Superstar Surgeon: a Sensitive Subject by Fupi 2023-05-15T05:58:29Z

I was not logged in while playing it, but my oh my... I was having a bad moment and playing the game helped me! The only trouble I had was aiming at times, but might be me being slow in the second level I believe [did get the good end I believe~] but the time given makes up for it. The music combined with the art aand the lyrics was very well done. Its not too long either nor too short, maybe... I will play to get all endings!

Popcorn Odyssey by 0X_VOID_X0 2023-05-04T18:46:18Z

I had loads of fun! Like the graphics, they be cute and clear. The humor in the text made me laugh quite a bit. The music gives a reasonable calm and relaxing atmosphere, in my opinion in fits the game- especially accompanied by the sound effects. The level where you first hit the soft-wall to then have the way around made me chuckle. Instead of putting walls in the way you used such a fun mechanic. I do think it is a tad too long, ended after a few tries on the level that tells 4 to go.

It does remind me of a game for mobile phones and alike, however the taxi-

Those timers where you wait for the taxi tho... My heart! Lastly, the long jump of trust on the row of leaves was fun and satisfying [having seen it at the start of the level was a smart move]. For me, that was the perfect ending. This be my first game to rate, so have not really material to compare it to- but for me it was amazing~

BURNOUT by Wouter52 2023-05-05T04:23:44Z

@affinitychris @wouter52 was already wondering who would find it  Thank you for the feedback, good to hear you enjoyed it!

Contraband by Leo Barber Dev 2023-05-15T06:12:25Z

You can fly against the top border! That helped. Have seen a few little details like for example in level two with the text repeating and saying 'the the' but I be nitpicking now because it was fun~ The story was fun!

Cell by breakableBird 2023-05-04T19:10:03Z

The concept I understand and seems fun, though I had a bit of difficulty understanding when you could get what and what the pump was exactly gonna do. However it is smart to give something so one cannot be softlocked. 4 minutes is just a bit too long for me. The music did set the atmosphere more on the focus of... Tech I guess? Most sound effects are fitting, for example the gathering of the dots.

Too bad about the custom fonts! They indeed make it a bit more difficult. I would advise... - You add a picture/screenshot here in the reactions of how it had to look like. You worked hard for it so even if not in the rating it can been seen. - You put it in the description above a bit more clear by giving it a title as 'Font issue', making it bold so people their eye is drawn faster to it. - Perhaps put a little game description on this introduction page. Up to you if you use it!

All in all, the concept is fun and the game appears simple and intuitive. It certainly fits with the theme.

LD54 — Limited Space

Stacked by Skvader_418 2023-10-06T02:09:55Z

I was first looking at it- Oh well, its a game... To then very quickly become like 'this is actually pretty fun!' Which was very nice, since I be tired. It kept me entertained, and the music definitely added a ton to it. Simple and quick to learn with a little trial and error. I definitely started getting more worried as the tower rose! Gonna keep it open to see when I feel more awake if I can better my scorescore gaming thingy.png

Sowscraper by Teto 2023-10-06T01:34:05Z

I had a good time, but somehow failed everything in between except the first and last  The interaction with Jon was nice, kinda a feedback. His... Storyline is very fun, but it does not really fit with the sound and sooth images. Its fun tho!

Moneypit by Wouter52 2023-10-02T17:35:46Z

@zerbu Regarding the visibillity I wholey agree. I noticed when test playing it, but seems it sneaked through still  While instinct points out the middle of the screen it drowns in the rest of the style. However, there be a mechanic built in when you go down a floor and do not directly move, the builders stay still as well. Maybe knowing that helps? It does not fix the visibillity issue still tho. Thank you for the feedback!

@fupi He definetly needs therapy! Thank you for the comment! That your own drawing?

Moneypit by Wouter52 2023-10-02T17:55:02Z

@nash Thank you! When testplaying it, the worse the 'anxiety level' the louder I was- Definetly know what you mean!

The Bellhop by Matt Blake 2023-10-06T01:40:21Z

This was a quick one for me! I like the concepts, it was simple and easy to understand. I would advise to try and maybe put some sort of story in it? I personally like levels more then a 'topscore', so I know if I did well [enough]. Indeed it would be nice to have more indicators on how close you were to 'too heavy'.

