How, HOW!? How did you build this in such a short time. It is so extensive and a fresh take on base building where you have to demolish your own base all the time. just, wow

The feel is really cool. Nice progression system, cool graphics, nice sounds. Very well done!

Whoops... we tried a little too hard at your game I think :p Great game and a lot of fun! :D
@caeonosphere I think you're mistaken. We didn't break your game in any way. We simply crushed it!
Holy s**t, what an amazing game! By far the game I'v eplayed the most out of the jam till now (not including playing/testing my own game of course) great job!
Amazing! The art, the feel, the whole style. It fits together so well and feels so polished! Very cool game!
WOW, this game is amazing. Completely polished. great sound design, absolutely amazing art, 10/10. Best game i've played!
Awesome! such a fun puzzle game. Simple mechanics but very well executed. I've been playing Timberborn lately and this fits right up that alley. Great job!
fun game! makes me think of those old school browser games.Nice work!
This was great, absolutely hilarious. It was a bit long for my tste, but still incredibly well done!
Nice game guys! love the music especially. It really completes the feel
Fun game, great atmosphere! Difficulty curve feels a little slow and some hotkeys for swapping the tools would be great. Otherwise the sound and graphics and gameplay over all are very good!
Cool entry! as many mentioned before me it would be nice to have some more clear guidance on what to do. Overall a nice style and good work!
Such a fun game! great style, amazing sounds. Well executed over all, it really feels inevitable!
Cool game! Very impressed you managed to create such a 3D game. Maybe a little intro as to how the game works would have been nice. Overall cool game!
Nice game! The concept is simple but really well executed. The only feedback I could think of is that it is relatively hard to aim right. I played with with the arrow keys maybe that explains it. Overall very fun game!
@Beefsock Thanks! We spend a lot of time trying to optimize it :D
@gekkie @meritcoding @mortalfosca @bios3008 @dreamscale @lintfordpickle @ffffchai thanks so much for the kind words and the feedback over all. Tweaking the cars, gameplay and polishing took a very very long time but we're very happy with the overall results as well. We're very aware of places to improve the game, but given the time this is what we could come up with.
Thanks for playing!
@tim-sims thank you!
@jrevel that's a pretty neat idea actually! We wanted to explore more features and the gameplay loop in general, but, as you can probably imagine, given the time pressure we weren't really able to do so. But we might extend on it later! Thanks for the idea
hey @wegpast we are aware of some bugs in the first level, mostly the death screen and maybe the instructions could be a bit clearer yeah! If we find the time we'll try to patch it out, but this might be outside the gamejam. In general, thanks for the feedback!
@robin-schmitz @ocwal @angiemon Thanks for all the kind words and great (and extensive) feedback! It's so nice to hear you all enjoyed it!
Very impressive. How did you find the time to do all this. Just wow! Great job
This is amazing. We felt like the theme pushed towards rushed and stressful games. But this is just so darn relaxing. Amazing, all of it!
This is awesome! An idea I was sure people were gonna do, but you did it so well. the music, the feel, the stress. Great game!
Nice game! Very polished and steady throughout. Well done!
Amazing art! Thanks for making this!
Hi all thanks for the responses and your feedback., we greatly appreciate it! @okshirl For some reason the WebGL port is giving us some troubles. We should have functional versions for Mac, Windows, and Linux available (For Linux (and possibly macOS) don't forget to add executable rights to the main executable. On linux this means `chmod +x ./Peter\ OS.x86_64`). So maybe give one of those a try instead? @ale and @killerI isn't it beautiful when you have to ask yourself: "Is this a bug? or a feature?" Let's just say that we'll be patching some things in Peter OS along the way as we are dedicated to allow Peter to get more life out of his phone than is currently possible. The first patches have already been applied so maybe you could try them again for a better experience :)
@ale about the songs: yeah we know, but as stated in the description: we do not own the rights, have no commercial purpose and by playing/downloading you agree to not do that as well. On top of that we've cranked down the sampling rate in such a way that the quality is awful enough to not entice any sort of infringement :)
@gryph0n @okshirl @ale @mandy858 @thomas-yanuziello @cosmonautical @killerb @actuallythemoon @biggu @senso @jeanne-rossat @thatzniko @logovostudio @vhalenn @arfilish @kilian-baptendier @sageware @talenvin @nicekot @black-potion @msplanlos @erlioniel @beefsock @dodidouda @gn0cchi @dhim @lorwon @krebzor @pragmascript @chybby @maxkyckling @arktas @savolae @yellowkamel
For all of you that are still wondering. We heard you about the bugs! As per Ludum Dare rulings we have been bugfixing a few major ones as to not limit the experience without altering the gameplay. Not all bugs have been patched from Peter OS, but at least the most obvious freeze one should be fixed.
