Wasnt super intuitive on what to do initially, but once I got my footing I found it to be a fun little game. Assets look great and the Truck is a beast. Great Job!

That was a fun little game! Took me a minute to figure out how to get everything started with the helper Chico but the gameplay loop is fun and quick, and I enjoyed it!

Fun game after you figure out the beginning. Have to evaluate my decisions in spending carrots because I rather baught another spawn upgrade for 3000 instead of storing and ending the game
This is a hang game. I was eating when I played this game, and it is also very suitable to play it during the meal time
I did it! I harvested all the carrots, I'm now ascending to carrot heaven!!!! Oh wait, I mean farmer's heaven, LOL! carrot.png
Nice little game, I could see this being expanded into something more, possibly a mobile game due to the way it's structured. With just a little more polish and other things to actively do and manage it could be nice relaxing game. However, it did take me a while to figure out the controls and an optimal route to progress in the game. Fixing both that and pacing issues should improve the experience by a lot. Good job overall!
I didn't get what to do at first but after that it's a nice little idle game, you could probably add content and turn it into a mobile game!

My weakness, idle games. Would like it to be able to run in the background. But otherwise I finished it.
Simple, but a fun and well done game - The carrot boss rocked my shit for a bit haha. I agree with the above as well about being able to be tabbed out would help.
The games was fun and I liked it. I couldn't quite figure out what the truck actually was doing lol. I think more of a waves approach would help it, instead of the constant onslaught, but overall its fun. Good work.
Fun concept but I found it a bit too "idle". Graphics were cute and the audio fit the game well. Adding an active mechanic like clicking on the carrots would have helped keep the player engaged while they're waiting for the numbers to tick up.

First of all, congrats on finishing it!
I have to say that I think it was too idle for my taste, but I like how you manage to fit in different upgrade systems that balanced each other out. I guess implementing a simple mechanic where you could slay some of the carrots yourself could help a bit.
Did you make the art yourself? If so, good job with it as well. The sound effects were a little bit repetitive, but I know it's pretty hard to come up with something in such a short amount of time.
I was impressed that you managed to find time to include options. Kudos for that! I also loved the humor in it - the silliness was cute and engaging.
Overall, really good job!

@hbocao Thanks a lot! I did everything by myself(thats why it has many errors, like stating the S key twice), im not working on it now but i do want to mess around with it in the future, make it an actually playable game you know? Overall, thanks for the kind words, it encourages me a lot!
I've always wanted to stab sentient carrots! This is a nice, functional resource strategy game that definitely could use some polish (although you usually can't worry about that for a game jam haha). I don't really vibe with the storage mechanic though; it works, but it doesn't really have a purpose beyond serving as a win button when you reach 5000 carrots (I sadly did not). I really enjoyed the character art and the overall theming of the game, though I do wish the pixel sizing was consistent to make it all look nice and crisp. There were also a few typos and vague labels here and there that could be corrected. :smile: :carrot:

It's cool having the player upgrade the enemies to progress faster, I went a bit overboard on the upgrades initially and had a while where my farmers kept on dying and I had to rely on the tractor to bail me out (which is entirely my own fault :grin:)