MineRaider - LD54 by SoloAdventurerGames 2023-10-06T01:53:23Z

For some reason I was in the elevator, but still died twice to the lava with a good few seconds to spare. Besides that, the concept is fun and it being a quicky if you play a little. Letting you experience a lot within the first bit so all kind of players know how it goes and is. The sounds are fitting, I like the graphics. Simple yet clear. I did see in the inventory the capitals of the items were mixing with one another. Thanks for the play! mixed letters.png

Deadlinez by mickey-sanchez 2023-10-06T00:53:06Z

I like the concept of needing to gather things and upgrading the cards- which run out of space. There be though the story bit issue for me I don't see a connection with cards to working/being fired in this concept. The colorful graphics were very nice!

A Barren Land by penguindustin 2023-10-06T01:07:51Z

The clicking one you already know, I am missing the sounds as well. I enjoyed it, the length was nice. Think a game that could become pretty nice with more polishing beyond what it is. Overall adding story elements I know is a very timedraining job, you still added it tho!

LD55 — Summoning

Virtual Church of the Digital Goddess by Geckoo1337 2024-04-20T14:14:21Z

I finished it! And thanks Geckoo, I used what was in it xD I noticed level 10 was difficult, but because trial and error is allowed in this game and there being no time limit I felt 'rewarded' and motivated to play. Plus, the fact @wouter52 had been unable to get past it was fun~ Took me longer then I want to admit though, oops! I like the atmosphere a ton, its calm and all that. I just miss a bit more of context/connections between what moves you be doing and the summoning itself but that's nitpicking at a game In nearly played for 2 hours xDthx for playing.png

Virtual Church of the Digital Goddess by Geckoo1337 2024-04-21T19:55:33Z

The cookie worked (thanks to my SO I knew where to use it) @geckoo1337 and as for lvl level 14 gave me a challenge xD I dont remember the solutions, more a trial and error at times. The playback instead of the dying function helped my mental state to keep motivated. Basically, it can be finished you just need to be not aiming at playing and rating many games. Some of the things require some trial and error if predicting and spacial awareness is not your thing xD

In My Image by Big_Chalupa 2024-04-20T14:41:08Z

It took me a little to understand I had a button in front of me to press, but after that I could not help but smile at the reactions. Soon as... Say past the story bit and you get some tips, I noticed the white line from the middle downwards cuts with the text... That's white too. Its not bad, but something I noticed fairly quickly. But one can say I be nitpicking. The music and sound effects seem fitting, I like the... Constellations[?] As decorations. I struggled with the controls, would have liked a tutorial but for the time you had it can be a fun game with some extra time to polish it up!

The Mage And The Assassins by 0X_VOID_X0 2024-04-20T14:29:32Z

This is something Wouter has heard a ton from me xD See it as nitpicking, but When I see .. instead of ... And missing capitals I grumble  I liked the game a ton, a lot is happening, there have been a point I was confused like finding the portal which because of the speed and lotsa stuff happening was apparently stressing me out a ton xD The good old summoning creatures, and the humor in it 'because it must be fun' is fitting~

Parsley by Wouter52 2024-04-21T20:00:54Z

Hmm... I am now tempted to play and TRY to get the highscore. Have been playtesting it and did not get that fast  Thank you all for the feedback, not going to ping you all but the karma should be helpful for each :hugging:

the Crowd by silverash 2024-04-20T14:51:50Z

It took me a bit to get what be going on, I did find out if you die you don't automatically restart, can interact with stuff except win xD I like the graphics, the next level button is cool! Don't forget to heart comments on games, it gives those who did it 'karma' and makes their games more visible and easier to find for those who rate. Thanks for the game!

LD56 — Tiny Creatures

Tiny Rampage by LandoSystems 2024-10-10T18:44:01Z

The voiceover and such were very good, I had to understand this was a side view, not a topdown- oops. When I got the hang of it I realized better what was expected of me. There appears to not be a lose condition? Or I did not play it long enough. Eitherway, was fun to try!

