... it's just exceptional.
All this without mentioning the audio. Incredible OST, and generally solid SFX all around. I'd like louder and more distinct enemy sounds, and maybe some slightly punchier rifles, but that's about it.
I'm begging you... PLEASE take this game postjam. I would happily put down some cash for Episode 1: Knee Deep in the Bread. I want to see exactly what you have in mind for Gooseguy's upper-tier arsenal and a full campaign.
Hats off to your team for an incredible entry. HONK.

As a side note, thank you for porting your UE4 game to Linux. It's a first for me on LD to see this and made running the game a whole lot easier.
EDIT:
I put together a list of my favorite projects this jam, and I feel fairly confident putting yours in the runner-up/honorable mention for Best Overall. I was blown away by what you accomplished and, again, desperately hope that I can play an expanded version in the future. HONK!

Hey there! This game was really amazing to play! Thanks for joining us live!
I finally had the time to come back and rate everything I played so far!
Here is a link to the vod of the review if you wish to see it again: https://www.youtube.be/watch?v=h15d_WbzH64&t=13281s
@pcmaster thank you for playing.
@zimny11 thank you for kind words.
@rodel77 thank you for playing. It seems, that we forgot to enable v-sync.
@lucas-cancio thank you for playing, next time we will make Honk of Tsushima.
@jerem-watts thank you for playing.
@mhorth thanks, I have plans to add to my plugin a simple options menu.
@ryjcio thank you for playing.
@xiyou thanks.
@anchorlight thank you for such a detailed feedback. Talking of shooting problems on Linux. I don't know why is this, as it's absolutely strange. However, the build were made in Windows using Epic's toolchain, I deem that this bug may connects with this. Unfortunately, our team don't have a Linux PC to test and build the game, however, we use toolchain to create builds on Windows.
@togis Thank you for your stream.
Very good game, really enjoyed it. Solid FPS, impressive that it was put together in a jam timeframe. Good set of weapons, nice variety in levels, cool chunky low res art style, overall really great work!
Dandy game! It reminds me Quake and Doom. I love it! I don't know where is Unstable theme, but dynamics of the game was good. Interesting fact: After I played your game, I accidentally go to the stream Alex who start playing your game too! (and mine after that LOL)
This is an amazing game. Movement feels awesome and the level design is on point. There are some clipping models in some places but overall a very good entry
That was awesome! Makes you forget you are playing a jam game, it feels great. The music was a bit low volume on my end, and i didn't find out how to switch weapons, but this gameplay never gets old :) Great job!
Very technically impressive homage to Doom, but serious performance problems for me on Windows. The first level was about 1 fps, and improved to 2-5 after that. I got the blue key, but after looking around for a few minutes still couldn't see what the red button had changed
Was incredibly impressed by the amount of content in this game. From the powerups to the armour to the weapons. I was even more surprised to find out there's multiple levels! The levels are really good too - I liked that the second one wasn't totally linear. Your gamefeel was on-point and it felt so satisfying to blow up those little crawler drones. Nice work!
@landosystems thank you for such kind words.
@coolestdoggie thank you for playing.
@dock-frankenstein thanks.
@rongo-matane thank you for playing, you can switch weapons using the mouse wheel.
@cody-miner thank you for your attempt, I'm sorry for the poor performance, we tried to optimise the game, but there are some problems with systems without a dedicated videocard.
@sleepystudios much appreciate!

OI! Audio is fucken TOPS. Slapping.
I found picking up ammo and keys a bit hard, maybe could use a bigger range of collectables.
Amazing levels, cool design for the artowrk.
IDk how it fits the theme of unstable tho.
Still enjoyed my half an hour playing it!

I'm very surprised by the ranking of this one, you guys deserved better, I can't believe you managed all of this in jam time. Congrats team!
@justcamh much appreciate your kind words. Frankly, I'm also disappointed a little bit, however, I'm happy with the feedback I got during the jam. It's the most valuable thing!