If this was a big problem for you, maybe have another look!
Cheers
Well, that was not what I expected xD (but in a good way!) The is game may still be in a rough state, but if you implement all of the things that you've mentioned on your page you should be able to make a cool game out of it. Well done guys!
Very fun game! We thought of a similar concept in our brainstorming phase, but your execution is awesome! the intro cinematics are also crazy for the timespan.
Awesome work!
Very nice cross of management and sort of bullet hell. I can easily see this become a fun indie game in that genre.
If I were to give one tip I would suggest making your bullets a bit faster? It's very frustrating to run after a UFO and firing at it only for it to more or less outrun your bullets :p
Still, very nice game, I had fun :)
Very fun little game. It looks very cute, but don't be deceived. Playing can get very stressful!
I liked your game a lot! The music was very soothing as well. Nice little casual farming game. It took me while to find out there was also a research tab, so once I had about a million carrots I found out there was more to do xD
You made a lot of content in such a short time, nice job!
Only tips I could think of is maybe to have some hotkeys for selecting cards, a button to sell all produce only (not your seeds) and maybe a way to skip the pack buying animation. Especially when looking for a specific type of seed it can get a little tedious.
Again, great job over all!
Very cool and polished little platformer! The small puzzles with your bag are fun too. You could probably get rather elaborate with those if you were to make a full game out of this.
One thing that kept interrupting me so to speak was that you always leave your bag in front of you, more often than not kicking it into the abyss right after dropping it xD
Overall cool game!
@pauljs @madcoil @huozhedexiaoc @cactusnyak It's not done yet! we're still working on building the application, but apparently the page already got published. Stay tuned and we'll message you :)
@pauljs @madcoil @huozhedexiaoc @cactusnyak The game is live now!
@takhomasac That is indeed intended. They have some choices on which path to take, because after all we thought: Bugs don't follow roads in real life either ;)
Throwing you off a little was the whole point. Thanks for playing!
Very nice little platformer! I had trouble trying to get the ldjam version of WebGL running as well, but it was working on your itch.io page.
I really liked throwing all these shovels at the enemies
Great game! It was pretty hard to frantically swap out the various actions between waves or mid-round. I like that the limited space really shined through in your actions, we had ideas similar to this as well and I'm glad to see someone else actually going through with it.
The art and sound are great, with a bit more polish, especially a slightly smoother experience swapping actions is what I am thinking, would make this a great game I'd happily play again.
Well done!
Nice game and fun interpretation of the game! An amazing art style and complete feeling thanks to the tutorial and help screens and such. I think I spotted some times where two areas did not seem to combine entirely correctly, but otherwise a great feeling overall
oah awesome game! It is so complete and the art and music are amazing. The gameplay may be a little simple, but that resulted in a very complete game. Awesome work everyone :)
Very cool game! Your execution is insane, we build a game. In a very similar niche (so for all you mouse gesture bullet haven fans have a peek :)) your game is on another level though with how complete it is, great job!
can only say one thing: hahahahahahaha really really funny, great game :)
Wow! what an awesome game, it's so complete I got dragged completely into it. The chill vibes the music give are really different from the stress of playing the game :)
Maybe you can check out our game as well (Soon to be published) it's in a very similar niche!
Overall a very nice game! It was quite hard to stay alive for long. I really liked using stars to summon and figuring out how the colors worked and that I could not reuse them afterwards. Would be interesting to see where this game could go!
Indeed who would want to hurl a cat?! At most gently spin it, but even better, pet it! :)
Nice game you all made congrats!
Nice game Patrick! I wish I could articulate more commands at once ;p The game really gets fun when the cat is not satisfactory and you have to better think about what it is that is being requested and translate that to the proper commands. Some real requirements engineering going on here, well done!
Nice game! the music really adds a lot to the whole feel :) Great job!
Oh wow this game is insane and the graphics are really top-notch! I'm always so incredibly impressed with what artists can cook up in just such a short time span. It really gave that old-skool feel of playing mini games such as on mario back in the nintendo DS era.
Epic entry loved!
