Very original! Like the artstyle and the idea of a rogue part of the computer.

grimpuppet 2022-04-04 19:22

Really fun! You basically coded a bunch of games into one game, really great stuff. Love the rogue.

0x-void-x0 2022-04-04 19:54

love the idea of making a game out of multiple games! cool idea as well, good work

mira 2022-04-04 20:20

@waysneighborgo2 @grimpuppet @0x-void-x0 Thank you for rating.

@0x-void-x0 @grimpuppet We originally wanted to create 8 minigames, but in the end we preferred to keep our sanity

0x-void-x0 2022-04-04 20:21

@mira yeah no kidding lol, if you did 8 minigames you would've been gone by now. I think the game is fun as it is and you guys should give yourselves a pat on the back (or give it to each other, it's easier that way I think)

ilikescifi 2022-04-04 20:48

Neat idea! Always like a multi game ... ahm game :)

mira 2022-04-04 20:59

@ilikescifi Thank you for rating. Btw i like scifi too :space_invader:

pke1029 2022-04-04 21:42

Would you consider to make a linux or web build? I would love to try out your game.

mortalfosca 2022-04-04 22:26

I must say I had so much more fun than I had expected! The premise and the conversation is fun to follow, minigames are diverse and do not take too long, art style is captivating and unique.

Audio (typing sfx) gets somewhat disturbing after a while, but its good quality.Splash screen SFX is a bit too loud for my taste.

Overall, really cool entry. Congratz!

fromage 2022-04-04 23:11

THink this fit the theme very well, especially with the shut down at the end, noticed a typo, Bet you never played "game like this" or something to that effect right before the flappy bird part (unfortunately it was true and I died immediately, heh)

mira 2022-04-05 08:18

@pke1029 It's already in the webGL version. I'll do anything for you

pke1029 2022-04-05 09:22

I love the mini game style you are going for in this game. My suggestion would be to make the game more fast-paced such as those found in WarioWare, I think it can give the game a sense of urgency and keep the player on their toes. Does the letters in the snake mini game has any significance? Otherwise, I think it is a fun game.

mira 2022-04-05 09:28

@pke1029 Thank you for rating. The letters have no meaning, just food for the :snake:

arend-hintze 2022-04-05 11:50

surprisingly entertaining, I wish the dialogs could be cut shorter with a an earlier click Cheers Arend

mascoll 2022-04-05 12:55

Cool game! I like the Win95 graphics! Nice warioware type feel with some real classic games!! Might be nice if you could skip the intro "video" after the first time you die so you can get back inteo the action!

tomatoomelet 2022-04-05 15:12

Noice game, there are so many different mini games in the game which keeps me interested. In the :snake: game since the food has letter on it at first I thought I need to press that button, but I figured it out later. Very great job, congratulations for finishing it!

jzucc12 2022-04-05 16:02

Fun game. The mini games were cool. I wound up losing my cat photos :(

kromeboy 2022-04-05 16:04

Nice collection of minigames. The "true end" is the countdown?

mira 2022-04-05 17:48

@kromeboy Thank you for rating. Yes, the countdown is over and the game should shut down (does not work in webgl). We thought a lot about the end and finally chose this variant due to the running out of time. Having 1 more day, we would definitely come up with a better ending

nardandas 2022-04-05 20:29

@mira I came here to ask the same question about the countdown. It felt like it should've killed the program, it's too bad you can't do that in WebGL the same! The minigames were well done and the dialogue was entertaining, enjoyed it!

flawed-gamer 2022-04-05 20:30

I remember playing those games as a kid. Good job in implementing them into your game and in so little time.

misterjbro 2022-04-05 20:33

Humorous story and nice mini-games! I found the user interface very appealing. However, I was surprised by the ending in the WebGL version, since the game stopped. I waited some time because I thought that maybe something still had to load in the background. I would advise some sort of end screen.

xcarl 2022-04-05 20:42

Cool game. I liked all the minigames!

mira 2022-04-05 20:43

@nardandas @misterjbro Yes it's a pity that the webGL version doesn't work as it should :slight_frown: the right feeling from the end of the game only occurs in the Windows version. But it would be a shame to lose players on other platforms, so it's a sacrifice. Thank you for rating and finishing the game until the end.

nardandas 2022-04-05 20:48

@mira I recommend putting a little (Recommended) thing on the Windows downloadable version. I try and respect those when I play. Otherwise I usually just use webgl as it's easier

mira 2022-04-05 20:53

@nardandas good idea, i already added it there, thank you

chicomcastro 2022-04-06 01:30

Nice entry! You keep it simple, but made it funny. I liked the dialogs and always stopped to think about how to implement each minigame, haha, they're so classical! Great work!

bottled-up-dark-peace 2022-04-06 08:38

I recorded myself playing, message me on the Jam’s discord @ Dark Peace and I’ll send it to you. It was pretty fun but I think I had a bug at the end, it just made me lose instantly.

Also "virus loading" sould be outside the textbox so it's not mistaken with the name of who is speaking. And the games shouldn't start while someone is talking.

ayosetrujillo 2022-04-06 10:05

Multi mini games with cool narrative. The graphics looks really great but It seems there is a small art variation, the bird design seems little different than the main art. Just take into account to keep a solid aesthetic.

Good job!!

algebruh 2022-04-06 12:44

Nice compilation of well-known games

mira 2022-04-06 13:14

@ayosetrujillo yes it's true, it was the graphic artist's first day in her career, so I'm personally glad we have some graphics at all

pkzinpo 2022-04-06 15:14

Very fun! I liked the overall concept and how it is multiple mini-games compiled into one game. The dialogue was humorous and enjoyable and the gameplay was simple and classic! The only nitpick I would have would be that the bird in the flappy birds mini-game was a much higher resolution pixel art compared to everything else, but other than that, very nice job!

graphite 2022-04-06 16:51

Very impressive programing all the different minigames! Nice art too.

rickylee 2022-04-07 14:36

Awesome! so funny and the dialogue/animations of the circuitry was so smooth! I loved the wire signals firing across the LCD screen :D Great submission!

100th-coin 2022-04-07 21:41

I love the dialogue, and the minigames are fun! I love how when the computer "talks" the traces on the board light up. Also the little dots sliding along the traces are really nice! All around a pretty solid bundle of minigames. Great job!

chingle 2022-04-08 08:41

Nice entry, I really like the banter between the red guy and the green guy! Makes it more fun and enjoyable!

ehon 2022-04-16 14:18

Really cool game and polished artstyle! I like the mini-games idea and your take on the theme is unique as well. Great work!

themadpangolin 2022-04-16 19:14

An interesting concept that fits the theme well! The presentation overall was very well done although the art style is inconsistent at points (particularly the Flappy Bird minigame). Great entry ^-^