Creepy Crawly Mansion by frozenfire92 2024-10-10T23:33:42Z

It took me a little, but I figured out what to do in the first two minigames. Did it on my phone as well. I like the art and sounds, just some things are unclear. When the text scrolled up at the start I panicked, thinking I had to read it before it left the screen- oops! The mood is definetly set~

Cheddalier by outstar 2024-10-10T02:44:03Z

I was streaming the game to a friend, we both had fun  The first thing I noticed was the music and the graphics, I loved it though in the menu it was a little too loud. As I went through the tutorial, the music at some point stopped, not sure if it is supposed to?

Either way, I loved going through it, the concept simple enough and the story... I was definitely chuckling.

The Befitting Heights by kr4ft3r 2024-10-10T17:22:45Z

Twine! Its fun to see someone use what I used and see what is possible.

Alright, I like how we travel in time, a story per page basically. The first time I was somewhat confused as it switched to another perspective, but soon I realized what was going on. It was all written well, and the real world places, happenings helped with imagining.

While I understand the thought to see how a story turns out showing the powerlessness of us humans I would have loved to see how the choices would affect the story. Though seeing you did this is so little hours I am definitely already flabbergasted you did as much as you did.

The music was fun, tho only played at the start and end, while I don't even know how to add music to Twine, I do wonder if it was meant to be an intro and outro, to tie it all together?

Scrubby Shrimp by Steven Garberg 2024-10-10T03:12:53Z

This reminded me a little of that dolphin game Ecco, did not like the controls [I pretty much gave up after the first round] The art is coherent, it was simple and clear which I liked. I like to be able to play on fullscreen! I think to make this game better, some sort of obstacle might have been nice in the first level that makes you wary of moving and not just spamming the spacebar, as someone mentioned the arrow keys might have been nicer and such.

Widdle Werewolves by Papabirb 2024-10-09T00:23:52Z

I enjoyed the game, the multiplying function I quickly understood. The voice acting was fun~

Yep, that little bug got fixed indeed, I played and got past that once. Mine looked like it froze, but sound continued and all the ones walking free came to me and poofed to then let me walk.

Oh, I played on my mobile! Thank you, I wanted to do feedback on my phone too.

I did notice sometimes a +1 was not picked up no matter how often I walked over it. But sometimes when I returned later they did work. What I also noticed if I want to walk alongside the edges I need to take a tiny bit of distance or the auto moving stops.

Those massive ones with the big ass numbers totally put me in the right state of mind- Eep! Need more numbers!

Tailor Arena by DeerCat 2024-10-10T19:05:54Z

The concept is simple, I sadly lost attention quick with the game when I missed ten times an attack in a row. Maybe because I am tired. Either way, the art was very nice, the sounds were fitting and this take on the theme with the options was fun to see!

Squirrel Mail by Boudichon 2024-10-10T19:30:26Z

SO was looking with me and was giggling how the squirrel moved, and I agree it looks funny yet cute. It took me a bit to figure out the game but soon as I did... Very fun puzzles, the atmosphere, design and all fit well together. I noticed my character in one of the levels slowly moving to the left as if by wind while I was figuring out how to build with the few I had.

Springtail by KeithSwanger 2024-10-10T19:15:10Z

This is surprisingly fun to do! The character is honestly cute, the obstacles are simple yet its easy to see where you need to go. The sound is calm, the sfx are fun. Its nice you did not put any limit or too active music in it, it allows one to do this at their own pace as its not easy. I likely won't finish this game while doing ratings, but maybe in the future. What I miss be an indication of how much you charge up your jump and with the ball for example a differentiating between from where you can climb and where you will fall off if you land. Everything in the distance being hazy is a good effect on one hand, its shows the dephy of the world, however my head and eyes did not like it too much for one reason or another.

Apparatus by evindor 2024-10-10T03:04:02Z

I started of confused, after a little I got it though struggled with realizing if things properly worked or not. Besides that while complex it was interesting. The art fits with the music, though with the fact you be taking down tiny creatures I expected more sounds on that part- Maybe good it didn't cause it helped me focus.

PEPE's wall of pride by Wouter52 2024-10-08T20:58:15Z

I had quite the difficulties with catching what I needed, after ten minutes however I finally got some progress which made me very happy as it let me enjoy the game as intended. Yay! :yellow_heart:

The space gravity pull and such is an interesting idea, however I would have liked if things were a bit slower so it becomes easier to control. :see_no_evil: Though I cannot imagine how difficult it is to make such system!

