I really like the idea :)

I really like the idea :)
Cool idea for a game and I liked the art style and the player animation :) However the controls doesn't seem to work really well. The character gets stuck with his hands up after throwing the rock and cannot do anything for a while. Also the screen shaking becomes annoying really fast. Maybe a bit less would do? The only crow I saw was at the very beginning and it killed me instantly without time to react. After some more polishing it would be a nice little game.
Nice job! I enjoyed that potentially more than I should have - I think the music and narration/text really made it feel complete. I liked the twist ending too :D The controls were a little clunky and janky at times, but I thought the general idea and struggle of getting the boulder uphill was well done. The crows didn't do a lot but did add to the suspense a little bit. The player animation when walking and throwing the boulder was nice too.
The idea is fun, and I liked the story. The controls could have been a bit better, and I was therefor never able to finish the game. The visuals is simple and pretty good for a jam game. The music was okay, but it got a bit annoying over time. Overall is this an interesting and fun little jam game.
Pretty impressive, Good job. I liked the thematic ending. The crows were a nice touch, I don't know if there are supposed to harm you, but I liked that you can kill them with the stone. Over all great job. I can see this becoming a finished product
Nice game!
Ok I finished the first loop lol. Then I found my dead body again lol Liked a lot, could have ended somewhere :-(
This was awesome! Really fitting idea for this theme. The game was fun too, reminded me a bit of "Getting over it".
I just jumped over the rock and kept going. Then got a blue screen and the game appeared to break. The words being unreadable detracted from the game. There was story and I liked the background aesthetic.
This is pretty cool, it reminds me of Getting Over It. The controls are definitely odd and they have a lot of bugs. Sometimes I would just start running at an incredible speed pushing the boulder. Also, getting up the slopes feels a lot like trying to jump up mountains in Skyrim, like I'm trying to go against what the game wants me to do, but there's no other way. The visuals are stylish, though, so good job there.
Ended up being more fun than I initially expected. I enjoyed the struggle of trying to get up some of the hills - balancing clicking furiously with jumping furiously! I was wondering how it would end and was pleasantly surprised
You've got my rating, good luck!
I like this idea a lot, it reminds me of a rage game where you finally get over the hill and then the boulder starts rolling down again and you have to go all the way down again to get it back. I also love the death sound and how it leaves your body wherever you died, I didn’t realize I could even die from throw my boulder on top of myself oops. I would suggest that next time you have a key for grabbing onto the boulder, because using both wasd (you could just make W jump as well), space, and the mouse was kinda awkward.
It's a nice rendition of the tale. My few nitpicks : I think some kind of background would be nice, and I never saw a crow. Also, at first I didn't know you could pick up the rock, so I jumped on it and did the entire level with the rock still at the bottom of the level (witch broke the game once I got to the end).
Wow, I just finished one loop! Really interesting and challenging, reminds me of Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy. Nice works. ^_^
Cool idea, I personally didn't experience dying although im pretty sure it fell on my head a couple of times. Maybe I just held it every time so it didn't end up killing me. Controls were okay but definitely need some tweaking.
What I found kind of annoying though was the music, gets repetitive pretty fast. But I was really glad the music changed once I reached the "top", and I actually quite liked it.
Well done, liked the story as well.
Neat idea! Implementation was a little rough around the edges, with some physics glitches here and there, and jarring musical transitions, but I enjoyed playing this more than some of the more polished game jam entries.
Interesting idea and really challenging
I think I broke the game... you can just leave your rock where it is, jump over and race to the top! Eventually the game just goes blue. ;)
Hahaha this is a great use of the theme. I had a little trouble coordinating the space bar and the A and D keys, I wonder if you could have used W for jumping? Eventually I have up and travelled up the hill without the rock, but I thought this was really creative and fun, so nice job!
