I played it more than I`d expect! quite fun and addicting game play. having worker AI is pretty cool and the pixel art is beautiful!

Fun little game, perfect mood for this time of year :smile: . UI could be improved a little bit, but the graphics are nicely done and I had fun playing.

I like the slightly surreal premise. The workers won't handle the seeds, but who could complain when they only cost 2.5 barbed wires? Solid entry!
This is one of the best games i have played in LD! It is so fun and addictive to see your workers taking the pumpkins! Maybe better sound effects and work in more items, but it is really cool for your first Ludum Dare, congrats! :heart:
It took me a second to figure it out, but once I got going, my time disappeared! My only problems were that there was one soil square on the top row that couldn't be planted for some reason, and that it became a little too crazy to keep up my seed planting with my workers harvesting. Reminiscent of Plants vs Zombies, but where I have more control of what's going on. Very fun!
It's amazing how effective this game was at keeping my attention.
I did notice a bug where 'using' the bottom left corner of the screen triggered the shop page. Also, the game is extremely easy and you have to really try to fail at it. After getting bored, I let the weeds at the bug pumpkin and it still took three in-game days for them to take it down.
It needs a win condition. I lasted about 10 days, then got bored.
Also, the control layout kind of takes me out of a "flow" while planting and harvesting. Maybe if harvesting were automatic when walking over and using planted, it'd flow better.
Otherwise, a solid entry.
