Can't really play it since I'm not from the US and I'm not sure if I want you to spend a dollar on me :P Just wanted to tell you that this idea is so awesome. I really like it :D

Really interesting how you can create such a strong mood with basicall pretty simple effects. Really good job. I really felt like I'm stuck in some sunken ship and it's easy to see how people get really disoriented when they can't see the surface. Good job :)
Pretty creative art style :D Good job
Hello. First of all - Awesome entry. Spend a lot more time on this than I initially thought. There is a lot of stuff going right in this entry. The implementation of the theme is pretty good, the mini games are fun enough to master and the visuals are pretty cool. I also liked the big AHA moment that I don't want to spoil here :P The audio is something that could be improved. While your voice acting is really cool, I found the music a bit too repetitive. One of the puzzles also could need better feedback (maybe make it so that the buttons you pressed glow?). Definitely the most confusing thing for me was the ending. I have the feeling that I missed something but I couldn't really figure out if that's true. Oh well. Really had some good fun with this one. Good job and please keep making games :)
Like the others I sadly could not progress past the door where the key is needed. But other than that this is a cool entry. Also the lighting looks really awesome :) Good job
If MSPaint was a shooter :D Game was indeed epic. I really liked all the sprites. Sound was also really good. Another game that I will definitely come back to later :)
Oh wow. More a toy than a game but this is really awesome. Played around with it far too long. Sadly I can't really find the theme in this one. But other than that I really enjoyed it. Good job!
Really cool game :) Good job on the graphics and audio. Really reminds me a lot of the old quake racing maps. I really liked that you added enemies and that they get more and more as you complete laps. Also good idea to make the aiming really forgiving so that you can concentrate more on your own movement. I don't know if the timer is really necessary though. I would've had more fun if I could just go lap after lap and try to improve my time. So basically something more like TrackMania. Also the movement itself and jumping (especially air control) needs some work. But I know that stuff like this is really hard to get right in only 48 hours. I really hope you are thinking about updating it after the jam because this is something I could spend hours playing :) Keep me updated! :)
Really cool and polished entry. I especially like the art and the music. It reminds me of every underwater level in NES games :D Also good idea that you added multiple difficulties because the normal difficulty was a bit too hard for me. Good job :)
Really cool entry. The online scoreboard is a great addition. The different weapons are also good for replayability. I'm will be definitely coming back to this one :) Good job!
So is that a narrative card game? Very innovative :) Had fun. Good job!
Wow really awesome entry. Most clever use of the theme I have seen so far. The graphics are simple but fitting and the sound effects are also good. I had a bit of a hard time with the first puzzle because I didn't see the switch on the ceiling but other than that a really great entry. Good job!
Oh yeah that first lightning was shocking. Literally :D I really enjoyed your game.It is very well made. The art is beautiful. Jumping in platformers is really not easy to get right but your jumping is on the spot. I also liked how the level builds up with enemies and obstacles each time. You can really feel some tension building up. Some minor chords on a piano as a background music would have been a really good fit. Other than that, good job! :)
@zypo Your prayers have been heard :D HTML5 (web) version is now available. Have fun :)
@nohac But it says in the intro text that you're stuck in a loop around the star :( Oh well, no worries :D Glad that you enjoyed the game. Yay for Godot gang :)
@aterlamia Yeah that's just the font. A bit hard to read sometimes. Thank you for playing :)
Your game is so beautiful. I really like the soothing piano in the background. Good game to play after a stressful day :)
Awesome game! I really like the dark art style and the overall retro looks of it. Somehow this also gives me some Diablo 1 vibes. One thing that could be improved is that it would be easier to control if you could should in the direction your mouse cursor is pointing at. Other than that good job!
Hello. First of all - I really like the art. Great palette choice too :) The gameplay was really anxiety inducing but I think that's intentional. Theme is of course well implemented. Something that could be improved is the difficulty of the game though. I think it would be more motivating if you could last a little longer. But balancing is always hard. Especially in 48 hours :D But yeah, good job!
The premise of the game had me immediately interested. It reminds me a lot of Gauntled, which I played a lot as a Kid. But to be honest this game feels like it isn't really finished and also probably not what you imagined it to be in the end. While the visuals are really, really nice the combat is just not really fun. And by that I mean the systems / game design behind it. While it's good that the attack ranges are pretty wide there is not a lot of telegraphing happening to tell you when to get out of the way. And since you completely rely on dodging that's pretty bad. I even looked up the controls again because I thought there *must* be a parry or block button. And it's probably also not really a question of skill because I can see that you're having the same problems in your video. I hope my criticism is not too harsh. I'm just trying to give you some input on what to improve because, again, the premise of the game is pretty great and I would like to see this concept fully fleshed out. So consider to keep working on it. Thanks :)
Really cool entry. The art is really well done. All the animation convey the actions clearly. This is also a perfect example on how to do "game feel" right. The balancing is the only issue that is holding the game really back right now. There are quite a few "impossible" (at least they feel like it) situations where you have to lose health. I think the lowest I've gotten was to 6 or 7 (past the shop) and I have felt that that was more based on luck than on execution on my part. Maybe I'm just playing not well enough. What's your current High Score? I would also consider to take this game further post jam. I think you're really on to something with this one! Thanks for making it :)
Pretty cool for what it is and especially cool for a first game. Congrats! That's a major achievement! Great audio too. The only downside is that it ends so abruptly. Would have loved to see how you would have taken this game further. Keep making games! :)
@thane5 You probably mean what's called vertex snapping. Different to modern graphic renderers the PS1 used a lower precision (4.12 fixed point) to calculate the vertex positions. Additionally the textures would not always be rendered in the correct perspective, making them look distorted when viewed from angles. An effect called affine texture mapping. Other characteristics of the PS1 graphics are the use of a lower color depth, dithering, max texture sizes of 256x256 and of course a lower resolution. There are quite a few resources to be found online if you want to learn more about this :)
@splitpainter Hey SplitPainter. Yeah I'm not really sure why I opted out of Mood. I submitted the game when it was past 3 AM here after a very stressful 72 hour crunch. That does weird things to you brain :D Anyways. Yup, I wrote all the code from scratch. The character controller was pretty easy to do because there are no edge cases needed (there are no stairs, steeper slopes and so forth). Moving underwater is even easier. The UI is also very simplistic. It's just a bunch of RichTextLabels connected to signals. For the shop UI I made one scene which represents one item and then just iterated over all buyable stuff and added them to the shop scene. It's really much more simple than it probably looks. The TTS I've used is AWS Polly. If you have further questions feel free to message me on discord (details can be found on my itch profile page). Thanks for playing! :)
Good job Colisan! Short and sweet. Especially love your pixelart!
Easy to grok, light-hearted fun. What's not to love? Goob job!
