good job! The last stage is a bit hard but I got through, really fun game.

Fun game, nice use of the theme. Good job!

Nice game, I liked the concept and had fun playing. Just a note though, maybe don't use ALT on the browser version, my browser kept showing/hiding the "File" bar on top every time I pressed it.

Pretty fun game! The mechanics are very cool; the game was simple yet interesting considering the different enemies and maps that it had in each round. I only didn't get if there was another purpose of increasing the loops you did, e.g., did it give you extra damage? Either way, nice work!

Hey, thats a fun little Gem! (no pun intended hehe) solid mechanics and nice gameplay. Really well done!

Nice game!

The concept was pretty simple but very fun and engaging. I liked the simple controls and the graphics and audio fit very well. Also you nailed the theme. Overall pretty nice game! :)

Fun concept! But I was completely unable to change direction in the web version on OSX, because the Option key wasn't accepted in place of Alt.

nikolai-shkurkin 2020-10-10 19:27

Nice I love the concept! I wasn't always sure what the lose condition was... (did it matter that little bugs where on the track?) (did it matter how many loops I completed?) Sometimes it seems like enemies pooled around destroyed crystals (which I guess helped me a bit on the last level). I think additional little variations like power-ups, being able to switch up the track, placing slow-downs for enemies, etc. would be things to help expand this concept to the next level. For some reason you didn't put "audio" as a category I could rate but I thought your sound selections were great for this game. Cheers!

@steve7411 oh we didn't test on MacOS. Sorry about that :D

kisamegr 2020-10-10 19:30

@nikolai-shkurkin You basically lose when all your crystals die, the worms are just there to slow you down and make you lose the loop combo. We didn't put audio cause we didn't make the audio ourselves, just found it online (as the guidelines suggest)

I really liked the graphics, remembers me of GBA games

aduro 2020-10-11 12:23

Interesting game, controls are a bit weird but okay. I like the concept.

captain-nakou 2020-10-11 13:51

Oh, tower defense but with a twist, that's cool. I liked it :D.

oshawatt123 2020-10-11 15:07

Cool game!! Pretty fun, wish there were more levels :D only thing I'll say is I couldn't change direction as alt would take focus away from the game and it would stop :^ that and I wouldn't have used it anyway since there is no reason to. Maybe some solid objects which would make turning around quicker than zipping along the loop? Some food for thought for the future maybe :3 really nice game gratz!

flying-dog-fish 2020-10-11 17:32

Nice game. It's funny how you interpreted the theme as something moving on a fixed game like I did, but ended up with a very different game with more content and a bit less polish.

Only the constant sound the tanks makes while moving is a bit annoying and makes it hard to hear the music.

figueroass27 2020-10-12 02:04

Fun idea for a tower defense game, last level was definitely the best, the more hectic the better i suppose

joedev 2020-10-12 17:44

This was a very fun take on the theme, and tower defence games in general. It got very tough with the 'big' enemies that started spawning and the relatively low health of the crystals I had to protect, but challenging is usually good :D Good times, cheers

Interesting game and fun implementation. Got very hard after a few levels.

Cool concept and pretty fun too. I didn't quite understand why loops were counted, did that add to score or something like that? Ultimately it didn't really seem to matter whether I slowed down or which direction I was going since it was fairly easy to hit enemies regardless of where I was. Some minor nitpicks - alt is a weird key to use for a browser game since it makes the top browser toolbar appear & disappear (at least in Firefox), the driving sound was pretty loud and overpowered the music, also there's a bug where each gun resets the other's cooldown so you can just mash left & right click and it becomes super easy. Still a fun experience though. Nice work!