The sounds and art are pretty fun, my feedback point would be to draw the social media icons yourself so it is in the same style as the rest of the game- Or I just saw it not well enough. :frog: PEPE's redone-art I love, the effect when you put a wrong thing in, the screen getting red definitely made the mood for me. I do miss some background music, even if soft I think it would have made it even greater.

To get an highscrore I will have to sit down for a while, something I will do after rating more games.

Miku's Minion Madness by Miku 2024-10-10T03:53:20Z

I agree with Noah, the little ones are missing a bit of attention in my opinion. The music is fun, I myself am not too into this type of game tho the concept was cool.

The Red Beetle Squad by Vidu 2024-10-10T02:15:50Z

I love the sounds, they fitted well together and made it a coherent game together with the graphics. I struggled a bit regarding the objective, if there were wrong answers and alike. The idea is fun, choosing different types of powers so to speak was an interesting take. I thought it should be impossible to do this on your own- Seems I was right since its three of you.

Ludum Dare 56 by Mantsje 2024-10-10T18:17:09Z

*Groan!* This reminds me of the days I was trying to become a preschool teacher for the younger classes. No matter what you do they still manage to get in trouble  The moving around is flexible even though gameplay is complex for me as it goes very fast, but the art combined with the sounds are absolutely lovely if not a bit enjoying all the screaming  It is quite a lot to read, and pretty small as well. If you would have had more times I would say to put in a tutorial that takes you through it by playing. But, that is future talk.

Mimic by Lizz 2024-10-08T15:49:59Z

@shreemp thank you! I myself disliked writing the more mean ones to Minerva  Thank you for playing, as for the hidden ending... If I am correct there are at least 24 "endings" that are not a TBC, so thats absolutely no surprise. Likely, it will be up to luck if someone finds it.

Mimic by Lizz 2024-10-08T15:59:41Z

@papabirb Oh jeez, yes the meme is fitting  I had not thought it through but it is deginetly staying as it is to make at least myself laugh~

The Blueberry path is the one with the biggest quantity and a lot of connections. I honestly find it the most difficult route myself and for the life of me do not remember how to navigate that one as well as the others.

You... Found all the names?! Heavens, either you've been playing for a long while or read quick. Congratz

The time one is not exactly counted as a true ending, since it forces you- if not closing the game- to go back if I remember right. However, I get where you are coming from. After these two weeks I'll find them myself, hopefully, and will place them here with the secret ending if not found yet.

Ahum, I don't think I will need to comment on your thoughts on the secret ending  There are truly not many ways to put a secret in the simple format I use without playing with javascript.

 Thanks for playing!

As for the link, thats an oopsie. I'll leave it as it is and hopefully people realize it easily if they use it.

Mimic by Lizz 2024-10-09T02:27:00Z

@papabirb thats still a good while to do especially while rating games, I feel honoured!

Mimic by Lizz 2024-10-09T07:37:54Z

@jonathan-vinesar yeah the link for the music has a space in it  I left it be for now, sorry for the inconvenience! As for graphics, I craved making them after so much writing but sadly I have yet to learn how to add anything other then text- the colors made me grumble already. :see_no_evil:  Graphics be the next step for a next time, assuming I be doing it without help again.

Thank you for playing!

Mimic by Lizz 2024-10-09T07:40:11Z

@pachino55 nice~ Happy to hear. What of the story stuck the most with you?

Mimic by Lizz 2024-10-10T17:48:44Z

@oliver-day thank you for playing, in hindsight I have ideas for art that would not screw with the 'missing something' and now know art can be actually added to Twine. No clue how yet but definitely going to be part of the learning process, it definitely would add some fun for more kinds of players [and me, less writing, more different things]. Regarding the gap it is something I realized during the bit of time I used to learn to use the basic of the basics of the program, but totally forgot to fix during the Jam

Mimic by Lizz 2024-10-10T17:50:04Z

I am guessing the TBC options are less attractive, but seeing with which end you ended up you went the way with the least TBC's @martingonn  Thank you for playing!

