Loved the creepy vibe! Graphics fit the mood you were going for, but I would look into harmonizing all the assets so that they fit each other a tiny bit better. I also liked how frantic it got in the later days, but I would look into developing some sort of a win condition. Good job!

Nice brain teaser, though I think the wire part had one more solution which wasn't considered valid. Ended up spamming the last (wire) task and got jump-scared by the sound effect of the fully solved box :laughing: Nice little puzzle game!

Nice concept, good execution, I love the card/paper art-style, really fits the game. I found the win-loss condition a bit confusing - like previously mentioned, the running out of cards mechanic is a bit abrupt and I didn't understand how I ran out. Either way, nice game and potentially worth polishing further!

@ukirain, great idea about the cards, I am thinking of a mechanic right now where you can have two more spells that you could switch out if you wanted in some shop/hideout area :bulb:

@cannibalgirl, Diablo certainly was a huge inspiration for this game! It's a shame our team was a tiny bit small for us to implement randomised levels, as this was an idea at first, but very quickly discarded due to the lack of hands and time. Thanks for the feedback :two_hearts:!

@eddrw, @diana-shuke will be satisfied to hear that you and all others found her cover art lovely! Very useful feedback regarding bigger maps and randomised levels - that's something we will certainly bring into a more developed idea of this game :paintbrush:

@deepfreeze I am glad we managed to scratch that itch :D I absolutely agree that there is a major lack of polish in the game - that's something we're hoping to solve in the next LDJam (or GGJ) as well as by further developing this idea. :rat:

@jitspoe & @luhuchiha - Projectiles per second are my favourite too :D Yup, the game lacks a lot of "juice", I'll make sure to do my research into similar games of this genre to get some inspiration/ideas. :books:

@bloodycoin thanks for playing and increadibly thorough feedback :heart: Agree with everything you said here, originally I was going to use navmesh for rat navigation but I didn’t have a pro version of unity and didn’t want to even attempt to implement A* in such short time :D Teeth collider situation certainly lacks polish, there’s probably a way to ignore collisions for a certain layer. All round good ideas which I will absolutely consider in future games :tada:

Wow! Animations, cutscenes, mechanics, sounds - it's amazing how much polish you managed to apply in the short period we all had. Loved the concept and genuinely had fun playing. Not much criticism from me, maybe only that sometimes the hit box of the scythe feels a bit off in certain cases - graphically it looks like it hits, but it doesn't register - but this is just nit picking. Well done!

Lovely game! Reminds me a bit of "Reigns" games. I really liked the story of it and how it unfolds as you play your cards. I think what could be improved besides what you already mentioned in your description would be to introduce game states to make it clearer when a certain card is played and what visually show what happens (your crop increases, a certain effect takes place, etc). All-in-all - really lovely game. Good job!

EDIT: Forgot to mention - very well done tutorial, good job on finding the time to include it in the game!

Great concept and fun to play! Controls are easy enough, but the challenge is there! Stupid roombas are way too familiar to me so I felt pain all the way through the game. Only feedback: I wish the movement of the robot would be a bit more predictable - if it hits on the right bumper it should go left and vice verse, this way it would be a tiny bit easier. That, and also, more levels (probably lack of time, but I would highly recommend pursuing this idea further). Good luck!

Great graphic, I love how you did the black hole visuals. It's a bit hard seeing the objects that move in a circular orbit, maybe something can be done to make it easier to predict where they'll be when they reach your plane - Maybe something like guitar hero, a line from the center of the black hole that is on the same plan as your spaceship, and then just put indicators blue (or red), green and yellow to indicate where the projectile will hit. Great submission nonetheless.
