This was very fun
I had fun, and the art is lovely
Fun game with cute graphics
Fun game with nice art
I really like the idea! It's a fun little puzzle game
This is a fun shmup. I'd like to see where this could go with more development time.
I love the art! A fun take on a deck-builder
This is a really fun reverse tower defense game. I would love to play more!
Fun concept! But I was completely unable to change direction in the web version on OSX, because the Option key wasn't accepted in place of Alt.
Really nice concept. It would be nice to see this concept expanded on.
The OSX build appears to be corrupt, but I was able to manually go into the package and run the executable.
Fun puzzle mechanic and good intro levels
Interesting idea and really challenging
I really liked the concept. As others have said, the level labeled as the tutorial seemed to assume that the players are already familiar with the game mechanics, but it's fun once you figure it out on your own.
Great music and a really enjoyable experience
This was really cute and fun
This was really enjoyable!
This was fun!
This was fun. The path finding seemed to leave the ants stuck in situations that you probably wouldn't expect it, but it was nice to eventually save some friends!
Fun game with nice art! I really enjoyed the upgrade mechanic. The highest powered light washed out most of the screen for me.
This was a fun experience, and the graphics are pretty!
I like this idea a lot, and the flat coloring works well for the items
Good sense of humor in the narration. I like the way the difficulty was scaled.
I like the stylized, low poly look. Fun driving mechanics!
Nice jump sound effects. I like the storm/wind ambiance. Overall, a really fun game to play.
This is a really nice take on some Guantlet-like spell and loot mechanics. Really fun to play, and I like the spell instability/damage mechanic.
Really beautiful graphics
Fun game loop. Trying to think about what shapes of cargo to stack to keep things stable is a nice mechanic!
Fun game with nice pixel art
This was really ambitious for a 3 day jam! The game play was fun once you figure out the mechanics. Overall, a rather satisfying experience
Really nice looking levels and character. The platforming nice. I think that being able to jump a short while after walking off a ledge would be a nice addition.
The graphics and animations are super cute!
I love it. Great choice for the panic song
I like this idea. It's a good, fun, simple puzzle.
This is a really nice take on the theme, and the brewing/time management mechanic is quite fun
I like this take on the unstable theme
This game is really fun. I like the pixel graphics
The friction issue with the character sticking to walls is a bit unfortunate, and I feel like the controls could benefit from a little bit of coyote time. Other than that, it's a fun I-wanna-be-the platformer.
Great music and simple but fun mechanic
Super fun building mechanic! It's fun to be able to try to trick the physics system. It reminds be a lot of Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts
Great level design and visuals. Nice weapon variety. Overall a very fun experience
When you try to open the macOS build, it just says '“LD49.app” is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Trash.' My best guess is it's related to app signing. In any case, if you manually run the executable inside the app package from the terminal, it works fine.
Super cute idea and a lot of fun to play
I get some really nice Myst vibes from this one. Really nice story and ambient music. I also like the low poly look. Overall great experience
Good variation on the jam theme, and a fun game loop
What a fun twist on a building mechanic! Really fun to play
I like the character animations and behavior. This was quite fun
I really like the game play, it's super fun and challenging.
Really unique and interesting take on the theme. I enjoyed the writing
I like this concept. The difficulty really snuck up on me after about 10 calls. I would have liked some coloration for patch cables that have active calls running through them. All in all, an impressive compo entry.
Nice, challenging mechanic. Good adaptation of the theme
What a fun platformer! The controls feel great. Loved the graphics. The only issue I had was that the camera didn't seem to follow fast enough when falling down to lower ground in a couple spots. Super nice little game!
Not what I was expecting. Lovely mood and art
What a really clever and fun idea. Really enjoyed playing this
I like this idea. It has a lot of potential
Really amazing art style. Interesting premise and nice take on the theme.
A good prototype. A few more sound effects would have been nice, but it was fun to play through
I like that you made a fun layout using only cubes; it was fun to play through
This game was really fun to play, and a good implementation of the theme. That ending :(
I really liked this. It's a fun experience. I also enjoyed the music quite a bit
I really like the idea and the core game loop. The story and the starting inventory system are nice touches. I could never manage to get through the game, because every time except once hunting and foraging got me nothing but wasted time, which I guess creates the brutal inevitability.
This is a great take on the theme, and a fun to play... endless puzzler. The visuals are simple but lovely, and the core mechanic is enjoyable. Some feedback about what the path finding will do when you're hovering a piece would probably be a nice addition in the future.