@aly-name that should show some gifs/videos of the tutorial showing how to draw spells. We saw this in a Web build too. Mind telling us which platform you're playing on? We tested both MacOS (Apple Silicon) and Windows and those seem to work fine.
It shows should show the gifs in our description basically :)
@ursagames yeah even for us developers it's quite a hard game! We thought of all these concepts for different spells too, but in true gamejam fashion had to cut a lot of things from our scope :/
The pentagram gives a heal though ;)
About your request for cooldown timers, we did have that! I think (at least lvl 1) should have proper cooldowns with effects and everything but somehow the UI got borked and now in later levels it is somehow gone :s Something easy to fix I'm sure but not at 02:00 AM on a monday when the deadline is at 03:00
Thanks for the feedback though, definitely a good suggestion!
Nice game, I felt rewarded for sticking it out until I got to kill all guys on the same day :)
Well done!
Rather proud of a score like this. The version I played (post-jam) is so smooth and has such a good drawing mechanic, it works even better than ours. Very impressive! Well done and such a complete game!
Untitled.png
Oah what an awesome game! The game is so polished and complete! Summoning bread as a primary defense is grand :) If there was anything to be requested it would be music and SFX (on the web version it did not seem to work for me at least).
Overall rating: Awesome :)
wajoo this feels so complete and made in Godot that's always nice. Awesome job on this, I like the real time-puzzle aspect of this. You are constantly waying your options!
pro tip I found was that you just have to wait until the enemy takes a mushroom and then immediately take it back, that requires less force from you and ensures the enemy spores are small :)
Overall a very nice game that I could see grow into something bigger!
oaaah 20 levels, really? wow! very nice and addictive, before I new it I was hooked and halfway through. Getting to kill the minotaurs is so funny with those sprites xD
Very nice puzzle game, sometimes you really need to think about how to tackle this, great job on the puzzle design!
quite a hard game if I may say so, but eventually i was able to reach the flower/star kind of thing but that took a lot of tries. Those tiny creatures at the later end are awful xD
Nice game!
@shakedimus please tag me too when you get an html build up!
Solid game! I love the sticking to everything mechanic it works so well and instantly messes with my perception on what is left and right xD The overall feel is also very good with the music and the sound effect, well done!
oh this is so cute! I've known about bees doing little dances to let others know where to go, but I had not seen a game about it. The memory, staying on the beat, sending the right bees at the right time, keeping the nectar in mind. It really is just enough to keep you engaged and make little mistakes.
Great job on such a complete experience!
wait how do you only have 12 ratings (for now). Your game is so nice and complete! the art is amazing, the vibe is really chill and there are tons of levels. Great work you guys! I do have to mention though, who of you has this trainwreck of a keyboard because that does not look like mine I can tell you that much with the random ordering and the upside down keys xD
Great design I really liked the game!
What a charming little game! I love how they run after you, i mean look at all the friends I made! Untitled2.png
I love the coffee-stained look of the background and the overall aesthetics. Games like these always make me wish to make games with such art rather than the pixelart ones we tend to do. Overall, great entry be proud!
nice entry! a classic style game with a little twist. It did feel a little bit like there was luck involved in what combinations you can even make given the random order at the top. Otherwise a solid foundation that you could make a nice game out of!
A fun little game! never has chasing a rabbit felt so intsene. the music, the setting it is really quite something.
peeep peeep peeeeep! xD
Nice game! classic mechanics and a nice beat never hurt! The art is adorable I really like it, well done!
Wow what a great game! I really liked the puzzle element. I was constantly trying to use less resources than you had to complete the game. I was a little bothered by not being able to see where the robots were, after which I quickly realized this was the whole point of tiny creatures xD
A very nice entry that you deserve to be proud of, great work!
this is so cool, I love a branching narrative. WE tried this in a game once but found it incredibly hard to properly program! Any tips on how to go about that? Especially when you have earlier choices locking or unlocking later ones it became quite a nightmare for us.
In any case well done! I think I got carried out by a bird, but it was a little unclear to me so I might have been eaten after all xD
nice game, the sound effects are great xD The overall feel of the game is quite polished for a gamejam game, nice job!
oh wow! The art and overall atmosphere in this game is awesome! It's eerie and anxiety inducing and plays like reading a twisted children's book. It was very nice when treated for what it was trying to do! 5 stars on all art aspects!
Untitled2.png
I launched my cat a really far away and ended up outside the level xD Even though the physics are a bit finicky it is a nice concept for a puzzle game. Doing tricks with the weight and everything is really quite cool!
