Really liked this game! Super unique, strange to play, fun to learn. Simple rules that make for a tricky experience. Big fan!

This one was incredible! The sound, graphics, UI overall was so polished, it felt great to play the game even when I didn't know what was happening. In terms of feedback, I didn't have a clear understanding of the goal of the game. I assume it was to fill the screen or maybe survive the longest, but somehow communicating that would have been nice. Great work!

The game is a bit confusing to me. Why does my center mushroom keep dying? The rest was clear-ish and pretty cool. Graphics were fitting.

A fun experience! I'm not sure how to get better at the game, but it's very unique and the graphics are great. Nice job!

gujiufeng 2026-04-21 04:31

@lemma it's probably because your center mushroom is exposed. The mushroom on the edge, or exposed to outside, will get hungry. If you don't feed them on time, they will die. Wish this explanation will help you to enjoy the game ~

FUN GAME TOTALLY , BUT CONFUSE ANYWAY

hikiyoshi 2026-04-21 14:04

This was great game! The sound and graphics were amazing. It took me a while to learn how to use the signal. I just spammed the spawn signal to win the game.

anku 2026-04-21 20:13

A truly unique experience. At first, I honestly had no idea what was going on, but I decided to give it a proper chance and dig into it - and I’m really glad I did.

ne-aquilon 2026-04-21 20:17

Conceptually one of the most unique games. Super confusing, 0/1 controls are not good, but still a good entry.

lizz 2026-04-21 20:59

Oh my that is a unique game, I certainly did not understand how to play but after reading some it sounded like a fun thing to do. The graphics are simple yet you combine computer like elekments with the 'children' well, and the game over screen combined with the sound is a classic loss of signal, reminded me of the tv screen when it had issues.

2026-04-21 22:01

@ne-aquilon Thank you for the feedback! Better player guidance is definitely something we're looking into. The 0/1 control style is intentional tho, as it's a part of the experience we're going for!

2026-04-21 22:10

@lizz Thank you! That is exactly the vibe we were going for, glad it worked well! Hope you get to try it properly sometime^ ^

wow cool. stylish

sarah 2026-04-22 01:17

I love the music and sounds! It's a cute idea, confusing at first on how to actually survive and not just die off though, but it's fun enough once you figure things out (:

samantha-gao 2026-04-22 04:47

Such an awesome game (I love the creative title)! I enjoyed the minimalist design and the overall concept and mechanism are really smart! Pushed me to think strategically about my moves

hammerfrenzy 2026-04-22 05:09

Definitely unique, definitely very difficult!

2026-04-22 05:22

Very cool concept and I love the look and feel of it. Difficult to memorize all the patterns though, but I'm smooth brained.

dylan-shumway 2026-04-24 03:06

Probably one of my favorites of the jam! Such a unique take on the theme and the core mechanic of actually sending the signals is both challenging and rewarding. The minimal visuals also make it easy to digest what's happening and the audio is a bop! Very well done! :confetti_ball:

pixel-studios 2026-04-25 05:26

Interesting use of the theme, I like it. Graphics are nice, gameplay is well done (although I got very panicky trying to get them all to survive). Great job!

unreststudio 2026-04-28 15:41

Feelsl just like the games you played on your phone as a kid, really nice !

thoastbot 2026-04-28 16:23

Really unique game, was hard getting into and just randomly spamming codes doesn't get you far - after ive seen the cheat-sheet it was better to understand, still a bit wonky but a nice take on the theme!

qmdev 2026-05-01 18:01

How to play is clear, but it’s a bit difficult to quickly do what you want and in the right direction

hollowsedge 2026-05-05 02:49

This is a very unique game and quite difficult. It was fun trying to remember all of the commands and execute them quick to stay alive. I think it might be a bit hard to get going as the middle mushroom dies quickly if you don't get a bigger border fast. I did finish the game but only used the grow commands since I could grow faster than the mushrooms died and feeding them felt like I was wasting time that I could be growing. It kind of reminded me of Atari graphics, which was cool.

guitarbro 2026-05-05 23:23

This is a very interesting game concept. I like the minimalism from the graphics/audio standpoint, but my brain has a hard time with the minimalism of the controls. I get what you're going for with it being a binary signal, but I kinda wish at least the direction was still input via the arrow keys and it only appended the correct zeros and ones to the final signal code based on which arrow key was pressed. It's just really hard to map the desired direction to the buttons I need to push to accomplish it. It might also help to extend the time before the mold dies at the beginning and only speed it up later on once you've got the controls down better. Regardless, it's definitely a unique experience!

gujiufeng 2026-05-08 11:06

@hollowsedge Glad to hear that you have finished the game! The mushroom has to be full to grow and it's the reason why feeding commands are needed, and you have accomplished the game with only grow commands, you must be extremely professional at this game!