The graphics are so great! And the overall game mechanic is simple but fun
The core rhythm mechanic is well done. This is a really fun idea, and a unique take on the theme.
I like this take on the theme. The inevitable win condition is a more positive take than most
The camera didn't quite show enough of the level in front of the helicopter, but nice old school vibe overall
I like how you implemented the elliptical orbiting mechanic, especially with how the repulsors add energy. Our submission was extremely similar, so I obviously highly approve of this adaptation of the jam theme :) This is a solid experience
This is a fun game with great presentation. Lots of artwork and polish for a jam game
This was a bit challenging to figure out since you can't aim and jumping throws the gun, but once you get going it's a fun core mechanic. I really like the visual style
This is a really great experience, especially considering it's a compo entry! I really like the main rewind/replay mechanic, and completing tasks with past selves and then unlocking new tasks is a great way to progress the game.
What a great idea for a game. I love that one of the players is first person while the explorer gets a nice 2D view of the ship.
I love the flat shading and environment design. This is a great introduction to a potentially larger game
Turrets are always fun mechanics, and this is no exception. The mouse sensitivity was a bit extreme for me, so aiming was a challenge.
This feels like a nice start to a game. The artwork is disturbing, which works well with the theme of the game. I couldn't figure out a goal other than walking around and shopping. It wasn't clear if I was supposed to look for uninfected places and only buy from them? Or if I was spreading the disease to them when I arrived? And I couldn't figure out any way to gain money. Still, it seems like time in the jam probably ran out, and this is a good start to a fun, yet disturbing experience.
I love how the buildings avoid the camera. The 3D models look great, and the cars' unpredictable behavior is cute and keeps things interesting.
I couldn't really figure out how to get started. I could settle Ross and even get it somewhat stable by mixing flora, but that was about it. Launching seeds from Earth to some CO2 heavy, relatively low toxicity planet never seemed to do much of anything, and by the time Earth had two completed launches, everyone there was dead. I do really enjoy the idea, and I think this has the bones of a really great strategy game. Also, maybe consider renaming EventLog.js to something else, as that name is blocked in some privacy filter lists that a lot of browser extensions use.
What a great take on the theme. I really like the artwork
I absolutely love how the ship and items you picked up dance! The song is such a bop! I got to 400 days before everything got sad.
This has a solid game loop and implementation, especially for a compo entry. I also like the character and slime artwork. Having the powerups that exist on the map is also a nice touch to encourage exploration.
So close to the high score: reaper.png
I love the artwork and music. I really like the story telling between rounds, although I wish it were skippable for the many, many retries it would take to get through successfully.
Your Let's Encrypt certificate seems to be expired at the time I played.
This is a surprisingly fun experience. The core mechanics or paying attention to a few things at once is really rewarding. I made it far enough that it seems like I ran out of road, and then it spawned me back at the beginning without generating any new items to pickup, so I eventually ran out of gas. Also, when I tried playing it in Firefox, only the background was visible, so it wasn't playable.
I like the mini games. The inevitability theme is definitely there, and it's extremely disheartening to realize the bar's never going up.
The art and animations were top notch, and the simple clicking mechanics are easy to understand and pick up. This is a short, fun experience overall.
This is a fun game, and losing to someone repeatedly in multiplayer is an unexpected feature for a jam game
This feels very polished for a jam game! I like the UI artwork
Nice take on the theme. I like the follow-the-magic mechanic
I really like the puzzle mechanic. Pretty challenging at first, and you learn as you go, which makes for a nice progression when you replay.
This is a fun game, especially once you get the assault rifle!
I liked the writing, and the story is relatable for many.
What lovely graphics. I also really like the take on the theme.
The graphics and aesthetic are so nice. I like the game play loop; it's simple and fun
This is a really simple but fun loop.
There's a really good feel to this game. The music, sound effects, and animations all come together to create such a polished experience
It seems like this game might require a screen larger than the one I have in order to be able to see everything. I get to what I think might be a cat with an anvil (I can't completely tell because it's cut off from the top of the screen) and avoid it as far as I can, but it completely removes my ability to move when I align with it, and I just have to watch while I die. It seems like it would be a good experience if I could figure out how to make it through, but I couldn't figure out what was trapping me in place.
I really like the artwork and the world design. The music choice was a good one, too. Exploring the level was a nice experience, and it's a very thought provoking take on the theme.
