Really nice game! Seems I don't know words :(
This made me think about my own mortality while exercising my click 5/5
It's really, really well made, but it's kinda unoriginal. Also, the biggest challenge is the controls and not so much the game itself.
Web version now available, sorry for the bad performance.
@sokette, it seems this might be a driver issue, but I think you may be able to get the web version to work. The problem has nothing to do with Lisp, in this case the lisp code is running inside an interpreter which is written in C.
This is a great warmup for a full day of programming.
18561! Really fun. Kind of a classic style of game. The gameplay works really well, especially when I found out I didn't have to click every shot.
Maybe I don't understand this game, but I feel you could get infinity score by just clicking a tile in a constant interval. Maybe if some challenges were added this would be more interesting.
Really nice! Also cool voxel car!
Nice game. Played the HTML version. It seems to way to survive is to stay far away from the pod, because then the ants does not attack it :D
I didn't really understand this game. I think it is some kind of tower defence :)
Really hard, but nice game!
154! FASTEEEEER!
@stephen321, thanks, seems something went wrong during upload.
@gagapete, actually, that is a much better story for the game! I wish I had come up with that.
Sorry about the clunky controls! I tried to come up with something better, but that broke everything, so now it's tank controls >_<
I like this, feel like i got a tactic working :D If i could just shoot without moving...
I can't start this. I am just getting a blank screen
Lol, I played this for 2 hours. Good job, very fun :D
@honey-pony, I think it was kind of addictive, I kept trying to figure out if there is some system with the style of the planets, because i desperately needed more wood. Only read that the 3rd planet is more rich by the end.
Anyway, by the end, the countdown just wrapped around when it reached 0, so i feel like I didn't really get to the 'real' end?
@honey-pony, sorry, I already closed it. To be honest I just suspected you didn't anticipate anybody to finish it and just left it out. But I also thought, maybe the new countdown was the real one, so maybe I should just continue playing. Again, another mystery!
Actually, the random feeling of the planets, gives me kind of a kick when I finally reach that tree-planet. I think it would be less exciting if I knew what I'd find on the planets.
65 fish coins! Nice game!
Really fun, I wish I had more time because I'm so slow.
Awesome stuff!
got to level 14, then I became a bit optimistic with how hard enemies i could kill.
Fish all the way!
It works quite well and is fun. But I insist I have played something exactly like this before.
@gamedevtraum, thanks for playing! I am very happy you enjoyed it.
Three.js is actually pretty amazing, just started using it for this ld, but everything works very well and if you have any knowledge of how rendering engines work it is pretty intuitive. The only problem was that we decided to write everything in JS, so there is definitely some code in there I never want to see again!
The embedding does not work.
awesome stuff! I wish i had more lives never really got very far.
Played it for a bit. Very hard to jump from ladders, otherwise quite fun! Is there an ending?
Really cute graphics. Its not very challenging, but kind of relaxing.
Incredibly stylish!
I really liked the graphics and style of game. Unfortunately I fell of the map.
Very fun! the game stopped working for me. I could really use a way to turn around without moving.
@evilmurlock, It stopped after some time in the first level with the cat with the mirror.
Very well made... A little insane, but well made :)
Needs polishing =)
@panda-king-976, I dont know, maybe adding a leveling up system or some rogue-like elements or something?
:>
Cozy!
That was pretty fun :D
Relly nice idea! Super hard though, but great work!
I cannot run the game. Did you forget to upload the assets? ``` Finished dev [optimized + debuginfo] target(s) in 0.30s Running `target/debug/comfy_rust` LOGGER: env_logger thread 'main' panicked at src/aseprite_loader.rs:178:38: called `Result::unwrap()` on an `Err` value: Os { code: 2, kind: NotFound, message: "No such file or directory" } note: run with `RUST_BACKTRACE=1` environment variable to display a backtrace ```
Got it to work on my mac! Really spot on the theme! Also I feel very safe knowing its written in Rust.
Hi @framboisedodue, thanks for trying it out. There are some little dots that shows the way, but really I just wanted to make a walking simulator so you got like 95% of it :)
@fnelix, originally the protagonist was supposed to be a detective, so obviously trenchcoat required. But then something happened and I felt like making a forest walk simulator instead.
@rpgwanderer, thanks! Proteus was an inspiration for me!
@sharploaded, fair enough, it turns ai is good at generating ambient piano tunes, so I did spend a ridiculous small amount of time on that part. I should have spent more time on the walking sounds, but it was late.
@cagibi, Thanks for the feedback. I find mysel navigating between the trees to keep the camera clear. I should just have increased the near component of my perspective matrix.. oh well...
@yellow, Thanks for playing! You definitely should, it's not as hard as it sounds. This time I wrote my own 3D code, but previously I had some very good experiences with Three.js. My terrain generator has a problem where it might place either you or the mountain in the middle of the sea. Sorry about that!
@denvil, this is something I saw on Mac Pro with a 120 hz screen on google chrome. Maybe you could try a different browser? I tried to fix it, but I cannot test it myself.
What kind of democracy is this!
I like the music and the general theme! I find its really hard, I could not kill a single mob without loosing life. Also I wish I could buy some upgrades with all my cash!
Very nice game. I got hooked once i got to the ant, but I could not figure out the password.
It does not work for me:
The following features required to run Godot projects on the Web are missing: Cross Origin Isolation - Check web server configuration (send correct headers) SharedArrayBuffer - Check web server configuration (send correct headers)
at 500 its started to lag a bit. at 700: some serious duck tunnelling starts to appear. at 1000: the universe collapses.
Very stylish!