Mimic by Lizz 2024-10-10T17:51:51Z

Patience is virtue- but I definitely had times I just wanted to scream with all the typing @pete-valeo  Next time I will add the ambiance link to the game if I cannot figure out how to put sounds in by then at my own tempo. Thanks for playing~

Mimic by Lizz 2024-10-10T17:58:19Z

@sviborg hiya, thank you for the impressive positive feedback. However, could you tell me if you chose the grape, kiwi, apple or mango path? I am very curious which path made you so positive

Mimic by Lizz 2024-10-10T18:00:46Z

@futaibu thanks! And yeah, besides making the game and story better with adding art- which I learned is possible but not how to yet- I also would fix the hell it was to write hours over hours. Would make the story shorter likely, but would also increase the amount of players that would feel attracted to try and stick around a bit longer. Even if it be janky art  Thank you for playing

Mimic by Lizz 2024-10-10T18:02:35Z

@wouter52 Hiya sweetie  Thanks for playing. The line breaks would certainly help, or any differentiating in colors. Either way I had realized the issue before the jam with my trial run but forgot to do something about it, oops

Birbs Chat by SpaghettiCupcake 2024-10-10T03:46:08Z

I wanted to check it out, give me a ping when you put it back online!

Inside Creatures Out: What is your gaming MBTI? by CatZP 2024-10-10T03:43:44Z

First off, I love the art a ton! The questions in between kept me entertained, I did struggle to figure out the start to then be OverPowered  This is what I ended up with, though I am not exactly extrovert, more liking to keep some control and love to cooperate effectively yet without affecting what others like to do in the game.

fungame.png

Maze Bat by oliver_day 2024-10-10T18:34:43Z

A simple yet easy to get game without big instructions. This is what my mind needed. The art is coherent if that is the word [the smiley face is fun, it made me laugh a little], the music is calm and it feels not hurried. Though I do miss a growing complexity in the game to keep me from zoning out, but it also is the charm of the game! As for the humour rating question, I rate it when it is not disabled.

The Great Dangling by magopian 2024-10-10T17:30:41Z

That was interesting to play, the sound effects were nice like the bright and clear art. What I do wonder is the reason to 'spoil' the answer so to speak in game with the squares. I had some struggle when the thing became long and the next was quite high in the screen. Adding the 'kill' was a good choice, it makes it more complete.

The Great Dangling by magopian 2024-10-10T17:32:33Z

As a side note, the game version here on the website, not your itch, gives this: "Failed to read the 'serviceWorker' property from 'Navigator': Service worker is disabled because the context is sandboxed and lacks the 'allow-same-origin' flag."

don`t get caught by flojiq 2024-10-10T18:51:13Z

I absolutely adore the art! The jumpscares are real  Are they randomized or put on certain spots in the game? Soon as it comes in view I am already too late- Eep. The theme to add a lill fairy is very cute, and a big contrast with the atmosphere of the game. Mood was very well done.

LD57 — Depths

Shinjuku-eki by Solis 2025-04-11T16:14:14Z

At first I was wandering around confused and worried as the ambiance really made me nervous, to then get teleported back to the seat as the train its speed seemed to have increased. Still unsure what to do, I just wandered around to then at a point get the next increase. For me it feels more like an experience then a game but certainly got the mood right and a lot of promise. If there was more time, checking more cabins with maybe notes about life or something would be my idea but in 72 hours there is only so much you can do. :hugging:

Kind of deep waters by 7uc4s 2025-04-11T16:25:57Z

From the start I understood the assignment and how to move the submarine as its pretty basic controls. Which made it fun as I could directly just play. The graphics I like, its clear and fun. The sound is calm, and- "Oh is that a mine?" BOOM! "Yeah... That was a mine." You learn as you go  I was wondering what I would use the money for to then get at the end that pop up of upgrades, which made me really excited in wanting to continue playing for a long while. The one feedback I have is that I thought going up to the surface would refill my oxygen at first which had me waste some movement as I thought it was logical. While the theme was well done, it was not the newest way of doing so which... Is rather difficult to do anyways I believe. Anyhow, thanks for the fun game!