In the end, who am I to judge?: immortality.png
This is an interesting idea. I think maybe an arrow to show the direction to a drop off point might be nice, but the level was small enough that it wasn't a big problem to find them, except for all the crowds!
This is a really solid, fun game loop. I like the simple visuals, and the UI and transitions are great
Really fun experience. Nice art, music, platforming, and a rhythm game thrown in for good measure!
I enjoyed the boss battle and platforming mechanics. The hit box on the player did seem a bit wide, but double jump helped deal with that.
I like the level design. The controls made it a bit hard for me to stop exactly where I wanted to for smaller platforms. Overall, a really fun experience.
This is a really good compo entry. The primary mechanic is simple and immediately obvious to the player. The charge mechanic did require reading the instructions to understand. I really like the sound and color palette.
This was fun! I wish they weren't so good at dying all the time
Oh no, this take on the theme crushed my soul. I do love the art and the voice acting.
This was a short, enjoyable experience. I do wish that the enemies couldn't spawn inside you or directly in front of you as to be unavoidable, but still fun overall.
It took me a few tries to figure out what to do, but after that it was surprisingly engaging. This is a deceptively addictive experience
There's no way I'm getting a high score in this. I like the graphics and the little monster!
I love the music and sound. The mood is also great in the dark world. Really impressive compo entry!
I had fun with this game! Some indication of where the flag is would be a nice touch, as I often ended up in dead ends. I also found that you couldn't see most of the holes in the terrain in time to avoid them when you're in such a hurry
This was really fun. I like the simple button press mechanics to make the different recipes and serve different drinks from your platter. What a nice, relaxing experience
This is a really lovely game. Great idea, good level designs, fun mechanics, great overall experience!
This was so lovely. What unexpected neighbors
I love this one! Super fun to make it through. The controls sometimes felt a bit unwieldy, but I could see that as adding to the challenge.
I accidentally fired a shot at nothing with a score of 15, and it cost me my life. It was the most upsetting moment of my entire life. Also, I like the music.
Great platformer with plenty of content for a 72 hour game! I really loved the experience. Is there a secret when you make it to the wizard, or is there a single ending?
I don't think I completely understand the objective. Is it to sacrifice the sheep as fast as possible? Does "Evil Escapes" mean I lost? How does one win?
I really love this experience, and the artwork is lovely. I thought the fire extinguisher didn't work at first, because it doesn't actually aim at where you're trying to put out flames, but once I figured that out, I was able to make it for quite a while. I only finally lost on my final attempt because the game froze on me :(
This game has a nice game play loop. I feel like this could be turned into a very entertaining, much longer game.
Well it was an upsetting task, but it was all worth it for that morale booster!
This is a good start. I really love the art. With a little enemy pathfinding, what I suspect is a missing negative sign for the archer aim code, and the ability to collect the gold, this would be a really nice game
I really like the idea and the visuals. It was a good level of challenge starting out to figure out where to go and when. There does seem to be a bug where you can stand next to the robot, hold space, and mash w to win, and you can get multiple hits per beat.
The site just times out when I try to connect :(
I didn't think this was too hard at all, especially for a compo entry where there's no time for balancing. I really like this game. I had a lot of fun solving all the puzzles!
I love the style of this game. What a really fun experience.
This is a really interesting entry. It feels a bit like a factory building game, but for bullets.
I'm only able to get as far as an empty loading progress bar for the web build:
UnityLoading.png
@paul-giovannini I've tried Firefox and Chrome. I had a friend test it as well, and they got the same results.
This game is fun. The difficulty when you first start seems a little high, but if you can make it to a point where you gain more mana and better units, you can crush the oncoming hoards.
@chillertyp We had a bad setting on Itch yesterday. It should be fixed now!
@fribolin Yeah, that's the amount you're allowed to lose before you get fired :) We did that so the vampires wouldn't have to figure out something else to do when there were more vampires than children you could lose.
I really like the animations and the sound design. This was fun, and planning for where you'd want to end up when you get access to the weapon is a good mechanic.
Really fun game. Nice artwork, good animation, great overall feel. This could definitely be polished into a full game
The controls took some getting used to, and the sneezes seemed happened at times that prevented me from making platform cycles more often than not, but it's a fun platformer in the end. I also like the character design
I like the variety of levels and things you can use to solve puzzles. The suuuuuuuuper slidey controls made the platforming elements extremely hard to do.
I really like how the gun is very powerful and lets you get some destruction done! A lot of the takes on the fire-every-10-seconds idea only give you a single, difficult to aim and weak shot, which is much less rewarding. I also really like the music from the first level. It reminds me of old school Sierra games.
