Very very very nice game! Cool ide, cool music, cool graphics! The whole concept really fits the theme! I think these is some balancing issue, because if you spam the 10 cost turrets at the edge of the screen, enemies have nochance to getting on the screen at all :D Otherwise it became very laggy around score 2000 on my pc. Nevertheless it is the best game I tried so far in this LD. Nice job! 10.png
Very nice game, it may become a bit easy with too many turrets, I'm currently in an auto-winning position where my 50+ turrets are taking care of everything before they appear on screen and I'm behind safe with my iron generators x) Nice art, great music, much enjoyable :p
Well done! forcing some risk by making metal only picked up when getting close was a good call.
Absolutely fantastic. Art is top-tier, mechanically very sound. Love the crunchy sound effects. Upgrade loop on the defences is quite nice, but you can get OP far too fast!

Wow, that's amazing. A bit to easy and have some rough edges. But I'm rally impressed. Would love to play it again when it's futher developed.
A well-finished game that combines shooting and combat with tower defense, the 10-second switching pace may be a bit too fast, but it fits the theme and can be a very ENJOYABLE game to play.
Such a great game, construction and wave of ennemies I could play all day hahah Good job ;)

Fantastic, the only crit I could offer: -Getting iron manually stays very risky throughout. Some sort of magnet or method for healing would have been neat. -The "Score" seems a little redundant, as it ticks up but not in seconds. A "survival time" or getting points for iron collection might make it more enticing. -Game becomes extremely easy as nothing can challenge a relatively early turret wall in to devastators, despite the wide variety of enemies. Something with turret resistance I have to manually hit, for example.

Looks great, fun to play, satisfying movement. The only major con is that graphics is sometimes illegible.
Extremely cool game. the simplistic pixel art graphics look very nice, the screenshake and animations feel really good, when combined with the gameplay the game feels very hectic. The sound is also rather well made and it adds to the overall feel of the game.
The gameplay itself is fun, i'd say the biggest issue might be balance, as the game is a bit too easy, thanks to the iron generators and the -20% discount buff it becomes really easy to get a basically infinite amount of iron and from there its just a matter of spamming miniguns and destructors. Besides that, the game feels polished and fun to play.

Very fun game and the art style is amazing. It's impressive how much content you have in there, with so many beautiful sprites and animations.
Difficulty curve could be reworked (a bit hard at first and becomes very easy with a few turrets and generators), but that's absolutely normal for a jam game!

Really interesting scene setting with some intense gameplay! The mobs were really cute/fascinating to look at and my only regret is I wish I could look at them more fully without... having them trying to kill me. Well done! :D

It's fun, it works well, the gameplay is super polished, the animations are perfect, the music fits the game, and it's beautiful.
I guess the only thing I can say is that since you choose a super restrictive (and coherent palette) the game is quite difficult to read. Everything has the same colors: the character, ennemies, upgrades. I had a hard time remembering wich upgrades does what because it's quite hard to differentiate them.

This is a very stylish and fun game! Really good work on this.
I love the art style and the limited palette. The animations are really fluid too. The gameplay is smooth and feels satisfying. There's a very nice "whomp" feeling when hitting enemies.
The game gets chaotic fairly quickly. After not terribly long, there are so many enemies, so many explosions and effects, so much screenshake that it's really tough to see what's actually going on. It also starts to feel impossible to engage directly with the enemies or go and collect candy corn any more because even going near the horde is instant death. Also I think that the game is a balance leans a bit too heavily in the direction of spamming large numbers of turrets, unlike other tower defense games which tend to moreso discourage spamming turrets and instead have you upgrade them over time. When you only have a limited amount of time to build, it's stressful to have to place a lot of turrets in that amount of time.
Though with all that said this is still a really great entry. Well done.

Great submission! I love the art and the gameplay is engaging. It's almost addictive after a certain point. The difficulty is quite high sometimes though, and one improvement I can think of is to change the enemy colors a bit. Although the colors are very consistent, this also makes it hard to differentiate the player, the turrets, and the enemies sometimes. Apart from that, awesome job!

Great job with the game. I am a fan of the action tower defense gameplay, it worked well and felt very chaotic. You did a good job with feedback for attacking. I liked the variety of towers and upgrades to buy. I was not a huge fan of the forced 10 seconds of shop time, it initially made it hard to read through what everything did and later on it was either too fast to place the stuff I wanted or I had a few seconds of just waiting to resume. Overall all though a really fun game, good work.
I love the art and style of the game, it looks really nice. It's a bit complicated looking but overall nice job :)
