@mat4dor Thanks for catching this! I don't know how I missed it during testing haha. I just put up a fixed version.

I like corn.
I've always wanted to be a farmer who also sacrifices my loyal followers! This was a fun, chill (in contrast to the tone), and very polished entry! I loved the risk & reward that came from positioning crops while also making sure there would be enough space for future rounds. I also found it really cool that the game had as much challenge as it did despite not having a lose condition. I do wish some of the mechanics were a bit more fleshed out, such as getting more mulch for composting more valuable cards. I also really wish there was at least dialogue letting us know how everything ended.
Turn up for what! This game is super addictive. I could play it all day if I wanted to. Great job!
I've always wanted to go to space and harvest crops to unlock new areas! This is a well-designed, well-drawn, and well-scored game. I had a lot of fun with it! I even got 100% completion! That's not relevant to the feedback; I'm just including it for bragging rights. :potato:
Cool twist on a classic game! It was a bit clunky and stressful at first, especially immediately being thrown in with a time limit, but once I understood everything I got into a really good groove! I still do think that it was a bit awkward having to press shift along with clicking to plant when that's the only action you can perform on an empty tile anyway, but it wasn't that big of a deal; just a minor nitpick.
I've always wanted to harvest wheat with guns! This is an interesting mashup of top-down shooter and simple farming simulator. I would not think to combine those 2 genres, but it works! I had a blast blasting my enemies and crops! I do feel that the game could've been balanced better: the most expensive weapon was not the most useful, and if I wanted to I could have easily farmed (haha harvest joke) enough money to buy the win ticket with just the pistol.
Fantastic entry! This was a great, unique spin on the Mario 2 formula. I'm amazed at how much content you were able to pack into this, and it turned out wonderfully!
I clicked on the fish! :fish: This was a concept that sounded simple and easy when at first, but quickly got out of hand as more fish were introduced, which I loved. I also loved the surreal, unsettling designs for each fish; very creative!
I love messed-up versions of Animal Crossing, so this is right up my alley! I greatly enjoyed all of the :3s, although I do feel that the game could have been improved with some OwOs.
I had forgotten about the nightmare I had last week where I was a mother living next to a cornfield trying to find my son before he was abducted by aliens, but this game did such a good job of recreating it that I don't think I'm ever going to sleep again.
This is a neat little platformer! Movement felt nice to me, and the graphics were quite impressive! I love games that "draw" the world as you explore it. However, this effect was also the game's downfall for me; I could not make it past the second bullet room because I had no way of seeing the bullets from afar. The traps definitely should not start shooting until after the player enters the room. It's unfortunate; I was really enjoying everything up to this point, but I just couldn't persevere.
This was a nice experience! A very chill walk through a nice desert environment, with the occasional soul showing up to help you through. Good job!
@colisan That's not a head of lettuce, so it doesn't count. :unamused:
@hawkin Thanks for the feedback! Regarding the startup issues, what browser and Windows version are you using? I'd like to see if I can figure out what's going on there. I've had issues with WebGL exports not responding to input before, but refreshing the page usually fixed that. For the Windows version, it shouldn't be locked at all; I have it set to run as a resizable window (didn't have time to add a fullscreen toggle; I'm probably gonna make a boilerplate project with this included for the next jam lol).
@hawkin Thanks for the info! I was able to replicate the Windows issue on my end when using a single monitor (I normally use 2). It seems like I need to manually set the window position on startup or something like that. The window is still resizable, and you should be to "unlock" it just by dragging the right-hand side; definitely still inconvenient, though.
I've always wanted to be a billiard ball in a magical girl's basement! This game looks and plays fantastically! It's quite challenging, but I managed to make my way through! Now, I never wanna see a billiard table ever again. :8ball: :skull:
I've always wanted to command a swarm of bugs to devour wheat and destroy weaponry! This is a cool and unique twist on traditional tower-defense gameplay that I got a lot of enjoyment out of! I just wish we could've seen the aftermath of the swarm's feast
This is so fun! I've always wanted to be a mosquito, and this game does a great job of letting me achieve that dream! Super addictive and just the right amount of tricky! Great job! :frog:
My whole life, I've had 2 dreams: to be a bee and tell others what to do. I never thought I'd see a game that lets me achieve both, but here we are! This is a fun little experience with fantastic art and animations. I do wish that there were multiple minigames for each of the worker bees, but given the timeframe I think that what's here works well!
I've always wanted to stab sentient carrots! This is a nice, functional resource strategy game that definitely could use some polish (although you usually can't worry about that for a game jam haha). I don't really vibe with the storage mechanic though; it works, but it doesn't really have a purpose beyond serving as a win button when you reach 5000 carrots (I sadly did not). I really enjoyed the character art and the overall theming of the game, though I do wish the pixel sizing was consistent to make it all look nice and crisp. There were also a few typos and vague labels here and there that could be corrected. :carrot:
Finally! Whenever I fish in Stardew Valley I find myself thinking, "Man, I really wish I was giving birth right about now!" Thanks for making my dreams a reality, although I sadly could not successfully give birth.
Absolutely incredible! NES arcade platformers are one of my favorite aesthetics, and this game just nails it!
I can't believe it's not a JoJo reference!