LD58 — Collector

PhishScape by Jezzamon 2025-10-08T19:53:50Z

The fact this works at times in the real world is saddening :no_mouth: Got a password, got a password via being a mod and got a password via the fake cloak. Did forget at the start pressing a character that aint a monster will let you talk, not fight. I am really missing sound effects in this game, but the intent is a fun concept. Does remind me of the old games... And now I feel old  The game currently seems to be just a tutorial kind, it would be interesting to see when the difficulty scales and you get more puzzles to solve.

Cut to Pieces by Sheepolution 2025-10-08T20:06:05Z

Lovely! I really enjoyed this one, from graphics to sound to mechanics. I had fun, just was a bit bummed at having added at the Food one those separate grapes which ended up not fitting and being too detailed thought out of me  Loved the game, to me its original.

Shape Collector by rhewid 2025-10-07T00:20:54Z

I played it just for some quick fun while lazing around with my phone. I am definitely not good at this  The triangles were difficult to hit. It took me a little to understand I can hunt all forms and colours. The rogue like element is lovely! It fits the theme collectors, simple but works well. I can't help but like the rainbow highscore words a lot.

A Very Sneaky Thief by telo.philippe 2025-10-08T19:02:11Z

I definetly didn't end up trying to just read the text and forgetting my goal... *Yup, I defo didnt.* I did struggle to notice how to avoid suspicion soon as I attempted stealing. Noticed the levels are random, became a lot easier when I realized I had the more difficult ones far as I could tell. So had strategy as well. The red on pink background was somewhat difficult to read, it certainly fits the theme!

Harold Babysits by Kobato Games 2025-10-08T19:34:39Z

I read the bottom on the itch page and got through the game easily. I smiled a lot, the humor fitted nicely. It was a collect the kids/items kind of game and definitely reminded me of the fact that looking one second away- and they are gone  The thing that made the game original for me is the story you used, the game mechanics [and then we assume the finished version] were for me standard. I think it would have gotten more its own character with its own art but tbf its a shooort amount of time you have, especially with real life and alike getting inbetween.

LD59 — Signal

Battle Signals: Echoes of the Very Big Horn by evgenii-petrov 2026-04-21T01:08:15Z

First game I played! 'When I feel ready, give the signal'- But they are already coming for me  I like the style of art, the colours fit well together. Giving the signal to fight, defend and being too late to give the signal gave it a fun twist. Strategy could become more important if there was a cost to place the guys and not just press as many as you can of all whenever you can. The sound was nice and clear, befitting the game itself.

Average League by N.O.X 2026-04-21T22:20:36Z

That is an interesting one! Took me a few tries to get a grip on things, the timer freaking me ooouuuut!

Round-a-doodle-doo by Fupi 2026-04-21T22:55:35Z

02:10 was the first one, I had loads of fun, laughing on the cuteness, signals given via sound and screen. Overall a well polished entry. Would have loved a highscore menu but this was a compooo! So cool

Round-a-doodle-doo by Fupi 2026-04-22T01:18:07Z

@fupi for me, I think its a skill issue. I keep making them more angry and struggle lessening it xD an option could be to add a wave like pattern so there is time to recover for the nex wave (more goibg on or a longer wave).

Round-a-doodle-doo by Fupi 2026-04-22T01:19:20Z

Oh! And I was not clicking the crime chicks!!

Round-a-doodle-doo by Fupi 2026-04-22T15:52:43Z

I at the time had not read the instructions but did notice the crime chicks- assumed they are more points! F*ck around find out method it was  So, is my bad for not doing so. However now I know and tried it was a very important element- it makes the game way more fun! @fupi

Call Inc. by Astoeth 2026-04-21T01:11:45Z

Hiya, your embedded game does not get started past the Unity loading screen!

Call Inc. by Astoeth 2026-04-21T20:38:21Z

I like the system, did not realize the costs of things or figure out how my income goes better. With some trial and error I realized I was forgetting to zoom out: oops! That was my mistake, over 500 unhappy customers when I stopped. The art is calm, I would like some phone noises besides what is already mentioned so you can hear maybe where the connections are getting blocked. Liked to play it, was not overwhelming like other games. A side note, the tutorial text went off my screen.