This is a great idea. I really like the art and animations. And the effect at the end of overlaying all the thorns is quite nice - it looks very complex. Unfortunately, despite my best efforts, it looks like winning on insane isn't something I'll be able to do :)
The art is great, and the basic mechanics of the cameras and turrets could eventually lead to a really great game. I would've liked to see some kickback when firing the gun in 0 gravity. As far as I can tell, I made it through all the explorable areas, but I'm guessing that you ran out of time to add in an ending; it happens. I would love to see this developed further
Really fun mechanics that could be made even better in a post jam version!
I really appreciate the countdown audio and the outline to show when it's not safe. The game-within-the-game was compelling enough to get me to beat all my coworkers' scores!
This is a nice exploration game. I like that there's plenty of environment to explore, but your time is also very limited, so your exploration is a pretty strongly guided journey.
I really like the sound design and music in this game; it really sets a mood and syncs well with the light advancing. Overall I enjoyed playing through it. There were a couple places where you had to guess which direction to go, and if you guessed the direction without the collectible, you just died. I would've preferred to have some indication of the correct direction to go in in those cases. The controls were also a little bit too instantaneous for some of the closer platforms; if you just tap the arrow key, you're instantly going full speed, and you miss the platform by a mile. In the end, this is a fun game, and it kept me playing through to the credits.
This is a simple and fun experience! What a great use of the theme. I think getting some feedback about which tiles you got wrong after a round would be nice.
The classic boxing mechanic is well executed. Overall I enjoyed the experience, but not being able to skip the glacial pace text between rounds really hurts my desire to try again after I fail a couple times.
This is a really interesting game. I like the whole metaphor. Nice animations, too.
I don't know what they are or where they came from, but I'm 100% ready to revolt! I need to know more of this story
I found myself wishing that the blackout transitions were a little shorter, but I enjoyed the maze exploration and combat!
I really love the artwork! Unfortunately, I got stuck in a bug that warped me back to a barn where I'd been previously attacked every time I pressed 'e'. I also found myself wishing that the periods of wait were further apart and shorter. Overall, I really like the concept!
The little buns kept bashing through my solid stone walls. I'm scared
I really like the combat system in this. And the event system added some good fun
I don't think I understand the game mechanics, and I've "solved" the puzzle 3 times. Sometimes the hands point to the same positions when I zoom in to the clock face vs the unzoomed version, sometimes they don't. Sometimes the second hand stops when I zoom, sometimes it doesn't. I was only able to find two number clues in the environment, but they didn't seem to correspond to the solution. What am I missing?
I think this is the start of a really interesting full game
The pressure mechanic is really interesting! I think the art style is nice, too. Overall a fun little experience
I really enjoyed the sound effects :) This looks like the start of a neat puzzle game
I really love the kitty ghosts!
This seems like an interesting idea that could be turned into a larger puzzle game. I really like the art! It took me a little while running around the farm before I realized you had to do your farming inside, since the door is mostly not visible to the camera. All-in-all, I enjoyed it and playing until I couldn't level anymore
Wow, what a great idea and nice execution! This was really fun, and I love the art style.
I really like the environment and character art. This seems like a really promising idea, and with a little additional work could be a great multiplayer experience. Good job on getting the multiplayer code working during the jam!
I really liked the idea and execution. I really love the overall UX and sound effects
I might be upset if I got one giant bean instead of a lot of tiny beans. I understand it's the same thing, but it's just not what I want to cook with. I think I might need to speak to the manager.
I really like this take on slider puzzles. Permanent tiles combined with not being allowed to move the tile with the carrot really made things more interesting.
I really like the artwork, and I enjoyed playing through twice to see both endings!
The web build seems to crash when trying to talk to the server. Seems to be something to do with SignalR?
@devedse I just tried it in a different browser, and it worked for me
@devedse Both Firefox, but one was the developer build. I suspect it was a browser extension interfering
I really like the idea. It was pretty difficult to figure out how to play. I gather that you can combine things in your inventory, but I never quite got the luck to assembly anything. Many of the drops didn't look like much of anything to me, so I assume they're not useful and should be left behind. Overall, a great little game.
I really like the art!
I really like the art and music! And the menu and credits felt really polished!
This was a really enjoyable experience. I made a series of saves and played through what I think was at least 5 or 6 different endings. This is a really nice entry
This is a really fun climber! Good implementation of the theme, and really nice pixel art
