Music and pixel art is beautiful. crows are a nice touch. with the menu and options its feels quite polished! bravo!
Liked the idea of hiding from customers :D
Never played text games before so I was bit lost at start. Will try to finish when I get the time for it! seems like a cool title and heard of Inform the first time and its very interesting. never programmed in a natural-lang-processing thingy before! syntax felt similar to Prolog tho.
Anyhow, well done!
visuals and audio quite appealing! initially thought there wasn`t much gameplay however smell ability changed that! good job.
This is really impressing. I loved the artworks and the concept is very unique as well. Its amazing you managed to do all these in such a short time! Also, thanks to you, now I know what Aphantasia is! It all makes sense now. (A-phantasia -> not being able to fantasize?)
Waooow! this one is really good man well done. i loved the concept and the execution also seems quite nice. Graphics could be improved tho, I'd go with a more vibrant color for the bg...
One question: how did you check the validity of a given word? (for ex, haox don`t get accepted but hoax does, as expected) Did you use some kind of dictionary to include real words?
overall, super cool playable mini game, good job!
I played it more than I`d expect! quite fun and addicting game play. having worker AI is pretty cool and the pixel art is beautiful!
I really enjoyed the game! Graphics are amazing, building, shooting, menu(even a tutorial?), everything really, feels polished and well-done. One issue i ran into: around 2:20 there were LOTS of enemies and the browser almost freezed with all the guns&explosions going on. You might consider optimizing a bit! (ofc not expecting optimized game in 48hrs :D this is only if you want to move on with this)
Bravo!
this was funn, movement was a bit draggy but i guess its intended to make it last longer. Really nice audio & visuals and a novel idea! what else could we ask for...
loool this was really hilarious!! очень хорошо!
really nice black&white visuals. FX are impressive. idea of revealing the map is well done! When I jumped and collided with the green box at top, in the scene with keypad and 6,8 and digits, character disappeared and nothing happened? im assuming this is not the expected behaviour.
good job!
music magnificent as usual, yaman efe <3
hocamlar, that model is scary AF.
Thanks for taking time to play!
I absolutely agree about the lack of audio/visuals and hope to make a complete game next time!
Yup, definitely. I had scrambled 3 pages of traits & actions & possible relations between them in paper but did not have time to really implement even half of it. I`d do it as Jam and properly wrap-up buut i'm working today so :(
Thx for the comment(s) Gaz
Thanks for all the comments! really appreciate the feedback. @corrade you are right, the layout is suboptimal, I really should have used an "advancable" multi-line dialogue style to represent the text. But I barely caught the submission time (only 12mins before the end of submission hour), better manage the time effectively next time... @berkin Im glad you had fun! Idea was to have LOTS of replayability with emerging/disappearing choices like a tree of life branching, I'm still considering spending more time on this with time visuals as well tho.
@frank-gevaerts Thnak you for pointing that out, in its current state, I agree! Allow me to explain the reasoning behind it: Every turn meant to simulate a year and the option chosen would mean you focused on that act that year. Initially, to lose friends you had to study %80 of the time in your YoungAdult years which I would argue is quite possible outcome ;D however because I had no time to balance the traits/stats accumulated, had to take a shortcut and show it when you chose study more than once in that period.
@kristinamay Glad you enjoyed, tho I must say my entry feels SOOO unfinished and generic compared to what you've pulled off!
Started out slow and generic but turned into action packed shooter. I especially liked the changing of music and the visuals of the ships. Controls were also nice, and random upgrades are a good addition.
Maybe its me but, I think fire rate buff doesn't work? I have acquired over 5 of them, but my fire rate never did feel faster. It actually felt slower. Other than this, maybe UI could use a touch. It was hard to notice earning new upgrades and keeping track of health.
overall, great job!
I must say I had so much more fun than I had expected! The premise and the conversation is fun to follow, minigames are diverse and do not take too long, art style is captivating and unique.
Audio (typing sfx) gets somewhat disturbing after a while, but its good quality.Splash screen SFX is a bit too loud for my taste.
Overall, really cool entry. Congratz!
Thank you for all the kind words & feedback! Glad to hear you are enjoying our little game
An interesting way to implement movement puzzles. Took me some time to get used to it. Level design look cool, finding the shortest way around the obstacles was fun. Camera shake(?) could have implemented better, it is somewhat disturbing, for me at least. Text was hard to read at most places, some simpler font might have been used.
Nice work :)
Fun, clear and relaxing. Loved the achievements detail. Mug face is funny to look at :) the way level changes via mug flying is a good touch. Rope mechanic is cool. great entry!
controls were weird, found the settings a bit later. Liked the hat though.
Interesting take on the theme. Game is super polished and just feels good to play. The way the dealer talks to us time to time really adds to the immersion the scene & music creates. Both soothing and challenging gameplay. Congratz :)
Good work! I enjoyed running around in haste and doing different tasks. The screw mechanic is especially satisfying. Theme and mood are particularly well done.
I have felt like I was indeed delaying the inevitable destruction of the ship i'm in. I also felt desperate thanks to the music and deep space atmosphere.
I'm impressed with the shadow mechanic and map editor. Quite a feat to pull those off in 3 days, great job!
Game looks and feels satisfying and its fun to play. Controls are good, level designs are nice. I'm not a big fan of the sounds but overall really good.