TranscendAnts by JudJudson 2026-04-21T02:38:56Z

Oh! I was just not seeing the ants, now I feel a bit like a dummy. Quite a big group worked on this? It certainly fits in the theme, I have not finished the game as it was kinda difficult to keep track of the ants and the relation with the resources. Do wants to see if anyone manages to make that rocket

Love Caps by Wouter52 2026-04-21T01:23:13Z

Well, seeing as I was the test person I have somewhat an advantage regarding understanding the game. But man, it is a signal overload with everything on the screen! I love how it is peaceful and dark when you 'check' the signal, the little hearts make it very cute. It is a short game, the music stopping... I know you are supposed to hear white noise but I do not hear something that soft while trying to run fast. Having both done shrooms... I enjoy seeing both our versions.

On Ivy Boulevard by python-b5 2026-04-21T02:20:25Z

When I finished the game I started to understand it better. The art is nice and consistent and the sound makes me think of the old games in which you investigate. Managed to get one evidence right but 3 escaped  I did like the ongoing story!

Shroomice by Lizz 2026-04-21T01:57:00Z

One take, and then I muted the sounds for myself for playtesting as it made me blush so much whenever I heard myself  Thank you, @pocketdog

@tinker1175 Yeah, there are still many things to adjust, rewrite and alike. Sadly my friend who would be assisting me with it- as I am not the best in English- did not get very far for her own reasons. Thank you for playing!

Could you be more specific what you found cute exactly @nidoprince ? You as well, thanks for playing~

Shroomice by Lizz 2026-04-21T22:48:32Z

Lotsa reactions! Alright lets go by those I read. First, thank you all for playing, taking the time to give feedback be it to give me a boost in confidence or skill... Or both!

@pastmoments I am happy it started off strong, since I myself was cringing everytime opening it up

@foxecho you put in words what I was thinking around the end, the balance of the passages was somewhat wacky in the amount of text. It is certainly a point I want to keep in mind next time.

Lotsaaa audio comments, thanks for the boost :fireworks: @ii-p @5n4k3 @hefei-s @pavlo @drainkid @peterlebagarreur @evgenii-petrov

@nidoprince @zakchaos @eugenik Happy the schooms were so liked :blue_heart: I had a lot of fun making them, a bit sticker like so it felt like a story put together. It also makes it easier to talk about a bit heavier subjects as I could use terms like cap, stalk and alike.

Shroomice by Lizz 2026-04-22T19:38:28Z

@shanzpro Indeed!I did forget to add it in the description

@darkshadow Eh. Well... Not translated, more my writing skills in english (time pressure not helping). Thank you for taking the time wrestling through some of it, english is not ky native language

Thank you! @500

Shroomice by Lizz 2026-04-23T20:36:02Z

Thankss for playing! As if I am not flushing enough, I fo like the style I found this LD as my own.

What I am missing is knowledge on what routes everyone yook. If able, did you choose to give a stern warning or have the kid bring it back himself? @luka420 @hoarime @flowerfield-games

Shroomice by Lizz 2026-05-03T19:26:43Z

@smugsman What I once read, is that when one makes art and like a certain style that they should completely drown themselves in it and make it part of them. Reason being? There will always be people who don't really like it  Thank you for your positive feedback, it was a worry of mine text is not always... Liked so to say.

@fupi Hi there! Thanks for the feedback, there are after the kid with the... Lets say balls for fun I think 18 different paths with after that those going elsewhere or melting with other paths. The notes were pretty much my 'when done continue here' things, making the game in sprints as I want choices over a singular storyline. The grammar is something to work on, defo.

Oh my oh my, a latecomer~ Hi @wouter52 , Seeing the text on the computerscreen and on the phone after uploading now... The very white text was my last minute change. I will keep readabillity in mind next time

Cyber Resonator (Spicy Hot Chocolate 5) by Kartoffel Licht 2026-05-03T19:19:28Z

Hiya, lets see.... I found some of the background objects difficult. How? Because I had to test everything if I could go through it because it looked dangerous. Another tip I have is to include a tutorial. Reason being, most people do not read the text that is not in the fullscreen game. I like the smooth atmosphere and nice twinkle in the back. The big one gave me nearly an heartattack!

Dicebound by Derly 2026-04-21T04:53:12Z

I could play it on phone! Enjoyed the visuals and using the periodic table if I understand right. The mechanics are not the newest but why reinvent the wheel anyway? I do miss some humor, it feels nice streamlined.

