I loved the background music, just a little bit louder, about the mecanics, i found 2 little bugs, if you stay bettwen the levers you can activate two at same time, and sometimes the enemys spawn very close to you, and you takes a collision damage. But i enjoied the idea of battle arena and the proposal of the game!!

fun little game, music was a bit too loud though (and a bit distorted). i liked the sprites and the monster attacks. cool idea to sell the ingredients to the wizards.

Cool game! I like the music, the sound quality is a bit rough but the songs themselves are bangers. I enjoyed the art. I like the concept of having orders and fulfilling them. My biggest gripe is the speed of the game. It definitely has that sluggish "game jam feel" to it. I'd love for it to be faster. Either way, fun entry. Good work!

castitatis 2024-04-16 05:09

I love the music, it really fits the theme of the game :id: it was a fun game!

rincs 2024-04-16 06:20

Amazing take on this kind of game, and choosing your own difficulty!! Awesome!

happyhour 2024-04-17 00:33

Nice take on the theme. The song with the vocals kind of owns honestly lmao.

This was a pretty cool idea! Reminds me of a simple mob farm in something like minecraft taken to another level. Music was great too. I think being able to spend gold on things like speed upgrades, item magnets, etc. would make the game more fun for a longer period of time. Great work with this!

eric-nguyen 2024-04-17 00:39

Loved the music. I loved turning on all the monsters and slaying everything I could. It was addicting to slay a giant group of monsters. What do you think about adding an item shop to upgrade yourself? Great submission!

quinn-davis 2024-04-17 00:47

This was very fun! The risk/reward of turning on more levers is interesting. It feels a little bad that it seems impossible to avoid taking damage, but then you get health back when you sell things so it doesn't really matter. Would be fun to spend your gold on upgrades or something.

I really like this concept and the lore behind it. Did you try having the character move a little faster? Btw thanks for the volume warning, it is indeed quite loud. Also, is there anything you can do with the gold?

captainspacecat 2024-04-17 01:02

I found that there wasn't much reason to leave any of the levers off. The player moves too slowly to reliably dodge attacks, so you might as well just dive in swinging and get as much out of it as possible. I think this is a really interesting idea and I'd love to see you take it beyond this jam!

bluedingo 2024-04-17 01:08

being able to choose which enemies you spawn was a neat concept, killing the enemies felt satisfying. One suggestion would be to not have the enemies attack when they spawn in as the player gets blindsided by something they can't really dodge. I also like the voice over for when the wizard leaves when you run out of time for him

wigglypainter 2024-04-17 01:33

cute little game, great work!

gaverion 2024-04-17 02:37

Game was fun! Being able to choose what to spawn was a unique mechanic. I could see the selling mechanic being expanded upon for some interesting gameplay!

rolferm 2024-04-17 06:42

I like the music and the general theme! I find its really hard, I could not kill a single mob without loosing life. Also I wish I could buy some upgrades with all my cash!

heretic 2024-04-17 07:29

it was very cool, the music and art style is awesome, I liked the combination of the shop and summoning mechanics with the ingredient extraction, I would like more weapons and smoother switching of the music themes

skizil 2024-04-17 07:32

Love the pixel art & Music!

redoxeide 2024-04-17 07:56

Very nice concept.

I think it's a little hard to dodge attacks. They come out instantly for the most part. Maybe having a wind up or some kind of graphic or warning when an attack is about to happen would help.

d0vid 2024-04-17 11:44

Very cool idea !

Combat is holding the game back a little I feel, if the player could move faster or have more options such as sprit, a dodge/block button or something it would've been even more enjoyable imo

Great job nonetheless, the graphics are cute and the music slaps !

roman-dubrovin 2024-04-17 15:24

I like the music and idea

unchain 2024-04-17 17:25

Have to say the sound is too loud. Otherwise nice idea!

koosalagoopagoop 2024-04-17 20:18

I like the retro feel to this, and the concept of "checking the back" and actually getting something from there  I really wish I could do something about avoiding attacks, though - I felt like I just have to take the beating to satisfy my customers :)

itsboats 2024-04-18 07:08

theres a lot of cool concepts in here like risk reward system for which levers to switch and the customers deal dmg/heal based on how much of something they want. in practice i ended up just flipping all the switches and facetanking enemies while collecting ingredients tho xD i think those systems are perfect as they are, but the problem was some of the hitboxes seemed a lot larger than they needed to be so it wasnt really viable to dodge or kite. a dash woulda been way fun too! a way to spend gold would be so dope too like if you can recruit lil dudes to help you fight or ways to upgrade your shop like in the moonlighter game

i died cuz a bunch of customer leave at the same time xD MobFarm.png

ruslana 2024-04-18 22:13

I imagine gnome hard rock music in a pixel world just as you made it :D

Is there a way to spend money?

amarokczukay 2024-04-23 10:57

cool game loop! it's nice to kinda set your own difficulty by switching the levers.

i wish there was something like upgrades to make the progression more captivating. the gameplay can be too repetitive at some point, so making a goal or a timer or something would maybe engage the player more?

overall, i liked the idea and execution of this game, it just lacks a little bit to keep me playing it for long!
