20955 Pretty fun game, quite polished.
Super fun, great graphics, music, and sound. I like all the powerups, and how they stack when you get multiple ones. Very nice work.
My score is 4980. Game is so call
18561! Really fun. Kind of a classic style of game. The gameplay works really well, especially when I found out I didn't have to click every shot.
Thank you for playing and the feedback. Hope you have as much fun playing it as we did making it.
A very cool arcade-like title. Reminds me of a mix between Asteroids and Missile Command (with some Wii Tanks and Space Invaders sprinkled on top).
Nice idea.. Liked the weapons shoting in other directions :) Thats my highscore Screenshot 2022-04-15 203410.png
Amazing game!!!!, great job, the retrowave looks and the neon in the shoots its look great, pretty addictive too. great oportunity for publishing
Cool game! It really got me focused and stressed. Mechanics are pretty simple yet engaging. Sound effects are a bit too loud to me and fading out the soundrack. Which is awesome btw. Good job!
Very solid entry! I really liked the graphics and this was a classic setup for the theme. I liked the powerups as it spiced the game up and makes the player adapt to their new temporary power. Great work!
I really like the music! The rotating effects for the planet/asteroids looked really good and 3-dimensional, and there was a nice variety of powerups to keep things interesting. It might have been neat to try letting the powerups keep building up over time instead of expiring, so that there's more of a sense of progression. It was still a fun experience though, nicely done!
@paul-nadan I'm glad you liked music, music is my main background so that part tends to be a bit easier for me :) And I was really proud of the 3D rotating effect we were able to achieve as well!
We had actually thought about making some of the powerups permanent at one point, but ultimately decided not to as it started to get too easy very quickly (I had a couple sessions when testing with permanent powerups that lasted over 20 min with no sense of difficulty increase!). Of course, we could have tried balancing the difficulty progression with the permanent powerups, but we just didn't have enough time for that. If we decide to take this game further, however, we'll definitely include some permanent powerups and many more powerups overall!
Thanks for the feedback and I'm glad you had fun playing!!
I'm definitely a sucker for space games! Good music and sound design. Earth is doomed if I'm ever at the helm for defending it though apparently as I cannot aim. During the early game it'd be nice if the power-ups lasted just a smidge longer since - as far as I can tell anyway - not many are available during the first half-minute or so.
I got 22237 :) While it seems simple, it's really well polished and balanced. The feedback from everything feels great, I loved the variety and frequency of the power-ups - enough to keep it interesting without lasting too long. It can get very tense when you're trying to shoot a UFO as more asteroids keep filling up the screen! Really enjoyed it, lots of fun