The Red Watcher by FoxEcho 2026-04-21T02:59:22Z

I played a little while, but from what I have seen: I love the intro, was poetic in a way which pulled me into the game. At first I thought I had to clock everything to get them to dissapear but soon enough I figured it out. Since I have not played the full 10 minutes I do not know regarding the humor, but it is a nice game!

m01d by gujiufeng 2026-04-21T20:59:05Z

Oh my that is a unique game, I certainly did not understand how to play but after reading some it sounded like a fun thing to do. The graphics are simple yet you combine computer like elekments with the 'children' well, and the game over screen combined with the sound is a classic loss of signal, reminded me of the tv screen when it had issues.

Treaty by Nidoprince 2026-04-21T02:46:44Z

I think I get the concept, but I was really lost on what was happening and I was supposed to be doing for quite a while. It is a simple design and I am curious to see how deep this can go. Definitely fits the theme!

GIMME TV by pocketdog 2026-04-21T02:25:15Z

Simple but effective! You start with a nice intro, the controls are simple and defending a tv signal like that with the fun and clear graphics was lotsa fun to do. Defending the signal instead of receiving it. I agree with the comment mentioning how the shooting felts good, it was really smooth as well. The system is easy to get as it is a more used thing [like upgrades and alike].

Resonance Protocol by PudinKiller 2026-04-21T01:15:14Z

Hiya, just a quick tip. People usually don't download games, in particular if its one's first few games. So if you can manage, try to get it in HTML/embedded! Saying this as I can see you made a good start with rating. Good luck!

I MUST SCREAM by II-P 2026-04-21T02:27:21Z

Is good I went to check. I got an error trying to play the embedded game, go check it out!

"Uh oh! If you're seeing this error, it means I can't find your index.html file.

This usually means you created your .zip file by zipping the entire folder, and index.html is somewhere like MyGame/index.html. If you recreate your .zip with index.html file in the root, this error should go away.

See the embedding guide for more details. ludumdare.com/resources/guides/embedding/

I MUST SCREAM by II-P 2026-04-21T20:24:32Z

Heeeeey I have played it now~ Oh love the professor art and the concept, did struggle with the pressing the right buttons but that can be also a skill issue  I love how the music when retrying flows over, its a fun entry I am happy to have kept an eye on.

RADAR LINE_ by saloid 2026-04-21T01:48:20Z

The style is very fitting the gameplay, I did struggle in understanding what I was doing but got the gist of it after trying out some. Did not finish the game seeing as my brain is fried but definitely understand the theme in it! Radars are a common thing with the theme, but to me it looks like you all took it a bit further to not only identify but do something about it. A clear win/lose condition is stated which gives the player structure. The comments that were made during the 'play' phase if that is a correct term made me more drawn to it and want to put more effort in. I struggled with the quality and clearity of the text in the game itself graphics wise. Did neither understand what everything did so might have put too much money in signal towers  I do agree on the repeated missiles comment above per group though it felt more realistic in this way. So it is deciding what feels better.

Red Light Green Light With Teeth by PastMoments 2026-04-21T02:53:06Z

Oh my I do have to ruuuun! Well that was a short but really nice game. Seeing that thing come closer the first time had me jump, especially with the soft yet very clear sound of it being a beast. I was somewhat confused at the first maze like thingy, trying to jump inbetween, later realized there was a wall of sorts stopping me from doing so. Nicely done!

Small Among Storms by ShanzPro 2026-04-21T02:08:11Z

Listen for danger! Oh I love that, it feels relaxing yet I am on edge. The graphics are clear and I suck at platforming  For me it was a little difficult, and the text was a bit small to read when I was not fully focused. Did not get far but got a good view of the intent and mechanics. The natural vibe was cool and art eyepleasing.

Remixed Signals by Naviski 2026-04-21T01:34:33Z

Oh man, a music game!! I sucked at it  Alright, so I am absolutely in love with the style. The music was fun, the concept is amazing. When I understood what was expected of me with the buttons I had a blast on easy mode. I felt like a happy toddler trying to play a music game because of the style, it kept my attention. The song was not too short and neither too long so I could try some and then play a round focused... ish. Lovely! score1.png
