Nice game! Nice attempt at ludum dare, it looks a lot like a albion weapon  and you have created a good level system with puzzles included which creates lots of gameplay for a ludum dare game!

This was a nice experience. The grapple mechanic took a while to get working at the boss, but I managed!
i was able to complete the game, and *mostly* without killing anyone! aside from the grappling hook i thought the controls were pretty intuitive. i almost thought the game ended at the first flat area because i couldn't figure out how to use the grappling hook

Awesome entry. Was getting better and better with every try. Thumbs up guys. :-) Had fun playing it.
Damn, impressive!!
Haha, i have avoided the inevitable! :DD After the boss I could wall climb and get around the barricade with slowing time and roll, and the enemies couldn't follow me to the starting zone, and the ranged enemies couldn't see me up the hill. Cool game, the rolling felt good, escpecially when I could jump with it on uphills! Halberd_avoided_the_inevitable.png
Nice work! I really enjoyed the vibrant colours of the world! You fit in a lot of stuff! :)
Great game! Always great to beat some enemies :) the mouse sensitivity was really high? don't know is it me or the game. Anyway good work!!
@alks you can adjust the mouse sensitivity in the settings menu (escape key)
I think instruction wise a bit hard and mouse sensivity is a problem but nice 3d gameplay, great job!

Nice game!! kept me entertained for a while, very impresive for a game jam!! Loved the lego like art style, congrats mate!!
Amazing work! This is probably the game I enjoyed playing the most so far this LD.
The UI/UX work is great. The tutorial at the beginning was well designed, and all the little tooltips for what key to press for the hook and interacting was appreciated. The checkpoint before climbing the wall at the beginning showing the castle at the other side of the water helped establish what the objective was in an immersive way.
The game was long enough to show all it's mechanics and short enough to not get boring.
Graphics, while simple, maintained a consistent style for the scenario, objects and enemies.
The boss was awesome. It used the mechanics taught through the game in cool ways. The ending message saying you no longer respawn was a nice surprise, and helped tie the game to the theme (although loosely).
Now, some things I find flawed:
The grapple hook tutorial wasn't clear enough. The glowing orb helped, but it took a while for me to rotate the camera up to see the ledge.
The combat felt too simple and slow. The two attacks felt too similar and there wasn't enough feedback when damaging the enemies/getting damaged.
I didn't understand the environmental puzzle at first, and when I solved it by accident and tried to figure it out, I noticed the colors. Having the entire blocks be colored instead of just the tiny strip at the top and using a more saturated color for the orbs would have helped notice that sooner.
Fighting the endless army felt epic at first, but after a few minutes of fighting and barely loosing any life it got boring. In the end I just stayed still until I died.
The camera sensitivity was way too high.
With that said, congratulations. This is a 5/5 for me in most categories.

Nice game! I really like the different abilities you have. The fighting mechanics felt a bit simple but the game managed to keep me playing until the end so I still enjoyed it a lot! The puzzle was really cool and I also didn't expect a boss fight and the invasion in the end, seems like quite a lot of work :O Also, I really liked how you gave hints during gameplay, like which keys to press or that I have to solve the puzzle to continue. I didn't need to read the description to be able to play it until the end. However, I didn't know the I could use two different attacks and a slowmo effect, which is pretty cool, but I didn't use it (maybe I should have read the controls first :P). I think you could improve the level design a bit, I was missing some details (but I understand, considering the short amount of time and the trees still were a really nice touch). Also, you could add a few more sound effects and warp/pitch down the sound during the slowmo effect. Still, good job and great respect for making that alone!
